Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: A consumer pays Austin Couch Potatoes over $1,for bedroom furniture and your response for a poorly made headboard by your supplier is I did not pay for another warranty if I were an owner and or a super at Austin Couch Potatoes I would help a customer that spent almost $5,with you in furniture that head board is cracked and that is definitely a manufacturer's problemYou being the reseller I paid you the money not LMT We were told and sold solid wood furniture and the wood has cracked terrible quality not even a 2" x 6" board from Lowes or Home Depot would crack unless I put a nail in it and hit it with a hammer! I would be willing to refund the delivery as a solution to the delayed delivery if the customer removes all negative feedback on all review websites and Revdex.com, [redacted] , ***, etcWe see this as the remedy to the accused problemTherefore we would be completely resolved and furniture delivered entirely ***

At first I was very happy with this company. Now, after I have spent $4,000 on the furniture I am wishing I would have gone to a name brand store instead. The chair that I bought from them broke just after a few months. After going round and round with them they finally sent someone out to look at it. It has been a month and I still have a broken chair. Yes, I did spend the extra $200 for the warranty. Technician was supposed to call me yesterday to set up my appointment for today and like their typical fashion they never called. Here I sit with this huge chair that takes up a quarter of my living room and no one can sit on it. At this point I have no choice but to take legal action on them and enforce the lemon law. Really sad because they seemed like such nice people.

I am rejecting this response because: The sales rep didn't point out there could be delays even though it states that on the invoice. We are still upset because what you can control are a couple of things. One is the damage chair that was supposed to be re-ordered it was known on the day of the delivery it was damaged, but yet my wife called back an entire week later to find out the status only to learn you hadn't even ordered the replacement yet and not sure when you would have if we hadn't called. Now we are being told the couch won't be delivered until this chair comes in. A chair that you took over a week to order.
The other thing you can control is that your staff is incredibly rude - you can read the reviews all over the internet on *** and other sites about your staff when you call - particularly ***. She is the rudest individual that anyone could ever deal with. She repeatedly gets us off the phone saying she will call us back and never does. Your entire staff is like that - you sure seem nice when you wanted my money, but now that you have it your reps sure are not pleasant. I don't think companies should be able to stay open when they treat people that way. A manager was supposed to call my wife today regardless of if the couch came in or not to give us an update and we received no such call. It is the same song and dance over and over again when we call in.
So regardless of the delays by your vendors, weather, etcwe are now waiting due to the fact that you guys didn't timely do a replacement order on our broken chair. We are more and more frustrated due to the customer service of folks like ***. Have you even read the reviews online about her and her attitude and you still keep her around?
