I was contacted by bluegreen on a "sweepstakes" that I won
They tried to push me to "reserve" my "free/extremely discounted" vacation and cruise
When I refused to hand out financial information, they put me on the line with a "specialist," who proceeded to insinuate that I didn't know what I really wanted for my family and that I "DO" want to save money on vacation
She kept interrupting me and would not let me speak
These people need to be reprimanded for their business tactics and the way they take advantage of poor people who don't know how to handle pushy salespeopleThey were very rude and did not wish to honor my wishesNever Again

They are super nice until you buy then you mean nothingThey lied about things they promised about travelers plus, and when calling five or more times leaving messages which are never returned; you finally get a hold of someone and they can't do anything for you because they are sorry but the promises made were a mistakeSo you ask to sell the timeshare which they said they would buy back but they can't they don't buy it backThey give you a number to a company who charge fees among other things to sell it for you or they tell you if you have a family member or friend buy so you can transfer the deed, but I'm not a mean person I don't wish this unprofessional and stressful burden on them or anyone else which is why I want to sell it back to them so they can try to screw someone else over and I'm not any part of it

I would never recommend Bluegreen vacations to my worst enemyThey lie to you during presentations they mislead you and don't give you a way to verify information until after your cancellationIt's over Bluegreen resorts of Tennessee has no integrity when dealing with people after you purchase a time share with them they will not return your phone call and they would treat you as if you just stole from them
My family and I went to Tennessee for my daughter's birthday we did a tour during the presentation the fast talking representative share his experiences with him and his family on their vacations at the time I had no intent to purchase A timeshare because we have timeshare already with westgate ResortsBut as I listen to the representative I raise an eyebrow when he shared with us that you can have at a charter membership that comes with unlimited vacations for days vacation with anbedrooms is $59and a bedrooms $I raised my hand and I stated that I already had a t

I'm a very unhappy consumerI bought into a deeded timeshare years ago and my family and I enjoyed our vacations although we could not get a week except in August in FLI enjoyed the heat anywayWhen my husband passed away, I went to a "weekend special" that was offered to hear some special deal Bluegreen hadThey told me the yearly fees would not be much more than I had been paying, but they liedThey did not disclose the actual amountsAfter paying almost $10,in payments, I pay $a year and I have 10,points which doesn't give you very nice places to stayMy new husband and I have stayed at a few and they have not been nice at allEverything is run down and creepyThe gas fireplace even caused my husband to be sick because it didn't exhaust correctlyI can't believe I pay so much and I could get the same thing for $a nightIt's awfulI think I will have to contact my attorney and take them to court to get rid of my worthless 10,pointsI wish someone would find this company guilty of a very bad crime, deceiving the consumer with a panzy scheme, taking money for a product that is a jokeThis company takes advantage of honest law abiding citizens

SCAM***They called me saying I won a trip from state fairI knew right away this was a time share thing...but what the ***...maybe ill get a good deal on a trip I have planned anywayStated I wanted to investigate company firstOh they did NOT like thatTransferred to manager...gave me a better deal....Again stated I dont give my credit card to strangers..give me a minute to research online...oh *** no..they said were just gonna give this great opportunity to someone else RED FLAG! Sure as *** I researched company after call....Sooooooo glad I never gave credit card numberHey ive done the time share thing before...never purchased anything....got free tickets and money...there are legit companies out there that honor their promises of free gifts...NOT this oneResearch states differentlySTAY AWAY!!!!!

Ok first of all let me say our overall experience with Bluegreen has been amazing!!!! If I had to do it all again I wouldI bought Bluegreen because it made sense for me and my familyWe use the beans out of it! Have there been better experiences than others sure but there r goods and bads with every thingThey didn't hid it from anyoneAre there fees sure do you own a car or house do u work or pay taxes than u should know you have a responsibly for those thingsBut please know this if u don't understand...ask and keep asking they will explain it to ur satisfaction or until u understandIf it works for u do itIf not walk awayBut don't scream foul when something dosent go ur way that's lifeSryBut Bluegreen wants u to love vactions and better ones that there business and they deliver on thatIf that's what u want s give them a try if not walk away but I will say this and take it for what it's worthNo company will offer more for less then BLUEGREENDo ur shooing and compareIf u like the idea of timeshare system, not a certain week in A certain place, but many destination at any time of year think about BLUEGREEN PLS!

BE CAREFUL!!!!!! There can be hidden fees and charges which they do not tell youI took a day night dealWhen on phone they hid the fact that I will have to pay feesI paid via credit card on phone and then they DID NOT tell me there would be additional charges and taxes at the propertyTheres no way at that you can know how much the fees would beAfter they make you pay then they tell those even then things are not clearThis seems a bit fishyNOTE: There is a possibility that the fees might be more than what you can get in a deal from some other websiteIf they hid from you the fact that there can be potentially more fees than what you can get via deal from other reputed websites then its time to think again if you want to ever do bussiness with them

Called saying my wife had won some raffle in a mallafter going back and forth we decided to sign up They said that they would send us a packet in the mail with all the details but that never cameSo I called to ask about it and the customer service people got an attitude with meI ultimately asked for a refund so hopefully we will get it

I kept getting phone calls during the work day from a number in Palm Beach Florida, so I initially ignored them until the number popped up on my phone in the eveningI answered and the phone representative told me that I had won a drawing at the local mall for a cruise vacation I didn't remember registering to win a cruise (it turns out I thought that I was registering to win a car, but accepting the cruise was somehow connected to being eligible for entry into the drawing for the car) but I had been through one of these calls many years ago and remember the high pressure sales tactics and requests for me to give out my credit card number to pay for the fees associated with my "free vacation," so I wanted no part of going through that experience again I said "no thanks" and ended the call Three days later I get another call from the same number I tried to decline the call but accidentally ended up calling them back The male sales representative immediately launched into the pitch about being chosen for a vacation, so I interrupted him to say that I had already spoken to a woman the other day and declined His tone immediately changed and he said, "Well why did you call back then?" I explained that the return call was accidental but reiterated that I had already experienced a similar phone call and wasn't interested in a free vacation attached to tons of hidden fees His sounded almost confrontational when he responded by saying that I hadn't experienced his company's vacations because I wasn't in their data base I asked him what the fees were for this trip and he quoted an amount around $for people but added that I would get all but seventy some dollars back because it was a just a reservation feeHis description of getting to select between popular cruise lines anytime in the upcoming year sounded much to good to be true, especially since I was only one of many people being presented with this offer I asked him for the name of his company and he hesitated a little and then told me "Bluegreen Vacations." He wanted to give me more information, but I told him that I preferred to look the company up online and investigate them myself and then I could call them back if I decided to accept the offer As I suspected, he immediately objected, stating,"This is already your 2nd call back, so if you don't accept the offer now, then you will pass ** up." Any company that won't allow someone the time to do research and make an informed decision is just SHADY in my opinion (especially when the representative is somewhat rude during sales pitch!), so I said, "That's fine, then I'll pass." I ended the call, and once I looked the company up online and saw all of the negative reviews, then I am glad that I followed my instincts I strongly URGE others to view this company with suspicion as well

My wife purchased a vacation to Myrtle Beach from Bluegreen at Bass pro shopsWe arrived on 6-10-appr 4pm at your welcome centerWe were sent to a motel that smelled, the toilet was running over upon arrival and generally nastyThere were no other roomsAfter four hours on the phone with Bluegreen and being charged an upgrade fee we finally got a roomNot a pleasureable experience

Okay so here is what this vacation agency did to our familyin April we signed up and that day we booked our dates in June for our tripWe were warned when we were booking that there could be some travel restrictions but if there were any, red flags would come upNo red flags came up so we continued with our bookingThen for the last two months we have patiently been excited and waiting for our family beach tripExactly days before we are to cheat our hotel I call to confirm the reservationA redflag popped up saying we are traveling too soonEventually I was transferred to a supervisor, ***I was informed that we could not go on our vacation for another months! Well as a teacher that wouldn't workI only have the summer to travelHe told me as a teacher I should have the ability to read into any detailsI told him I didI spent over an hour with a vacation specialist going over every little detail before I signed upThey still made us cancel our trip

They have very dishonest, dubious and downright dangerous salesman *** *** *** the Economic Developer they hired has been mired in controversy for years He was one of the masteminds behind the failed international destination, Earthquest He sued the Houston Press, Craig Malisow, Our Tribune, *** *** The Pahrump Valley Times, all the taxpayers that commented anonymously about the waste of million tax dollars and me Needleess to say he lost and was immediately tossed out of court in Ohio
*** *** is now making thinly veiled death threats directed toward me:
http://www.realscam.com/f11/dealing-cyber-stalker-cyber-bully-soapbox-momster-cy... /> Bluegreen Resorts has been warned about this individual, yet still has him making presentations and interacting with customers Folks will be harmed financially by this liar and their personal safety is certainly an issue
Stay far away from Bluegreen

Went and signed up for the starter package, My initial payment was made and charged to mea month later I get a letter from Orival Webb saying that they didn't have my payment info on fileI've tried to call times and left message asking for a call back to see what the problem isI have not heard one word back from BluegreenThey then send me a threatening letter that im in "default"How can you charge my card with the info given then claim you dont have my billing info? Anyone reading this I advise you to steer clear of bluegreenThey want to sell you on the idea of a vacation then their customer service is terribleInstead of send threatening letters, pick up the phone and return the message that was left to get the matter resolvedDon`t say you do not have my info when I have a bank statement showing you charged my card

I absolutely loathe this company I have paid out my mortgage years ago, but have not used any of the facilities in almost years I have offered numerous times to give my vacation back to the company and they refuse I live in Louisiana and the only resort is in New Orleans; there's only so many times you can go to New Orleans This company has done nothing but cost me money to the tune of $700+ a year between maintenance fees and "club dues" I don't use the club, so why do I have to pay club dues These timeshares have become such a rip off, especially with the multitude of discount travel sites

Bluegreen was misleding in our last upgrade exprience. They said I would only have one payment and was getting a great deal and could defiance with my credit union for better rate when I got home. Their 60 min talk was over 4 hours my credit union or the other 5 banks I called do not defiance or touch time shares but I could apply for unsecured loan not tax deductible but not 17% either. Also one loan payment was for $303 as stated but did Not include prior loan of $143. They did not straight out lie but twisted the truth which is still a lie in my eyes.

After a very bad experience with this company timeshare and the deceptive sales persons who told us lies to convince us to buy a timeshare. for 2 years now we are not able to find a suitable time and place to use our points because they are always booked ahead of time even if we try 5 or 6 months ahead of time, they have too many timeshare customers that you can find any resort and we tried to use our points anyway. we were able to get a perfect vacation for the money we pay for the maintenance fee each year. I tried to suspend my membership and not using my points and to pay the very very expensive maintenance fee, they said it will be sent to collection. this company is a totally fraud. when you try to sell your share, this company has the worst reputation that you can not find a buyer.

I have been a bluegreen member for 17years. Timeshares are not for everyone. Every timeshare sales pitch we have been to which have been several companies, bluegreen included, are high pressure sales, but so are used car salesman. Do your homework and go with the company that you understand the process. Ask questions if you do not understand. All of the bluegreen associates have been wonderful to us. They are always willing to help and answer questions. The resorts are nice and never disappointed. As with any resort yes it is sometimes difficult to get last minute reservations during peak times and peak places. Yes there are maintenance fees as with any condo or timeshare (upgrades and maintenance are a necessity). Could I vacation cheaper than what I paid and my maintenance fees, yes but not at the caliber of resorts with similar accommodations. As for the complaints, no one forced us to purchase and I am sure no one forced them to buy or go on the "free" vacation. Nothing is free in life you always have to read the fine print and be educated about your purchase. You cant blame the salesman for doing a good job and getting you to purchase something. As for the credit cards taken out and not known it is on the disclosure saying yes or no to credit application. There have never been any surprises with our transactions and we have upgraded several times purchasing more time, but we take the time and read what we sign and make sure we understand everything.

I wish I would have never purchased points from Bluegreen! Apparently whenever I want to book something I either don't have enough points or there is no rooms available. I am paying roughly $2500 a year for something I can't use and can't get out of! They also said I could refinance it to get a lower rate than what they have me in for, but that was a lie. Please do your research on this company before you get stuck paying like I am!

We were told, by the representative, that they would help us sell (with a small fee) our `points`if we changed our mind.

They never mentionned the amount of taxes we would have to pay on the proprety assigned to us.

They said that those fees would be minimum. ( 800$++ per year is minimum???)

All togheter they where dishonnest with us and did not want to ear anything about rebuying or helping us to resale our points. Alot of BS from there part.

The representative that trapt us into buying these points (spent 3 hours to convince us) does not work there anymore!!!!!

A rep from BlueGreen Corp ([redacted] id#1552) called me and told me I had been selected to receive a 5 day vacation and 5 day cruise from a drawing done at a local theater. She very nicely gave me information about the two trips, and then told me I needed to pay $150 per person. I said I don't pay or give my credit card to people who just call me out of the blue, and to please send me the information in writing. I had not remembered the name of the company, BlueGreen Corp, from the drawing at the theater -who pays attention to the corporate name in a raffle? After I said I would like them to send me the information in writing, without hesitation or telling me, the rep transferred me to a manager, [redacted], id#5880. [redacted] proceeded to attempt to bully me into paying the money, accusing me of being ridiculous to have accused a person calling me out of the blue and asking for money of being a scam. He got quite irate when I wouldn't cave in, and he hung up on me. Very sketchy and rude business practice and/or customer service, and I will be sure to steer clear of this company in the future. I would be careful if you are considering doing business with them; any company that uses bullying tactics, treats their potential customers like this, and refuses to send any form of written information is dubious to me.
