We just received notification of Mr*** complaint, and immediately called him as we have no record of there being any outstanding work to be done, nor of any messages left for us, indicating soAfter speaking with Mr***, Mr*** DID confirm that there was silicone work that needed to be completed, and that he left 3 messages over a 6-month periodAs we show no record of having received calls (nor messages) from Mr*** (all of our calls monitored, and we can easily look up incoming calls over a given date range), I asked him to provide me with the telephone # he'd been dialingUnfortunately, the tel # that Mr*** called is the personal cellular # of an employee, and not the tel # to our local office, which is listed on Mr***'s Agreement, on our Marketing Materials, and/or on the Internet.Although we certainly wish a call had been placed to our Customer Service tel #, the responsibility most definitely still lies with us, as our employee should have passed this message along to usThis is regrettable, to say the least, and we will address this accordingly, internally. In the meantime, we've scheduled to have a technician perform the necessary work, and have provided Mr*** with the correct Customer Service # to call, should the need arise in the future. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to Mr, ***We take great pride in ensuring that our Customers' Bath Fitter Experience exceeds their expectations, and will be sure to address this unfortunate incident, internally

Door has been leaking since initial install months agoCompany is unable to provide adequate solution and has been making more issues
My husband and I purchased a replacement shower and door from our local Bath Fitter on June 1, We originally financed the shower for $6,Since our very first use of the shower, the door has leaked, causing flooding of our bathroomWe have had the company out on to address the issue so many times now that I have lost countFor over a year, every technician tried to fix the issue by placing globs of silicon under the door where the leak is occurringEvery time, the "fix" has been inadequate and the door continues to leakEach time we are unable to use our shower for hours while the silicon setFinally, this past May, a technician said the issue might be the actual door and he would speak with our representative (Lou) about ordering a replacement and installing what he called a ramp to help the water flow back into the shower

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because of the fabrication and inaccuracy from the companyTo hear this company purposely falsify specifics is extremely concerningAt the time I was given the cost by *** I DID in fact request a breakdown of how the amount was determined***, the owner stated she did not know the breakdownTo say "she doesn't get involved" is completely absurdAny owner of any company has knowledge of SET trip feesIf you give a consumer an amount to fix something you cannot simply say you do not know and go about your dayShe is RESPONSIBLE for obtaining that information when it was asked from her which during that conversation was made extremely clear was expectedShe did not follow through on that requestFrom the first time *** and I spoke (which I requested) in which I stated to her the plumbers findings and concerns with the Bath Fitter installation not at anytime did I state the work was "shotty" I stated the plumber was concerned with the LACK of appropriate steps taken for a proper installationFrom that point forward she was extremely defensive and unprofessional in her tone stating "Well I guess you should get someone to fix that for you!"
Furthermore, *** did call asking if I already paid the $to *** stating if I hadn't I could just pay their plumber the $fee instead which I did not feel comfortable with and deniedAgain, to say she did not go over pricing is as she was fishing for another $And yes I DID in fact receive a receipt in which I needed to make my own notations because the hand written notes from the technician for the mornings work in which he wanted me to sign was suspiciousThis receipt did not state a breakdown of charges eitherTo say "we did our best to help" is laughableYes I called numerous time and numerous times I was treated unprofessionallyI do not dispute that I would be responsible for paying to have Bath Fitter remove and reapply part of the unit but I am NOT responsible for set travel fees to and from as they were not disclosed when I specifically asked for a breakdown which again *** did not obtain as requestedI was also not responsible for chasing someone down when I had already informed *** a breakdown was needed and expectedTo say it was an after thought on my part is yet another fabricated statement by the companyThe technician stated they use an outside plumber during installationsWith respect to that no permit was taken out with the town and I have parts removed by our plumber as proof of improper parts used by Bath Fitters plumber causing the leakIf a resolution is not met I WILL move forward with this in every avenue as my story is and will remain truthful and the same throughout unlike Bath Fitters responsesI will not back down and I will continue to invest my time until this is made rightI know for a fact that I was taken advantage of by *** and her companyAt no time during any conversation with anyone involved at the franchise was it pleasantThere is a lack of communication and respect from this company entirely.
Sincerely,

I contacted *** about her concernsWe are going out on Tuesday the 11th to address the concerns and the other work she wanted doneThis should and will resolve the issues with her complaint

Our service was not completed in my time frameI asked for a refund and it has been weeks and I still don't have my money
We scheduled an appointment to receive a bathtub remodel in AprilThey said it would take two weeks so we scheduled the remodel for the second week in MayThey called and said they had to move it to June because of a lack of employeesWe bought a house at the end of June and our bathroom was still not remodeled so we cancelled the service since we were selling our houseThey said it would take a max of 4-weeks to mail a checkIt has now been weeks and we still have not received our moneyI called last week to ask where it wasThe lady on the phone said it was processed but never put in the mailShe called back and said that it would be here in a weekIt has been a week since then plus a few days and we still have not received our refund

We entered into contract June 5th after weeks no work was ever started beginning with correct mold.We cancelled contract and still have no refund!
We cancelled contract due to the long period of no start of workAnd asked for refund of depositAlso the agreement was not signed by me on the reverse side of contractWe were told that we could use our existing handycap safety barsThey called me or weeks later telling me they could not honor this wishAt this time my father passed away, making it impossible for us to have work done at allWe had cancelled contract by this time anywayWe requested refund of depositWe called bathfitters many times and got no response or satisfaction, only phone call transfer from person to personAs of the date August 9, we still have not received a refund of deposit

I recently had a new shower installed by Bathfitter Overall, it's a good product What I'm very disappointed in is the customer service The salesman had me thinking that Bathfitter manufactured everything except the doors He told me it COULDN'T leak He bragged about how good he was at returning calls He returned my first call (after I called a second time) I called with another question, he never called back He was inaccurate as to when the installation would take place
I have a small amount of water splashing out from under one of the doors A longer door guide would fix this (their installer agrees with me on this), but they are unable to obtain one from the manufacturer (which ISN'T Bathfitter)
I called the local office The manager didn't seem very interested in helping He told me that a small amount of water is no big deal
I wrote a letter to their corporate office After two weeks, I did receive a reply that re-stated what the manager had said No one bothered to sign the letter It was from "customer care"
As I said, the product is pretty good, but I would rate their customer service/follextremely low to non-existent

We will be contacting this customer today to figure out what the best solution is to his problem

Company's response below:Good morning Ms***, I only received this complaint after a phone call from your office on August 3rd because your emails ended up in my junk mail folderAs soon as I was notified I contacted Mrs***. I was out to see Mrs*** on August
10th (that was as soon as she could see me) and met with herHer window is made of very thin plastic not glass and several of what she thought were cracks were scratchesThere were of the plastic blocks that had cracks in them. I told her that if she would get an estimate that I would be willing to help her out but that I really didn’t feel that it was anything we caused as we did no wall repair only going over her existing wall and tub.I have not heard back from Mrs*** since my visit. If there are any questions, please feel free to give me a call. Thank you,*** *** ***Bath Fitter *** **

Regards,I am rejecting this response because: The cracks in the window - regardless what the material is made of - are not scratches - they are cracks. I had tried on several occassions to have this company come out and he ONLY responded to me once I contacted the Revdex.comUnfortunately, I am the SOLE bread winner and taking continuous time off that is convenient for me, my workplace and a contractor takes time. I am hoping to have someone at the house either this Friday or next Tuesday. I do not believe this occurred from the banging on the wall - which the installer did in fact do; but rather the highly toxic cleaning solution used to clean the mess of caulkI will have this estimate in writing as soon as I can from a window contractor. To clarify, Bath Fitter did not respond to my numerous calls, texts, and emails until I contacted Revdex.com - it was always that the person I needed to speak to was never available

Customer satisfaction is very important to us at Bath Fitteri apologize
for any tardy reply but this communication was not received into our office until Tuesday, March 4, I had left you a message immediately and also worked to understand the concerns of our customer by speaking to our Sales Consultant, the customer and reviewing the customer‘s job file
The customer signed our contract on May 23, The third party financing option was denied and the customer was going to establish an alternate means by which to pay for the contracted workBath Fitter even had moved the installation date from June 26, to August 12th, in order for the customer to satisfy the final payment amount
Since the customer did make an attempt to continue with the contract and since has had some unforeseen medical concerns, Bath Fitter will return a portion of their deposit in the amount of $1,by check within 10-days from the date of this letter only withholding any money to cover incurred expenses as part of this contract
Please feel free to reach me for questions at ***

We had an associate from Bathfitters to come out in Augto give estimate In Oct2018, tub was finally installed They called saying "wrong tub" had been ordered but would put in a "better tub" at no additional charge The tub installed was not a "better tub" and no one told me that until it had already been installed After talking with "management" in Nov2018, it was agreed we would receive a discount and this was supposedly to be sent directly to usThe process would take up to 2-weeksI called Thurs., 1/3/19, Fri1/5/and Mon1/7/and was told "corporate" in Canada had been contacted and that if we have not received the check in "weeks" to contact them again VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE WHOLE PROCESS! MY HUSBAND WANTS TO TELL THEM JUST TO COME BACK AND GET THE TUBThe charges made to the credit card have not been submitted all at one time but on two separate charges I can't get any explanation for this either

After discussing my needs and what I wanted with the salesman, I was assured they would be able to install the desired shower
They did not assist me locating an individual to add a wall so the shower area would be smaller and worst of all they covered about 2/of the air duct and left if open so that had anyone using the shower could have accidently stepped in and broke a foot or worseI had to finally find a cover but they did sort of install it
The bottom of the shower is not as slip free as I was told it would be
The salesman did make a ruff drawing of my needed shower
