I am rejecting this response because: It makes no since. I was one payment behind and I was going to pay it on the week it was repossessed. I spoke with someone on the phone and they assured me that it would be ok. Then a couple days later, right as I was about to leave for work, the car was gone. I don't know what you are talking about with the default in September 2013 when the car was not repossessed until 8 months later. Do the math. I was angry because someone lied to me from your company saying it was ok for me to pay Friday. I had to wait a week to receive my items, and when I checked them I realized I was missing items. I call a number of times to just be placed on hold or given the run around. How can you repossess someone's car then steal from them.

[redacted] leased a 2009 Dodge Caliber with AutoStart on June 23rd 2015 this vehicle was in a total loss accident in January 2016 this claim was filed with her Insurance company. The claim was not paid until May 9th 2016 by First Acceptance Insurance Company. This account will show as a paid off...

account with AutoStart on our next reporting cycle in June 2016. AutoStart leased [redacted] a 2008 Chevy Impala on March 4th 2016 this vehicle was in a total loss accident on May 18th 2016 this account will still show as an active account until we receive payment from the Insurance company. AutoStart will report a paid off account on the 2008 Impala to Equifax once the payment is received from the Insurance Company. AutoStart is not required to do renewals for our customers we do this as a courtesy. [redacted] tags were in on 7-29-16 and she has picked them up at the dealership on 8-1-16. [redacted] account has been credited $109.00 on Monday 8-1-16 for her inconvenience.

At the time of the repossession we had already sent a right to cure a default in September of 2013.  The default was not cured in the allotted time per Missouri law.  The letter would have stated if you did not cure the default within the time that no more right to cures would...

be sent.  However, we had not received a payment for more than 30 days and could not contact you so the vehicle was repossessed.  Our notes show that we attempted to contact you multiple times and we could not get an answer.
Our records also show that you came to us on the day that the vehicle was repossessed and we had only just received the vehicle and had not had an opportunity to inventory your items.  The notes show that you were very upset and we asked if you wanted us to call you when we inventoried the vehicle that day and you screamed no at them.
I then show that your personal property was redeemed by you on May 23, 2014.  That is well before this complaint was written so I am a bit confused as to why you are asking for your items.

AutoStart contacted [redacted] last week and we have ordered a spare key for her vehicle. We are currently waiting for the key to come in the mail. Once the key has arrived we will set up a convenient time for [redacted] to have the key cut and programmed with a certified locksmith.
