The customer contacted us for an issue with the computer as she was getting some message on her computer screen indicating some issue with one of her software that she had on her computer. Our technical department worked on her computer and fixed that error after which she confirmed that
everything was working fine on the computer The payment on the customer credit has not yet been processed as we were unable to contact the customer for a follow up regarding the work that was doneWe at Best Tech follow fair business practices and do not access or keep a record of any of the personal information of the customerWe believe in 100% customer satisfaction and contact each of our customer’s for a feedback / follow up for the work before any payment is processed Since we were not able to get in touch with the customer and that is the same reason the transaction was never sent out for clearing to customer’s bankThe customer can check with her credit card company and can confirm that the amount which she paid was never collected by us However, we would still like to apologize to the customer for any misunderstanding that took place and would like to inform them that we will not be processing any charge on their Credit Card as they are not interested in getting services from usMoreover, if they still come across any problem with the computer, they can still feel free to contact us for any help or information that they need

I would very much like to know how this business came to have access to my parent's computer in order to suggest that they had a virus It was a pthat said there was a virus and to call the business's number...it was not a message that they received from their anti-virus software Does this not qualify as Phishing?
The complaint will be resolved to my satisfaction when my parents confirm that their visa has not been billed or that the money has been refunded if it was billed I am waiting for that message from my parents.

The customer contacted us for an issue with the computerwhere all the files on his computer were infected by a Ransom Ware named*** (Ref:- ***)We had to wipe clean the customer’s computer as all the files on thatcomputer was encrypted
and keeping those files would have led to computergetting infected again and again. Even if the customer had bought a new computer it would nothave fixed the problem since the infection was passed onto all the devicesconnected on the network and that is what the Representative informed thecustomerHad we have not contained the virus from damaging files on otherdevices connected on the network, the customer would have lost the data fromthe other devices as well.As far as our relationship with *** is concerned, weare a *** Silver partner company which can be verified by visiting our*** Pinpoint Page (Ref:- ***) The customer was contacted for a follow up regarding thework that was done, since we were not able to contact the customer for aconfirmation for the work done, we did not process the cheque which wasprovided to us by the customerWe at Best Tech believe in 100% customersatisfaction before any payment is processed and that is the same reason thecheque was never sent out for clearing to customer’s bank accountThe estimateprovided to the customer was for one computer, since the customer was having 2computers and other device like Smartphone and tablets, the price was changed asother devices were also added to the support subscription.However, we would still like to apologize to the customerfor any misunderstanding that took place and would like to inform them thattheir cheque has not been processed and will not be processed as they are notinterested in getting services from usWhatever work that has been done ontheir computer would be considered as a courtesy gesture from our side.Moreover, if they still come across any problem with the computer, they canstill feel free to contact us for any help or information that they need

Hi, The customer contacted our support services in the month of July and got work done on his computerHe purchased a support plan for his computer and was provided with assistance during his support plan whenever he contacted us.The support plan duration of the customer has already
expired and as per our refund policy we can issue a refund within days of initial subscriptionIn this case, since the customer's support plan has already expired, we shall not issue any refund to this customer. Regards, Best Tech

Hi,The customer was contacted on *** of August by our Billing Supervisor and as per their mutual agreement over the phone, a refund of $has been issued to the customer via a Cheque, which would be sent to the customer through mailThe customer has sent a confirmation email accepting the
refund amount and would be contacting Better Buisness Bureau in order to close the complaint once she gets the Cheque Regards,Best Tech

[Best Tech 247's response is untruthfulThe number on the pwent directly to their businessI have documentation supporting thisIn addition, I would like to add that after Best Tech "cleaned and cleared" my computer of all viruses and malware, and charged me $299, I took my computer to the Geek Squad for a full diagnostic check They found viruses or traces of viruses, and one BSOD (Black Screen of Death) buried inside my computer. Best Tech is a fake Microsoft Support Scam operation, that uses a malicious pthat freezes your computer and directs you to call them to "fix it"They do not fix it, they instead load your computer with more viruses and BSOD, so you will keep returning to them and they can continue extracting excessive fees from you.Their scam is explained perfectly by the Revdex.com in this article: ***

The customer was not contacted by our company after his services were cancelled in the month of JuneThe call that he received may have been from some one else or from some other company.We do not have any valid support or association with the customer as his services were cancelled after he

Hi, We informed the customer's daughter as well and would like to re-iterate the same thingNo call was made to the customer from our side and the part in which the supervisor mentioned that the representative went against the company policy was in reply to the question asked by the
customer's daughter where she asked "if jenny represents to be a part of AOL is it standard company policy or not" and at that time since the supervisor was not able to validate if the call was indeed from us or from someone else he told the customer's daughter that "if anyone from our company did that, it was against the company policy" as we at Best Tech do not follow such practicesCustomer said that she got a call from someone named Sally who also represented herself as a part of Best Tech 247. The Supervisor told the customer about cold callers as well who pretend to be from the support company and take remote access of the computer, once they get access to the computer, they use the information saved on the computer to scam users and in this case, since our company information was saved on customer's computer (Common practice that we follow so that customer can contact us using that contact information) the caller might have used that same information to lure the customer info believing that she was talking to usWhen contacted back by the supervisor to investigate the issue further, customer's daughter insisted on not getting any more calls from our company on this issue. As far as refunds are concerned, we will not be issuing any refunds to the customer as they have been using the services since January of and we cannot issue a refund after months of service period

The customer contacted us on *** of November
for an issue with the computer as she was getting message on her computer
from her antivirus program that her computer was infected.? Our technical
department worked on her computer and cleaned the virus infection and updated
the security
on the computer as well as the firewall settings on the network
and computer.After the work was done, the customer was contacted by our
billing supervisor on *** of November for a feedback for the
work and to verify the subscription detailsThe customer confirmed that
everything was working fine on their computer and authorized us to process the
charge towards their credit card.The customer’s daughter contacted us on *** of
November itself seeking a refund and was informed that we haven’t processed the
charge on her parents credit card yet and that the amount would be reflected
back to their account within next business days (which is the time taken by
bank to release the blocked payment).This customer has already been refunded and we do not owe
any other amount to this customerThe complainant’s accusation of we being a
scam company are baseless as if that would have been the case, we would not
have given her parents a follow up call the next day to take an authorization
before processing the charge and would not have offered her a refund when she
contacted usRather, if we would have been a scam company, we would not have
provided her with a reachable number and the company’s name and would have disappeared
after taking money from her parents
