I have read the complaint and will address them individually. As far as slandering our company, this is uncalled for. We have been in business for over years and service all of our customers as well as others. We will fix all issues that are defective, as the manufacture
warranties against all of the mentioned issues. As far as the glass size, the windows are REPLACEMENT WINDOWS. The windows fit inside the exsisting window openings, replacing the functioning parts with upgraded products. In your case, you purchased our highest rated product. *** products were installed. We are an exclusive distributor of the *** Products in this area. We ordered you custom triple glass windows with interior grids. Theses are priced according to your choices in glass and grids and are also discounted. We did not force you to purchase from our company but we are happy that you did. As for the receipt, your contract is your receipt. We do not issue a paid in full receipt upon completion of the job. Our company's process for contracts is as follows:We sell products, wait days for the cancellation period, finalize payment method for job.After the job is approved, we order the materials for the job.When the job is complete, the customer is required to inspect the final product and if satisfied signs a Barrier Window Systems, IncCompletion Certificate. Payment in full is expected upon completion of the job unless other arrangements have been made. If you require a receipt for Taxes, your contract will serve as proof of the home improvement. Please contact our office to arrange for our construction manager to inspect the products at your convenience.I hope I've answered your questions. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The contract also states that wood was to be replaced. The wood was not replaced. I should not have to pay $for someone to come and look at something that was not done the way it should have been. With a two year old roof, this is not wear and tear---this is an installation issue. I would think that your company would cover this, especially because I paid enough to do two roofs, same material and size.

*** industries bankrupted years ago. As clearly stated on your contract Barrier will warranty the items purchased as per the product warranty per the manufacturer. In addition, we warranty service for year from the contract date. We are not the manufacturer but try our
best to provide superior service to our customersWe will gladly repair the items at a nominal charge in order to keep your windows looking and performing up to the standards that your purchased. John and the sales rep met with the customer yesterday as planned. The contract was negotiated and all necessary paperwork signed with witnesses. The customer is satisfied with the job as per their signatures. The contract remains under full warranty

Yes after speaking with the customer and explaining to her that she has a lot of rotted wood that is beyond the scope of the contract we find it best to refund her for the balance because we cannot solve her problem by using paint She has a beautiful house and needs to repair the wood or she will never be happy This was not part of the deal ever . We have inspected and visited the site several times she is unreasonable and did not want to pay to have her wood repaired we were not able to do what she wants because of the condition of the material and would like to refund her $which she agreed on.anthony c***

This matter is now with our attorney Barrier Window Systems should be getting her response by the end of the week

On July 11, we completed windows, doors, siding and roof at ** * *** *** ***. The first service call was in and was for a leak
around the chimney. It was pointed out to the customer, at that time, that there was a problem with the chimney and not with the roof. The service man was certain of this. In we had a service call for a piece of siding and gutters leaking ( mother nature) and we fixed that. In customer said that a shingle had blown off in a storm (act of god) and that a soffit panel also blew off. Up to this point we fixed all issues, even though the service warranty had passed after year, at no charge. Our contract clearly states that service is free for year after install and that acts of god are not under warranty. Parts for our windows and doors are under manufactures warranty but there is a trip charge to do the repair. The problem with shingles coming off excessively was not until 2016. Since that time we have been to the home several times and only charged trip charge. The customer keeps calling because more shingles are falling off (perhaps the storm loosened them and water and ice further damaged them) After years has passed, it it not an installation issue. Perhaps the customer should call the Insurance Company for a damaged roof. We are scheduled to service this one last time 11/15/17, as we no longer do business in PA nor do we do roofs

We are not sure what the problem is she is under warranty and we are willing to correct the problem it is a very difficult situation with the roof and the way the architecture is and requires roof jacks in other safety measures so it cannot be done without care

We received your request and service was at the house last Friday. We examined and will finish the service call after scheduled with customer. Please be advised that we need to contact or be contacted by the customer before sending a service man to complete the repair

Mr*** is a past customer. We have placed his number on the DNC list. Preservation
