Review: There does not seem to be an option under "primary nature of your complaint" for price gouging. However that is what "Best Time Entertainment" has done. I purchased 4 tickets for a theater performance through a third party on-line vendor, [redacted], who had passed the tickets on to me with additional processing fees (about $50 for 4 tickets). Best Time Entertainment had purchased the tickets from [redacted] for $25 each. They marked them up to $51 each. When I called on the phone, the representative admitted having purchased the tickets for $25 each and reselling them for $51 each. But when I suggested that this was an unreasonable markup and asked if they could do anything about it, the representative immediately retreated to overtures about fair market value, legalities, and the fact that I had agreed to the purchase. There was no offer to make things reasonable. When I then explained calmly that I would be contacting the Revdex.com and any appropriate authorities, the representative accused me of bullying. At this point, I explained that I was not bullying, but rather telling her what I was about to do. I then attempted to explain that regardless of legalities, she still had a moral obligation to do what is right and suggested that she find employment with an honest company. During this explanation, she broke the phone connection. I imagine there is nothing I can do about it now, but perhaps I am not alone in my naivety about crooks like these; and it seems that their practices should be exposed.Desired Settlement: I would like to see them refund the difference between what I paid for the tickets and the actual market value of the tickets. I seems that a very aggressive markup of 30% would be better than the price gouging 100% markup that they charged. Also, I would like them to voluntarily change their business model such that they are no longer scalping their customers.

Review: I purchased 4 tickets from Best Time Entertainment on Jan.4,2015 for the Motown Musical Show being held on Feb.15,2015. Due to very bad Blizzard conditions in [redacted]. & in my hometown of [redacted] we were unable to travelto [redacted] because [redacted] announced that all forms of travel into [redacted] was shutdown and he didn't want anyone on the streets of [redacted] due to bad weather conditions. Although the show wasn't cancelled we had no way or could get into the city of [redacted]. We live an hour away and had planned to take the Commuter Rail into [redacted] but that was shut down. I would like to get a refund/credit to my card for these 4 tickets that totaled $372.50 plus I also purchased insurance for the tickets for $25. . I contacted Best Time Entertainment and they told me there were no refunds unless the show was cancelled. This was a special circumstance due to the weather that we had no control of. Your consideration in this important matter is greatly appreciate.

Review: I purchased two tickets to an event at the [redacted]. when I went to the website to purchase my tickets there were two prices for said tickets. general admission was $48 and seated tickets were $101. I have a bad leg and back so I purched the seated tickets so I would have a gauranteed place to sit. the seats are in section 26 row 1-12. when I called to confirm my tickets I was told the event was all general admission so my seats are no longer gauranteed. I said thats fine just reimburse me the extra money I paid for seated tickets and i'll pay the general admission price. after pleading my case that why should I have to pay $101 for seats that are no longer gauranteed to me I was told no refundDesired Settlement: I would like to pay for general admission tickets and a full refund of the extra money i'm owed. and an apology

Review: In December 2014, I purchased two tickets to a [redacted] concert scheduled to take place in [redacted] on Friday, May 22nd, 2015 at the [redacted] in [redacted]). The concert was cancelled. THE PUBLIC WERE NOT NOTIFIED. I met an elderly couple who travelled from [redacted] to attend the concert. They even rented hotel accommodation for their stay. You can well imagine our disappointment. I paid an amount of 318.72USD for the tickets and would like to have my reimbursement processed ASAP. I can be reached at [redacted] (Even the note on the [redacted] doors just advised that the concert was cancelled without any explanations. This is what I call treating people shabbily. You might argue and say that this was not the fault of [redacted] but that of the [redacted]). I, personally, believe that if the latter were provided with an explanation - they would have passed this information along. Thank you. [redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund Cheque

Please be advised that the above complaint has been resolved. THank you for your assistance.

Review: I purchased 5 tickets to [redacted] on January 22, 2014. On their website you have the ability to pick your seats, which I did....I selected section 101 row A! I was also charged the highest price for the tickets because if the front row seating I selected at a charge of $53 per ticket. I chose those seats because I was taking my 2 year old grandson for his birthday and because he is quite small for his age, I wanted nothing blocking our view! The tickets were mailed to me however, when I opened the package I didn't bother to look at the seat assignment because I would've cancelled then. We went to the show on February 7, 2014 and went to sit in the seats I ordered and their were people sitting in them....I explained to them it must be an error and I pulled my tickets out and realized that not only were we not sitting front row, we were not even in the correct section I ordered. The tickets I received were for Section 102 Row Z! The seats were at the very top- after 30 minutes of my grandson not being able to see we left and I contacted Best Time Entertainment only to be told that I got what I ordered!! The man explained to me that on their website it says seats A-AA which is classified as A to Z and then the AA starts it all over again!! Their website does not tell you that so it's misleading! Also, the higher the seats went, the less you paid per ticket however, I was not credited anything when they moved my seat selection from A to Z, I was still charged full price. So, they allow you to pick the best seats and pay full price and then send you tickets for the worst seats, not even in the right section and charge you the original amount! My email receipt is for Section 101 and they gave me Section 102- I disputed this charge on my credit card the same day and it's still ongoing because they have requested further information. Best Time Entertainment is going on the premise that Seats A thru AA include row Z so I got what I paid for....Desired Settlement: I would like to have my credit card refunded for the entire amount of purchase which was $354.20 and I would like them to be clearer on their website so when people request certain seating they know exactly what their getting. You can't allow people to pay for something based on misleading information!!

Review: Bought tickets for a concert that is to take place on December 26, 2015 at the [redacted] in St. Louis. I purchased these online and was expecting the advertised seats of Section 112 Row KK, which I chose specifically because I wanted seats in the last row of the section. When they emailed the tickets a couple days later, I was given tickets in Section 107 Row JJ. When contacting support I was told they refused to give me the tickets I ordered. When asking for my money back, they refused to give me a refund.

The invoice number for my order is[redacted].Desired Settlement: Ideally, the company will resolve this by giving the correct tickets, but this is unlikely given the short time frame they have to remedy this issue. If they cannot give the proper tickets 24 hours before the concert at 8pm, December 26, 2014, then I would like a refund for the amount paid ($205.86)

Review: My fianc and I purchased tickets from Best Time Entertainment for [redacted] the musical performing in [redacted]. We in good faith paid $583.70 for 2 tickets which were misrepresented on their website as being near the front of the theater. Upon arrival we discovered that for $583.70 we were seated 4 rows from the back. Neither one of us can see that far and we left after the first act. On Feb 12 2014 I contacted them for at least a partial refund and was refused. I do believe we deserve at least that much considering their seating chart is completely misleading.Desired Settlement: Half of the amount we paid

Review: I ordered 8 ticksts for[redacted] in one section above the floor on 11/17/2014 for $51.00 each so my children could see better. I never received the tickets until Jan 2, 2014 the show was on [redacted] when we got there are tickets were the worst seats in the house ony 6 rows behind us ,my girlfriend bought these seats for $20.00. I have since looked up this company on line to see this is what they do have you pay for good seats then send bad seats tickets at the last minute.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund I paid $525 8 tickets at $51.00 plus $15 for shipping and $102 for other expenses (God only knows what this is) I did not receive what I paid for. Thank You for your help!

Review: My husband went online to surprise his family with [redacted] on ice tickets for November 7 2013. Somehow he got redirected online to this company called "Best Time Entertainment" and so they charged us $136.00 per ticket for $33 tickets, plus an additional $85 service fees on top of it all. The night cost us $504 and it should of only cost us $120. My husband printed the tickets and they are ticketed through ticket master, in which online those seats go for $33 dollars each. This company does not sound legit, it is the same person answering the phone, however when you call he make it seems that its a big company and your call may be monitored for training purposes. They sound like scalpers to me.Desired Settlement: Refund of $380.00. The 3 tickets should have cost $99.00 plus ant other additional fees.

Case [redacted]

To whom it may

concern,

Thank you for

taking the time to contact us on this matter.

Mr [redacted]

purchased our tickets on a website that is not owned or operated by Best Time

Entertainment. Within the secondary ticket market we list all of our tickets

through a network that distributes them to many websites to advertise and sell

online.

When Mr [redacted] placed his order from his computer at the

website, [redacted], he was obliged to review his order and accept

that website's terms and conditions before his order was complete. These terms

and conditions clearly state:

General. [redacted] acts as an

intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to

facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly

involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET

SELLERS. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained

through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual TICKET

SELLER, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

The website terms and conditions were available

to Mr [redacted] as a scroll box during the checkout process and as a link on

each page of the site. If Mr [redacted] did not click on the "yes" button on

the checkout page that asks "Have you read and do you agree to our terms

and policies," the software would have removed him from the checkout page

and he would not have been able to go on to complete his order. Also, the total

price, including service fees and delivery charges, was given to him before he

gave his credit card information and completed his order. Mr [redacted] chose

to comply with the price and the terms before sending his final order for

processing.

Mr [redacted] never

contacted our Customer Service Department with any

questions or for any clarification of the pricing and terms and conditions

before placing his order. If he was unsure about the order he was placing, he

could have called our customer service number prior to placing his order.

Mr [redacted] was aware that all sales are final, tickets may be sold above

face value and that www. [redacted] is neither a primary sale box

office nor the venue. Mr [redacted] freely chose acceptance of the price and the

terms and conditions. He made a conscious and educated decision to purchase

tickets at the price he agreed to.

There is no refund due.

Review: I ALWAYS TRUST THAT I AM PAYING FOR A SERVICE AS ADVERTISED. I PAID $400.00 IN TOTAL FOR TWO TICKETS THAT WERE FOR PREMIUM SEATING FOR A THEATER PRODUCTION, AND WHEN WE ARRIVED OUR TICKETS WERE FOR SEATS IN THE WORST OF LOCATIONS. I WAS STUNNED,ASSUMING THE THEATER HAD MADE A MISTAKE, BUT THE TICKETS ISSUED TO US WERE THE PROBLEM. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. STAY AWAY FROM BEST TIME ENTERTAINMENT! THERE SEEMS TO BE NO REFUND POSSIBLE IN THIS SCAM!Desired Settlement: $400.00 IS NOT TOO MUCH TO PAY FOR PREMIUM SEATING FOR A THEATER PRODUCTION, BUT WHEN THE SEATING IS IN THE CHEAP SEAT SECTION, THEN THE COST OF THE TICKET SHOULD REFLECT THAT. "ALL SALES FINAL" SHOULD APPLY TO ALL PRODUCT AS ADVERTISED, NOT FOR A MISREPRESENTED PRODUCT!

Review: I purchased tickets for the [redacted] show at the [redacted] of [redacted] from Best Time Entertainment online. The listing was confusing at the least, and I now believe, purposely misleading. I purchased what I believed were tickets in sections 201 or 230, for a fairly high price, $82 each, plus $46.04 in fees, but then received tickets that were in section 212. I am not complaining about the cost however, 212 is BEHIND THE STAGE!!! On other ticket sale sites the sections with obscured views are indicated at the time of purchase, but not here. When I called to express my dissatisfaction with the tickets provided I got a lecture on the meaning of a hyphen and was told all sales are final per the terms I had accepted online, and there are no exchanges, refunds, etc. If I had been given the proper disclosure on the tickets at the time of the sale I would not made this purchase.

Product_Or_Service: Concert Tickets

Order_Number: XXXXX

Account_Number: XXXXX

Desired Settlement: I would like tickets with a clear view of the stage and for the seller to change their deceptive practices regarding seat locations with partial / obscured views. Seats in any of the following sections: 201, 215, 216, 217, 218, 219, 220, 221, 222, 223, 224, 225, 226, 227, 228, 229, or 230, would be acceptable.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

Unfortunately, this is not a response to my complaint. What they state is factually correct, but does not address the issue. My complaint is that Best Time Entertainment's ticket solicitations are purposely vague and that their purchase policy is intentionally deceptive, allowing them to sell sub-standard, obstructed-view tickets at premium prices without disclosing this information in advance. What I requested as a remedy were different tickets and that they change their disclosure practices. They did neither and continue to defend their unscrupulous actions.

Review: I purchased tickets to see an author give a presentation in [redacted]. I purchased the tickets, and then realized that I could get better seats (better than the "premium" seat) for significantly less.I called the company immediately, within an hour of my original purchase, to request a refund. I was told that there was no way to refund my purchase price; all sales were final. I informed him that there was no sale yet, as the purchase had not been deducted from my account, and to please cancel the order. He was very rude and confrontational on the phone, telling me that I was causing damage to his family by making my request. I told him that I would be contacting the company that he purchased the tickets through to gather more options. That company, [redacted], was very nice and helpful and gave me several options of what Best Time Entertainment could do to fix the situation. [redacted] informed me that Best Time Entertainment can, indeed, refund my ticket purchase. When I called the company back, I was again rudely informed that [redacted] was incorrect, and he would not be doing any of those things.I told him that I had tried to work with him to resolve this issue nicely, but he had left me no choice but to dispute the charge when it came through. He told me that I was more than welcome to try to dispute the charge, but I would not be getting my money back from him in any way, shape or form.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund in the amount of $203.52 for the tickets that I purchased.

Consumer

Response:

The response indicates that the tickets were purchased

through an intermediary site, which is correct.

However, when [redacted].com was contacted, they referred me to the

individual broker, Best Time Entertainment as the person who had the authority

to cancel the order. They are also the

company that billed my card and would provide the tickets.

The terms and conditions stated that all sales are

final. There was no sale. At the time my request to cancel a pending

order was made, there was no final sale.

There was no money deducted from my account, and I did not have the

tickets in my possession.

The additional fees and costs were not disclosed until

after my credit card information was submitted.

At this time, I still have not taken possession of the

tickets. I did not use them at the

event, which was Thursday, October 10th. My

request to cancel my pending order was made the same day, September 24th,

sixteen days before the event. The

company had ample time to find other buyers for his tickets, if he had

purchased them in the hour between my original order and my request to cancel

the pending order. From my

understanding, the event was sold out.

Business

Response:

As soon as Ms. [redacted] pressed the “complete sale” button on the website checkout her sale was final and complete. We do not have “pending orders”, once an order is sent to our company it is considered complete and final per terms and conditions that the customer agreed to when placing her order.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions for us.

I am rejecting this response because: there was no attempt by the business to resolve this issue. The company's website said that the order was pending when I put in my confirmation number to check my order status.

Review: I was charged $217.46 for tickets with a face value of $46.00 each(2). I was never informed of the actual price of the tickets. This is deceptive.

They should inform you before you purchase the actual face price of the tickets.Desired Settlement: Refund of the unfair charges above the actual price. Actual price $90.00. I feel I should be refunded $100.00

Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2013/09/06) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

Nowhere in the sight did it list the actgual face value of the tickets which I feel is deceptive and unfair.

Review: Purchased expensive tickets for what were represented as front row terrace seats. What was received were not the first row but the last row in the terrace! Best time claims that it was selling a range of row tickets. If this were true it would have listed the tickets as simply North Terrace. Standard in the business is not to sell a range of rows that the seats could possibly be in but rather a specific row and perhaps a range of seats for that row. This is deceptive advertising, MANY complaints have been files against this company for THE SAME EXACT THING.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $300 dollars of the $590.00 purchase.

Review: I purchased tickets online for [redacted] and on the ticket page it guaranteed rows A - J.Instead they sent row K to the side which is not what I clicked on.Also, I found better seats on another website at half of the price and immediately called to cancel. I emailed and phoned several times and no one got back to me. These tickets were ordered on 12/5/2013 and the event was for 1/7/2014. I disputed the charge and finally fedexed the tickets back to them in plenty of time before the event. The event came and went and I AM STILL BEING CHARGED FOR AN EVENT THAT I NEVER ATTENDED.This is a fraudulent company and a scam.Desired Settlement: They have not responded to my repeated request to resolve this. I am forced to take them to small claims court.

Review: I purchased tickets through Best Time Entertainment online for the [redacted] Concert at the [redacted] State Fair. After I realized they were selling tickets for way over purchase price, I contacted them and asked for a refund which they refused to give me. This practice is extremely upsetting and is unethical. I consider this to be price gouging. The ticket price is $25 and they were charging $51, a service fee of $10.20, and e-ticket charge of $7.50 for a total of $$68.70. I bought 4 tickets. I don't really understand the e-ticket charge since the tickets came in the mail and were printed tickets. I don't mind paying a service fee but this is ridiculous. When I called I had not received the tickets yet, so I can't understand why they could not refund my money. I contacted the company and the only solutions they offered me was a 10% discount on my next purchase. I explained to them that I would never purchase anything from them again because the ticket price was so outrageous. They said they sold the tickets for above purchase price because they were hard to get tickets. I seriously doubt [redacted] concerts tickets are in that high demand. I called the [redacted] State Fair office and they had plenty of tickets left after I spoke with Best Time. If this type of company wouldn't purchase these tickets at cost and then charge so much more then concert goers would have a better selection of tickets without having to pay an outrageous amount. Thank you in advance.Desired Settlement: The total price I paid for 4 tickets was $252.30. I would like a refund for the amount over purchase price of $100.00 which totals $152.30. If I have to pay a fee to distribute I am o.k. with that but not the $40.80.

Review: The sales woman over the phone told me about an option for tickets. I wouldn't have an exact seating for several days however it was cheaper because of it.When I got the tickets it's over priced by $50 for the surrounding seats that I could have bought on [redacted]. I called to get a resolution and the lady told me to call back. Said that who sold me the tickets doesn't work for them. That I would have to call them, which of course is impossible to do. She told me to call back from 9-5, it was 4:30. When I asked for her a name so that I could tell the next person I talk to who I spoke to in the past she refused to give me her last name. She did everything in her power to stone wall me.Desired Settlement: I want the fair ticket value. They're essentially on-line scalpers and misrepresented the value of the tickets.

Review: This web site is selling tickets online for 300% more than they are worth. When I called them about a refund they simply told me no, I asked about a price match, again they just said no. I asked what my options were and they said there wasn't any. I called this company within an hour of purchasing the tickets. I feel like they should not be allowed to do this to anyone its not fair or right. Thank you very much for your time.Desired Settlement: I would like to know why these theater tickets cost 300% more through them than anyone else.

Review: I purchased premium tickets on August 3,2012, for an entertainment event. The tickets were priced for a premium seating section noted on my invoice. However, the tickets I actually received were not located in this section and were of lesser quality seating and value. I paid Best Time $402.00 for 2 tickets. The price printed on each of the two tickets was $25.00. For the tickets I received I should have paid no more than $100 after fees, etc. However, I paid Best Time 4X more for what I thought was close up premium seating.I notified Best Time's customer service asking for a refund. They said all sales were final. I asked for a price reduction and that was not honored as well. I feel Best Time misleads the customer and their prices are exorbitantly higher than if you would purchase tickets directly from the entertainer or venue. I feel Best Times's online advertising is geared to lure the customer in to purchasing from their service with the false pretense that you will be getting premium seating but this was not te case for me. I will never do business with Best Time in the future and will not recommend them to others.

This company has no integrity. I had purchased tickets to a [redacted] concert when came into a very controversial situation. I contacted the seller of the concert tickets, [redacted], as they had said they will REFUND THE COST OF THE TICKETS TO ANYONE THAT WANTED A TICKET. After 10 days of calling this company, a 3rd party ticket seller which was unwilling to refund the money to me. It is now in the hands of the credit card with evidence that [redacted] did indeed refund more than 1200 tickets.
