Regards,
*** *** I have two quotes from two different body shops*** *** *** quoted: "three hundred dollars"*** *** *** *** quoted: " two hundred fifty dollars"So I feel that one hundred dollars is not nearly enough to satisfy my claimWhy should I have to add money, to cover the cost of repair, when my vehicle did not have those surface scratches before I visited Mikes Car WashI have witnesses, who were there with me and can attest to the fact of the condition of my truck, before and after my visit

As Mr*** stated he used our self-seve bay to clean his truck on February 26, We have attached signage stating that customers are using this equipment at their own riskUnfortunately, we do not have control over how this equipment gets used by our customers and for this reason
we do not feel we are liable for the scratches Mr. *** is claiming on his SUV As a goodwill gesture we would be willing to offer a $towards a buff job, but that would be all we would be willing to doIf this does not resolve the issue we would not be willing to offer anything else.Thank you,Mike's Carwash

On December 22,
we had our location manager meet with Mr*** to walk him through the
carwash tunnel to see if there would be anything inside our carwash tunnel
causing this damage to his rimsMr***, wanted an answer immediately and
was being very confrontational to the point
where he was stopping our customers
that were coming into our establishment and telling them that we damage
vehiclesWe let him know that we would get back with him later in the day so
that we could review his claim and look into it further but he refused to leave;
that is when the location unfortunately had to call the police
On December 23,
we had our Area Director, Charles A*** met with Mr*** at our
Beechmont Location. MrA*** inspected his vehicle and they watched a
few cars go through the tunnel. There was nothing out of the
ordinary. His rims have serious road rash damage commonly seen on
vehicles from curbs, etc. Unfortunately this damage was likely on the
vehicle before Mr*** recently purchased the vehicle. Again, Mr
*** was very confrontational but we remained professional and allowed him in
the tunnel several times, letting him measure and take pictures, gathering any
paperwork he neededOnce again he was confronting customers on our
parking lot about their rims today.
This damage is
from concrete and curbs. Nothing in the wash is capable of causing this
damage. We are not responsible. Thank you

We can appreciate what the customer is saying and can understand their frustration when finding damage on your brand new vehicle for the first timeWe did go back and watch our video footage at the carwash to see if we could see anything inside the carwash tunnel that was malfunctioning
or not properly operatingWhat we did find and wanted to share with the customer was that we saw these gouges on their hood prior to entering the carwashWe can show them this video footage at anytime if they would like to stop by our carwash location and ask for the manager. If they would like to give me a call and schedule a time that would work alsoI can be reached at ###-###-####Thank you.*** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this attempt towards resolution is satisfactory to me And request that the arbitrator be a third party in which neither party has worked with before
Regards,

Good afternoon, On 09/07/*** *** called into our office regarding his Mike’s Carwash monthly Unlimited plan. Our monthly Unlimited plans auto renew unless cancelled by the customer. We never received notification to cancel *** ***’s plan so it continued to
bill. When *** *** called in we did refund one month of billing for $which is our current billing price. We did have a price increase in February All our customers were notified by email (if they provided their email address by registering their pass as we request that they do upon sign up) and we had large print at the exit tunnel of all of our wash locations notifying all our customers of the increase in advance of its implementation On 09/09/we called *** *** to refund the remaining amount charged for the time period without any usageOn January 14, Anthony was charged $and utilized the pass one time during that month. February through July Anthony was charged $each month for the Unlimited plan with no usage. On 09/07/one of those months was refunded as stated previously. The total amount refunded on 9/9/is $289.00. Jan = $44.00, Feb = $49.00, Mar = $49.00, Apr = $49.00, May = $49.00, June = $49.00, July = $TOTAL: $338.00. $- $(already refunded) = $289.00 If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us. Thank you Mike's Carwash

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.First, in the complaint form signed at the time of the incident I did not state that the prep gun was laying opposite of where the damage occurred. In fact, the location of the prep gun wasn't identified. I would like to see a copy of this complaint where location is stated written in my handwriting. The prep gun did hit my vehicle multiple times. I cannot explain the physics of why it only left one dent, but I suspect the dent that occurred was from the metal shaft of the prep gun hitting the edge of the roofline which would be much easier to dent than a flat surface. I believe general operation pressure of a prep gun is somewhere between 800-1,psi. I'm sure Mike's Car Wash can speak more specifically to the psi of their equipment. If the prep gun is ENGAGED it absolutely has enough psi to flip the gun around as I stated. I believe Mike's Car Wash is negligent in either the maintenance of their equipment or the wash bays as the wand should never have been left on the ground in an empty bay and/or a prep gun should never be fully engaged without being triggered by the operator

We would always be willing to arbitrate this. We believe this would be a professional way to handle this since we are not coming to an agreement.Thank you

Revdex.com: I accept the offer, and I wish for this complaint to be removed if possible.

What does Mike's Car Wash mean when they suggest taking this to arbitration? Is this something I would have to pay for? I just want the damage to my car that was caused by Mike's Car Wash to be repaired!!Thanks,[redacted]Revdex.com:

Our offer of meeting with the customer or Arbitration still stands. We did want to let the customer know that the prep gun has not been repaired or replaced since this incident has been reported being there was nothing to repair on it. Also, as far as where the prep gun was located the customer stated it was on the ground and our location stated the prep gun was in the holder. Either way you would get the same end result no matter where this prep gun was located. The  prep gun would not have enough pressure to make contact with the customer's vehicle in the area she is indicating damage.Thank you,Mike's Carwash

I do NOT believe this in the least as they are right in the line of sight of the driver and HIGHLY noticeable.  And since I have no kind of proof video footage has not been doctored in any way shape, or form, I do not believe this to be completely truthful.  As such, if it were somehow true, there has been failure to mention the scratches left in my door as well.  I find it ironic that the driver of the vehicle is completely blinded while inside the vehicle, yet they can see all of this by camera.  I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that the scratches were not in my vehicle prior to my driving through their business.
Regards,
[redacted]

I understand Mr. [redacted] concerns but when looking into his claim we did see where there was prior damage on his front bumper that allowed our cloth to get caught in his bumper. He had scratches on his front drivers side corner bumper that looks to be from being bumped from another object...

or car; not from Mike's Carwash. We believe this damage lead to the bumper being not properly attached and loose. (see picture below) Concerning the other customer that was claiming damage she was reporting damage on the passenger side of her BMW and the complaint was not similar to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint.  We did offer to have our Area Director meet with Mr. [redacted] but he did not accept this offer. So at this time we would be willing to arbitrate this matter.Thank you,

We would be happy to have our Area Director, Ron R. meet with [redacted] and take a further look at this damage with [redacted]. The damages [redacted] is claiming are very isolated and if they were to occur from our carwash would be down the entire side of his vehicle being our carwash equipment goes...

from the front bumper to the rear bumper.  We can have our Area Director contact [redacted] to schedule an appointment to further discuss this with him. If this is acceptable let me know and I will have Mr. R. reach out to [redacted]. Thank you,Mike's Carwash

Mr. [redacted] was refunded $229.84 on September 26, 2016 on his unlimited program. Also, we sent a check for $75.00 towards buffing out of his truck which he agreed upon directly to his home address on September 26, 2016. If you have any further questions please contact me.Thank you,[redacted]...

[redacted]Mike's Carwash

Our manager, Joe W[redacted] did meet with them and unfortuately could not come to an agreement with them. The scratches that we are seeing on their vehicle do go left to right and not back to front. This is not consistent with how our equipment goes over their vehicle. We would be willing to arbitrate this with them as an option. Also, we did honor their request and refunded both of their unlimited passes as they requested for the month.Thank you,Mike's Carwash

Regards,
[redacted]---Hello [redacted],In my rejection response my comment did not go through. I do not agree with Mikes car wash answer. Jeanese their claims manager was the one I spoke with after the incident the calls are probably recorded for quality assurance. She was rude and said you can file a claim. So I did as soon as I got my car back from the shop because she stated they needed pictures. She was well aware of the damage after it happened. The report from [redacted] in [redacted] was provided to Jeanese with the results of what caused this loud beep. 2 free car washes is unacceptable for damage caused to my car I will not be back as the car wash is outdated for newer cars with sensors. Thank you [redacted]

We understand [redacted] concerns but this damage is not consistent with any of our carwash equipment that comes in contact with [redacted]. We believe that the best solution to this would be arbitration. Thank you. Mike's Carwash

I spoke with Mr. [redacted] and offered to him numerous times to meet with our Area Director.  To give him the opportunity along with our Area Director to walk through the carwash tunnel to see if there would be anything inside the carwash that would capable of puncturing his drivers...

front tire and damaging his rim. The drivers side front tire and rear tire go through the same conveyor rail system and the same carwash equipment. If something were to damage the front tire it would have also damage the rear tire and rear rim. Our offer of meeting with an Area Director still stands.Thank you.
