Good morning BBB, On 11/22/2008 we installed a bath tub liner, one piece wall system and a set of sliding doors at [redacted] St. Louis, MO 63125. We did no plumbing. Our customer is [redacted] who is very pleased with our services. Miss [redacted] 's neighbor (located... under [redacted] *) called our office to say that there was a leak coming from up above. We Bath Fitter went to the neighbor's residence (apartment B) to check out the leak. With Miss ***'s permission we cut a hole in her ceiling to enable us to check out the leak. After close inspection we found no leaks coming from our bath tub liner. We did however see signs of leakage coming from a sink located a distance from the bathroom. We told Miss [redacted] of our findings and and pointed out that this leak had nothing to do with Bath Fitter. We Bath Fitter then patched the hole in her ceiling - even though the leak had nothing to do with us. Our Production Manager [redacted] has offered to go back to Miss ***'s home to re-open the ceiling and check for leaks again. We don't do work on sinks or other plumbing that is located out side of the tub / shower area but we can re-check our tub installation. We just can't repair something that we had not worked on. In addition we can't obsorb the cost of ceiling repair and painting if the leak was not caused by our work. Now if a leak occurs as a result of our work we would be happy to repair (our customer's) bath and the drywall and paint on the neighbor's ceiling. Please don't hestitate to contact me for more information. Thanks so much, [redacted]

We sincerely regret that Mrs*** *** Bath Fitter experience was anything less than excellent; Our Milwaukee location's team takes great pride in its stellar Customer Net Promoter Score and this misunderstanding simply should not have occurredWe accept full responsibility; As such, we have
ordered a new seamless wall system, and will replace Mrs *** *** current wall system on Wednesday of next week.At the time of Mrs *** *** installation, our technician installed the new shower rod at a height that was within the parameters of the manufacturer's recommended standards; Regardless of those recommendation we should have consulted with Mrs*** *** prior to securing the new shower rod, in order to determine that the installtion height we were proposing was one that would best suit her custom installation requirements. In addition, when Mrs*** *** first contacted us to express her concern, it appears that we may have inadvertently spent more time trying to justify our decision, rather than simply listening, accepting responsibility for the miscommunication, and immediately agreeing to replace the wall systemThe reality is that we should never concern ourselves with being "right"...our focus needs to continue to be in making sure that our Customer is ecstatic with the end result, and their experience...every timeAs we do with any and all feedback, or opportunity for improvement, we will discuss this internally to ensure that we can learn from this, and continue to constantly improve our processes, and our level of service. Sincerely, Bath Fitter Milwaukee Team

I want to file a legal compliant with Bathfitter of Huntsville, Al for not completing a job an timely mannerThis job should have taking one week to complete and it has been over a month time period from this date they started (Nov up until now)Bathfitter came to my house in Nov to install a shower, after the allotted time I turn my shower on and water poured down into my basement area, which I call bathfitter and which it took them a week to come out and look at the problemI have taking off several days off my work schedule to meet with these people and to correct the problemWhen the date and the time arrives for us to meet, I would get a call saying that our etch is unavailable and would had to rescheduleI am paying for a shower that I have not used but one time and it was done improperly, plus to take time out of my busy schedule to stay at home, which has been added up to be over a week nowThe only thing that I have got out of *** Farris (Manager) what do you

Bath Fitter has been very unprofessional when it comes to servicing or fixing their productsThey took a week to even call us back, after several messages were leftThey also didn't even have our main issue on the work order when they sent their maintenance guy outI'm very unhappy with their services

Good Day Oh behalf of Bath Fitter I would like to Thank Ms*** for trying to be a Bath Fitter customer and I am sorry that we were not able to complete her workA few days ago she requested a full refund of the funds that she had paid to our company as a deposit for future work to be
doneAs soon as she made the request due to the long time frame involved and still not having her work done we agreed to refund her payment in fullA request for refund was sent into our corporate office in Canada requesting the refundIt was overnighted to us yesterday arriving at our branch this morningAs soon as the funds arrived she ( Ms*** ) was notified there were here and she could come pick them up as she had wanted toMs *** picked up the funds earlier today. We have been working over the last few months since my arrival here in April to hire and train additional installers so we can reduce our current lead times of 10-weeks so we do not have these types of issues going forward with customersAgain MS *** we are truly sorry for the delays and any problems this may have caused you and will commit to you today that this issue is in the process of now being corrected and should you give us the change in the future to earn your trust and business back.If you ever change your mind to give us another chance I ask that you reach out to me personally and we will take good care of you at 50% of the price we quoted you on the work. Thank you and again we are truly sorry for any trouble this may have caused you. Rick S*Bath Fitter Houston Branch Manager
