Disappointed!!!
Nice install. But found out it has been slow leaking for more than a year. Bath Fitter Lifetime warranty is just for the tub and enclosure, not the plumbing which was done incorrectly and they say they will not cover the repairs and new dry wall that needs to be replaced. Very disappointed in that the leak did start within their one year warranty period but was not discovered until after that period, so they will not cover cost to repair. A bit disappointed in Bath Fitter of Utah!

Ignored our need
The two Spokane Bath Fitter remodel personnel, Jason and Steven, we have encountered are marvelous and I could not say enough about how good they are.

However the scheduler the day prior to the appointment changed the timing of the remodel even after I told her we could not accommodate her request for a change of timing.

I explained that since the original schedule was for the afternoon, and that my wife and I BOTH had made medical appointments for the morning. The scheduler wanted to make the appointment for all day. I said NO, we needed to attend to those appointments that had been made previously a long time prior.

The scheduler ignored me and scheduled the repair for all day without our knowing it. Just before we left for our medical appointments the next morning the repair guy showed up. My wife could not go independently of me to her medical appointment since she is disabled and cannot drive.

We ended up being charged by the two medial companies for being no-shows. We needed to remake our medical appointments and that for three and four months into the future.

When I complained to the company, once to voicemail, and once to a live person on the phone, I did not receive a return call with an apology and an offer to reimburse us the medical appointment penalty for being no-shows.

Because of what this scheduler did, and what it ended up costing us, and our not being contacted with apologies and offer for reimbursements, I cannot give this Spokane Bath Fitter company a good rating.

I had Bath Fitter replace an old shower. for my brother and I, related to age and disabilities
I have been so happy with their services and the installation. I was so happy that I decided to have a new shower put in my rental house to replace the tub with a fantastic new shower. Also, I had them look at my original at no cost because of the outstanding lifetime guaranty Thank You So Very Much yours truly Mr. David S. Monson

I have a friend is in need of a bath makeover bad he is on SSI and very bad shape been falling down has to walk with walker or 2 canes he has live in house since 1980 I would like to see him with respect live out rest of his life as a man able to take care of his self he needs a bath shower has a seat he can pull down and sit take a shower I have seen them I'm asking for help make over his bathroom at x-mas please if you have a display floor model discontinue or directed you can help with please he is a great guy would give you the shirt of his back you help anyone he lives at 4702 Dermot st Chesapeake VA 23320 he really needs your help I believe in miracles and god please help him out my name is Blake Canady I his best friend him and his wife Debbie are great people and for x mas I like to see them smile and enjoy a great shower please make this wish come true thank you for your time and ear

I apologize, I did not see an email prior to this one regarding Ms [redacted] As far as the case goes, I have been involved personally with this customerShe let me know that she sent a complaint to Revdex.com prior to me calling herMy office staff failed to return her calls in a timely manner and once I was made aware of the issue, I stepped in to handle itThe previous job that she purchased with us was not installed to her or my satisfactionOnce I viewed the job, I put my best installer on fixing al of the issuesI also gave her a free tub door (valued at $995)As of today, Ms [redacted] has a beautiful bathtub that she is very pleased with

Both myself and our estimator met with [redacted] on FridayJune 24th at about 3:pmThe discussion centered around the issues that were stated in her letter, which she mentioned her daughter wrote for her She went over all the issues again and then we proceeded to look at the showerI apologized to her numerous times and explained that we were not in the business to create these kind of experiences for our clients and to back that up I brought our survey manual that houses hundreds of surveys from clients, both good and badI explained that we are all human and that mistakes will happen but it is what we do about the mistakes that creates a bond between the company and its clientWe than went into the shower to view the final completionTo say the least, both Lee and I were very impressed with the workmanship! The main issue was that the shower base was sitting on top of another wooden baseIt had already been elevated by the previous folks that did the work ( and we can only surmise) , it was done so they would not have to move a water lineWe asked that if we could move the water line than the base could actually sit on the floorWe were told she did not want that at the time We left with the final solutionI would forgive the balance of the debt due to the time it took to solve the situationWe had offered to redo the project but she did not want to gop through the construction againI told her if she wanted it done in the future I would credit her what she has already paid to a new showerShe was fine with that We left on great termsShe is a wonderful lady but had a bad situation happenShe even went so far as to take us out and show us her mecedes Benz which she was very proud of( And she should be, nice car) Robert (Bob) [redacted] Owner Bath Fitter®

We are currently working with the homeowner to make the situation rightThe homeowner has since filed this complaint and refusing to pay any portion of the entire amount of the jobWe have ordered the new wall surround and tub to fix the situationWe have scheduled a date to correct the situation

Our service was not completed in my time frameI asked for a refund and it has been weeks and I still don't have my money We scheduled an appointment to receive a bathtub remodel in AprilThey said it would take two weeks so we scheduled the remodel for the second week in MayThey called and said they had to move it to June because of a lack of employeesWe bought a house at the end of June and our bathroom was still not remodeled so we cancelled the service since we were selling our houseThey said it would take a max of 4-weeks to mail a checkIt has now been weeks and we still have not received our moneyI called last week to ask where it wasThe lady on the phone said it was processed but never put in the mailShe called back and said that it would be here in a weekIt has been a week since then plus a few days and we still have not received our refund

This is the first I am hearing about this complaintI will be calling this customer today

I want to file a legal compliant with Bathfitter of Huntsville, Al for not completing a job an timely mannerThis job should have taking one week to complete and it has been over a month time period from this date they started (Nov up until now)Bathfitter came to my house in Nov to install a shower, after the allotted time I turn my shower on and water poured down into my basement area, which I call bathfitter and which it took them a week to come out and look at the problemI have taking off several days off my work schedule to meet with these people and to correct the problemWhen the date and the time arrives for us to meet, I would get a call saying that our etch is unavailable and would had to rescheduleI am paying for a shower that I have not used but one time and it was done improperly, plus to take time out of my busy schedule to stay at home, which has been added up to be over a week nowThe only thing that I have got out of [redacted] Farris (Manager) what do you

It is very unfortunate to have had Ms [redacted] put through this, but after reading through her issues and what our people had explained to me, this is what we understandIf Ms [redacted] would have let us remove the raised up shower base that had the center drain, we could have lowered the base to the proper height and ordered one with the right hand drainIt appears there must have been a bathtub in the premises at one time and the contractor was unable to get a shower pan with a right hand drain and therefore plumbing had to be run above the floor therefore leaving a raised baseWhen our installer removed everything, we found a water line in the way and she did not want it removed or us to remove the build upFrom what I understand the height of the shower is higher than it was beforeAlso Ms [redacted] does not understand constructionIn order to put in a new shower base, it must be stabilized to the studsIn order to do that, tile would have to be removed As far as the other issues this was the result of poor workmanship, which we do not tolerate, the installer is no longer with usBath Fitter wants to make this rightWe will tear out the existing and if she will allow us as was requested in the first place, we will have the water line rerouted, a new proper lower base in that is not on a raised platform ( at our expense) and will be much safer for her We believe that a lot of this could have been avoided if she would have followed our recommendationI will not at this point waive the amount and mark the bill "Paid in Full"We are always concerned about our reputation and at the end of the day be proud of our workmanshipWith over bath/showers completed in Minnesota, we believe we can make this right

We have completed the new installHomeowner went through things with the installer before he left and was happy with the resultsWe have come to an agreement on paymentWe are happy that things worked out for both parties

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response from Bath FitterThey did not discuss the issue at handA owner of a company, in this case ***, who supplies a consumer with a price for work to be done can not simply state "I don't know" when asked for a breakdownI was unable to get a breakdown from anyone until AFTER the work was completedThis should be furnished upon the consumer asking before work is startedCome to find out this company has travel charges to and from, which an OWNER of a company would be knowledgeable ofShe clearly kept this information from me as she could not give me any insight what so ever of how the $charge came aboutThis is highly suspicious and unprofessionalShe clearly took advantage of me knowing I was hard pressed to get this fixedI do not dispute having to pay out of pocket but I absolutely do not agree to paying the travel fees to and from or the return trip fees as they were not disclosed to me by the OWNER when I requestedAs far as the comment about using their plumberThey asked for me to pay their plumber $instead of the plumber suggested to us by [redacted] who already knew the situationSo it clearly did NOT save me any money like they suggested in their response To reiterate, I strongly believe I am entitled to ALL travel charges to be refunded to meTravel charges for a company would be a set fee for all customers and [redacted] would surely know this information as she is the owner of the franchiseShe deliberately kept this information from meAlso upon her not furnishing a breakdown of the cost it was also not listed on the receipt upon completion of the jobNo one would furnish this information to when I asked until AFTER the job was completed Sincerely, [redacted] ***
