Review: I purchased a $37.00 package with a Sim Card + 30 day service. I called blackwireless.com to activate my phone service with my current cell phone number. I spoke to [redacted], she told me the port process would be done within 24 hours. 24 hours later the service was still not activated. [redacted] told me I had to call [redacted](current service) so they would release my number. I shouldn't have to call [redacted] for Black Wireless to port my number. That's Black Wireless' job. Over the next 3 days [redacted](The only customer service rep who I spoke to over 3 days) told me the same thing and occasionally she would forward me to the Tech Support line. The tech support line was some man who said "the service will be activated the next morning"(Again, even the tech support person was the same person answering all calls). The porting process is supposed to take a max 24 hours. Real phone companies do this in 2-3 hours. Blackwireless never ported my phone number and delayed the situation as long as they could. [redacted] told me today, no port request history from BlackWireless.com is in their system. I feel scammed.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund on my cc and return shipping label to send your sim card back.

Review: Had a monthly contract with this company. My due date was the [redacted] of ech month. Called on Mrch *, March *, march*, March **, March **, March **, March [redacted] March ** to request to have my number ported out to [redacted] and they refused to do it. The request was made before my month was due, they did not do it on time and now they are requesting for me to pay an additional month to have my line active and then port my number.

Every representative said somethig different, they lie and there is no way to find somebody knowledgable in this company.\I just want my number out of this company and released to [redacted].Desired Settlement: My number, ###-###-#### needs to be ported out to [redacted]

The business has responded. Please see below: The complaint is stating that the individual had a prepaid monthly plan with our company, which she stated "contract", but we are a prepaid company and do not hold customers to a contract. She further states that her due date or expiration was the [redacted], which I showed to be March [redacted]. The customer calling our customer service and requesting a "port OUT" is not something that we have control of or can refuse a customer. The individual needs to contact the carrier or company that they are looking to port in to and process the port in (transfer) of the phone number. Once the transfer is initiated by the other company (carrier) then we are notified and as long as the information is correct (account number and password etc.) then the number is transferred. We, as a company, do not wish to make it difficult for customers who wish to leave our service and others. The customer can still initiate the port out until April [redacted] witho ut any issues because there is a 30 day grace period to allow customers to recharge their accounts, so even though there is no service on the number it is still active in our system. The only assumption I can make is that our customer service informed the customer that they are unable to port out the number, which is the truth, because that has to be done by the customer with the new carrier. I hope this is helpful and if there is any further assistance that we can provide to this customer please have her call our office at [redacted] and explain this situation. Thank you in advance.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have the recordings from my conversations with black wireless reps and a statement from [redacted] with the dates they call and receive answers like: "it will be port out in 24 hours" but never happened. The business said that I need to recharge my account now, because they did not tranfer the number when I requested it and my account was active. In other words I will have to pay to just to recover my phone number, because I won' t have service. How is that possible? Should I give money to a company without receiving services? Or should they release the number because they employees did not do their job when they supposed to? The business should be responsible for their employees lack of training. BTW, nobody anwsered on the provided number by the business.

Review: I have been a customer of Black Wireless since 12/*/13 when I first ordered cellular phone service. I have been a regular customer since then. Since July 2014 I have been unable to connect my phone to their network, so I contacted them via online chat on 10/**/14 to resolve the issue. Their representative, "[redacted]" informed me my phone number had been cancelled on 7/**/14 and then refused to assist me further. Furthermore, she terminated the chat when I asked for assistance and a refund. You see, on 7/**/14 I had recharged my cell service, and then again on 10/**/14. The total charges to my credit card are $30, and I simply want a refund of that amount.Desired Settlement: The total charges to my credit card are $30, and I simply want a refund of that amount.
