*** *** *** was picked up August ** we had a truck on the way down from NYC to Florida and we will pick it up on the way down to Miami Florida! *** *** reserved this move on August ** days prior to pick, since truck was on the way down we explained to him that
we needed to continue to Miami Fl to finish all deliveries and we will load all other shipments coming back north and deliver him on the way upWe never at any time guranteed delivery September * 2016! *** *** picked up from Jacksonville Fl on August ** on the way down to miami Fl !!!! He requested delivery no earlier than September * 2016! Also *** *** *** had more items to move than what was told to us so his price escalated from $to $he was well aware and understood why! We at Beacon Moving always informed Mr. *** *** about his delivery and truck status we always answered and responded to his phone calls and dispatch office works days a week (extension 3) !*** *** was delivered last week September ** 2016, truck left Miami FL after Labor day September * had a couple of deliveries in Georgia North Carolina and picks up in North Carolina and Virginia and than went to Pennsylvanis we always explain to customers that all moves are consolidated with other shipments!*** *** was recommended to us from previous move we conducted as many other moves are recommended and we thrive to provide the best service we can! After all we all know that recommendations are the number one salesperson.... if Mr. *** *** has legitimate claims for damages please email all pictures and letter describing all information to *** and also cc to ***!

*** *** is stating that movers moved slow, I can assure you that out movers move at a adequate PACE TO INSURE THE SAFETY OF THE ITEMS! also we do not charge by time we charge by inventory space(cf)/weight(lbs) at no time did the movers complain about time or not moving the truckour guys are well behaved and are checked for alcohol and drug abuse, so if an elderly person request us to help or do something such as move a truck we will definitely do so! (who wouldn't) *** *** needed much more items to be moved which we explained prior to move and during move to keep *** *** informed of the situation! we have all documents to acknowledge thatThe shipment was delivered August ** three days later than the requested delivery date which we have legally business to deliver as described multiple times. *** *** has over 2700cf that we had to haul to Vegas NV which we did as promisedWe worked very long to load as mentioned by *** *** we didnt work at a sloth pace we worked at an average pace to insure safety of workers and furniture

The actual issue of the wrong estimate being given to the movers and the estimate with all the inventory items being given to us has not been addressedWe have tried to speak with the manager multiple times regarding this issueStephanie said that a mistake was made, and that the cubic feet for the inventory items that were on our list (not the other list) were not included in the cost estimateThis was our issue, they gave us an inventory list but failed to calculate the cubic feet for all the items which caused the price to go upSince this was a mistake on their end, it should not cost us extraWe should have been given a clear estimate with all the cubic feet for each inventory item countedAri said that a queen bed includes a headboard, mattress, box spring, & bed frameStephanie said that a queen bed only includes a mattress and bed frameHow do we get an accurate estimate if the workers convey different information? If the movers have a different inventory list than ours upon arrival there is already a problemMy father in law has worked with several companies and never had this issue, he definitely did not understand where the extra $is coming from, and Stephanie just said the same thing over and over instead of helping to rectify the issueWe asked for the manager multiple times, we were hung up on, and treated extremely unprofessionallyWhen we would call back, no one would answerOur sales person Ari has not responded to any emails or callsAfter being hung up on times & treated extremely unprofessionally, one curse word was used and then apologized forNo one has apologized for the internal mix up, and no one has offered to work with usI have attached the inventory list that I was given, detailing the headboard, mattress, and box spring that was left out of the movers inventory listI told Ari that the headboard was metal so she listed it as metal bed frame(An excuse was made by Stephanie that when something is in brackets it is not counted on the cubic feet, that Ari should have listed it in bullet pointsOf course, me as the customer does not know that, and that is something any professional moving company should make sure to do thoroughly before making a sale)I had also told Ari that the dresser came with a small mirror, and she said that a "dresser" means a mirror comes with it, so it doesn't need to be detailed on the listMy Father in Law was on the phone as well and can attest to thatI had a very small foot rest ottoman that I asked the movers to put in only if there was extra room, I offered to take it out when they increased the price, along with my Christmas tree (that was on the inventory list) but they said that it doesn't make a difference, its still going to be $extra

When I initially called Beacon Moving and dispatch back in mid Janurary to find out how long it would take to send my stuff to Nashville, the woman said 4-days She said for example if I wanted it delivered on Monday to send out the email on Thursday I sent out the email on Friday so I was hoping for delivery on Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week When I called that Monday (January ***) the woman said she had mixed me up with someone else with the same last name and they hadn't sent out my shipment due to that and the weather She finally got back to me saying the shipment would leave Thursday or Friday and arrive Saturday the *** or the *** I had every right to be angry that my shipment not only didn't arrive but hadn't even left Mass yet In addition to being promised delivery, this company neglected to let me know that my shipment hadn't left MA yet and when calling that Saturday all they could tell me was that the truck was leaving sometime next week I was already scheduled to be out of town the following week which is why I asked her over the phone are you absolutely sure the shipment will arrive Saturday the *** or Sunday the *** and she said YES After this no effort on their part was made to arrange for my shipment to be in transit while I was out of town and delivered upon my return I did not receive my shipment until days after I was back in Nashville When the delivery actually came the driver said he always drives through Nashville and was here a couple of times within the last weeks Upon bringing my stuff in the unit I began to notice that most of my stuff was damaged and the legs of my table were missing making the table completely non usable The driver attempted to call the original guy who packaged up my things in my old home to find out if he knew where the table legs were I remember the guys wrapping them up in a blanket when they were taking the table apart I believe somehow this item did not get tagged with my information on it and therefore got lost I filled out the paperwork claiming the damages and the missing table legs with the delivery driver and I called Beacon Moving and left a message on the managers voicemail, which he failed to return the call This had happened to me a few times dealing with them It is difficult to get anyone in charge on the phone or to return phone calls I would like compensation for my damaged and unusable items I hope this company does the right thing and resolves this situation

*** *** is falsifying everything, we were there for at-least hours trying to come to a resolution and explained repeatedly about ** *** options and she kept saying over and over take everything for same price she needed a space that accumulated over CF!

** *** *** was never told that we will pick up only items, our Foreman David arrived at ** *** House and noticed that she has a lot more items than the original list that Both Beacon *** *** ans *** *** *** agreed to have picked up (please see attached document)! we told ** ***
*** that we have a Binding contract to pick up the list for the agreed price as you can on the attached document! *** *** *** was not even there she had a family representative at time of pickAccording to DOT regulations we have to notify the customer prior to loading of all additional fees for extra items/furniture/boxes, we explained everything but *** *** basically told us you pick up everything (over the phone) for the same price or GO! Everything that *** *** said in her complaint is NOT TRUE you can see exactly what was emailed (***) and confirmed with *** *** from 5/**/to 6/**/

we never guarantee delivery days and we always explain about additional charges as you can see on the document attached ** *** says that we needed to use additional material and as you can see on the attached document also explaining that delivery can take upto business days as was explained
all right and responsibilities were given as can see on the attached document that *** *** signed electronically... please review attached document and understand that all regulations were send prior to moving and signed by *** ***... we picked up *** *** furniture on May ** and scheduled to deliver May ** thats less than business days as promised!

again, we made it clear that we will answer the merchant which we did ! we already explained to them that you authorized the move and decided to cancel prior to us arriving to your homeYou should be getting if not already received your refund alreadysince you disputed your charges we had to wait and respond to the merchant accordinglyWe wish farewell! I am not accepting their replyI never asked them to deliver before Sept ***As per the agreement itself and the mail I received from them, clearly states that, goods will be delivered within 7-Days from the date of deliveryTheir working of all days is also wrongThey don't work on Saturdays and don't respond to calls after 4:00/5:PM, during weekdaysThey didn't deliver things on September ***, which is also a lieI got my Goods only on Sept *** at 11:PM in the night, after repeatedly calling and begging the driver to deliver the goodsHe was nice enough to come and deliver it (Otherwise the office was saying that it won't be delivered until the week starting Sept *** as per their System)You can get the copy of the delivery note on which I have signed and mentioned the date of deliveryThey always lied to me about delivery date, never gave me a proper dateFirst they mentioned that it's already loaded in the truck and is on the way, but when checked with the driver, he picked it almost days laterIt's all lies only I have agreed to the price increase without asking a question when they said the items are more than the estimateI called them last week on Sept *** and told them about the missing stuff and damaged goodsThey told me that they will call me for missing stuff and asked me to contact the Insurance directly to discuss on the damaged stuff ? Is this how it is servicedVery bad and poor customer service.

Beacon Moving's management fails to report their numerous unreturned calls to me when trying to resolve this VERY unfortunate situation of lack of professionalism It seems they're eager to get anyone's business, but once there are problems they AVOID taking responsibility for their promises It is my hope any consumer avoids BEACON MOVING unless they want unnecessary frustrations, over charges, and damaged goods that are NOT acknowledged even after they received receipts of repairs madeHopefuly, Beacon Moving's management will get a conscience and NOT CONTINUE to distort the truth and take advantage of more honest hardworking people.

It is understood about the additional items and the price of the contract I signed My point is their initial offer was $at my first estimateAll of this was not a huge deal if everything else went ok. As far as reassembly, they did NOT reassemble most of everything because they got into an argument, the police showed up and they were asked to leave! Do I need to get a copy of the police report? In response to the customers complaint regarding the change of price for the relocation services, we would like to highlight a few points: Compared to her original estimate which was agreed upon, customer moved a total of pieces contrary to the pieces previously listed In our binding
estimate the agreed price between customer and company was for a rate of $per cubic feetIn our final contract the same tariff was applied ie $per cubit feet we will attach documents as proof to indicate there was no increase. Disassembling services are provided based on customer request, but we only reassemble basic itemsAnything that exceeds to screws are not reassembled and customer is advised that there is additional cost for assembly if services are requested on deliveryThis matter is notified to the customer both during the time of estimate and at pickup, whereupon an agreement will be signedThe agreement that was signed by customer did not indicate any additional costsTo file a claim for damages, the customer has to call in to our office, so we can provide the claim's process information and the number so that they can call and make an official report and start their process.We are available at *** for customer to call in.Thank you

again going back and forth we have made numerous attempts to have the shipment picked up, but again customer didnt comply I wish for the Revdex.com to close this complaint customer is stating information !

They are not telling the truth in this response I have emails and phone records and phone recordings that PROVE we are telling the truth I had told the lady(we don't have this persons name because she would not give it to us!) that we were recording the call and she claimed I did not tell her that She was too busy talking over us that she didn't even hear that This company scammed us They changed the contract dates after I gave my credit card for the deposit Their employee, Catherine R***, lied to us on several occassions assuring us that our pick up would be May ***Then she lied and said that she never told me that-I HAVE AN EMAIL FROM HER CONFIRMING THE DATE OF MAY ** AND THE TIME OF PICK UP- They tried to lie about cancelling our order on Friday April *** and they are trying to lie about them telling us they had no truck for either of the dates, NOW they are lying in their response to Revdex.com This is pathetic! WE have any documentations that are necessary to PROVE they are lying Thank you.

Attached are a couple of pictures of the damages. While yes they did deliver on the ***. I had to argue with them to get them to deliver. When I called to get an estimated delivery time I was told oh sorry we won't be delivering until Friday or Saturday. At this point I was not going to accept this as I had already been promised other delivery dates. I understand the whole consolidate routes but our delivery came in a 26' truck with no other deliveries and the driver told us he was not making any additional pick ups and was heading directly back to NJ. I think when you give a delivery date you need to figure out how to honor it. Moving is difficult enough without having to deal with unreliable trucking companies.At the time of the initial complaint I was also unaware that we were missing several boxes. We are still trying to access what is actually missing. My claim will be filed with Anthem within the next days. The bottom line is they did not deliver on their promise of "We know you will be happy with our service".*** ***

Since you are saying that you had another delivery in Syracuse has anyone from your facility contacted them to see if they have received nay of my missing boxes? I have received no calls as a means of follow up on these boxes I called dispatch to inform them that we were missing boxes but that is where is ended If you are saying that you consolidate and that you had another delivery why did your driver tell us we were the only stop and that they were then heading back to the warehouse Someone is confused and I can tell you it is not me.Your initial response stated that you had tried to contact me several time I have received no calls or messages from your company.Nothing from the original complaint has yet been addressed Why was payment demanded before the service was complete? Why were we not told at the beginning of the hiring process that getting to upstate NY is hard? I am still working on getting everything compiled for my claim I have already invested over hours in this process Between documenting all the missing and broken items, taking pictures and getting together replacement cost this is a slow process.I hope you understand that this claim is going to be a large one as there are several broken beyond repair items as well as a multitude of missing items.*** ***

SHAME ON BEACON AND MOVING! THEY JUST KEEP LYING IT IS SO VERY UNFORTUNATE THAT THERE ARE COMPANIES LIKE THIS AROUND.

Once again I reiterate that I do not have time to play any games. The Beacon driver was at the [redacted] premises all of 10 minutes if that before they left. They did NOT try to rectify the matter by speaking with me while the driver was present. Once my representative told me the driver left without saying a word, I tried calling the company several times and got no answer. It wasn't until I called from a totally different phone number did I get an answer only to be told that they would not be making this move for the $4,000 In one of their previous responses they stated that they would move the 73 items for the $4,000 and nothing more. But they are not willing to do this at all. They are the ones trying to manipulate the system NOT I. I am so very tired of playing this game with them. THEY REFUSED TO DO THE JOB per the agreement. I did not Neither did my representative make any statements such as that. Since they left the premises of their own volition they may as well admit their error and refund my deposit. They are not entitled to keep any monies as they did not keep their part of the agreement. I have no reason to make any false statements because I needed my furniture moved from the [redacted] to the [redacted] Coast and Beacon REFUSED to make this move for me.
