I understand that Big Bus tours is not Revdex.com accreditedThe complaint I have isn't even as a passenger on the busI was behind the bus yesterday, April 18th, while riding the DC Circulator on the monument routeI was appalled at the way the driver for Big Bus tours treated the Circulator bus driverThey are supposed to share an island at different locations to pick up passengersHowever, Big Bus tours was parked in the island with its driver and other staff members off of the bus recruiting riders and taking a smoke breakwe could not move around the bus because of the curb on both sidesSeveral times, our driver asked if they would move their bus, if their bus was broken down, etcShe was ignored and had to correspond through her radio about the situation taking placeA female worker for Big Bus, told her since they were on a "schedule", they would not be able to move as of yetWe had to wait on our bus for minutes for another Circulator to come and pick us up and finish the routeOf course, they moved their bus when the other bus came to pick us upThis was an extremely annoying and unprofessional way to handle losing businessIf their prices were more competitive and they had a more professional look, maybe their ridership would not be on a rapid declineI just wanted to let as many people know about this incident so that they don't waste their time or money with this company

Our family went to DC for a vacation from Dallas/Fort Worth and we purchased tickets to ride the Big Bus around DC on JuneWe were told that the buses would go by every minutesWe figured that we had plenty of time to ride/visit more than one loopWe started out on the red loop with Devon as the host and that went pretty goodWe got off at the yellow stop near the White House so that we could ride the yellow busThere were Big Bus reps there selling tickets.....but NO busEvery other bus in the world came by.....including the red loop (times).....but no yellow bus loopThe reps assured us that a bus was on the way and pretended to call on a system that no one answered back onFINALLY after waiting minutes the yellow loop bus arrivedThe yellow loop had no host on the bus to tell us about the sites, when we would be approaching the sites or the history of the sitesWe just sat there and looked at everything we passedIt proceeded to make a couple of stops and then parked in front of a H***The driver got on/off the bus several times and kept telling us that we would leave in a few minutesMy husband said that he could see her selling more tickets and making change for peopleI was getting big time PO and she kept saying that we would be leavingFINALLY after minutes we leftI spent more freaking time waiting for the Big Bus Tours than actually riding themBecause of the almost hour delay in waiting for buses to go somewhere.....we were afraid to get off to visit Georgetown because they proved that they weren't reliable and we were afraid that we would have no way back to Union StationOn the 19th we decided we wanted to see more of DCBut didn't dare to ride the Big BusInstead, we road the Metro/city busThose are very much more reliable and on time.......and they only cost $We paid almost $to ride the Big BusAnyone that is reading this.......save your $$$$$ and ride the metro insteadThis company is deceptive and lies to customers We were beyond disappointed in the Big Bus Tour and I will make sure to tell EVERYONE I know to NEVER ride this bus!!!!!
