Bar Crawl Unlimited

On June 18th I paid $36.54 for the Margarita Pub Crawl held in Madison, WI on September 21st. This event was cancelled on September 20th. I was sent an email saying they are processing my request and haven't received any refund. I have contacted them since and have heard no reply. I am quite frustrated.

Scam! No communication, not as promised! Can’t get a refund! Do not give them your money!

Purchased tickets for Margarita Crawl in Madison, WI for 9/21/2019. Company has not responded to multiple attempts to find out information. Company has claimed all information will be posted within 72 hours of event. Now on 9/19, still no information has been given. I would like my refund and have been denied. Company has not delivered as promised.

They post for Bar Crawls all over United States on Facebook and state the bars will be posted soon and get your tickets “now” and then never post them! They have a history of doing this! This time I and my friends were the victims of the Madison, Wisconsin crawl. I contacted Bar Crawl Unlimited and they wouldn’t give me my money back and said I could use it for a future crawl. What future crawl? Like the one they said they were having but lied about? Just look at all the comments from multiple crawls there isn’t any positive!

False advertising. Advertised bars that had to come out and state that they were not apart of the pub crawl. Extremely low quality food, along with no party favors that were stated would be at the opening of the venue. Cheap bar crawl that sold themselves as a taco crawl. They sold frozen mini tacos. It was an absolute sham. They basically charged us money for nothing in return. Spent $40 and got nothing out of their advertised bar crawl.

Total waste of money! A $20 ticket to the Margarita Crawl Denver got you a paper wrist band that got you nothing. The bars were not well selected and didn't seem to know they were participating. Denver has great places for margaritas but they weren't on the "crawl". DO NOT fall for this scam. It should have been a clue that there are no comments on their Facebook page- that's because they scrub all the negative ones, and that's all they get.

I bought two tickets, one for myself and one for my boyfriend, to the Margarita Crawl in Detroit, MI. The tickets were to include swag, entry to several bars, and discounted food and drink only available to people who had bought the wrist bands to the bar crawl. The bars were either open but not offering any special discounts for wristband wearers, or were closed, or were unaware of the bar crawl and therefore had no specials to offer, essentially meaning the money spent on the wristbands was a scam.

Scam...do not trust! Paid $25 for Margarita Crawl tickets in Detroit aug 31, 2019. Arrived at Registration venue during times 2-4pm. Waited an hour in line to obtain wristband. Then walked to one of the venues on list (only 4 listed of of 5+ stated would be available on ticket page). We were turned away from first venue stating they didn’t agree to participate. Walked to second venue and they also said they did not agree to participate. Then got Facebook message at 6pm from company said that check in venue would honor discount prices but were closed until 8pm. So basically paid money for a crawl that we got NOTHING out of. Do NOT trust. Complete and utter disaster and waste of time/money. You can pub crawl your own city without buying a ticket.

We purchased tickets for the Taco and Beer crawl in Minneapolis, MN on 8/24. Tickets were $23 general admission or $34 for VIP which was to include tacos. It was advertised that there would be t-shirts, coozies and swag. The tacos in the cover photo looked amazing.
We purchased the VIP. We got there and the swag was plastic leis, plastic sunglasses & mardi gras beads and there were no t-shirts. The only tacos that were included were at the first bar we checked in at and they were 4 little mini tacos like you would find as an appetizer at a bowling alley. The drink specials were handed out to anyone whether they had a wristband or not. So, we could have participated in the so called crawl for free. This whole experience was awful and I didn't find one person partaking in it that was happy. This was for my sister's bachelorette party so it was very disappointing and a lot of wasted money was spent.

The event advertised 4 tacos, a tshirt, and a huggie. We recieved none of those at the event.

Advertised a Margarita Crawl in St Louis on 8/17/19. Tickets were available for purchase months in advance. First Venue was Soulard at a Bar called Tin Roof. A few weeks before the event the venue was changed to BallPark Village. Ticket advertised drink specials at each bar. Upon arrival you waited in a line to enter. and received an armband for drink specials. Yet once you were in the venue anyone including those who did not get the tickets received the specials. Bartenders were NOT aware of any bar crawl or tickets sold to enter venues. Completely false advertising

If I could leave zero stars I would. Lets start with the fact this business false advertises events. Misleads people into purchasing tickets, and does not deliver the service they advertised. Pretty much takes people's money and runs. We attended a Margarita Crawl in Chattanooga, TN they held on 8/24/19. For $20 a ticket, they advertised 5+ venues with great food and drink specials, and for the first 100 people to register would receive "swag bags." At the host restaurant no swag bags were given, only cheap beaded necklaces. There were only 4 venues that were "participating". We realized that 2 of the 4 venues did not even know they were apart of this crawl. Therefore, they were underprepared, understaffed, and had no clue on specials. 1 of the 4 venues opened at the last 2 hours of the event, and only served beer. (I'm not a beer drinker). Due to the misleading information of the company and lack of communication with the "participating" restaurants, we were only able to receive service at 1 of the 4 restaurants. I have tried multiple ways into contacting this company with zero replies. I publicly commented on the event page, and the company deleted my comment and blocked me from all of their pages. My IT boyfriend tracked down the address of this company and it is a "virtual office"; therefore, there is no physical office or establishment. This company is complete scam, please beware before purchasing any tickets!

Huge SCAM! They have you purchase a ticket and promise drink tickets and a swag bag. Turns out anyone can enter the venue and get the specials. Basically you pay them $20 to walk in a bar when you could have done it for free

I bought a general admission ticket to the Bar Crawl St. Louis. I ended up not attending but am wondering what my $20 entry fee paid for- the wristband was supposed to get me discounted drinks all night, but at every bar, they were selling the discounted drinks to everyone, not just those with a wristband.

I also have screenshots of advertised prices that did not match the prices at the bars. For example, price for Mexican Sunset was listed on event page for $5 but was sold in person for $7. Watered down drinks. No organization. Everyone could get the discounted drinks without having a wristband. This was a huge letdown considering the hype that surrounded the event.

Bar Crawl Unlimited had a Margarita Crawl in St. Louis, MO on August 17, 2019 at 2pm-8pm. They charged $25 for discounted drinks at multiple bars inside a venue the is normally free to enter. I arrived with friends that did not purchase tickets. My friends paid the same amount for drinks that I paid without paying the $25 to Bar Crawl Unlimited. They essentially took money from people and told them they would get discounted drinks the drinks were not discounted everyone paid the same amount for drinks at that venue.

Bar Crawl Unlimited advertised a Margarita Crawl in St. Louis. I have been to numerous organized events within the area. Typically, you get a punch card or wrist band with drinks at each participating location. We bought our tickets for the event, weeks in advance. The event page posted the "specials" about a week or two before the event. The tickets did not come with any sort of drinks other than specials that you buy at the bars. Which you didn't need wristbands to get in, nor did you need for the specials. I saw other patrons getting the same specials without a wristband. This whole event was a disaster and unfortunately looks bad on Ballpark Village and our town, when it's not their fault. This company charged $25 or MORE per person and is going from town to town doing this. After looking them up on FB and seeing past events, it's the same thing. Nothing in return for the admission fee paid and very disorganized.

Paid for the Margarita Bar Crawl in St. Louis. What a huge rip-off! False advertising, poorly organized. We were charged for wristbands that were supposed to allow "swag bag" and drink specials. We were there before the event started and they were already out of "swag," which turned out to be a plastic lei worth 10 cents. The drink specials advertised on the event page did not match in price or ingredients to those given onsite. Only one of the 5 participating bars we went to checked our wristbands. I witnessed others not participating in the bar crawl ordering and getting the "specials." Complete waste of time and money. Thankfully we didn't purchase the VIP tickets!

Bar Crawl Unlimited is a scam! A group of us went to the Charlotte Margarita Crawl in June and it was AWFUL! Waste of $25 which paid for what exactly???? Carolina Ale House didn't have enough servers, and the drinks were priced the same as they usually are at the bars. Anyone could participate without having a ten cent wristband. Disappointed. My comments have been disabled on Facebook so I can no longer inform others of the scam. And I'm still waiting for an email response!

They are also know as Bar Crawl Unlimited. They post bar crawls on Facebook in various cities stating that tickets are limited and will sell out quickly. After all those tickets are sold, they open additional tickets and over sell the event with unrealistic accommodations (ie over 500 tickets sold with only 5 -8 bars committed). A group from my area purchased 42 tickets for a Margarita crawl in New Orleans. A Category 1 hurricane was predicted to hit the area the day of event. They refused to accommodate anyone at first. Then when everyone started complaining, they agreed to transfer our tickets to another event in a different city. Again people continued to complain and they responded with very rude and unprofessional comments. The City was under a State of Emergency and they stated the event was on Rain or Shine. After several other comments/complaints were made regarding safety of patrons, employees ect they opened two events in New Orleans we could transfer our tickets too. They refused to issue any refunds. They started deleting comments being made and blocking people from making post. After the City told them it would be cancelled they posted it was cancelled and offered refunds or ticket transfers. For a refund they requested you send an email. Now they are not responding to emails. I have disputed all charges with my credit card company and have sent them copies of post made by the company. There have been other complaints made to Revdex.com about this company.

Bar Crawl Unlimited is an alternate business alias for Desert Sky Event Planning. Desert Sky Event Planning has a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/desertskyep/ and started advertising an event in St. Louis, Missouri last fall called "Taco Bar Crawl St Louis" scheduled for March 30, 2019.

They posted a lot of items on the event feed and I bought two VIP tickets by square invoice for $87.97 on November 10, 2018. They said it was a rain or shine event.

As the day of the event approached, no additional information was provided about the 6+ bar schedule or any other details. Another business page, Bar Crawl Unlimited, started making posts with ticket sales. Two days before the event, they announced three locations, and when I messaged one of the bars, they said they were not participating in the event.

The morning of the event, they announced it was postponed because of the weather. Then the event was rescheduled again to a date more than 4 months in the future, and it doesn't seem like it will happen.

I requested a refund and they said they sent it but I didn't receive it. I have sent email, Facebook messages, and called on the phone to follow up. I still have not received a response or refund.

I am concerned that the company is creating events and selling tickets with no follow through and taking money from a lot of people. Since the ticket sales are aggressively promoted very far in advance, it is not possible to file for credit card dispute / charge back.

They are aggressively removing comments and posts on the event page.

Bar Crawl Unlimited has created a lot of events https://www.facebook.com/barcrawlunlimited/ and I am concerned they are scamming a huge amount of people across the country.
