your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.** ***,
About a year ago, I contacted the Revdex.com because I purchased some car parts for my mustang from a Company named BangastangMy original order was made over years ago and I paid in full at that timeThere were several delays, and I received some of the parts, however, after more than years, my order has not been fulfilledWhen I contacted the Revdex.com last year, I did receive an additional part a few months later, however, I am still missing a few items that have already been paid for, therefore I am rejecting the companies last response and I would appreciate it if the Revdex.com can contact this company again and ask them to fulfill my original orderPlease let me know if you need any additional information,
Thx,

Hi ***,
As I explained to you in our phone conversation
we were having issues doing the custom paint fill on the lettering using the water borne paintIn the state of California all auto paint shops MUST use water borne which is mandated by the EPA.
We attempted several times to paint the lettering on the Coil Covers in a contrasting color but were not successful. We I informed you that we were not able to do the paint fill for the lettering you told me that you didn't want the coil coversI explained to you the color covers had been painted in Race Red and the ribs were painting in the contracting color of black that you selected
We issued a personal money order from Well Fargo which was sent to you via Fedex expedited shipping, the tracking number was ***
I've also attached a photo of the Money Order that was sent to you

Nature of Complaint:
Delivery Issues - The
non-delivery of products
Problem:
I ordered a part from Bangastang on1/27/14, they deducted $at that timeAfter twenty weeks and numerous calls and emails and no responseI filed a complaint with the Revdex.com on 6/21/Complaint ID ***The next day Hendrix from Bangastang called me and said it would be taken care ofweeks later and I'm back to no status, no one returning emails or phone calls, I'm at my end on this matter, over weeks and still nothing not even a clue if it is being madeHow do you run an operation like this, I can't complain about the communications with this place, because you get noneI am not even sure they have started or I will ever get my part at this time, I have been told two different stories at this time (phones down and painter got paint in his eye), I wouldn't believe anything they would sayThese two excuses are why you cant get a part out in weeks, oh ya they are really busy, not my problemits a fiberglass radiator cover, should have had it made someplace else

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below*It took Bangastang letters from the Revdex.com and weeks time to make their insulting and condescending replyI am replying in day and have defined my terms and the conclusion of this emailThank you sincerely for your kind attention to this unfortunate issue
BANGASTANG SAID:
Mr*** there are several facts that are missing in your statement. You purchased a Radiator Cover during the month of December which is a very busy time for us due to Christmas shopping. Because of this busy time we only provide our customers with a estimated window of when their order may ship. Any custom order that is placed during the month of December more than likely will not be ready by Christmas due to the volume of orders that we receive. Many of our customers tend to be overly anxious when ordering our custom parts and anticipate them arriving in a few days. Our turnaround policy is clearly posted on our website and states our "Turnaround Time" are only estimates and NOT guarantees of delivery times. Again you ordered a custom part that had to be made and painted for your vehicleOur Radiator Covers are not over the shelf items
MY RESPONSE:
I was told by *** "you may receive the item before Christmas"IMO that created hopeI understand their concept of "custom parts = unpredictable delivery times"Regardless, I didn't receive the defective Painted Radiator Cover until the first week of April2014!
BANGASTANG SAID:
Upon delivery of your Radiator Cover via Fedex, we did not receive communication for several days. Once we did receive communication we promptly responded via phone in our phone conversation you stated that you replied to automated email which is sent all of our customers. That email clearly reads in bold print "PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL. THIS IS A NON-REPLY EMAIL ADDRESS." When I spoke to you on the phone you stated that you had replied to the automated email which is not the correct email for communication
In our phone conversation you informed us that you felt there were some imperfections in the paint. We agreed to pay for the return shipping and would examine the Radiator Cover for any imperfections. Upon returned delivery we examined the Radiator Cover and saw some minute imperfections and agreed to repaint the Radiator Cover as I told you we would in our phone conversation The Radiator Cover was repainted in days and ready to ship. I called and left several messages on your office phone and cell phone but never received a reply for over a week.
MY RESPONSE:
I emailed and called them within two days of receipt to inform them that the Painted Radiator Cover was defectiveThe reason I waited was because I debated keeping the partKnowing how long it took to originally receive it and how long it would take Bangastang to correct it - if at allHowever, since one thing resinated very well in my mind, they said "we don't ship our parts unless they're perfect" so I informed them of my dissatisfaction and they offered to repair itBangastang provided a FedEx return label and it took another week for them to receive it. I made it very clear on a written note inside the package not to proceed until they contacted meI wanted to know how long it would really take as well as discuss the details of their paint work. They didn't respond until I attempted to call several timesThey claimed not to have seen the note (whack was taped to the top of the product) and said "it's already done", which may or may not be trueThis process took two weeks not because I didn't call them but because they manufactured a bad product to begin with and hid behind missing phone calls and emails to buy more time
BANGASTANG SAID:
When I did hear from you via phone you stated that you had no longer wanted the custom Radiator Cover because you had missed in your words "several car shows". What is confusing is our custom Radiator Covers is a cosmetic part that does not stop you from driving your vehicle, it's an aftermarket appearance part that replaces your OEM Radiator Cover. Rather you decide to attend or abstain from attending a car show is your choice and our custom Radiator Cover in NO WAY stops your vehicle from running it's strictly an appearance upgrade. In addition your Radiator Cover was ready to ship in mid April but we received no return communication from you for over one week. We're quite aware of the car show season and when it starts and in mid April in Pennsylvania we're certain that there are many car shows throughout the summer. In fact last week (June 5-7) was the Ford Carlisle show which is one of the biggest Ford shows in the country with over two thousands Ford vehicles in attendance. Two of our customers won second place trophies at the Carlisle show, one owns a Bullitt Mustang while the other has a Shelby GTwith several of our parts on there cars. All of them have our custom Radiator Covers and were patient enough to wait for a custom part.As a car enthusiasts do you buy custom made parts to use just one time for one show? It's kind of like buying underwear, do you wear it one time then throw it away?
MY RESPONSE:
I find this information to be irrelevant, condescending, and insultingI'm the customer, they had no problem taking my money the second the transaction took place, and in the end under deliveredIf I want to hang their part on a Christmas tree, use one as a sled, or install them properly on my vehicle what does it matter! I've waited over months for a part that they implied I'd have before ChristmasAgain, they are hiding behind their poor business practices. Since April of this year it is a fact that I was told twice by *** that I would be issued a refund "next week"
To address one topic above, I happened to attend that Ford Event in Carlisle, PA on June 7, I saw their productsMany more cars won trophies that didn't haver their products and vendors communicated to me their not-so positive opinion of BangastangGoogle "Bangastang" and read some of the not-so-positive experiences their customers also shareI for one have not yet gone to social media or forums to express my dissatisfaction with Bangastang and have tried tens of times to professionally resolve this issue before requesting assistance from the Revdex.com
BANGASTANG SAID:
You're asking for a refund of $we don't agree and here's why. As per phone conversation we agreed to repaint the Radiator Cover and pay for the return shipping which we did. After we repainted your Radiator Cover we called and left several messages on your office phone as well as cell phone but received NO reply. We recall receiving many emails from you requesting status updates of your custom order but when you tried to contact you we heard nothing. Obviously this is a matter of you being upset over in your words "missing a car show". You received a set of billet shock tower covers from us on 12/9/this is now months later and you're requesting a refund. Our return policy is days from the date of receiving the item. Our custom parts are made upon order and we don't offer refunds on custom made parts. We will not take a return on the Shock Tower Covers after months. I will agree to give a partial refund for the cost of the Radiator Cover minus the 20% restocking fee. We held up our part of the deal but didn't want your Radiator Cover because as you stated "I missed several car shows" in early April.
MY RESPONSE:
If they read their emails they would read that I admittedly made a mistake on the requested refundThey are correct that the initial charge of $is for two items and there should not be a refund of that amount (Revdex.com's website does not permit edits to claims)Their defective Painted Radiator Cover was $and that is the amount I was requesting to be refundedI am not upset at "missing a car show" as they sayAgain, condescendingHowever, I am upset that they simply have not and will not issue a refund and now hang up when I call
BANGASTANG SAID:
We do have a request for you, the money that is refunded to you we ask that you donate the money to a charity or a needy family. Missing a car show is nothing when people in this country are going without food, medication, shelter and basic needs. Our war veterans need help BAD maybe missing a FEW car shows and volunteering to help the needy may give you a broader vision of what's going on in this world. We often hear "Ive got a car show can't you speed it up". We've become a country that has a drive thru mentality....can't wait
MY RESPONSE AND CONCLUSION
Who is Bangastang to lecture me or any customer on charity and volunteering? I own a business and I honor my commitmentsI'd be willing to show them how to set up their own 501c- if they're indeed qualifiedTen-percent of ALL of our income, before salaries and expenses happens to go to charityHow about Bangastang?
As I've said several times in emails and phone calls Bangastang needs to refund my money If that "perfect" part that's "already been repainted" is finished as they claim then at this point fine, send it I'll expect to receive either "next week"Thank you

We have contacted the purchaser and informed him that his order will be completed and shipped to him.  Due to the volume of orders for custom parts our turnaround time has been longer.

Due to our back log of custom orders and some information that was lost in our system there was some confusion in orders.  This order is complete and ready to ship a tracking number will be provided within 24 hours.  Sorry for the delay.

I hope that this gets to the right person.  Bangastang did contact us about 3 weeks ago, August 13th.  Below are the contents...

of their email.

Hi [redacted],
We're sorry for the delay in production, this is the peak time of year for orders.  Your Radiator Cover is in the painting stage and we hope to have it ready for shipment later this week.  We'll send you a tracking number when it ships.

As you can guess we have heard nothing from them since and we still have not received anything from them.  I am hoping that you can do more than just send a letter.  They have had our money for 6 months now.  This kind of service is unacceptable.

Thank you,
[redacted]

Review: I placed an order for approximately $1,100 in car parts and paid up front. The order was placed on May 3rd, 2013.

I was initially promised that I would have my order before July 1st, and when nothing showed up, I tried to contact the owner several times, but no luck.

When I finally spoke with the owner in Sept, I asked to cancel the order and to receive a full refund. He apologized and said that my order was missed when they moved locations, and that he would process it right away and that I would have my parts in a few weeks. He also promised to send me a cheque for $200 to make up for the problems that I had experienced. I agreed to proceed with the order as he seemed sincere and was trying to make things right by offering me a discount on the parts that I had already paid for.

Near the end of Oct, I received an e-mail saying that my parts were shipped out. When I received the parts, there were only two small items in there, which were the smallest/cheapest parts.

I contacted FedEx to ensure that they did not misplace a package, and they assured me that they only picked up one small box from the vendor.

I then had to try and contact the business again, but this time, they contracted a company to handle their phone calls. I left dozens of messages with this call center and they assured me that my messages were being passed along, but nobody called me back.

Finally, I threatened to contact the Revdex.com and to look into legal action, and somebody contacted me after that message was passed along. Again they weren't sure why my order wasn't fulfilled, but they assured me that the rest of my parts would be sent out shortly and that my cheque for the $200 would be in the mail by that Friday.

I received an e-mail in early DEC stating that my parts were shipped. When they arrived, I was still missing some items and there was no cheque in the package either.

For the past 3 months, I've been leaving messages, sending e-mails and trying to contact the vendor, but nobody ever responds to my inquires, so I'm forced to try another method, which is was I'm reaching out to the Revdex.com for assistance.Desired Settlement: It's been 11 months since I placed my order and I'm still missing some of the parts that I paid for along with the $200 refund that was promised to me.

I would still like to receive the parts that I paid for and I'm not looking for a full refund, but I have had no luck contacting this business and I would just like to close the books on this painful business transaction once and for all.

Thank you,

Business

Review: In November of 2013. I ordered from bangastang red coil covers for my Christmas present in April still no product, called bangastang to cancel because the product never came wanted my credit card credited back the money they told me it was to late to credit the card so they would send a check nothing has happened and no one has called to make this right. This started in nov for a Christmas present it is now may 18 of 2014 7 months later what a terrible buisnessDesired Settlement: Want my money back .

Review: I ordered a Mustang shift knob about 3 weeks ago and haven't heard from them yet. No response to emails or phone calls. Terrible customer service. Order # from Bangastang (#[redacted]) I would really appreciate if you could please do something about it........THANKS !!Desired Settlement: I'd like a full refund.

Business

Response:

You placed an order on our website for a Shift Knob that was marked "OUT OF STOCK" but you still placed the order, then wondering why it was not shipped. Through emails sent we informed you that we could find a Shift Knob that was similar to the one that was requested, that product is custom made upon order and takes 2-4 weeks to make which we informed you as well. On May 9th, your Shift Knob was shipped tracking number [redacted] and delivered on May13th.

Unfortunately we have a large volume of customers that DO NOT read descriptions on our website that are printed in BASIC English and BOLD print.

To file a complaint with the Revdex.com due to your failure to READ a product description is pretty bogus.

Before you make any future purchases on the internet we strongly suggest that you read the product description as well as company policy.
