to cancel their planned vacation. We offer our clients the option to
purchase the Total Vacation Security Plan with the travel certificates
back feature or the cash back feature. **and

the travel certificates back feature. This is explained on our website
under the AV-0K Total Vacation Security Plan information as follows:Travel Certificate Programs: When a
cancellation is made during a penalty period, your cancellation penalty
will be refunded in Apple Vacations' travel certificates (redeemable
through the original booking agency), with the balance of the refund made in
the original form of payment less the non-refundable plan paymentApple
Vacations travel certificates may be used like cash when purchasing an Apple
Vacation, are valid for one year, are non-refundable and non-transferable
(issued only in the name of the passenger who cancelled) and may not be
redeemed for cash.The travel certificates, in the amount of $each,
were issued January with an expiration date of January 2015.In February **and ***’s travel agent
contacted Apple Vacations requesting to use the travel certificates.
Since they had expired January she was advised they were no longer valid.Unfortunately since the travel certificates have expired

inquiry regarding [redacted].Apple Vacations did receive [redacted]’ email of August 29,
2016 requesting a name change for the [redacted] certificate issued to Dwayne
Nunley.  We replied to [redacted] on
August...

30, 2016 advising the requirements needed to submit a name change
request.  That is we needed a notarized
letter from [redacted] requesting the name change.  This is required since while the booking
shows the payment made by [redacted], Apple Vacations does not know if [redacted] may have reimbursed [redacted] for his portion of the booking.  Apple Vacations received [redacted]’ email of September 06,
2016 which included the notarized letter from [redacted].  At that time the request was assigned to be
worked on in the order of claims received.[redacted] called Apple Vacations on September 12, 2016
inquiring about her request and she was advised that we had received it and it
was being worked on.  She was also
advised that since payment was due on her vacation she needed to pay and then
once the name change request was approved the certificate would be applied and
any over payment would be refunded to her credit card.  This is standard policy.  [redacted] was not satisfied with this reply so I spoke with
her and explained that she would receive a credit to her credit card once the
certificate was applied but we needed to wait for the approval.  At that time [redacted] seemed satisfied with

My first complaint is my father, [redacted] NEVER received his information. Invoice, documents or the Travel Protection Plan, from the Travel agent, as Ms. Betsy B[redacted] stated.As I did state in my complaint. Again, When I called, the travel agent we worked with stated " we only send them out as a courtesy ". So she emailed me proof of his ticket, and later a "snippet" of his Ins. coverage. Please see attached.Second, my father was admitted to the hospital in the evening, we still had no idea what to do. YES, we knew about his Insurance but NO information was emailed or mailed to him. So I had to wait until Ivan the resort representative came in the next morning.Which was also the day we were supposed to leave. Ivan did everything he could.  He called his Supervisor, Received phone number for [redacted] and got us another hotel  . As I was sitting there with him while he was speaking to her, with the phone in his hand, he said " My supervisor said don't worry, we will hold your tickets" they then ended their conversation. He said we will keep in contact.   So WHY did we have to pay for our tickets again??   And why did insurance reimburse Oncall /[redacted] instead of us for the tickets?We should NOT have to pay ticket costs twice!If staff from Apple Vacations lie to their customers all the time, then this is something that needs to be dealt with!The last attachment was all the phone numbers  and different people I had to deal with, while at the same time moving to a different hotel and making sure my dad would be ok.I have NEVER been through such a horrible experience in my life!Even my vacation trip before this one, I ended up in the hospital and couldn't finish my trip, BUT my travel agent and Ins. carrier took care of everything, I didn't have to worry about anything.I am looking for an apology and reimbursement of ticket charges.

I am rejecting this response because, the reason I did not allow them to check my room is because I was on travel alone during this trip anti felt extremely uncomfortable allowing 4 men come into my room after midnight, with me being the only female in there I didn't feel comfortable. I asked if only 2 of them could search my room and I was rudely told no. We all have heard of stories of women being raped while being on vacation in places like this and I surely didn't want this to happen to me. The very next morning I went back to the front desk and told them what happened and my room was checked my a young lady and one security guard to which they discovered that the balcony door was in fact broke. I have pics to support this and have posted them on various travel website

[redacted] with the loss of her [redacted].Apple
Vacations has contacted the hotel and has advised the following:On
the 7th of June she went to the front desk around 11:30pm to report a stolen [redacted] from her...

room 4029
(Superior Garden view room, 2 double beds, ground floor in a very
quiet area). Almost 20
minutes after,
the night manager and a Security’s dept. Supervisor went to the
room to check and follow the lost items procedure in which they must
verify the reported item is not just missing somewhere in the room.
The lady said she couldn’t let them in to the room at that time of
the night and if she let one of them check she’d record with her
camera. This kind of procedures must be followed for the 2
responsible staff members available at that time, so they decided to
do it the next day.The
next morning around 10:30pm she went back to the guest services desk
and at that time they (Guest Services Agent, Security’s Supervisor
and Ms. [redacted]) went to the room and completed the process confirming
there wasn’t any [redacted] in the room and didn’t want or didn’t
have time left for making a statement in the police station.We
follow a very strict record from all our guest’s requests and
complaints during their vacations, just to make sure our guests
receive a very good service, we don’t have any report from Ms.
[redacted] about malfunctioning entrances to the room during her 3 nights
in the resort.We
suggest to our guests using the safety deposit box during their stay
because the hotel is not responsible for lost items in the rooms left
out of the safe and she rented it for the whole stay.It
is very regretful Ms. [redacted] mentioned her [redacted] was stolen from the
room but due to the circumstances explained above we can’t accept

Apple Vacations has received your inquiry regarding [redacted] honeymoon. [redacted]...

booked the Junior Suite Run of House (ROH) all inclusive room category at the [redacted]. A copy of the room information as shown on the applevacations.com website is attached. They requested a king bed and this request was noted on their booking and submitted to the hotel. It is a request and not guaranteed. The request is subject to availability by the hotel upon check-in.A copy showing the request on the booking and a copy of the manifest sent to the hotel showing this request is attached. Since [redacted] were honeymooners the hotel upgraded their room accommodations to Partial Ocean View, but unfortunately there were no king bedded rooms available in this category either. We regret that the hotel was not able to provide the king bed for [redacted]. The online form submitted by [redacted] was received by Apple Vacations on 4/15/2015 while they were still in resort and was forwarded to the department that handles in resort issues. This department did follow up with the hotel to check on availability for king bedded rooms and unfortunately none were available. We regret the inconveniences that [redacted] encountered with their accommodations as we realize the important significance of a honeymoon but they did receive the accommodations purchased. As a gesture of goodwill Apple Vacations is offering Erin and Scott $100.00 per person vacation certificates which are valid towards another booking with Apple Vacations. Apple Vacations appreciates your consideration of this situation.Sincerely yours,Apple Vacations

of December 30, 2015. [redacted] and [redacted] purchased a 6 Apple Adults Only Square Deal All Inclusive – [redacted]
package.While our Square Deal Adults
Only hotels are just that Adults Only there will be hotels nearby that do
permit children.  As to the beach, there
is a section of the beach reserved for the Adult Only guests but there will be
children on other sections of the beach and in the ocean.Our advertising picture does
show two chairs on a beach but that is only a general advertising picture not
associated with any particular hotel.[redacted] selected the 6
regular Apple Adults Only Square Deal and was upgraded to the 6 Golden Apple
Adults Only hotel.If a client wishes to have a
hotel on the beach then they should select a specific hotel since any of the
Square Deal Hotels, while an exceptional value, are assigned by Apple Vacations
and not selected by the client.As advised in our original
reply the Luxury [redacted] stands in the
middle of the [redacted] Golf Club, surrounded by mangroves, freshwater wells
and the most authentic flora and fauna and is an adults only hotel, it is
separate from the other Bahia hotels that are oriented more towards family.[redacted] and [redacted] did avail
of all 7 nights at the [redacted] Resort, as well as their

  Apple Vacations is in receipt of the Revdex.com’s complaint on behalf of [redacted] and her traveling companions were affected by a flight delay on their return from Cancun on January 14, 2017.  This delay was the result of an ice storm in the St. Louis area which resulted in [redacted] Airlines cancelling the St. Louis to Cancun flight, which was the same aircraft to be used for [redacted]’s return flight Cancun to St. Louis.   As a result of this cancelled [redacted] Airlines flight Apple Vacations “sub-serviced” this return flight to [redacted] in order to get our clients home from Cancun and back to St. Louis.  The flight would not have been given permission to depart Cancun for St. Louis if there were dangerous conditions in St. Louis.   Due to the fact that the [redacted] Airlines’ return flight was cancelled, [redacted] refunded that monies to Apple Vacations.  Apple Vacations used that money to pay for the [redacted] flight that [redacted] and her traveling companions availed of to get home to St. Louis.    Therefore Apple Vacations cannot refund them the requested monies.    Thank you for your consideration of this situation.   Sincerely yours, Apple Vacations   Betsy B[redacted] Betsy B[redacted] Manager, Customer Care Department Apple Vacations 7 Campus Blvd. Newtown Square, PA.  19073 ###-###-#### (Phone)  ###-###-#### (Fax) [redacted]@applevac.com   Tell us why here...

Apple Vacations regrets that [redacted] had an issue during her stay at the [redacted] with the loss of her [redacted]. If it was not possible to obtain a lock for her room safe Ms. [redacted] should have contacted the hotel front desk staff who would have assisted her in securing any valuables. Apple Vacations did follow up with the [redacted] regarding their investigation and as you will note in their reply below they could not carry out their investigation the night of the incident since Ms. [redacted] would not allow both hotel employees into her room.As mentioned below we have a Night Managers Report and the Security’s Supervisors Report both mention the same information that the lady went to the front desk after 11:30 aprox. to tell the night clerk the [redacted] was stolen not missing in her room that night. A few minutes later they (Night Mgr. and Security’s Sup.) went to the room to check if the [redacted] and anything else was missing in the room and the lady said only one could get in and she’d get in record with her camera the procedure. For that reason her room wasn’t checked the same night, the lost items procedure must be followed by the responsible staff members at the moment they get the information.
