In the right hand column, second page, the applicable limited warranty expressly states that costs associated with replacement and refinishing are excluded.

How long should it take to resolve an outstanding issue with a manufacturer on ordering a part? A week, a few weeks or a month? We are talking about a consumer & a business. Not business to business. How long would you allow your rear entry door to be unsecured? That is really the heart of the matter. What do you think my insurance carrier would think if they knew my house was left unlockable for 4 months? What if we had a breakin would we still be covered? We have a develpementally disabiled person living in our home. What if something happened to her in our absence? We do live in a city. Not a bad neighborhood but not far from a neighborhood with an element in it. I would have thought that with all the back & forth nonscence with trying to order the parts I needed that I would have at the very least be not billed excessively for shipping. $27 for a mailing pouch that weighed no more than a pound. Do you think that's fair? That was billed by Weathershield not by a third party. Hoping I hear back with a solution?

once again reject weather shields response. I encourage you to ask them why they quote their claim handling guidelines rather than their warranty policy. They have specific language regarding their finish but they are yet to provide it to you. Why would they not quote their warranty? Why would they reject the findings of their own contractors that they sent to my house? Why would they recommend painting the windows and doors if they didn't think the paint was failing?

As requested, please find attached the applicable limited warranty.  The warranty excludes costs associated with replacement and refinishing.  Mr. [redacted] has been previously informed of this several times.

We have visited the jobsite 3 different times to corrected the issue. We had replaced screens, replaced weatherstrip because it was cut to short from the factory.  We had also replaced balance shoes that could have potentially been damaged by every day wear and tear.  Our service tech...

also stated that there could possible installation issues.  We feel that we have fulfilled our warranty obligation by assisting the customer in the field to correct this issue.

complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. Please get a copy of the warranty from Wethershield.  Originally they told us that the windows were not covered by the warranty (for over a year) but as I mentioned, they sent us the windows anyways after they tried to get me to sign away my white right under the warranty.  Additionally, pursuant to California warranty law they are required to provide for the replacement and installation of the windows.  I am more than willing to share the years of email correspondence and the warranty with you if somebody would like to contact me directly. Please do Google searches on Weathershield as the previous complaints pretty much mimic exactly the complaints we have. The warranty representative, [redacted], is even named  in these other online complaints. He was the guy who has shuffled us between about 10 different people and continually ignored us until I call the president of the company requesting a return call. A copy of the agreement to try and get us to sign away our warranty rights can be provided for your review as well. If nothing else, this letter is one of the most disgraceful business practices I have ever seen with regard to trying to eliminate a warranty for a customer.  I would really appreciate the opportunity to speak to the Revdex.com representative.

Can you please get the glass code for these units.  We do have a 20 year prorated warranty meaning the first 10 years we warrant100% the second 10 years the glass has a prorated warranty depending on the age of the units.  The code that I am looking for is a 15 digit code beginning with a...
