Auralux Beauty Reviews (51)

Review: My mother died on September 2, 2015. She was 82 years old and she has been in poor health for the last 2 years.

When cleaning my mother's home, I have found 8 unopened packages. I'm guessing that these packages are 4 containers of Auralux and 4 containers of Vibrant skin cream at $95 each. These 8 packages have all been sent to her starting April 26, 2015. From April 26, to September 12, 2015, Her bank account's records show that Auralux debited her account 10 times. Five times for $92.53 and Five times for $89.95. I have found one set of these products that was opened (the 10th set), probably the first ones she received because she had no idea what it was, since she did not order it.

My mother, [redacted], never authorized this company to withdraw money from her bank account. Back in April, she was ordering something else over the phone. The operator asked her if she wanted to purchase these beauty products, and she said no. Apparently, the operator realized she was elderly and thought she was an easy target. While I don't have concrete proof, I feel the operator acted criminally, by using my mother's information to create a sale for the Auralux Skin Care company, which has blown into this situation. (My mother was of sound mind right up until she passed. At age 82, my mother had difficulty breathing and walking, the last thing she was concerned about was her wrinkles.)

I have contacted this company several times. Right away, on the phone, the customer service rep cancelled her account and refunded one month's charges of $92.53 and $89.95. But I would like all the products returned and my mother's money credited back to her account. I have sent them 3 emails telling them this and they refuse saying their refund policy doesn't allow that. She never asked for these products to be mailed to her in the first place.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is return authorization labels to return these products, and a full refund to my mother's bank account, which they were never authorized to debit in the first place.

By my calculations, they still owe her 4 x $92.53 and 4 x $89.95 = $729.92.

Any help you can give us, would be very appreciated.

Thank you,

Review: I supposedly "won a free item" allI had to do was pick the item and pay for shipping which was around $4. This was on Dec 30, 2014.

A month later I was out of town and my [redacted] account went negative. I filed a complaint with my bank and just received a letter stating that I signed up for a monthly purchase of some $92. face cream! I had my 2nd heart attack on February 9 and spent two weeks in and out the hospital due to in-stent restenosis, which is that my first stent closed due to longterm type 1 diabetes. Right before I went into hosptial I received the face cream in the mail that I supposedly ordered and the invoice included had NO contact information or phone number to call. I find the whole thing offensive and sheisty. I realize I was a fool to fall for the whole "free gift" [redacted] in the first place, however I feel that they did not make it clear that I was signing up for an ongoing purchase of a 92 dollar bottle of cream which I can in no way afford nor want. The fact that the invoice included is so vague makes me feel that they are aware of the situation they are putting people in. I had to call Bank of America to find out their company name and customer service phone number to get in contact with them. They are saying that they cannot accept the face cream in return because it is past 30 days. I told them about being in the hopstial and not being able to afford this in any way. They don't care. I don't feel they are being honest with customers.Desired Settlement: My [redacted] account thru [redacted] is now closed, so I am requesting a check. I am sending back the product. Really face cream for 92 dollars?

Review: I purchased the two following products from Auralux trial offers: Vibrant Stem Cell Cream and Snake Venom Cream. The offer I saw on line is absolutely not the offer I now see on their website. After lengthy talks with several representatives and Supervisors, I was told I would receive 75% of my money returned to my account. I did receive the 75% return on the Vibrant Stem Cell Cream, however I have yet to receive the 75% refund on the Snake Venom Cream which was promised on July 9,.2015. In fact I was told that the company had returned the money to my account on June 29, 2015 at 10:00 am. The Supervisors I spoke to gave me what they called their bank's "Transaction ID # [redacted]. My bank has yet to receive this transaction. I was told that I should be receiving $69.25. The last time I spoke to the representatives and supervisors of the company was Thursday, July 9, 2015, in which I was told that I should receive the money back into my account by the next day which was Friday, July 10, 2015. It is now a week since I last spoke to anyone from the Auralux Company, and as I stated earlier I still have not received my refund. Since I have never opened the trail jars, nor the two subsequent jars I received, I did offer several times to send back all products, however I was told I could keep their products. If the company representatives, would now like their products returned by me I will gladly do so. As I said earlier I have not opened any of the products.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund sent A.S.A.P, bank into my account. I don't know what other options I have, however if this "Transaction ID # [redacted]", that was given to me is not valid, I suppose my next steps would be to contact the California State Attorney's Office because of possible bank fraud.

Review: Web site for [redacted] and [redacted] very misleading. Not happy with charges to my checking account after agreeing to trial size order. Overpriced and poor business skills!Desired Settlement: Company would only refund partial amount. Would like for website to post in bold print that trial size order has to be cancelled within certain amount of time for full refund. I feel small print is not clear and there should be some clarification on main web page. Having to read drawn out agreement in small print on separate page is not enough to help consumer make decision on following through on order. If company wants to be honest about what they are offering, make it clear up front.

Review: I CALLED to order Snake Venom Peptide Cream for $1.00. They tried to talk me into an additional product called Stem CellActiv which I declined in no uncertain terms. The associate claimed that the products work together. I insisted that I wanted the Snake Venom one time only and DID NOT want the Stem Cell. They sent it anyway followed by 2 more jars of the Snake Venom. The packing slip has no address, only the phone number of ###-###-####. The Stem Cell jar shows parent company as [redacted] in [redacted], ###-###-####. The Snake Venom jar shows the name Auralux of [redacted], ###-###-####.

I called ###-###-####, the number on the packing slip to see why they sent the Stem Cell after I made it clear not to ship it and why these jars are coming. The agent who identified himself as [redacted] was extremely rude. He would not permit me to speak to a supervisor and said I have been charged $92 each for the additional jars that I did not order! I told him that I would send the unopened jars back and want a refund on the 3 jars I did not order. He said it was too late but that he would give me $100 toward next purchase. Every time I tried to talk he would interrupt and run over me in Spanish. He called me a [redacted] in English.

I called back hoping to get another associate but he answered again saying he was [redacted], not [redacted] as he claimed in the first call.

the packing slip says Order [redacted] and Customer [redacted].

Maybe there is some stipulations on the website he referred me to but I placed my order on the phone and no stipulations were mentioned. That order taker in fact did what I specifically told her NOT to do; send more than one Snake Venom, send the Stem Cell jar. This is nothing but a scam that I can't afford. Thank you!

[redacted] ###-###-####Desired Settlement: Refund on 3 jars that I didn't order.

Review: I ordered a trial size bottle from this site [redacted]that was supposed to be $4.95 for each bottle, which was taken from my account on 2/26/15. Today say they took out $173.51 per the terms and agreements at the bottom of the page. This is outrageous! I called customer support and they will refund $80.00. I would never spend that kind of money on a little jar of face cream. Businesses that pull this kind of stuff should be forbidden.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund.

Endorsed by Dr. Oz. I thought would be god product. Thought I would do a Free trial size for $5.00 s and h.

Apparently, there is a 14 day free trial for the product, which they are sure to send out very late when the free trial time period is nearly over so you don't have a real trial anyway before needing to cancel an auto ship, which is burried somewhere you can't find. They do not include any pricing, auto ship information, how to use product when receiving product. There is a packing receipt with very little data on it. How convenient for them and not for customers.

IF you fail to recall or even are aware of the auto ship, you get billed for the product plus the shipping and handling. Somehow I ended up with two products Auralux and a Stem Cell product. One was priced at $87.53 the other $85.98 plus shipping and handling.

They offered me up to 75% off to get me to continue their auto ship, but I still had to pay for the first products at full price...which I didn't even know what that amount was to begin with. Gee, if they can charge such a small price for these products to continue using, why such a rip off price after the offered free sample? Which is not free.

PLUS a restocking fee of $6.95 for each bottle they had sent out along with the return shipping for each product.

This company has deceptive advertising, hides key details in small print, vague on shipping data, invoicing, product usage information. Their customer service rep,[redacted] was patient, but she also was reading her chart and kept saying the same thing over and over. I would receive nothing more than I would have to pay for the products because I did not call within the 14 days of their terms and agreements.

This product burned my face. I told her that. Her comeback to me was that the product was working and that my skin was being renewed by the process. There was no information about eyes. I also had eye stress and headaches from using this product, even though I did not get the product into my eyes.

Review: 1) The product that this company is offering is complete bogus. It does not provide ANY of the advertised effects.

2) They lure customers in with a "free" trial and in the fine print have them agreeing to a recurring monthly order of nearly $100.

3) They have a NO return, NO refund policy. I tried to return my unopened product and was informed that once the card is charged, all transactions are nonrefundable.Desired Settlement: Obviously it would be great if I could get a full refund from the company for the products (some of which I never actually received).

Although, I know that there is likely no chance at direct recourse for me individually, but I think that this scam should be shut down. The way their "free trial" is structured and advertised is misleading and intentionally predatory.

Review: The Ad read a FREE trial of [redacted] and I only had to pay the shipping of $3.95 and $4.95 for the [redacted]m . It arrived with absolutely NO PAPERS with the items in the box. I THOUGHT THIS WAS ODD! I got charged the right amount on my credit card, but now this month I got two separate charges of $89.85 each on my credit card. I called the companies. One was in [redacted] the other in [redacted] and was told I had 2 weeks to call back otherwise I would get charged. I asked why I am getting charged for a free sample and they said it was on the website, but it was not. I asked why two charges of $89.85 and was told they are two separate companies even though both products are designed the same, sold to me on the same website and delivered to me in the same box . I asked for their address and he wouldn't give it to me. I THOUGHT THIS WAS ODD. He just gave me his website and told me he's not allowed to give me their address. (even though they are a company) I asked to speak to a supervisor and he told me he was the supervisor. I wasn't getting anywhere so said I would call Revdex.com, and hung up. He immediately called me back and offered me back 75% of the $89.85. I questioned why he didn't do this before and he said because I didn't ask? I FOUND THIS ODD. He said he wouldn't give me the full refund. I told him I can't use the product, it burned on my face. I literally used it three times and gave up, I would be happy to send it back to show him I'm not asking to keep the product AND REFUND THE MONEY too . He said no to that. I'm told I will get a credit put back on my card of $67.39 within five days.

I called the other company and he said all the same things and right off said he noticed the other company gave me a discount so he will too. I THOUGHT THIS WAS ODD.

I have notified my credit card company and disputed the two amounts and blocked this company.

I HONESTLY thought I was talking to the same person when calling both companies.Desired Settlement: I would like both of the $89.85 charges taking totally off from my credit card and not just the 75% off.

I don't mind paying for the shipping because it was what I agreed to.

I have learned my lesson!!!

Review: I was doing a survey online, after completing the survey a window appeared offering a choice of three (3) free gifts. I clicked on a skin care product called Auralux Snake Venom Peptide Cream - Syn-Ake. The next window claimed a FREE sample for only a shipping and handling fee of $4.95 for two products with credit card information entry boxes. The pop-up window never mentioned that Auralux has a website, nor did it direct to it. It simply allowed the credit card information to be entered and said that the product will be shipped within a business day, except on weekends. The product arrived a few days later, a tiny jar of 1 oz size. 14 days later, today 7/29/15 Auralux charged $4.95 and another $45.92 to my credit card. I called the phone number on the credit card statement and they claimed that I agreed to be part of a membership program unless I called within 14 days to cancel due to dissatisfaction with the product. They claimed that just by having my credit card number (that they fraudulently obtained from me for shipping and handling, not for the product), I am in a contract with them because I "ordered" the product and the membership and they charge the "full price" of the product unless I call within 14 days of the "order". I called today and demanded the cancel any further shipments of there product, it has caused me to break out really bad. She only canceled ([redacted]) once I told her I was going to contact the Revdex.com. It's sad you have to get ugly with people to get them to listen.Desired Settlement: Refund $40.97 to my credit card and no further contact with this company.

Review: I ordered a trial online. No where on the trial did it state a 14 day trial nor did it state that it must be cancelled in 14 days or they will keep sending an billing your CC.

The company is accepting an RMA for this but they are having me pay for return shipping and a restocking fee of $9.95. I never ordered this second shipment and do not think that I should be charged anything.

please look at the website [redacted] to see what that Trial offer at the bottom does not state a 14 day trial and that they will keep shipping more at $87 each.

This seems to be a major scam and wish that I never ordered this!Desired Settlement: I would like to be able to send in this RMA and have the shipping and restocking fee returned to me at well as the original amount.

I should not be out a dime for them shipping something that I never ordered.

I ordered this product months ago. I found it really didn't work so I called 6 months ago to cancel. Last week I found another charge to my account for $46. I called to complain and they stated that they shipped an order. I explained that I had cancelled and the service person on the other end just kept talking over me. I told them I did not order the product, had cancelled months ago and I wanted a refund. He stated that I was past my one week trial and hung up on me. This happened 3 times. Be warned...DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

This company is a scam please read the terms and conditions before you give them any information this is where they get you. That 4.99 dollar offer turns into a 90 plus scam. They wright you have 14 days to cancel your order (plus 4 day shipping) but it really is 10 days. I see this as false advertizing. Run away from this company as fast as you can. You have been warned

Review: Website for Auraux states that there is a shipping and handling charge skin serum ordered but then was charged an additional fee within a month. Nothing on the website showed any additional fee should be charged.Desired Settlement: I want the additional $87.53 charged refunded back to me.

Review: I ordered two samples of face creams for $4.99 and $4.95. My credit card was billed $87.53 and $85.98 respectively. A third jar was not ordered but was received and I was billed $85.98 for it as well. A call to the company did not result in satisfaction, only the third charge was reduced by $40.00 even though I didn't order it in the first place. My request for a return authorization and shipping label was denied. I have resubmitted a request for an RA and shipping label but have had no response as of this time. The confirmations for the two products I DID order show the Order Totals of $4.99 and $4.95, NOT the 17.5 times price I was charged. This is clearly not kosher, in fact it is fraud. When I canceled my order and then my credit card, they started calling my cell phone to try to get me to buy their products. My cell number is on the National Do No Call list and it is illegal to telemarket to cell phone numbers in the state of Nebraska.Desired Settlement: I expect to be refunded 100% and to have the company sent a postage paid label to return all three products and to have no further contact with them; by internet, U.S. Postal Service or phone.

Review: I am going to relay an online grievance as it was written because I had the same experience:

I clicked on a skin care revolutionary product called Auralux Snake Venom and Peptide Cream. The next window claimed a FREE sample for only a shipping and handling fee of $4.95 toghether with credit card information entry boxes. The pop-up window never offered a website, nor did it direct to it. It simply allowed the credit card information to be entered and said that the product will be shipped within a business day, except on weekends. The product arrived a few days later, one jar. 14 days later, I had ta charge of 87.53 from Auralux on my account. Today I had a charge from [redacted] on there for the amount of $87. there was no 800-number on the credit card statement nor on the webiste. I emailed a notice of cancellation and cancelled the card they charge.

The main issues are the following:

1.The sample product was claimed to be free, but they charged me full price after 14 days.

2. The terms and conditions of contract or membership were deceptively hidden.

3. They claim that the "Terms and Conditions" on their web site auraluxbeauty.com spells out the detail in fine print that if I pay $4.95 for shipping and handling, I automatically agree to be part of a membership program with regular future shipments, and a full price of $87.53 will be charged unless I call tocancel within 14 days after paying the $4.95.

I would like a refund of my money that they STOLE!Desired Settlement: Send me a check for the money they took from me without my consent.

Review: This company advertised for a trial of their skin cream on [redacted]- I used my mobile phone to make the purchase. When I purchased one product it immediately directed me to another product and charged for both. 5.99 for one and 4.99 for the other. I thought OK well its only 4.99.Fast forward to today and I am charged 89.99 and 92.53 for the creams. I called their customer service and was told that I agreed to a 14 day trial only, and charges after that. They claim that I selected a checkbox agreeing.-There was no checkbox when I placed my order. Had I been aware of this I never would have purchased a sample. When I called customer service they tried to sell me more cream. I explained that I don't even want the cream I have. She gave me the run around-repeating the same things over and over and then stated she would increase my trial period to 30 days and reduce the price of the creams to 46.26. I was trying to cancel and she kept saying 46.26 you can afford this for the next purchase. She would not tell me what is going to happen to the current charges. I asked to speak to a manager and I was hung up on.I called back. Asked to speak to a manager and was refused. Again I was given the runaround. The result from this call was cancelling my autoship and that I would get a 35% refund on each products but that my trial period was over. Eventhough the previous CSR stated I had 30 days (until August 28th). It is not clearly marked that you will be charged after 14 days, I did not recieve and email stating this(or any email with my order), the package insert was a receipt with no information. At this point I have no idea if I am getting an actual refund, if I indeed have 30 days now to return the product or what. When you ask them straight out they do not answer your question.Desired Settlement: This company is taking advantage of people. The terms of the trial should be CLEARLY marked, one should have to check a box agreeing to the terms, they should be sending a confirmation email when a trial is purchased and have this info in the email, as well as, included on the packing slip. This is not a good product-I would have never purchased it if I had known there was a trial period timeframe in which to return the products.

Review: I order the Auralux Snake Venom cream on 3/2/15, after I tried it I end up with sores on one side of my face. I called the company where they refused to take the product back, but would credit $40.00 from the bill. When my statement came from the credit card company I was billed an additional $87.53, I call the company, was told I was only billed once and my account was closed.I tried to dispute the additional charges but they hang up the phone I called again the following day and ask to speak to a supervisor, they refused to called one or give me their name and hang the phone up.Desired Settlement: Seeing that the product did not work,I believe I deserve to get back all the money chargedand if the product is so good why do they have to go to such length as to sell the product and refused to issue a guarantee.

Review: I have sent numerous messages to this company, and I have called several times. No reply, ever. They have been charging my credit card and sending products (which do not work), after my repeated requests for them to cancel the account. When I finally got someone on the phone, after a long wait on "hold"), I got someone to say he'd cancel the account.Regardless, this is the worst customer service and bare attention I have ever had to deal with in my life! Besides the fact that their very expensive products don't work at all.Desired Settlement: I just want others to know how terrible this company is and how bad their products. I hope the Revdex.com will post online (on your website) how bad this company is. AND tell the company.

Review: My wife went online and found this Aurulux skincream that she wanted. Therewas a free trail, but $5.00 for shipping. She gave them my debit card info for the shipment. This was about a month ago. On, or about September 15th we started getting charges to my account. The first charge was $69.39. The second charge was $90.85 on the 17th.The last one, again on the 17th for $93.46.My bank and the folks at [redacted] say this is a scam!!! This was supposed to be a FREE TRIAL!!! My bank account has now been charged $253.70!Desired Settlement: This business needs to be investigated!! It's a scam, and we don't need more victims!!
