Repeated attempts over 10months to rectify initial installation issue No sealer was placed before laying tile Placed our order with Bob's Carpet Mart in March at the Hillsborough location (Order #XXXXXX) Purchased Pecan - Fired Hickory tile for 1,sq ft including grout/installation for a total purchase price of $8, Installation occurred on or around 3/28/by Diversified - sub contractor of Bob's Carpet Mart Beginning around 6-8mos after installation, we began to see signs of what appeared to be a white powder developing in parts of the grout Our tile is dark along with the grout so the white material stands out significantly After several attempts to clean, it would re-appear We began initial communication with Bob's starting in June I currently have separate correspondences with Bob's employees beginning with Robert [redacted] (starting on 7/3/15), Mark [redacted] (starting on 7/6/15), Harvey [redacted] (8/19/15) and Ricardo [redacted] (starting 8/

Poor workmenship and double billed/overcharged The main complaint is the double billing, charging me for labor I didn't receive and the gift cards sent can't be used

After nine months my laminate floor is still not complete Waited months for main bathroom to be completed and then had to call a plumber to remove a piece from toilet that was part of packaging Problems with laminated floor from day one Floor never completed Installers left knowing that floor had problems and said would come back Trim not installed until months after installation of floor Installer returned after many no call no shows and late night calls After months floor is worse than ever Every time installer returns, I have additional problems The floor is less than satisfactory and the workmanship is unacceptable I have had separate installers look at floor and each could not believe that a professional did the installation Told that the raised areas [redacted] continue to cause issues like I am experiencing now Pointed out poor workmanship by molding and noting that the rough edges where laminate boards meet [redacted] cause problems in the future Recommend

Armstrong Luxe Plank flooring installed by Bob's while hot after exposure to direct sunlight has now shrunk after acclimating to home, large gaps We contracted with Bob's on March 19, to install full house flooring of Armstrong Luxe Plank Bob's was unable to manage to deliver the correct flooring, pushing the install date out to April 29, 2016, I had to fly back to FL to be present When I arrived, I immediately noticed the wrong floor had been delivered, and went to the storeThe install was pushed out another two days while they found the correct floor On the install day, a crew arrived, and one worker went to pick up the correct flooring while the others began the underlayment The first worker returned several hours later with our flooring on an open utility trailer exposed to direct sunlight on a very warm day They immediately began installing the floor in the air conditioned house without allowing it to thermally acclimate, Bob's never told me this is required as i

Poor installation of carpet in bedrooms Poor customer service In January of 2013, we had carpet installed in bedrooms from Bobs Carpet Mart From the beginning, there were tiny nails sticking out of the carpet in one of the doorways When we called on this, the service manager advised us to just pound them back in with a hammer!?? After months the carpet in one of the bedrooms began to buckle in the middle We called them and they came out to re-stretch In December of 2015, the same carpet began buckle again as well as the carpet in the other room I called to have it re-stretched again I was told that it was not covered under warranty and the manager would have to call me back He did not I called again about two weeks later The employee that answered the phone argued with me that not only was this not covered under warranty, but that with people in our household, this was " a lot of traffic" trying to justify this faulty installation Again, I asked for a m

I would not recommend anyone buy from this company due to cheap products and HORRIBLE customer service We had a client who wanted to take advantage of a Memorial Day sale which is why we went ahead and bought from Bob's Carpet Mart We purchased a Mohawk product, thinking it would be good quality The hardwood laminate flooring was cheap and difficult to work with (we are experienced with laying laminate flooring) The cardboard backing that is supposed to snap together breaks off easily and it just really did not go together well in several places Even before that, we had problems with this company as we placed the order on May 18th and I was told it would arrive in - days and we would be contacted yet I had to call the store after June 1st since no one had called We picked up the order on June 4thWe were told it would be ready to load when we got there but the men who were in the store said their loaders didn't work on Saturday so no one could load it They were rude to us as well, but managed to get off their duffs long enough to get a lift truck and pick our flooring from the back of the warehouse and load it onto our truck...then they had the audacity to ask us to bring the pallet back The really aggravating part though was discovering over this past holiday weekend while finishing up the project that we were given the wrong transition strips We requested T-molding but received pieces of square nose molding instead which would cause a tripping hazard for our client We tried using what we had in one place to make it work, but what is typically a metal holding strip with all other transitions was made of plastic which bent easily and didn't hold down the transition piece Ultimately, we had to go to Lowes and purchase transition strips there to finish the project, figuring we could return the product since it was their mistake Instead, the store manager informed me that their installers simply cut off the stair nose part and install it all the time I can just imagine how wonderful and professional that looks! I was also told that it was over days, however today is 7/and the product was picked up on June 4th - most companies would cut a customer some slack for that That was just a line though because the salesperson informed me that the company does not take back special orders What a rip off to our client! If you value your time and your money, I would highly recommend going elsewhere to purchase your flooring This company does not care about your satisfaction and there are many other choices that do! No future customer of ours will EVER shop at Bob's Carpet Mart

company refuses to honor product warranty and installation warranty on laminate flooring incorrectly installed by the company
I had purchased laminate flooring through Bobs Carpet that accompanied a warranty for both product and installationIt was installed incorrectly and serviced onceIt is still buckled and now peeling because of foot trafficWhen I requested the warranty to be honored, I was given the run around for over monthsThe Brandon Sales Manager, Roger straight lied to me by saying he had talked to Corporate manager, Ricardo, whom said it was caused by water damage (water damage throughout an entire bedroom??) and they could not helpI called Ricardo myself and was told he had never spoken to Roger or heard of my problemOver a period of months, Ricardo has sent out inspectors that agreed it was an installation issue and Ricardo instructed me to select a different flooring and it will be fixedI have been trying to get ahold of Ricardo to arrange a r

-Our sales contract with Bob's Carpet Mart was for them to remove the existing river rock from the floor of our lanai and replace it with porcelain tile that we purchased from them and paid a deposit for
-When the installers finally arrived, they inspected the river rock and determined it was in good enough condition to install the porcelain tile on top of itWe advised we wanted the river rock removed and showed them the sales contractThe installer, Paul, advised no one said anything to them about removing the river rock and that they'd have to leave and return another day with the correct equipment
-My husband expressed concern that if we agreed to them installing the new tile over the river rock, it would create a large step up into the lanai from the exterior door and would leave a raw edge at the door entrancePaul assured us that he could create a threshold at the door entrance that we would be happy with
-Taking into consideration how long it took to get the installer

contracts with Bob's Carpet Mart signed 10/25/17: Phase I - tile A $2677, Phase II - laminate @ $12,and Phase III - carpet $with contracts stating work to be completed by 11/15/
My home has been uninhabitable since 11/09/when Bob's Carpet Mart installers were removing incorrectly installed tiles and scraping the thin set off the backer board - 1st & 2nd floor areas Vacuuming the thin set as it was scraped off with a shop vac that was discharging and blowing the sandy grit into the air for several hours When I went to check on job you could not see through master bedroom Installer did not put up any barrier protection and nothing was covered A/C, ceiling fans & exhaust fans were running but turned off as soon as discovered Particles still continue

charged my months same as cash card before the job was finished
overcharged me for installation and underlayment
boxes opened and cut boards
I was overcharged for the underlayment and the installation Since a customer is encouraged to order 10% more wood than is required In our case it was 15% more We were charged for the amount of wood we bought which was 15% more for the installation fee The installers they are using a walked off the job when I pointed out that there was a problem b new installers they brought in was supposed to level the floor
It was done in a really half done mannerWe are having trouble with sinking boards at the entry of our kitchen When I pointed it out to Eric of No Excuses He said it would be fixedIt wasn't Another area I pointed out He said it would be fixed it wasn't Since I was left with a cement floor for days and the entire job took a month to finishI didn't want to argue with him I had ft to cover and we o

Deceptive sales and installation practicesmonths later still waiting to get $15,job fixed
We purchased a full flooring install from Bob's Carpet Mart, and financed closed to $15,Our salesperson was Lenny Aresta
Before we decided to use Bobs, we verified that concrete would be leveled, if needed, before wood was installed(Bob's ripped out our old flooring, and we were concerned if they rushed the job we would have issues with warped or sinking floors.)
When job was completed, we started noticing large areas throughout ground floor where our new flooring would sink an inch or more when we stepped on itBob's sent the same installer back out times to repair the issues, and it was never resolved
Now, months later, more places in our home have sinking spotsI contacted Bob's again, and they sent out installation manager LonnieHe verified that the installation was done very poorly, and checked to see if there was any moisture under the woodThere was n
