Had a great time on my tour !! Ron was a great guide.

I had a pretty terrible experience with Besttours.com. The only time I’ve had worse customer service is from Cox. Not only was their CS indifferent they were not helpful in resolving my issue.
You see, my best friend lives in the East Coast but is coming home to spend his bachelor party with friends in LA on 4/**. To kick things off we wanted to attend the Drunk Hollywood Tour since his fiancee was doing the same tour in Washington DC. However, not everyone in our party was able to purchase tickets since the date sold out. When a date is sold out you’re not able to select it on their booking calendar online - the date is literally greyed out and you can’t click on it.
This morning (4/[redacted] I received the following text from Besttours.com: “Regrettably your tour has been postponed due to low numbers. Please check your email for instructions on how to reschedule.”
This contradicts what was told to me previously since my whole group couldn’t get tickets due to the event selling out.
I’ve previously called their customer service number (###-###-####) which honestly bounces you between different automated responses although their website boasts about their service:
“In the Internet age customer service suffers as websites automate and customers get frustrated with the non-human user experience. Never being able to get anyone on the phone to help you was a huge problem in the early years of the internet, but we have adapted and now internet savvy consumers know the best way to get fast and efficient customer service is through the online chat function on websites, like the little blue box in the lower right hand corner of the screen, where a human is hiding, ready to help you navigate our website and resolve any issues you may be having! If the online chat function is not to your liking, and the Online Help Center hasn't answered your question, or you just don't like websites, you can call us!”
Since I already knew they were difficult to get a hold of I went ahead and used the chat service. I just wanted some answers on how to get tickets for the rest of my group so they’d have enough people to continue with the tour. Honestly, after listening to Lemonade I really don’t want to be taken advantage of. Also, I used to work in customer service and understand that a lot times customers can be difficult but I can honestly say this was a terrible experience. So, I decided to copy and paste the entire conversation so you can decide for yourself if this is the level of service you would like from a company that has already taken your money and seems to be lying to you.
The conversation:

I wanted to see if you can address the text I received today stating the tour I've signed up for on 4/** in Hollywood for the Drunk Tour will have to be postponed due to low number of attendees. Our whole group couldn't get tickets to this date because when they attempted to purchase tickets were notified this date was sold out. Can you please let me know how many tickets you need purchased so you can have enough people?
This event is for my best friend's bachelor party. He's flying back home to California from the east coast to spend time with his friends before moving overseas and we really want to make this work. Please reply ASAP.

Yes. They left the chat. That’s how they ended the conversation. They didn’t offer to refund me. They didn’t apologize for the inconvenience. So, I did what any self-respecting human being who is jacked up on Beyonce’s new album. I re-opened the chat!

Ok, just to recap:
1) They don’t care about the fact my bff is flying from the East Coast and that his bachelor party plans are being changed 2 days before they are supposed to happen.
2) They won’t let us give them more money so the tour can continue...which doesn’t seem like the best business strategy.
3) Apparently they’re not sure if they will process the refund for me…
4) The first rep abruptly ended our conversation after being unsympathetic and having no chill.
5) Their customer service phone number is a joke and there is no phone number listed for their corporate location (BestTours.com A Void Travel Company Head Office [redacted])
4) They. Didn’t. Directly. Answer. My. Questions.
6) I’ve checked at it looks like a TON of other customers have had the same thing happen to them.
I hate to be that person but I’m going to contact my bank, the Revdex.com, Trip Advisor, [redacted] and post on their social media as well. People need to know this fraudulent company is scamming people and should be avoided at all costs. I should have read the Trip Advisor reviews first to avoid this whole charade but alas, I didn’t. I want to help others and bring these criminals to justice.

The business  has not responded to my complaint, nor has it made any attempt to contact me, however, through no effort of the business, I was able to resolve my complaint myself at this point in time. After more than a half dozen attempts to reschedule the tours on...

numerous computers, I was able to reschedule them myself using a link different than the one provided by the company chat sessions. There is no review or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], but find that as long as I am able to take the three tours that I have now scheduled, my complaint will be resolved, again by me NOT the company.  NOTE: The company representative on the chat,  Amanda, on Friday 9/** told me that my complaint would be resolved by the company before the end of that day.
