I've been avoiding putting Solar panels on my roof because I didn't want to deal with the sales peopleLast SDGE rate increase came along and I had to deal with itBaker Electric was recommended by friendsI called Brian our Sales Rep and he was a pleasure to deal withStraight shooterThe install was painless and the quality of work was outstandingThe guys doing the install were EZ to deal with and very efficientThe price was competitive with other companiesReputation is everything to me as I've run or owned a business for over yearsWhen SDG&E came out to do final inspection on the power panel etc, the guy was not in a good moodWhen he asked who did the install I told him it was Baker ElectricHis entire mood brightened and he said, "Thank God, I'll sleep well tonight." That's when I knew I made the right decision in using Baker Electric for my Solar installI have recommended them to friends and family and they are very pleased with the entire processFinancing was a breeze and I thank Baker Electric for their recommendation of SD Metropolitan Credit Union

Baker Electric solar team just completed the installation of my residential solar systemThe whole experience was so seamless with the Baker solar team driving the process without any glitches ( only one day install & total of 8-days from install to authorized operation) The Baker team demonstrated exceptional project management, in ever aspect of the job, so professional I worked in the housing field for more than yrsand own and manage rentals properties, Baker Electric is without exception the best contractor I have ever had the pleasure to do business with Jason, our sales rep, was so knowledgeable and straight forward in answering all of my questions And Andre, our installation crew leader, just absolutely incredible, the recommendation on install equipment & most of all the entire conduit run from roof panels done within interior of home (no ugly exterior conduit, like most companies) The fact that they are a home grown and operated company makes it all the better Finally, if you have existing concrete roof tiles on your roof, Baker's mounting system and replacement tile flashing is state of the art of Solar panel installationSorry if this review seems to good to be true, but I just have been so impressed with Baker, I am not used to a contractor going so far beyond in providing quality and customer service

Baker Electric Solar did a great job with our solar installation! The entire process was nearly flawless From the initial contact with Sales Rep *** to the final meeting with *** to review our new system and instructions for monitoring on-line, was professional ALL Baker employees we encountered along this process did an excellent job The installation crew were fabulous They treated our home as if it were their home They arrived when they said they would, they cleaned up so you wouldn't even know they had been here working They parked a trailer on site with our panels and supplies, at the end of the day it was buttoned up, and as soon as the work was completed it was gone Their workmanship was excellent! The employees have a pride in their work and integrity Communication was excellent from beginning to end We never had a question as to what would be happening next and/or when Our system is up and running as expected We are very happy with the work and the product at the best price around! We highly recommend Baker Electric Solar!

I cannot say enough about Baker and their professional attitude with our solar installationThey are first class with all parts of the NOT to use them because they are union, but these guys know what they are doing and do it in a totally professional manner quicklyOne single penetration of the roof and, literally done in one dayOur last SDG&E bill was $and a few cents (vs$-$in the summer)Are we glad we went solar - oh yeah!

I met w/Baker Electric Solar last year regarding the potential purchase of a solar electrical system We met w/their Salesperson, *** *** He asked to see our other solar company estimates and reviewed them We discussed our current needs and the imminent installation of a new electric heating / air conditioning system along with a new electric water heater We further discussed the proposed purchase of an electric car w/charging station, the construction of a workshop and granny flat w/in 2-years*** assured us the system was over designed to meet our current and proposed needs He even explained how we could add to the system and that Baker would remotely monitor it's effectivenessHe said,they even send technicians out to troubleshoot any issue before we may even know their's a problem He chuckled and said don't be alarmed if you see someone from Baker out by your electrical panel, We have excellent customer service We called Baker a couple time throughout the fi

I recently had Baker Electric install Solar capabilities at my residence The Baker team was exceptionally professional, prompt and efficient in the execution of all phases of this event I am a retired Engineer, and have owned a home for over years I currently own four houses and have used a multitude of contractors over this period The Baker Team rates the highest of all contacting efforts I have experienced They are truly deserving of their ratings

We could not have asked for a better experience than we had with our Baker Solar System installationFrom the initial sales visit to the activation, Baker's team was professional, knowledgable, and very considerate We had many, many questions along the way and always received quick and thorough responsesOur particular roof angles were challenging but the engineers found a way to configure our panels to gather the maximum energy, while considering the aesthetics of placement

Baker is one of the most professional companies I have ever worked withWe had our system installed years ago and the team was great I recommended to a neighbor who also had a system installed and is happy he made the decision
Then we had some performance issues that were not covered under our warranty Scott O’Hara, who sold us our system, worked with his team to come up with a plan to upgrade our system, which we happily accepted I cannot sing their praises enough as it is so rare to see a company going above and beyond what the contract specified

Baker Electric Home Energy were professional and thoroughWe needed our air conditioning unit to be looked at and the Baker representative was incredibly helpfulHe replaced some of the pvc pipes in the attic and brought a new filter, explained everything to us from the process to the fee’s for any work doneIt was a pleasant experienceBaker sets the standard for home energy visits

Seamless, cost effective installation and service during the entire process In addition, the installation and permitting process was successfully handled by Baker Electric ahead of promised schedule

your solar system installation On 8/Baker Electric Solar took
on your project knowing that your HERO financing application (initiated by
another contractor) was already set to expire, requiring
us to immediately
secure an extension on your behalf. The second extension however should
not have been necessary- and that’s on us. Your permit was properly
submitted to the City of Temecula on 9/16. Unfortunately due to the
volume of permit applications being processed by the city at that time your
application wasn’t reviewed until 11/5, when they requested additional
documentation on the inverter specified for your project. We responded
immediately and received the approved permit on 11/10. System
installation began on 11/and passed city inspection on 11/25.
Permission to Operate (PTO) has been requested from Southern California Edison
(SCE) and is expected to be granted in January (the PTO timeline is set by SCE,
of which we have no control after application)
As you are aware your project involves two separate finance
programs. Many installers can’t/won’t offer the combination of benefits
associated with a third party prepaid lease coupled with the HERO program due
to the complexity and timing challenges. In your case funds were indeed
electronically received on Friday 12/5, but not reconciled until the following
Monday 12/
The placards that were not secured properly to their
surface, and roof tiles damaged during installation, were both corrected
shortly after being reported. The one remaining roof tile we agreed to
take care of at no cost
In the end, the project is has taken longer than expected
and you have been inconvenienced- again you have my sincerest apologies.
Your recent conversation with our project coordinator appears to be an
acceptable resolution to you If you have any additional comments or

They painted EVERYTHING! We were skeptical about solar but when my dad explained to me that his best friend had vetted TEN other companies and settled on Baker I encouraged my husband to speak to themWe had the good fortune to work with *** ***He made the process easy to understand and explained the pros and cons regarding leasing vs buyingWe chose to leaseThe install was seamless and quite easyThey did all the work including PAINTING the pipes, etc on the side of our house so that they're barely noticeableI absolutely thought we'd be doing the painting and was dreading itI have neighbors who had used other companies (neighbors, different companies) who have white pipes running up the sides of their houses and it's quite an eye sore especially the houses that have dark paintI have NO problem recommending Baker to my friends and anyone who asksWe had one issue and that was resolved the next morning!
