Best Time Entertainment Reviews (48)

Review: I bought tickets to [redacted] in July. 2013 thinking I was getting tickets to a bought out show from the venue box office.

I bought 2 tickets that on the real venue site was 42.00 Best time entertainment was 3x that amount. When I finally realized that I wasn't buying from the venue box office, it was too late. I realized something wasn't right immediately after I could not select my seat. I called to inquiry about the seating and he said that they would select and give me the best seat available. The email came with the tickets attached and guess what they were not the best available I purchased 75.00 seats and we are sitting in the 42.00 seats. What a rip off called back and let the gentleman know I was unhappy. His reply no one told you -you had to purchase them-and I gave you the best I had not the venue. Someone needs to shut them down they are scammers. The site even says to call why call when they aren't willing to help you.Desired Settlement: The difference between the 75.00 seat and 42.00 seat.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us on this matter.

Mr [redacted] purchased our tickets on a website that is not owned or operated by Best Time Entertainment. Within the secondary ticket market we list all of our tickets through a network that distributes them to many websites to advertise and sell online.

When Mr [redacted] placed his order from his computer at the website, [redacted], he was obliged to review his order and accept that website's terms and conditions before his order was complete. These terms and conditions clearly state:

General. [redacted] acts as an intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers ("TICKET SELLERS") to facilitate the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. All sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the secondary market and prices are determined by the individual TICKET SELLER, the prices for tickets may be above or below face value.

The website terms and conditions were available to Mr [redacted] as a scroll box during the checkout process and as a link on each page of the site. If Mr [redacted] did not click on the "yes" button on the checkout page that asks "Have you read and do you agree to our terms and policies," the software would have removed him from the checkout page and he would not have been able to go on to complete his order. Also, the total price, including service fees and delivery charges, was given to him before he gave his credit card information and completed his order. Mr [redacted] chose to comply with the price and the terms before sending his final order for processing.

Mr [redacted] never contacted our Customer Service Department with any questions or for any clarification of the pricing and terms and conditions before placing his order. If he was unsure about the order he was placing, he could have called our customer service number prior to placing his order.

Mr [redacted] was aware that all sales are final, tickets may be sold above face value and that www. [redacted] is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue. Mr [redacted] freely chose acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions. He made a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the price he agreed to.

There is no refund due.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2013/08/14) */

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)

I did contact their customer service to inquire why I couldn't select the seat. I was told that I would get the best available. The venue had plenty of opened seats in the 75.00 price. The company as far as I am concerned and others should know that they scam the consumer into believing they are [redacted] and give you a service not even close to be reputable. SORRY that business like this can continue to fraud the public. Buyer beware. Thanks Revdex.com for hearing the complaint

Review: I ordered tickets on February 16, 2013 for the May 24, 2013 Wicked performance at the Overture Center in Madison, WI. I purchased 3 middle priced tickets for $137.00 each and received 3 tickets valued at $48.50 for the lowest price seating available. When I called the company, I was told those were the best seats they had left. My ticket sales are final, so apparently they can give me whatever they want and keep the difference in the value of the tickets. The company told me their tickets may be higher than face value, but $88.50 more than ticket price is unfair practice. On top of this I was charged a $15.00 shipping fee and $94.53 in service fees. I didn't mind spending a little extra for good seats, but I received the lowest price seats in the venue without any compensation for the difference.I paid a total of $520.53 for tickets valued at $145.50.

Product_Or_Service: tickets for the show Wicked

Order_Number: XXXXX

Desired Settlement: My request is to be refunded the difference between the ticket price I paid and the tickets I received for a total of $265.50 or be given better seats. I am not disputing the shipping fee or the service fees although I think those costs and more than a fair price.I would prefer better seats more in line with the value I paid, if not I should be compensated for the lesser valued tickets I received.

Best Time Entertainment is a secondary ticket market ticket broker. Within the secondary ticket market we list all of our tickets through a network that distributes them to many websites to advertise and sell online. When the customer places an order for our tickets on one of those websites the order is directed back to us for fulfillment. This customer purchased our tickets on a website that is not owned or operated by Best Time Entertainment.

The order was placed for thee tickets in the Balcony row A to O at $137 per ticket plus a service fee of $31.51 per ticket plus a delivery fee of $15 for a total agreed to price of $520.53. Best Time Entertainment provided this customer with tickets in Balcony row K which is clearly well within the range of what they selected.

When making the purchase online the customer agreed to the terms and policies of the website which clearly stated tickets were being sold on the secondary ticket market and may be priced above face value. The terms and policies can be found at this link: http://www.ticketnetwork.com/policies.aspx

This customer is not owed a refund because they were given the exact tickets that they ordered and they were clearly informed that the tickets were being sold on the secondary ticket market prior to placing their order.

Please give us a call if you have any additional questions or need any additional documentation.

Thank you,

Review: This company is a sham, they sell tickets to postponed or cancelled events even after they've known that the event has been postponed and/or cancelled! Then they tell you that they will issue you tickets to the next scheduled event for that artist even if you don't live in the city where the event was being held. After calling them they have come up with an excuse that my tickets are not refundable. Right now they are trying to steal my $275 that I paid for tickets in [redacted] during my 20 year anniversary with my wife even though I live in [redacted]! I will stop at no end in my effort to expose this fraudulent company and their illegal and immoral activities! My lawyer will crucify them in court and my punitive damages with far exceed the measly $275 that they are trying to steal from me on a concert that was cancelled (which they are and have been aware of) 5 whole days ago!!!! They disguise themselves as Best Time Entertainment, when they really are another company called [redacted].com or [redacted].com. I investigated www.[redacted].com and found a bunch of bad reviews so I decided to pass on them. Moments later..., I received an email from [redacted].com and purchased the tickets. After doing so I called [redacted] and they told me the event had been cancelled 5 days ago!!!!! After several calls and request's to speak to a manager, I keep getting the same response. So, they actually think that I am going to let this go, eh. NOT!!! These people are thieves and they deserve to be taught an expensive lesson. If only they know who I were, they'd immediately issue me my legally deserved refund. Maybe they don't care about the laws that they are breaking. Maybe they do not fear the [redacted] or [redacted]. Maybe they do not fully understand credit card and banking laws but, they surely will when I'm done with them!Desired Settlement: Refund the $275.64 that I paid them for the tickets that the sold me knowing that the concert had been postponed or cancelled several dud prior to my order placement.

We have attached our response to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint.

Review: I purchased [redacted] theater tickets from [redacted].com

The tickets are fulfilled by Best Entertainment. I was told by [redacted], that the advertising and seating provided is given to them by Best Entertainment.

I purchased tickets for a show Mezzanine rows [redacted], at a higher cost, being lead to believe by the advertising these were better seats. I received tickets for Mezzanine row L.

After several calls to Best Entertainment and [redacted] (who claim the information is provided to them from Best Entertainment) I was told "there are no rows [redacted].

I feel they absolutely misrepresented what they were offering. Leading you to believe there was a front and a rear Mezzanine. Offering seating in seats that are not even there!

I could have purchased tickets for the area I received at over $50 per ticket less!!!Desired Settlement: I would like a credit adjustment of $100 for the 2 seats I purchased. I paid $128 (plus service fees of 37.12 per ticket)

for seats advertised that do not exist!

I could purchase seats for $70 for the seats I received.

Review: On November 30, 2013 I purchased 2 tickets to a Show Called "[redacted]" in [redacted] through Best Time Entertainment for a total price of $456.00. When I got there I found out that the Face value of the tickets were $45 per ticket or $90 for 2 tickets. By all means, I believe a business should make a profit but profiting to the tune of $183.00 per ticket to an event that was not even close to a sell out I believe is price gouging. I explained to the company directly that I would be willing to pay $125 per ticket or a total of $250.00 realizing that they should make a profit. I expressed my complaint to the company directly and [redacted] said there was nothing he could do because the policy is the policy. I then said of course there is something you can do, I am speaking with the company directly and you can refund me what you consider to be fair. He would not acknowledge that there was something they could do. Which of course there is something they can do they simply choose not to do it.I am not trying to tell someone how to run their business by dictating pricing, but as I told [redacted] (the person I spoke to as the owner [redacted] would not come to the phone)I was willing to pay something reasonable, I proposed a $206 discount and I asked if he would propose something. He did not.I believe this is price gouging and unfair business practices.Desired Settlement: A refund of $206. Which means I am willing to pay $125 per ticket on a face value of $45. However would listen to a counter proposal that is reasonable.

Review: Without my knowing, my husband went online to buy tickets to [redacted] for our princess obsessed four year old who has never attended one of these shows. When he told me he paid $236.40 for 4 tickets, I immediately knew something was not right. Sure enough, it didn't take me long to realize Best Time Entertainment, from whom he purchased these outrageously priced tickets to a kid's show, is a crook of the worst kind. This guy should be put out of business. We are far from rich and this was huge purchase for us, which after looking at ticketmaster the purchase for the exact same section and row that we received would have been $86.35. In addition, the tickets we were told we would receive were in the 2nd row and a center stage section...which is absolutely not what we received. Just shameful really. I hope this guy goes to jail where he belongs. I want a full refund for these tickets immediately as we just received them today and it is no longer an option to receive the tickets in the section/row we were promised. Not to mention, these tickets are priced $150 over their value. This website pops up and redirects you automatically when you are on [redacted] website, hence why my husband thought they were the legitimate place to buy the tickets in the first place. Everything about this business stinks and these people should seriously be reprimanded harshly. But before that, I would like my refund. One way or another.Desired Settlement: Full refund. Business should be closed down.

Review: Like many of the other customers already complaining to the Revdex.com, I too was duped into buying overpriced tickets to a show that had many less expensive tickets available. The site seemed to be affiliated with the production group and I did not see the tiny disclaimer at the bottom of the web page. I reached out to customer service and was pretty much given the same spiel as everyone else. Yes I did agree to "the terms and uses" by purchasing tickets but I unknowingly spent 6 times the amount. I don't expect for the business to resolve this with me as they have proven to not care about their customers at all. They only need people to purchase from them once in order to make a huge profit. This should be a warning to anyone out there - do NOT use this company. They are ruthless and make no effort to appease their customers. They are located in CT because of the slack scalping laws. The only legal remedy to pursue would be through Connecticuts Unfair Trade Practices Act.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed but do not expect the company to bother as I have already reached out to them. I want this to serve as a warning to other buyers.
