My family uses All My Son to move my mother-in-law to her new home [redacted] and [redacted] came out and shown so much care in protecting all her belongingThey work at a fast pace and they were so friendly and helpfulMy mother-in-law said after all her moves in her life this one was the best she ever had

We just bought a new home and wanted to move the Labor Day holiday weekendWe have always moved ourselves without any professional assistanceBut Terry hurt his back so we needed some Help…I called and talked with Brian who assured me all would go great! I explained how we always took the drawers out of the dressers, etc, moved the piece, then put the drawers back inSo I asked if we needed to unpack the drawers of the dressers and dining hutch type furnitureHe assured me no need to unpack the drawers of anything, because they shrink wrap everything to keep it safeI of course unpacked breakables but that was itWe were being charged by the hour, and he quoted an Estimate for guys about hrs labor hr travel and 12% fuel service chg of $467.04, plus each additional hour after that $The day of our move, we had everything ready to go, was up earlyWas told we’d receive a call when they were on their wayNo call came…Then when they get there, The lead guy is slowing explaining all they were moving, their process and expected Terry to sign this Form with several pages before they would do anythingTerry was trying to unhook the washer/dryer so he signedThen I noticed they were shrink wrapping everything! I said wait a minute you don’t need To shrink my dining room table, the mattress and box springs, the dressers, the tablesThey took apart My dining room table and shrink wrapped it!! When I said that, the lead guy said yes mam we shrink Wrap everythingI said that I talked with Brian and he said you shrink wrap the dressers that have Drawers so the drawers and contents are safe, not falling out, but not everything else! This is going to Take foreverSo I called and got Cris, telling him what I just wroteAnd he was very rude to me, and Said they told me they shrink wrap everythingI said no, we were discussing furniture with contents in DrawersIt was one of THOSE kinds of conversationsA no win for meSo fine, let’s move this along Quickly pleaseWe drive to the new home, the truck is right behind me, then they are gone? I called Got Brian this time, and said I need the # to truck guys, they got lostHe said he’d call them, and was Very rude to me alsoSo minutes later they arriveI hear Terry outside talking loudly on the phone and he is so upsetHe is told he needs to pay for our move before they will unpack anything from the TruckThe cost is OVER times what we were originally estimated! I looked at the guy and said: Are You kidding me, you are holding our belongings hostage?! Unbelievable! So of course you pay!! But we feel it is only fair to other consumers out there!! I have finally been able to write about this! We have Been so duped and feel so taken advantage of by this company: All My sons Movers is the name of the Company!! Do not have them move youExtremely expensive, very rude to deal with and not a good CompanyTheir specialty is to deceive you during a very stressful time for those who are moving!!

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and I accept the $offered as restitution In response to the "message from business", the business in question knew I was moving my items into a public storage unit I was not made aware of the liability issues surrounding such a move If the employees know that is is the policy of the business to have "no liability" when moving items into a public storage unit, what is to prevent an employee from stealing items during the move? As far as "signing off" on receiving all my items, there were literally hundreds of boxes and items involved in this move When moving boxes/items into a storage unit or a home, how can a customer accurately assess whether all items have been accounted for until everything is unpacked? I appreciate the $restitution and will consider this matter resolved when I receive payment However, I cannot go to the store and purchase a new XBOX 360, XBOX Kinnect, and two XBOX controllers for $ Therefore, I still haven't been made 100% whole I am also disappointed in the fact that it took filing a Revdex.com complaint in order to even receive the $ Regards, [redacted] ***

I have responded to the requestI reached out to their customer care department on Saturday August 13, and after a minute hold and a brief conversation where I expressed my concern I was hung up on by the agent ajU">

THIS WAS THE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!! I was told they would arrive mid to late morning, the moving crew did not arrive until 5:pm I had to call three times during the day and was told their phone lines were down and no one called me back I had to keep calling and be transferred to TX for them to track down the Simpsonville office staff I was told they didn't want to let customers know their personal cell phone numbers I asked didn't they know how to block their number from being seen? and that I'm sure they deduct the cost of their personal cell phones as business expenses Their lack of keeping customers informed should have been a big clue as to the experience that was comingHindsight, when they didn't arrive as expected and I had to track them down after noon, I should have called a different company right awayFrom the beginning t told them the maximum I could pay for the move is $ When the move was confirmed, I was assured that the move was being done by professionals who work for a professional companyThe crew arrived exhausted after moving another customer since 7amThey began loading my household items (furniture and boxes, no appliances)I helped hand truck boxes and carry individual small pieces of furniture to move this process alongWe finished loading by 9:pm and headed to the new house Upon arrival I was told the bill would be almost $more than I expectedThe reason it was more was because they were now on overtime! Overtime when the crew arrived exhausted at 5:pm, moving slow and dropping things as they were loaded because they had been working since 7amI refused to pay and was threatened with having to pay 2-times more when they took my stuff to their storage unitTheir overtime was as a result of poor and overscheduling on their part and I should not have to pay for their mismanagement, [redacted] was actually screaming at me and kept switching from calling me [redacted] instead of [redacted] When I brought this to his attention he said- " [redacted] , [redacted] what's the difference?" At this point I hung upThe senior partner, [redacted] called me to say they would work with me and settle for what I could pay themI told him I thought them having a crew working two moves in one day from 7am to late in the evening was against labor laws and was told, don't go thereI also stated that I'll bet they don't get referrals or any repeat customers given how they try to gouge customers and treat customersThe crew began unloading the truck at pm and didn't finish until 2:amI directed the crew to put the furniture in the designated rooms and place all the boxes in the dining room and I would place them in the appropriate rooms the next dayDuring the unloading, I removed shrink wrap and packing mats from the furnitureThe antique armoire when uncovered had damage to the top piedmont and both front corners The next day I discovered damage to my dining table top and the corner of one end of the sofa Photos were submitted to the companyI asked them to call me and let me know the claims process and what to expect After not hearing anything for two days, I called the company [redacted] informed me that since I didn't pay the almost $extra they wanted to charge me, they would not be submitting the claimHe began screaming at me again and twice I had to hang up on his ranting I put him on speaker phone and others in my office were shocked at how he talks to customersWhile the moving crew worked hard, they were clearly exhausted when they arrived for my move and tried their bestThis company not only treats customers horribly, they clearly don't care about their employees either I would NOT recommend this company to anyone I'm leaving my furniture damaged for now so that friends and family can see the damage done by professional moversI'll find someone to do the repairs and yes, I will tell the world how horrible this company isTHIS WAS THE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE!!!

All My Sons will send out a repair guy if customer so requests Every attempt to give a great moving experience has been afforded said consumer All communication and advisements have been so logged throughout entire ordeal In order to schedule a repair time please contact the local office [redacted] 864- [redacted]

The [redacted] office does want to accommodate everyone as best as possible Unfortunately all jobs are done by the hour and are gone over several times When the men encounter several flights of stairs it does add to the time in which a move takes place We have offered to waive the travel and packing and in consideration for your time will add an additional half hour of labor Travel Time Packing 1/labor The final total consideration is Sincerely [redacted] Owner

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Regards, [redacted] I am [redacted] pds, I highly doubt your men, were in anyway intimidated, nor in fear for their lives This is unacceptable You were hired to move me from one home to another, I was very specific in telling you and your men everything that needed to be moved The company not only caused great destruction to my belongings, and caused extreme fear and stress to me and my [redacted] ***, but did not finish the job, I had to incur many other charges and expenses due to the failure of your men to complete the move As stated, your men sent me down to the other home to gather "bolts" that were already at the new home to assemble the beds, mirrors, and finish with the move They left while I was gone They did not put the beds together, nor mirrors, nor boxes, furniture etcand further more caused damage to my new home's garage door, trees, walls, carpet, and doors I will move forward to taking this to court I feel I have a good case, joining me will be several witnesses as well, as pictures, receipts, and handwriting analysis I am sorry you refuse to cooperate, it seems this is the norm with your reputation, and ratings with the Revdex.com and complaints

Dear [redacted] Here at All My Sons of [redacted] we pride ourselves on giving the best moving experience possible to all of our clients I have spoken with the crew that performed your move and they want you to be assured as you continue unpacking you will find all of your items If for some reason this is not the case you can contact us here at the local office or contact All My Sons claims department at [redacted] As far as our agreement is concerned everything was based on the hourly basis We did provide some additional unpacking and disassembly and reassembly of patio furnitureUnfortunately when the men enter into extreme situations where there may be a lot of animals living in ones home it can hinder the speed at which they work as well I believe you can agree the men worked very hard throughout the move and that you had a very professional crew This being said I still in good faith would like to offer you a credit of to your credit card for any frustrations you may have encountered [redacted] ***Owner

They gave me two free hours toward our last move [redacted]

I have spoken with the crew ( [redacted] , ***, and [redacted] The reason the move took hours was due to the stairs the men encountered While we pride ourselves on trying to give the most accurate quote as possible variables such as these have to be taken into consideration At the end of the day all moves are done by the hour The crew that was on the job was very experienced however in consideration we do want to make sure that we do take care of every customer The [redacted] office does want to reimburse said customer for travel and for any packaging used Total coming to Sincerely [redacted] ***

All My Sons Moving & Storage never sent me a contractEverthing was done verbally over the phone

Yes this is what I received AFTER the factIf I didn't pay the money then they were going to keep my belongings as "hostage" I didn't see this as a contract, I saw it as a receipt

Never use All My Sons they price gauge and run the clock I utilized their service as a last alternative and regret that decision They moved me when I was going through so many transitions and trusted them to do the job they were paid to do They “wrapped” unnecessary items to run the clock and took forever to unload my furniture During transit they knocked my washing machine around so much the repairman asked if they dropped my appliance A Very Expensive lesson learned!!!
