The owner's manual for the customer's vehicle says ""SAE 5W-engine oil is recommended for all operating temperaturesThis engine oil improves low temperature starting and vehicle fuel economyYour engine oil filler cap also shows the recommended engine oil viscosity for your vehicleLubricants
that do not have both the engine oil certification mark and the correct SAE viscosity grade number, should not be usedYou may use synthetic engine oils provided the recommended oil quality requirements are met, and the recommended maintenance intervals for oil and filter changes are followed.""Please see the attached maintenance records provided to ASAP by the customer which shows that he used 5woil, not 5was he stated in his complaintThe customer's contract requires him to follow the maintenance requirements of the vehicle manufacturer

The consumer received a Refund Cancellation form, returned it signed April 24, 2017.The consumer received a refund on May 9th for the refund value stated in the cancellation form, and agreed to by the consumer.A copy of the cancellation form can be found here: https://www.asapwarranty.com/member-files/secure/cancellation/354870431/2017-04-... consumer filed two credit card charge backs, May 9th, in the amount of $& $540.00.The consumer fails to mention previous claims paid by ASAP.It is evident, the consumer knowingly filed a charge back with his card bank, while having received a refund he agreed to.The consumer may have committed a fraud, with respect to credit card company rules.ASAP will be filing accordingly with the credit card processor

Firstly it is important to point out the customer paid $1,for the contract, not $2,as the customer statedThe customer stated "They had no problem taking the $2,from me when purchasing this contractAs soon as something bad happens they fight to do anything to have you stuck with a car that needs work." Please note, within the first days of the customer's contract ASAP paid out $in claims for this customer's vehicle.The customer continued to reference under the Exclusions section his contract where it states "If the odometer is altered, disconnected, or inoperable so that the miles traveled cannot be accurately determined." This section of the contract refers to reasons why individual claims may be deniedWe are acting in accordance with the cancellation terms of the contract which reserve the right for ASAP to administratively cancel a contract:"CWE may cancel this CONTRACT at any time if: (ii) YOU made a material misrepresentation or substantially breached YOUR duties under this CONTRACT relating to the VEHICLE or its use; (vi) WE cannot determine the true mileage of the VEHICLE due to replacement, alternation, disconnection or failure of the Odometer"The customer states that the mileage should have been recorded as one amount, yet it was recorded incorrectly due to human errorThere is no way to truly confirm this statementThe customer supplied a legal document from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation which records the mileage at the time the vehicle was purchased and also states it is the "ACTUAL MILEAGE." There is also a case of the customer misrepresenting the vehicle to ASAPThe customer states in his previous correspondence with the Revdex.com that the document should read 101,miles- that document is dated March 29,On April 3, the customer signed the contract with ASAP confirming the vehicle had 99,miles. The only mistake made by ASAP is the customer is due a refund of $based on the pro-rata method for calculating the refund. Based on the legal document provided (see attached) and the customer's misrepresentation of the vehicle to ASAP, we have acted in accordance with the contract terms and conditions signed and agreed to by the customer

They continue to lie They denied my claim and would not communicate with me after that They have not been in contact with me to work this out I repeatedly called them and emailed them several times a week for two months Once in a while when I got a live person, I was always told a manager would call me back in an hour He never did I finally got one call after Revdex.com sent my complaint but he never offered to honor their agreement

The customer purchased on 8/1/and reported the mileage to be 67,The contract became effective on 10/3/and 68,milesA claim was filed on 11/28/and a vehicle mileage of 69,ASAP sent a 3rd party independent inspector to view the vehicleThe car needed a complete engine
rebuild, cost in excess of $10,000.00, a transmission valve body cost of $4800.00, and multiple other repairsAll of this was needed at the time the contract was only miles oldThe inspection report (please see attached) states as follows:"Failure to the window motor assembly, the valve body assembly and audio amplifierThe smoke from the tail pipe is consistent with valve stem seals failuresFailure of the engine starterAll failures are consistent with long term wear and are consistent with a preexisting condition."After review of the information submitted by the repair shop along with the inspector's findings, ASAP has found the claim has been administrated properlyWe do not cover pre-existing conditions

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.So they are denying due to the a developing problemAll vehicle have developing problem once they roll off the lotThere is no vehicle in history that a it will stay perfectThe point of having warranty is to cover these break down if they do occurThe warranty company accepted the contract fully knowing that the car has high mileage with wears and tearsHow would you know what is considered not pre-existing because very part of that car is over 100k milesThey can use this to deny any future and all repairsThis is what a scam sounds like.

The customer was sent the follow ing email message by AsAP:*** *** VSC#: 57517148 Claim # 416627337 Your counter offer to Mr*** has been reviewed and the above referenced claim # has been re-evaluated. ASAP sent a third party independent inspector to view the vehicleThe inspector's report (see attached) states: "Explanation of failed components and how verified failed: Upon start up there is a very brief rod knock and constant valve train rattle from the engineThe engine was shut off right away due to the excessive noise from itThe vehicle was lifted and the technician demonstrated engine oil leaks from the front of the engine and oil blown back along the exhaust to the rear bumperThe oil leaks appear to be coming from the upper right timing cover, oil pan and oil coolerThe oil is currently full at this time and was topped off on arrival to the shopThe oil is very cleanWith the extent of the oil leak this will run the engine low very quicklyThe vehicle was driven into the shop with the oil dripping and engine knocking." Cause of failure:Engine has material failure of oil pan gasket, timing cover gasket and oil cooler with sub (subsequent) damage to the engine from lack of lube and continued operation." The contract does not cover a breakdown caused by a failure to stop driving or protect the vehicle from further damage after evidence of a breakdown appearsThe engine is leaking heavily causing the oil to run very low on a constant basisThe continued operation of the engine while low on oil caused an internal engine failureASAP does not have any responsibility to cover a repair caused by customer neglect. Thank you, American Standard Auto Protection(end of email) As indicated in the inspection report, (With the extent of the oil leak this will run the engine low very quicklyThe vehicle was driven into the shop with the oil dripping and engine knocking.) the engine was losing so much oil that it was constantly being refilledThis does cause the engine to be operated without enough oil to maintain proper lubrication which keeps the engine in good condition. Please note, ASAP does not perform "bait and switch" tacticsCustomers are requested to review, sign, and electronically return their contracts upon purchaseCustomers are given a day window from the date of purchase, if they are unhappy, to cancel a contract and receive a full refund

ASAP has been trying to assist this customerThe customer has already stated to the Revdex.com that her intention of purchasing this contract was to have her vehicle's pre-existing mechanical breakdowns covered when she told the Revdex.com " I would NEVER advise anyone about getting a car warranty if you suspect there are issues, because apparently they are NOT covered! Not sure why else you would buy a warranty unless you feel like your car may need it soon" ASAP has sent the customer a cancellation email and is waiting for the customer to sign and complete the cancellation form so the refund can be issued

I AM WRITING TO INFORM YOU AFTER THREE ATTEMPTS, FOR THEM TO SEND ME THE REFUND MONEY BACK TO ME.I FINALLY SPOKE TO *** A SUPERVISOR FOR ASAP WARRANTYTHEY ARE WITHHOLDING APPROXIMATELY FOR SERVICE THEY DID NOT PROVIDEACCORDING TO THERE POLICY FIRST MONTH YOU CANT EVEN FILE A CLAIMSEPTFIRST DAYI CALLED THEM TO FIX MY TRUCK IN AUGUST FOR MY FIRST REPAIRWHICH THEY DENIED ALL BUT ONETHEY WAITED NEARLY A MONTH TO APPROVE THE A/CTHEY WERE PLAYING PHONE TAGYOU CAN CONTACT THE MECHANIC *** TO VERIFY MY STATEMENTAFTER I CALLED TO CANCEL MY CONTRACT IN NOVEMBER MY MILEAGE WAS 121,I WAITED TWO WEEKS FOR THE PAYMENT, SO I CALLED THEM TO FIND OUT THE STATUS OF MY REFUND CHECKTHEY CLAIM I DIDNT SEND THE MILEAGE VERIFICATIONIT TOOK ME A WEEK TO SEND BECAUSE I NEED TO FIND A NOTARY TO SIGN THE PAPER.MOST OF THEM ONLY VERIFY SIGNATURE NOT MILEAGEI MAILED IT TO THEM AND IT TOOK THEM TWO WEEKS TO RECIEVE I GUESSI CALLED THREE TIMES AND THEY DIDNT RECIEVE ITTHEY PLAY TO MANY GAMES TO AVOID PAYMENTS FOR REPAIRS AND LOOK I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A MONTH FOR MY REFUNDI DIDNT SIGN THE EMAIL UNTIL YOU SEEN ITIt's UNFAIR HOW MUCH THEY ARE TAKING OUT FOR LITTLE THEY HAVE DONEI WOULD AGREE TO BUT NOTHING MORE. Here are my viewsThe response from ASAP Warranty to deny the claim and cancel my contract appears to be based on me racing my vehicleAlthough the vehicle in the cited video is my vehicle, it was not being raced while in my possessionWith this in mind, they have no proof that this is a video of me racingThey have subsequently cancelled my contract erroneously. Not only that, they have refunded an incorrect pro-rated amountFurther support that this organization is a scam! Details: days of coverage, claim filed on day 684, thus 62.5% used, 37.5% to be refundedCost of plan $2,37.5% of $2,= $I was refunded $651.67. My desired outcome now is that due to them taking from July to October to reach a verdict, and that fact that the verdict is incorrect and they have cancelled my contract in error, I expect a FULL REFUND of my contractI no longer have the time or patience to pursue these scumbagsI will be at months without my vehicle by the end of JanuaryTHAT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLEThe best thing we can do is end this relationship free and clearIf they do refund in full, I will cease publicly dragging their name through the mudIf not, I will continue to shame them and publicly tarnish them. I hope you can assist in getting this resolved

I take issue with the labor rate disputeKnowing that I was looking for an Extended Warranty on a late model BMW I specifically asked the agent/sales Rep if they covered or would cover the $per hour rate at the BMW dealershipI read the contract and brought up the $an hour rate and was told that the $rate would be adjusted and they would pay the appropriate labor rate if it was the Dealers stated rateAnyone can dub or delete pieces if not all of recordings, I'm not saying that happened but I know what we discussed and I have been in so many words called a liar.
