Review: On March 26, 2013 placed an order for GT500 Radiator cover with no delivery of this product after paying $808.68 for order #[redacted]. My last contact was with James on 2/7/14 in which he told me about delays in production and that I would get my product in about a month which would be a year since I had placed my order. I have tried since then several times to contact anyone by phone and email with no luck. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced!! There are many other places to purchase Mustang parts so you would think they would have better customer service! This is posted in red on the custom radiator cover that I ordered. It says 3-6 weeks or more but nothing about a year and a half!

ALL BANGASTANG RADIATOR COVERS ARE CUSTOM MADE TO ORDER THERE IS AN ESTIMATED 3-6 WEEKS FOR PRODUCTION AND TURNAROUND TIME. TURNAROUND TIME COULD BE MORE DEPENDING UPON SEASON AND DEMAND. Review: August 2013 I ordered and paid roughly $600 in full for a carbon fiber roof cover. [redacted] told me that it would take approx. 8-12 weeks since it is a custom part that needs to be made and then shipped. No problem, I'll wait. (Since it is a 100% custom part it needed to be paid in full).

Around November 2013 I called to follow up and they said that they're supplier had been swamped because of SEMA. No problem, I'm a patient person... it's not a part for function so I'll wait.

February 11, 2014 I called + Emailed and requested a refund. The polite gentleman who answered the phone, ([redacted]), said that they will get the roof cover within 10 days and ship it to my house free of charge. Not happy, but okay I'll wait.

March 3, 2014 I called + Emailed to again request a refund because it was obvious that this order was not going to happen. No response.

April 1, 2014 I called and spoke with [redacted] again who was apologetic and said that he will request a refund check to be sent.

Mid April 2014 I called to follow up and again [redacted] said that he didn't know why the refund wasn't processed and he will request the refund to be sent again.

May 7, 2014 I called & Emailed to make a final request to just refund my money and part ways or I would be forced to file a small claims lawsuit. No response.

I'm hoping that either [redacted] or [redacted] will research my order #[redacted], and refund my money to avoid court.Desired Settlement: I want my money back.

Review: I Placed an Order with Bangastang on 4/13/13 and 7/2/13 that I have still not received it . They don't answer e-mails and all there phone numbers are not active .

I have tried to be a patient as I can be knowing that they have moved locations but 8 months later and with no kind of communication from them I have no choice but to take every action in my power to get my money back .Desired Settlement: I just want my money back which is over $1700.

Review: I ordered a Radiator Cover back on 1/27/2014, they clearly state 3-6 weeks and it could be longer on special orders. It is 21 weeks later and I can not get a reply on my order status. I have sent and saved 18 emails since week 8 and have received 1 reply on 5/11/14 below:

It is now 6/21/14, they by their own admission (above) BangaStang was to status it the next day, it is now six weeks later and I have no part or information. The only thing they did quickly was hit my credit card for $515.00 on 1/27/14. I wanted the part for the car show season and that is why I actually started this process back in 12/5/13 first contact, season will be over and no cover. What I find more troubling is the companies total disregard for the responsibility to the customers that rely on it. They are still sending me advertisements for the Cover, with the same 3-6 week teaser followed by the disclaimer it could take longer. Why would you continue to advertise something you know is not right (dissipative advertising ) at best.Desired Settlement: They have the responsibility to keep customers informed and live up to written and verbal contracts. To leave their responsibilities open ended as they do is the worst business model I have ever seen. I want my part or a full refund, using my money for 21 weeks free of charge is my own stupidity.

Delivery Issues - The non-delivery of products

Problem:

I ordered a part from Bangastang on1/27/14, they deducted $515.00 at that time. After twenty weeks and numerous calls and emails and no response. I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com on 6/21/14 Complaint ID [redacted]. The next day Hendrix from Bangastang called me and said it would be taken care of. 14 weeks later and I'm back to no status, no one returning emails or phone calls, I'm at my end on this matter, over 34 weeks and still nothing not even a clue if it is being made. How do you run an operation like this, I can't complain about the communications with this place, because you get none. I am not even sure they have started or I will ever get my part at this time, I have been told two different stories at this time (phones down and painter got paint in his eye), I wouldn't believe anything they would say. These two excuses are why you cant get a part out in 34 weeks, oh ya they are really busy, not my problem. its a fiberglass radiator cover, should have had it made someplace else.

I responded I did not order a car cover...No response back almost 3 weeks ago this time...I have requested my money be refunded both on email and at there message center (that noone ever answers) I have since cancelled the credit card that was used for the purchase and have requested a refund sent to my ship to address....No response again...I told them I no longer want to deal with them and I no longer want the merchandise. Review: Order placed with Bangastang on 5/23/2013 - order # [redacted] for a radiator . At that time, delivery time was mentioned as being 4 to 6 weeks. As of today 9/26, I still haven't received the order and have no information on when I will receive it. I have called many times and left messages and never received a call back. Review: Ordered 2 items on Dec.4/14, according to their website, as custom painting was involved, it could take 6 - 8 weeks delivery. Review: On 3/24/14 I placed an order with Bangastang for a Painted Boss 302 radiator cover. I was aware there would be at least a 3-6 week lead time. I never received the product, so on 6/30/14 I emailed Bangastang via their status email: [email protected]. Review: In March of this year I made an online purchase with this company. The item was a custom radiator cover for a Mustang Shelby GT500. Being that it was a custom piece I was told that it would take some time before I would receive it. I was told that they don't give a time frame because it can vary depending on backlog. In June of this year I called the company to see how much longer it would be before I would receive my purchase and was told that my name was still on the board but they still couldn't give me an answer. On 9/23/13 I sent an inquiry for the same information via e-mail [email protected]. There site states to give them 2-3 business days to respond. I still haven't heard from them. On 9/30/13 I called the number listed at the bottom of their site 866-477-1073 which is no longer in service and I called the number on their contact page 858-496-0006 and I got no answer, just rings. On 3/22/13 bangastang charged my credit card $495.00 for the radiator cover and to this day I have not received it.Desired Settlement: To receive the item that I purchased in top quality condition.

Review: I ordered a custom red colored radiator cover for a GT500 on Dec 28, 2013. After several months of patiently waiting, I called to check on the order. It took 7 phone calls and 2 voicemails before I was able to reach anyone (no one ever did return the voicemails). I was told it would be shipped soon. 2 months go by and I begin to see the operation for what it is. Again it takes me multiple days to reach them via phone and I am told they had to re-tool the machine that makes the item and it may take some time. Around August or September I leave a message on their voicemail requesting a refund (because once again no one can ever be reached via phone). A week or two goes by and no return call… no email… no credit card credit. Again, I begin the song dance of trying to contact them to actually talk to someone. The man who finally answered very briefly apologized and told me it had been too long to credit the card and they must therefore send a check. I received the official order cancelation (#[redacted]) email the following day on Sept 22, 2014. No check came (keep in mind I have a locked mailbox that only I have a key for). So I sent them reply emails to the cancelation ([email protected]), one on Oct 17 and got NO reply. I send another on Oct 21 and Oct 22… still NO REPLY as of Oct 24. I switched to email because I wanted to be able to start documenting bangastang’s disregard of customers and their lack of ethics in general.

I didn’t receive the item, a refund or even a single proactive communication about the item for over TEN MONTHS - that’s the type of experience you’ll likely get when dealing with this “company”. I have purchased 100’s of Mustang parts over the last 15 years and this is the first negative comment I have ever taken the time to write. I would not do business with this company even if I was offered an 80% discount off their retail pricing - that’s how unreliable they are, not to mention how poorly and unprofessionally they treat their customers.Desired Settlement: Refund and apology.

Review: Placed order on 11/18/12 and recieved all items except for a custom leather shift boot and e brake boot item #[redacted]. On 3/6/13 I spoke with Hendrix the GM about these items and he stated there were problems with the manufacturer producing these items to their standards and they would send the work out to another manufacturer to complete the leather goods. He also added that I should have them within the month. On 4/26/13 I sent an email again since I didn't get these items and the reply was that I should have the items by the end of the week. Now on 6/4/13 I have sent additional emails and called several times to check the status of the missing items and an additional order and you can't leave a message when you call their number and there is no response to my emails about the orders. I question the ability of them to fulfill my order and provide the items I have ordered. There are many companies that provide Mustang parts so you would think they would care a little more about their customer service. Please understand that besides basic paint, your product must also be custom airbrushed. As stated on our website we can only give estimated of delivery times but not guarantees of delivery.

I ordered a radiator cover from Bangastang on March 22, 2013. My credit card was charged on March 23.

It is July 17, 2013 which is 118 days and I still do not have my part.

I have sent several email, two were returned, 18 phone calls, of which only 2 have been returned. Phone calls, go to voicemail and the mail box is usually full. It would appear that since the mailbox is usually full, Bangastang has an inordinate number of consumers calling and leaving messages; I wonder how many calls are similar to mine?

I HAVE spoken with Bangastang owner Hendrix Nowells on three occasions, June 28, July 1 and July 9, and he gave me reasons why my part has not been shipped. He also gave me reassurances that I WOULD get my part. The last call I had with him on July 9, he said he would call me back the next day but I never heard from him.

I realize that my part requires custom painting but I also know that this particular part should not take over a 100 days to complete. I could see 30-60 days turnaround, but 118 days is unacceptable. I believe that Bangastang is more concerned with their local customers and other projects. Bangastang posts frequently on Facebook, touting various restoration projects, custom cars , as well as parts for sale yet they have not taken care of my order.

It would appear that Mr. Nowells needs to hire someone to manage customer phone calls. It would appear that Mr. Nowells needs to hire more employees to fulfill customer orders. It would appear that Mr. Nowells needs to update his internet business practices so that his customers get products in a timely fashion.

I am turning to the Revdex.com for a fair and fast resolution to my concerns.

To clarify a few things we receive a great deal of phone calls for orders and updates on custom products, sometimes more than we can handle. Because I'm involved with so many projects my time is limited, the demand for speaking to me is very high. I do my best to return calls but I sometimes fall short.

In regards to our Facebook page we use it to promote our products, projects and inform our customers of sales. Our Facebook page is not used to update customers on their orders or provide them with photos or video of their orders being made. Some people assume that our Facebook page is a source for status reports of orders that they've placed with us, it is not.

Our Custom Radiator Covers continue to be in high demand and during the spring and summer months our orders are high.

As stated on our website our turnaround time is based on demand. When we experience a high volume of orders turnaround time will increase; this is stated on our website in bold print. Unfortunately many people never take the time to read product descriptions or company policies and make assumptions. One of the issues that we encounter is the car show enthusiasts that places an order for a custom painted part and expects to have it in time for their upcoming car show. We receive countless phone calls and emails requesting that we speed up their order so they can have their product in time for a show. If our turnaround time was based on meeting a customers deadline for a car show our quality would be sub-par.

Due to several issues that we were having with our location we made the choice to move to a new location that will better accommodate our business and customers.

In your letter you mentioned that "Bangastang is more concerned with their local customers and other projects" that statement is far from the truth we are concerned with all of our customers.

We had every intention to deliver your order to you however when I spoke to you via phone you informed me that you no longer wanted the Radiator Cover.

Again we apologize for the this incident..

Review: I ordered a painted plenum cover on 04/01/14, I have not heard back from the company since then. I have tried calling and emailing customer support to get an update, I was instantly charged for my product and it has not even been shipped. I don't agree with BangaStang not replying to m emails and calls, I just would like an update on my order and a time frame as to when I will receive my product.Desired Settlement: I would just like an update, the customer service is horrible.

CUSTOM PAINTED UPON ORDER, ESTIMATED 2-4 WEEK TURNAROUND FOR PAINTING. TURNAROUND TIME CAN EXTEND DEPENDING ON SEASON AND DEMAND.

All of our painted parts are custom painted upon order and are not shipped upon order. Unfortunately you didn't take the time to read the description and assumed your order will ship immediately. Also before you can place an order on our website you must check off on our Policy Agreement which states the following:

CUSTOM ORDERS

Products that are painted upon order or modified are considered Custom Orders. All custom orders must be prepaid in advance. There are NO REFUNDS ON CUSTOM ORDERS. A customer may receive a store credit but REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED FOR CUSTOM ORDERS. Products that are painted upon order or modified to fit are considered custom orders.

Any order changes to custom orders can result in completion delays and additional charges based upon the request.

All custom painted parts are prepaid upon order.

For status updates for your order you should contact the Status Department and not Tech Support. The Tech Support Department is only used for assisting our customers in installation of products not status.

We we closed the entire week of April 13th while we attended the 50th Anniversary Mustang show in Las Vegas, this has pushed back our production. We expect your order to be completed in 5-10 days.

Review: I have been trying to get a refund from Bangastang for a product they failed to deliver since 10 Oct 2013 (the product was originally purchased 16 May 2013. I have emailed 18 times (never receiving a response) and called so many times I have lost count and have not had a phone call returned. I finally got ahold of someone two weeks ago and was told that my refund was put in the mail (as it has been too long so it can't be refunded onto my credit card) but I have yet to see anything indicating that the refund was actually put in the mail, Bangastand was supposed to email me a USPS tracking number for the refund so I could be sure it had been mailed. I have called several times in the last couple of days trying to find out where my money is as we no longer want the product as I do not want to deal with this company ever again and no one answers the phone or returns phone calls.Desired Settlement: I just want my money back as the product was never delivered.

Review: Ordered a custom painted radiator cover back in DEC 2013. So far have yet to receive the order after 14 months. Custom painted parts might take a little longer than usual but over a year!!! After doing online investigation come to find out they have ripped other people off with the same tactics. No way in there website does it state clearly that it takes longer for a custom painted part but over a year, it's unacceptable. When we ordered it said delivery in 6 WEEKS!!!!!!
