The warranty you received was sent to you when Barrier Window Systems installed that brand. As indicated on the back Of your contract, Barrier warranties according to manufacturers warranties which were in place at time of your purchase. The company that made your windows warranties full replacement with no proration. Unfortunately, that manufacturer is No longer in operation. We will gladly fix the problems for the nominal fee as discussed in the previous response.

We follow up with our past customers periodically to offer service and specials.  We accept requests to be placed on the DNC list.This number is on the Do Not Call List and will not be called.

We had another contractor ([redacted] ###-###-####) who is currently working on the house next door come over and look at the situation with the window. After he looked at it he said that they had not insulated the bay window which is attached in the pictures. This is the information to be...

Your contract is for a very large window opening removal that will require construction and additional work necessary to complete the job.  The work was explained to you at time of purchase.  We are sorry that you feel that you cannot take the time out but require your presence due to the nature of the job.  We want to be sure that our work is done to your expectations and that we are paid at time of completion.  The contract is non negotiable at this time as we have invested money in your project.  Please contact us to schedule today. will gladly come to your home upon receipt of your written request for service summarizing the repair issues and 50% deposit for the trip charge.  This is our service policy.  Although the manufacturer warranties the product, our company charges for a one time trip charge and NYS Sales tax.  We will look for your request.  Also, we can accept this request via e-mail and can take your deposit with any credit card.  Please email requests to [redacted] and include your payment information where indicated.  Please know we will only charge your card for 50% of the trip charge and will expect the remainder after you are satisfied with the repair. To trouble shoot your problem, please be sure that all areas of the window are clean and closed and locked properly.  If the weep holes are clogged with dirt the system will not be allowed to drain the water properly.  Windows are engineered to shed the water through weep holes.

Dear [redacted], According to your contract, which I have attached, we have completed the contract according to our company's and the manufacturer's standards.   After the contract was sold, we went over the scope of the contract again and clearly...

explained to you all the products that you purchased again.  During the measure, John explained the siding that you were receiving and also stated that you did not decide to purchase the more expensive siding because of the added expense of the material.  He specifically went over each product again during his time at your home during the measure.  In addition, as seen from the contract, the Soffit and Fascia was not included in the signed contract.  John asked why you decided to omit these items.  You explained to John that you decided against the soffit and fascia purchase do to the added expense.  The contract was completed and was signed by you upon completion. Our Completion certificate specifically asks you to sign only if you are 100% satisfied with the products and the installation of the contract.We received a Revdex.com Complaint from you just after completing the contract which is FULLY Warrantied as per your contract.  We were surprised to hear that you did not fully understand what products were installed and have set an appointment with Mr. [redacted] for next week, Monday at 3:30pm.  Both the Project manager and Sales Rep will be attending.   Apparently, there seems to be some miscommunication between you and Mr. [redacted] who was not present at the measure.

In the old windows the glass size was 19 x 23 inches the new windows the glass size is 17 x 19-1/2. I wanted the grids to have 6 sections but the grids in the new windows only have 4 sections. This was communicated to the salesman before the final measuring was done. He assured me that even though this was different from the original order the 6 section grids would not be a problem because the order was not placed yet.

Due to your concerns, we will do this trip charge to recalk the windows at no charge when we are in your area. Our service manager will contact you in order to schedule this service. Perhaps the harsh winter interfered with the setting of the calk and created the cracking.  We will inspect...

The warranty I have from Barrier Windows clearly states that the windows will be replaced free of charge .  Once again, my warranty does not list [redacted] as the manufacturer, it only lists Barrier Window Systems.  The warranty states for me to contact the dealer from whom I purchased the windows from to receive replacements.  I do not agree with a charge of $508.36 to replace the windows.  I already paid $42.00  for someone to come to my house.  When he was at my house he did not even measure the windows like I was told was the reason for him coming and the reason I needed to pay that fee.

The job has been inspected and our company has determined that condensation is the cause of the moisture . Our project manager is working with the customer and has scheduled a repair that will include getting the window back to when it was installed in addition we are going to go beyond our scope of contract and help the customer for tech the windowsill and add insulation to the seat we have advised the customer on condensation and will direct him to the articles that will help solve the condensation issues.

case, the customer assured us that it was not necessary and that she wanted the door.  She did enter into the contest that takes place every August.  We are registered with NYS Games of Chances and conduct the same give a way annually.  We have done so successfully for over 10 years.  Every contract has a 3 day cancellation period.  This customer did not cancel and allowed the critical measure to take place days later.  To the best of my knowledge she wanted the door.  Due to custom products, we cannot accept returns for contracts not cancelled within the 3 day cancellation period.  We are in full compliance with NYS and do not take advantage of Elderly people who clearly state that they have control over themselves and complete the question clearly asked- Does anyone have Power of Attorney over you and if so, please schedule an appointment to further discuss any home improvements purchases together with the homeowner and the Power of Attorney.  Thank you.Barrier Window Systems, Inc.

changed.  Your doors are under warranty as stated on  your contract.  We have not changed our contract.  Please refer to #12 on the back of your contract.  The manufacturer will warranty their doors according to their warranty for each specific product.  Our company will gladly do the repairs and only charge for a trip charge, $85.00 at the time of your initial inquiry.  Now, the trip charge is $120.00.  We will not increase your amount for the trip because your inquiry was before the price increase. I am sorry that we have not satisfied your repair but assure you that we will.  Our Project Manager will contact you in the near future.  If you would like to contact us, please call [redacted] and leave a message for John- Option 6- Service Manager.
