Their response is an OUTRIGHT LIE!!! The couch was obviously worn somewhat after years When I spoke with the woman who scheduled the repair person to come out to do the repair I told her that I had gotten a new dog that week and he got onto the couch and his claws from jumping up and down cause, some tears in the top layer of leather! They said it was covered and THEY made the appointment for the repair man to come When the repairman came he did not want to hear what had happened! He immediately said that it wasn't covered under the warranty because it was old damage IT WAS NOT OLD DAMAGE! It was from my new dog and I reported it immediately when it happened, to Bernie and Phyls Warranty Dept! Also to be noted was the fact that I specifically asked the salesman when I purchased this set, whether the warranty covered pet damage HE STATED THAT IT DID as long as it wasn't purposely damaged It wasn't The dog got into the living room and jumped up onto the furniture The fact that the furniture was years old may have caused the claws to rip it easier than when I purchased it years earlier, but that is why I purchased the warranty; BECAUSE OF THE GUARANTEES MADE TO ME BY THEIR SALESMAN! The repairman is a liar! It was NEW damage, not wear and tear! As I will state again, and there is no doubt in my mind, Bernie and Phyls sold me this bogus warranty knowing they had no intention of honoring it! I'm sure they hope that people will forget about the warranty and not pursue it once they are declinedThat way they can pocket the money for the useless Warranties they sell to peopleThank you for your understanding and help in this matter

Certainly the furniture is covered by the warrantyWe do have a technician scheduled to go out to the home to assess the issuesWe do need to make an assessment before making any determination on how to proceedOnce the technician has been out to the home we will follow up with the customerI do
see the report from the independent mattress inspectors who stated the foundation was defective and so that was replacedThe impression in the mattress is 3/4" which is a body impression. Mattresses are designed to conform to the body/bodies using the mattress and will form body impressionsImpressions up to 1/2" are and to be expectedThis is not a defect

Bottom line, This has been the worst experience with Bernie and Phyls (including this process with the Revdex.com). I don't not want MORE stuffing for the cushions when the frame of the couch is and HAS been the PROBLEM from the start. I don't want a replacement couchI want monetary compensation for this defective piece of junk they call furniture.

These pieces were purchased in June They had a year warrantyNo additional warranty was purchasedAs a time courtesy we can allow a reselection at 50% of what was paid for the piecesThe customer can call into our customer care department to discuss this option at ***,

We apologize for any troubleWhen the drivers arrived at the home, the gentleman who was at the home was unsure what the customer wanted to accept and what he did not want to acceptSo he took photos and sent them to the customerWhen he did not get a response he told the drivers they could leave
the merchandise and when the customer got home he could decide what he wanted to keep and what he wanted to returnHe signed for the delivery and the drivers moved onThe customer called the driver about an hour after they left looking for them to go backAt that point they had moved on to other customers and were no longer in the areaWe do have a pick up scheduled for this coming Saturday with no pick up charge

I DO NOT accept their response! Again, I reiterate, THEY ARE LYING!!! I will also be reporting this to the Attorney General's OfficeTheir deceptive/dishonest business practice and their misrepresentation of their "bogus" Warranty need to be addressed!!! The customer did have an issue with the wooden slats under the mattress and box spring breaking multiple timesWe have since sent out a metal support at no charge to the cusotmer

A technician was sent out to the home and found no defectClean fabric is not a defect in manufacturingWe do recommend professional upholstery cleaningWhen closing the footrest, one should remain seated squarely in the seat and not lean forwardIf the customer feels the issue was with the mechanism rather than a center of gravity issue, we can send a technician out to assess the mechanism

Mold comes from a poor product and has caused health problems in our homeThe internet ids fill of these complaints but your store never alerted me to the fact that memory foam moldsFix this

We did send a technician out to the customers home, however the technician found multiple accumulations of damage across both the sofa and loveseat with damage from pet claws. Multiple accumulation of damage is not covered by the warranty. This information is stated in the warranty. A...

refund check was mailed out on May 21st for the cost of the warranty.

Our apologies. We had ordered parts from the manufacturer and have not received all parts in. I will have a reselection keyed for the 2 piece sectional. You may go into any of our locations to select something new. If you select something more expensive you would be responsible for the difference....

When we deliver your new selection we will remove this 2 piece sectional. We ask that you make your reselection within the next 2 weeks.

The written letter was requested and sent out yesterday.

[Yes there were stains that were in the couch the solution that was provided to me  didn't work. I knew there might be a possibility that they would not clean them which was fine. I brought my own attachment to my vacuum cleaner to clean them which I did. My issues is that the disrespect of the staff that I was given as a customer. There was paper work that was left in my home with remarks that wasn't true. Along with someone telling me that the whole in the couch could not be fixed because you no longer deal with the company. How is that fair has a customer no one tired to help when it came to that it was just we don't  deal . When the whole was put into the couch I called them within the time I should have. It was stated that I had broken the pieces on the chair. I don't remember ever stating That I was the individual who had broken the chair. That furniture had stayed in in storage well protected. Once I moved into my homed the couches   never got connected  until the day I called them and realized it wouldn't attach. As far as the leg there was nothing wrong I had already been living in my home for  6 months I went to   move the chair to sweep and the leg came off.  One of the  worst companies I have ever dealt with. When buying the protection they say all these great things but when dealing with the corporate they are very nasty. [redacted]'s  would of never treated there customers the way they treat there customers. I really wish I could give these couches back it was a waste if my money. I will never do business with this company again and I will not allow people I know to do business because  the  way I was treated. It would be wonderful if this complaint could get to someone that matters. Your  staff absolutely need better customer service training.
