Called and received an estimate for Bekins to pick-up, store, and take my furniture to my new locationI am being charged far more than I was quoted. In August, I contacted Bekins AMovers main office to get a quote to pick-up, store, and bring my belonging to my new location The Sales rep (Lauren P.) gave me an initial quote of $- $to pick-up, store and take my belongings to my new address The initial quote included months of storage On approximately 9/7/16, I contacted Bekins (Brandy W.) to notify them, my plans had changed and I did not need storage for months, but for only month I was then given a quote for $for vaults and one month of storageOn 9/16/16, Bekins picked up my furniture and left me with documentation showing $for vaults, for days of storage A few days afterwards, I noticed Bekins had charged my credit card for $ When I called and asked, what this charge was for, they could not provide me with an answer At the beg

Bekins A-Movers was contracted to piand put my household furniture into their air conditioned storage in their Jacksonville Florida facility until I notified them of a new location and future delivery dateWithin two months I was notified by Bekins that I had days to get my furniture out of their Jacksonville facility or they would move the furniture to Sarasota, FloridaThis was further away from my temporary residence where I was staying in GA I had to hastily find and purchase a house not of my likingBekins was notified by me to deliver my furniture to my new address in Seneca SC and was within the day periodThey showed up with the delivery one day early and late in the afternoonThey hurriedly unloaded the furniture so that they could return to Jacksonville, FL the same dayBecause of this I did not have the opportunity to inspect the furniture and other contentsMy vintage rattan furniture had black mold all over them, their foam cushions were damaged,

I hired Bekins moving solutions to move me from Vista, CA to Mission Viejo, CA.Bekins recommended movers, but said adding a 3rd would be great, so I paid more to get the 3rd mover. The movers broke a $printer and re-imbursed me $for itThey dropped countless boxes on concrete, and were complaining the entire time. The entire experience was ridiculousThey should not be allowed to move anyone with the service I got

In April of 2016, Bekins moved me from Rockwall, TX (single family residence) to an apartment in a high rise in Houston, TX Bekins used a local company to connect my washer, dryer and refrigerator The washer was connected incorrectly and flooded the closet in my apartment and the apartment of my next door neighbor In addition the laundry room in the apartment below me suffered damage The manager and assistant manager of my apartment filed a damage complaint and included the damage to the shoes and purses in the closet of my next door neighbor To date the claims have not been settled and Bekins Relocation Support Services (MSS) are attempting to put the apartment maintenance at default by questioning why they felt the need to change the hose The next door neighbor submitted a claim and provided pictures and now Bekins is requesting additional pictures questioning the designer of the damaged goods It appears they want to put undue burdens on the apartment complex and the

I am rejecting this response because:I was told that the reason the cost was high was due to the time to packThe actual whole point of my ORIGINAL message sent on 6/26/that was never address was that the boxes were 1/packed, overstuffed with packing materials and we even had an EMPTY box. I have many pictures of 1/packed boxesThe number used was probably three times what was necessaryNon breakable items were triple wrapped singularlyTotal waste of time and resourcesLet me just attach a few examples labeled with the issues

My husband and I had a move scheduled for today (Friday)and our movers NEVER SHOWD UP! We were supposed to get a phone call last night confirming the timeThat never happenedWe called the next morning to find out what timeWe had to wait hours for a callback, only to find out bekins was down a truck and the truck would be here at 1:We waited and waited and called back at 2:39, only to be told I just might not happen today, and they were trying to make it happen tomorrow or the following Monday! My husband and I took the day off work to make this move, put our daughter in daycare, and boarded our two dogsSo far we have only been offered a 10% discount for our trouble, which doesn't even begin to cover the money we have lost out onOur entire lives are packed up in boxes and we have nowhere to goWe have lost at least $in lost wages being out of work for the day, and payed $to board our pets, payed to put our child in daycare, not to mention the rent we are paying

It is our understanding that the customer has now received payment for the broken items that were outlined in our settlement letter. As it related to the "water stained" items, we are at a loss to understand how these two items were wet, when none of the other storage items suffered any like
damages. We sent out someone to clean as a gesture of goodwill, and an amicable attempt to settle the matter of a long standing customer. We feel that we have acted appropriately given the circumstances

I moved from SD,CA to Avon,COBekins picked up my belongings on 10/27/We agreed on a time window of 11/1-11/11/17, a contract was signedI received a call from the driver stating that he had a local pickup in Poway,CA on 11/10/and would not be delivering my belongings until earliest 11/16/I spoke with people at Bekins to resolve my issue with no successI first spoke with Mark on 11/3,my relocation consultant, who directed me to corporate for possible compensationsThen I spoke with a women at corporate, on 11/3, who could not help me and told me about safe practices for drivers, which I understand but could not explain the days to move my belongings 900miles nor explain the breach in contractThen I spoke with Janet on 11/4, at bekins corporate, she was also unable to provide any compensation for the breach in contract or rectify the issueJanet was able to make a note on my account for a manager to call me on 11/

I am rejecting this response because: We are not in a position to accept the response until the money that they agreed they would send us is receivedLast week they said it would take up to days for us to receive the insurance money, which is outside the time frame the Revdex.com has given us to respond, and that is why we do not feel comfortable accepting/closing this case yet We hope to receive the money within the next weeks as Bekens has promised and at that time we will revisit this site to accept the settlement and agree to the case being resolved

Bekins Moving Solutions, Inc *** *** *** *** ** *** *** XXXXX) moved us this past February from San Diego County to San Mateo County Unfortunately the packers damaged multiple items (some we witnessed while we were there during packing, and others we didn't find until unpacking) Fortunately we had opted for AND PAID FOR insurance for the move I was put in contact with a claims department (Diana C., Shane W., and Michael R.) It took until July to get an adjustor out and then until October for them to offer a settlement resolution.I agreed to the terms of the settlement, but since then have not received payment for damages I have called multiple Bekins offices, as well as all names listed above at the claims department and have left messages and e-mailsNobody is answering the phone or responding to my inquiries The adjusters determination of damages was $3,and the settlement offer from Michael R(dated Oct 6, 2016) stated that I would be sent the check wi

Unfortunately, that was never transmitted to our Claim Department. We will have the file re-opened, and will send our determination within the next days

Bekins Amoving was chosen randomly as my TSP through the militaryThey moved my items from Texas to Kentucky with minimal issues, with the exception of not telling me that I would not get my belongings for almost two monthsThis was bearable because when I called the company they said they would reimburse me 320$ for rented furniture for me and my wife and childrenThis time I spoke to Mike R*** and he said it was as easy as emailing him the contract, which I didFollowing delivery I claimed damages to my belongings the way the military told me I had toobekins sent someone to my house to verify my claims and then settled on an amountA few weeks later they sent me a check for less than agreed uponThis is when I called to inquire about the 320, and the that was not receivedMy calls were of genuine concern, looking for an answer to WHY? I was not rude and left detailed messages to my concernsI have spoke to three other people from the claims deptthat promi

While we regret that that the customer does not agree with the settlement of the claim, there was no additional valuation procured for the relocation. That being said, in the state of Virginia, the shipment is released at Basic Liability, which provides for a maximum reimbursement of
$per pound, per article. The customer's claim was processed according to this valuation option. We are aware that the csustomer is not satisfied with this determination, but we did process the claim in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the contract for the relocation

We have finalized the settlement of the customer's claim, and a settlement letter was mailed out to the customer on June 16th, outlining our offer

We have contacted the customer and settled their claim. We trust this is satisfactory to the customer
