Hi,The customer contacted us regarding the issue with his computer and not the other way aroundHis services with our company had expired and that is when he was informed to renew the services to which he agreed originallyMoreover, the charge was never processed from our side as we were unable to
speak to the customer in order to process the chargeAt this point we do not owe anything to this customer and all his services stand cancelled with our company.? In case customer still needs any assistance or clarification, he can contact us on our toll free numbers

We are not too sure what pop up message the complainant is
referring to. We were contacted by her parents on our toll free number which
can easily be obtained after performing a [redacted] or [redacted] search for
Computer Support. Once we were contacted by the Customer, they told us that
there was a message on their computer stating that their computer was infected.
We took a remote access to their computer after taking their consent and by the
time we had the remote access to their computer there was no pop up message,
rather when we performed a scan on their computer we discovered that their
computer was infected by virus/Trojan.Moreover,  the charge
to customer’s credit card was cancelled upon receiving a call from their Daughter
(Complainant) and the money was never taken from their account. The complainant
can contact the bank to verify that. Regards,Best Tech 247

The customer contacted us for an issue with the computer as his [redacted] Antivirus was not working and he was informed about us being a third party company providing support for computes.  Our technical department worked on his computer and activated his [redacted] Antivirus protection on the computer...

after which he confirmed that everything was working fine on the computer. The Cheque provided by the customer has not yet been processed as we were unable to contact the customer for a follow up regarding the work that was done. We at Best Tech 247 believe in 100% customer satisfaction before any payment is processed and that is the same reason the Cheque was never sent out for clearing to customer’s bank account.We have already forwarded the customer’s feedback to the concerned department and if the information mentioned in the complaint is found to be true, strict actions will be taken against the agents involved. However, we would still like to apologize to the customer for any misunderstanding that took place and would like to inform them that their Cheque has not been processed and will not be processed as they are not interested in getting services from us.  Moreover, if they still come across any problem with the computer, they can still feel free to contact us for any help or information that they need.

I would very much like to know how this business came to have access to my parent's computer in order to suggest that they had a virus.  It was a pop-up that said there was a virus and to call the business's number...it was not a message that they received from their anti-virus software.  Does this not qualify as Phishing?The complaint will be resolved to my satisfaction when my parents confirm that their visa has not been billed or that the money has been refunded if it was billed.  I am waiting for that message from my parents.

That is a lie, The gentleman William contacted me from the company not once but twice,.  I paid $999.00 for 4 years of service, a couple of months LATER and being threatened that my computer will  be infected with viruses and my fear is they had remote access to my computer and I don't know if they are still in there.  I have attached a copy of the fact that I paid for 4 years.  I agree I used their services and I originally paid $500.00, they gained my trust that is why when the next "threat" came up I paid the $999.00,(which was very hard to pay) but then a couple of months later they threatened again and wanted more money. I know I am not entitled to the $500.00 and I'm ok with that, but now that I am aware they are not what they seem after I did my research, I just never want anyone else to go through what I went through.  I am an intelligent person but I have very poor computer skills and very fearful of identity fraud and having it stolen, But I feel I was totally taken by this company.

The customer was not contacted by our company after his services were cancelled in the month of June. The call that he received may have been from some one else or from some other company.We do not have any valid support or association with the customer as his services were cancelled after he...

customer has mentioned that the payment was made to some company named [redacted] located in China. We would like to advice the customer to dispute this charge with her bank in case she needs her money back. We at Best Tech 247 would not be able to provide any assistance to the customer in getting her money back since the payment was never made to us and the customer never spoke to us for any issues related to her computer. [The response received by Best Tech 247 is untruthful and completely inaccurate for the reasons below:1)  The company claims no phone call was made to me "on their end".  I received, and still have, the following voicemail dated Aug [redacted], 2016 at 3:41pm est: " Hi [redacted], this is Jenny. I am calling you from the AOL support company, your case ID [redacted]. If you remember you contacted us in the month of January. Your email and your computer was hacked. You paid us money and we installed the securities on your computer. From the last couple of days we are getting some block on the securities so whenever you get back to this voice message please call us back on ###-###-#### or [redacted]. You need to call back and ask for my name Jenny or my extension 427. …..this is a security issue so we are calling you. Do call us back as soon as possible and do ask for my name Jenny. Thank you and have a blessed day. "  When returning the call to the 800# provided, representatives do not initially identify the name of the company when answering.  However when asked they confirm "this is Best Tech 247".  This confirms a call was made from Best Tech 247.2)  Other cold callers and scammers remotely accessing my computer is invalid because the phone call was received from Jenny, not any other company or representative.  When returning her call to the 800# above, which has now been identified as Best Tech 247's 800#, and requesting the extension number provided in the same voicemail, Jenny answered.  Therefore Jenny is reachable at Best Tech 247's 800#.3)  The response regarding a refund is not acceptable, nor surprising, given the lack of service I've received during this entire experience.  No valuable service was provided me by Best Tech 247, nor any valuable response.]

While their response is, in the most technical sense, correct and acceptable, this is only so because I was able to prevent them getting the last monies requested. It should be noted that files they placed on my system were removed by Malwarebites software

The customer contacted us on [redacted] of November
2015 for an issue with the computer as she was getting message on her computer
from her antivirus program that her computer was infected.  Our technical
department worked on her computer and cleaned the virus infection and updated
the security...

on the computer as well as the firewall settings on the network
and computer.After the work was done, the customer was contacted by our
billing supervisor on [redacted] of November 2015 for a feedback for the
work and to verify the subscription details. The customer confirmed that
everything was working fine on their computer and authorized us to process the
charge towards their credit card.The customer’s daughter contacted us on [redacted] of
November itself seeking a refund and was informed that we haven’t processed the
charge on her parents credit card yet and that the amount would be reflected
back to their account within next 5 business days (which is the time taken by
bank to release the blocked payment).This customer has already been refunded and we do not owe
any other amount to this customer. The complainant’s accusation of we being a
scam company are baseless as if that would have been the case, we would not
have given her parents a follow up call the next day to take an authorization
before processing the charge and would not have offered her a refund when she
contacted us. Rather, if we would have been a scam company, we would not have
provided her with a reachable number and the company’s name and would have disappeared
after taking money from her parents.

The customer contacted our company regarding a refund request and agreed upon a partial refund, however a refund was never issued to the customer as our billing team was not able to get in touch with the customer to confirm the account details on which the refund was supposed to be issued.
Our billing team tried to contact this customer a couple of times, however were not able to get in touch with him. Finally we were able to speak to the customer on [redacted] of September 2014 and we came to know that the customer was not happy with the partial refund and our billing [redacted] decided to issue him a full refund and offered him a complementary support of one year. He confirmed the account details with the customer and we got to know that account which was used to make the payment is no longer active so the [redacted] took the account details on which he needs the refund. A paper Cheque has been mailed to the customer from our office on [redacted] of Sept 2014 through regular mail (USPS) and he should be getting that cheque anytime within next 5 business days. The same thing has been informed to the customer.
Please let us know if anything else is required in order to get this matter resolved.
