We are not going to accept the requested down payment refund. If you do not wish to purchase another vehicle from us, that is absolutely fine. We are still willing to buy back your vehicle at a fair price to both parties.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Auto Holding is saying they will buy the car back at a fair price, but Auto Holding knows that I am still financing this vehicle, buying the car back at a reasonable price will not solve my issue if I am still paying for a car that I no longer have in my possession. There is currently a note left on this car at almost 15,000. Is Auto Holding saying that they will pay off the loan that is still on the car?

Customer purchased it "As Is" and has all the supported documents.

To Whom It May Concern,After receiving a complaint from the buyer for issues on the newly purchased vehicle, we began to repair everything. As mentioned in the complaint, all original issues have been repaired. At that point the vehicle was in excellent condition. We cannot guarantee a...

vehicle to operate and function flawlessly as it is out of our control. We welcome the buyer to trade the vehicle back to us so that we can provide her with an alternative vehicle that will give her a better experience and enjoyment. Please don't hesitate to contact us if this is something you are interested in.  Sincerely,Auto Holding

The customer has applied for credit to purchase a vehicle. Her credit app was sent to a few banks for approval. There is nothing that can be done to remove the inquiries as they were legitimate.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I am already in a financial bind having a vehicle that is deemed not safe, or road ready, As to add insult to injury, I was just notified that the tires that this establishment placed on my vehicle just last year July, 2014 were worn down and in need of new front tires,  this is a result of Auto Holdings failing to align the tires when the vehicle was originally sent back to Auto Holdings when the vehicle  first failed inspection in 2014.
I was not prepared to be looking into getting another loan so soon after buying this vehicle. I am also not 100 percent sure that getting another vehicle off your lot will not place me in a similar demise.   My original offer was to be refunded my original down payment which was a total of 3,500.00. Understand, I am fully aware that getting the truck in better working condition may take more than what I am asking to be considered safe, and within ** code for road safety.

Please consider my offer, and understand that if this agreement is met, I will rescind my original dispute and place it in a satisfactory status.

Title and reassignment had been delivered to clients place of work on the 29th of August of 2014. We did not update the Revdex.com with the result right away. However, to confirm, the tracking number is [redacted] is the carrier.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Yes, after 14 days of possessing a vehicle I could not legally drive, the paperwork was finally received today.  HOWEVER I am awaiting a reply regarding a refund of fees in the amount of $847.88 charged by [redacted] for registration & document fees.  As they were unable to complete the transaction as promised (plus the fact that I now have to take time off from work to complete this deal) I don't feel I should pay for a service they were unable to deliver.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Yes they said they would offer us a replacement, then they said that they couldn't find one. But they were certainly happy enough to put us in a more expensive vehicle. I don't work with liars and crooks. That is what this dealership did and is....
What dealership asks if you are still on your way, and is holding the car and then 40 minutes(literally) right after, (5 minutes before we arrive) calls and said they sold it, to a person who came in, didn't want to test drive it, had a 800 credit score and was like we had to sell it immediately and they drove away and had all the paper work etc done, with in the 40 minutes from when they called to ask if we were still on our way to the 5 minutes before we got there.... The whole thing is fishy, and I am not biting.
Regards,
[redacted]

Please note as we previously offered to the buyer, we would be more than happy to complete the repairs. The only requirement we have is for the buyer to bring the vehicle over and we will take care of the rest.Awaiting the response to complete this in a timely manner.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The only negative equity would have been $72.00 I paid $5000.00 by check the car balance was 9072.00. The amount Auto Holding said they would give me for my car is $4000.00 I was instructed to put down $5000.00 ( which was paid by check and cashed by auto holding) therefore wiping out the balance -$72.00 left on the car. With that being said the only negative balance on the car would have been $72.00. Per the documentation I attached previously. I am currently working with the DMV because the License Plate the New BMW X5 was registered under actually belongs to a 2006 Saab 9-3 ARC.  In turn I will have to pay to re-register my vehicle along with paying for another plate which I plan to do tomorrow AM.

I am rejecting this response because:
I'm not resolving the issue yet not until, I get a hold of the vehicle title. And I have no words of mailing the title to me from none of the staffs either.

Thank you.

We attempt to resolve each and every issues that arises to the best of our ability. In this case, it has been difficult due to the misconstrued facts given by the buyer. No one "pushed" the client to purchase the car or the warranty. We explain and outline each and every piece of information at time...

of purchase. This includes the contract for the warranty that the client reviewed and signed. The buyer made a claim with the warranty company and that company agreed to pay on the terms of the contract. The repairs would have to be done at any authorized facility. The warranty company has a set hour labor rate that it has the contract based on. The buyer can take the car to [redacted], however, would be responsible for the "deductible" as well as the gap between his allowed hourly rate per contract and the rate the dealer of his choice charges. The parts the warranty company issues claims for are aftermarket OEM spec parts that are of high quality. We attempted to work with the client in offering to bring the car to us for repairs or perhaps come up with another fair resolution. The client declined, told us he doesn't want anything to do with us or our help and that was it. We are still more than welcome to have the client allow us to help get this car repaired, however, we are limited in what we can do without his interest in our help.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
1. Transportation Company will not know condition of this so-call "good shape, mechanically" car.
2. This does not give the dealership the right to not call back or follow-up with my complaint via email or phone
3. It's common sense to know that any luxury car requires more attention and maintenance except the issue I am reporting was not just maintenance. It is a major component of a car that is consider not a "good shape, mechanically car". The issue with the fuel tank and air suspension is a danger to the driver and could cause a much bigger damage if we were on the highway. Concerns like this should have been listed or mentioned in the desc if sold "AS-IS" especially for buyer who is not able to test drive the car and relies so much on the dealership honestly and description of the vehicle.

We have spoke to the client and had resolved the issue. She traded the vehicle to another dealer as per our salesperson. She requested a refunded for the warranty purchased, and we notified the bank to do so. She has not contacted us directly since which leads us to assume all issues have been...

resolved. Should that not be the case, we look forward to communicating with the client to ensure this dispute is resolved immediately.

The warranty just like the vehicle is something the buyer decides to purchase. We as the dealership present both the vehicle and warranty to the buyer. We do not make it a requirement to purchase the warranty. We have an extremely successful history with this warranty company. I am not sure why a client would incur $12,000 in repairs PRIOR to contacting the dealer for assistance. However, I am still trying to do my best and help the client work with the warranty company for possible compensation. We are not "washing our hands" as the client states, however we are not going to refund the warranty payment as it has been paid by us to the warranty company. If [redacted] decides to use our assistance in working with the warranty company, he can contact us directly anytime.

To Whom It May Concern,
Our dealership sells a wide variety of
cars. From $1,000 commuter cars to $100,000 luxury and exotic
automobiles. We carefully advertise and describe each and every
vehicle to the best of our ability. In the case of the 2...

vehicle
purchase by [redacted] the automobiles were sold as-is.
This was due to the age and mileage of both the 2005 BMW X3 and the
2003 Mercedes-Benz ML500. It serves no advantage to our firm to
misrepresent our product. When we were contacted about the long
distance purchase of these 2 cars, we made it clear as to the
condition of the automobiles. Typically out of state buyers request
third party inspections to determine a non-biased opinion of the
condition. In this case the buyers did not do an inspection and
agreed to purchase the cars sight unseen. To assist, we went over the
cars and [redacted] the salesperson did a thorough description of each car.
As per New Jersey Lemon Law, any vehicle that is over 7 years of age
and/or has 100,000+ miles is not covered and sold as-is, where-is.
Last but not least, [redacted] nor any other employee of this firm would
never hang up the phone on this or any other customer. We offered to
take the cars back without questions, however, to meet us at a fair
agreement, the client would have to deliver them back to us.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I spoke with [redacted] from the company who assured me that he would work to have inquiries removed. You say you run my credit once and forward the information to prevent multiple inquiries. I had at least six hard inquiries from multiple banks you sent my information to. It was not just [redacted]. I received alerts from [redacted] and [redacted] also. Also, I contacted the credit bureaus and the hard inquiries can either be removed or recoded as soft inquiries. You have to contact the banks you provided my information to and rectify the matter.

I asked until Monday to come up with a reosolution for the inconvenience. I was not even give that opportunity, which is understandable considering the situation. However, we do not do bait and switch. This is a dealership that operates on a first come first serve basis like every other store in...

NJ. We offered severeal vehicle at or BELOW the price listed for the car sold. We offered to purchase an identical car and show our cost without any mark up to make up for the inconvenience.
I understand the frustration the customer faced, however, whatever we attempted to do to remedy the situation, we got shut down quickly. We really wanted to work with the buyers to make up for this headache, but it's a two way street and obivously we were not given the chance to redeem ourselves. Best of luck in your future endavors.

Review: On July 26th I've purchased a used, class A car from Auto Holding from a sales rep named [redacted] While buying the car, I was told that I have a 14 day money back as well as 30 day warranty.

On my way home I noticed that something was wrong with the car and contacted the business shortly after. I spoke with one of the managers named [redacted] and he instructed me to take the car to the garage of my choice. He claimed that I should not worry about it since I had a warranty and that they were there for me if there were any issues.

Along with the car, I was almost pushed into purchasing a very expensive 'Platinum Warranty' as well. According to their financial department, this warranty should cover EVERYTHING and every car in this A class category.

I booked an appointment with [redacted] (authorized dealer) for a few weeks later and they quoted me for:

- Right Front Stabilizer end link is worn/noisey and Thurst arms have excessive play (noisey)

- Tech recommends replacing the Stablizer End link ([redacted])

and the Left front thrust arm bushings - [redacted] - and Right front thrust am bushings [redacted]950

A total of $1459.48 + TAX.

[redacted] also opened a claim with the "amazing" warranty that I purchased and got a decline for the fixes needed.

I went back to Auto Holding with these shocking news (now I was almost at the end of the dealer's "30" day warranty - and I stressed it to them). I also contacted the 3rd party warranty that they sold me ([redacted]) and requested to cancel my policy. They said that they can't let me cancel and offered a partial cover for the fix - they asked me to visit an un-authorized dealer that will install aftermarket parts (made in china) for this expensive car that I just got.

Eventually I asked Auto Holding that unless they have a creative solution, I would like to return the car and the warranty.

I should not run around and fix an expensive car that I just purchased.

Auto Holding pretty much told me that it's my problem and that's itDesired Settlement: I would like for one of the following to happen:

1. Them taking the car + warranty back

2. Them reimbursing me for the repair at [redacted] (authorized dealer)

I spent a lot of time + money already and was very patient and open to this whole case. I would really like for this to resolve ASAP.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

Auto Holding NEVER offered to take the car (that I just purchased) and fix it. They DID push me to buy the warranty and warned me that if I'm are not buying the warranty, then I will be subject for "fees" that equal to the warranty price.Car is in [redacted] right now for the fixes they should have took care of in the first place. The only resolution right now should be a compensation for this fix.
