On April 5, 2016, Mr [redacted] was given his pay off figure as of that dayHowever, between that date and April 11, 2016, when we did receive a check to pay off his loan two things occurredFirst, his automatic payment that was attempted on April 1, 2016, was returned to us by his bankBecause that payment returned after we quoted him the pay off on April 5th, it caused his balance to increaseIn addition to that, his payments are due every FridayHe owed a payment for April 1st and a payment the following Friday, April 8thThe difference between those two payments, the per diem interest, and the amount we received to payoff his loan is $That shortage will need to be paid in order for us to release the titleI will be more than happy to expedite getting the title released as soon as we receive the shortage amount

I have researched Ms [redacted] 's complaint and I believe her confusion comes from the fact that our company name is Lease and Rental Management d/b/a Auto LoanMs [redacted] entered into a Retail Installment Contract in October of for a [redacted] (bearing VIN [redacted] ) that she purchased from [redacted] AutosThat vehicle was repossessed on September 27, 2012, and the following day she had a conversation with one of our representatives in which she informed us that she did not want to get that vehicle back or reinstate her loanSubsequently, the vehicle was sold at auction and the deficiency balance being reported on the credit bureaus is due and owingOur trade lines are reported with the corporate name of Lease and Rental ManagementIt is possible that she is not aware of thatWe have not received any further communication from Ms [redacted] requesting any further informationIf she has any further questions, she can call me directly at ( [redacted]

I have researched this complaint and it appears as thought we did report Mr*** account as over days late in May of (not July 2015)I have already taken the steps necessary to change his file to reflect zero late paymentsThis update will be sent over the next week or so when we
send the report containing June dataDue to the fact that we agreed to defer several payments for Mr*** to assist him with the mechanical issues that he was having, those missed payments should not have been reported as late

The vehicle wholesale values was much more than listed above, see attached *** *** ***. I would like to see the auction paperwork/bill of sale or whatever document showing the price that it was auctioned off from whatever company that auctioned the vehicle. I will not accept any typewritten item from Auto Loan.

I have researched Mr***'s account and have found the following to be true: Mrand *** *** entered into this loan in November of Over the past twenty months, we have primarily spoken to Mr*** regarding any of the issues pertaining to payments or bank account problemsIn February
of 2014, it was Mr*** that contacted us to tell us that his bank account was closed and at that time provided us a prepaid card for future paymentsIn August of 2014, Mr*** contacted us again and provided us a savings account to then use for paymentsIn February of 2015, Mr*** called and informed us that that savings account was closedThe following month Mr*** set up payments from another cardWe first spoke to *** *** on March 23, 2015, when she called in to make a payment towards the past due on the account and she was going to set up the weekly payments going forwardOn April 28, 2015, Mr*** then called and we explained to him that the card that he had provided for payments was not workingWe advised him to contact the bank to find out what the problem is that is preventing us from being able to take paymentsWe offered to use his 16-digit card number for payments because there are some prepaid cards that cannot be accessed with a routing number and account numberThose cards could only be accessed by using the card numberWe advised Mr*** to talk to the bank about what the problem was with his account and to let us knowHe declined having us use his card and we waited for him to call us backOn May 13, 2015, he called in again disputing the various times over the duration of his loan where he called in to switch bank and/or card information for his paymentsWe again advised him to talk to his bank to get an explanation from them as to why we could not access his account and we cancelled any attempt for payment until he called us with that informationThere was not a single attempt for payment from any card or bank account on May 15, 2015, and we do not make multiple attempts for a single payment under any circumstanceWe make one attempt and if that payment returns, then it is up to the customer to make up that paymentAfter May 13, 2015, we never talked to the customer againWe made numerous attempts to call him both during and after his work hoursWe left many voicemail messages that he could have returned after he got out of workThis vehicle went out for repossession for non-payment at the end of June and was subsequently repossessedWe are more than willing to work with Mr*** to allow him to reinstate his loan by paying what is delinquent and the fees associated with the repossessionHe can speak to *** *** at *** *** * *** if he wants to discuss reinstating his loanOnce a vehicle is repossessed, we do not accept partial payments for reinstatementHe will need to bring his account current and pay the fees incurred as a result of the repossession. I cannot respond to any household conflict this caused except to say that both Mr*** and *** *** signed this Retail Installment Contract making them equally responsible for the paymentsWe make no distinction between them when calling in to discuss the account or make payment since they are equally responsible for doing soLastly, if Mr*** wishes to discuss reinstating his loan, ***'s department is open from 8:30am-5:30pm

This account is being reported inaccurately and illegally with more than just ***No positive payment history was ever reported throughout the duration of the loanThe only thing reported was late payments months AFTER the debt had been dischargedThe final payment/time frame listed on credit profile is also incorrectFiling a complaint with the Revdex.com was one of the first steps to resolve this matterThe next steps will be filing a complaint with the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, Attorney General and seeking legal representation for the violationThese unfair practices have to be stoppedConsumers don't deserve to deal with unfair credit reporting practicesThis is wrong.
