After nine months my laminate floor is still not complete Waited months for main bathroom to be completed and then had to call a plumber to remove a piece from toilet that was part of packaging Problems with laminated floor from day one Floor never completed Installers left knowing that floor had problems and said would come back Trim not installed until months after installation of floor Installer returned after many no call no shows and late night calls After months floor is worse than ever Every time installer returns, I have additional problems The floor is less than satisfactory and the workmanship is unacceptable I have had separate installers look at floor and each could not believe that a professional did the installation Told that the raised areas *** continue to cause issues like I am experiencing now Pointed out poor workmanship by molding and noting that the rough edges where laminate boards meet *** cause problems in the future Recommend

A year later and our floor is still not finished and the company is threating to put a lien on our home over $ that we held back
Had Bobs flooring come to our home February XX XXXX and install laminate and marble flooringIts been a year later and the job is still not complete and the company is now telling us that they can no longer get the same color match mouldings to complete the jobso we are left with a inch gap between our flooring and tile that is unfinished and a very sharp high edge from the marble tile also our quarter round mouldings are unfinishedWe paid Bobs flooring a total of $ for the job but we held back $ until the job was finished. As of todays date February 21, our floor is still not finished and Bobs flooring is threating to place a lien on our home if we do not send them the remaining $ that we held backI have spoken to a guy *** from the company to try and resolve the issue but he is a very nasty guy to talk toI f

We were promised the installation "A" Team for a $17,sale and the installers ruined the installation and have damaged our home UNPROFESSIONAL!
The Salesman, Mike G, promised my wife and I he would have his "A" Team install our $17,of carpet and vinyl in order to secure the sale The team that showed up has been at our home THREE FULL DAYS and has still not completed the job They abused the product They abused our home (possibly intentionally) We asked that one of the installers NOT be allowed to return due to his behavior They left our home on DAY TWO with feet of mismatched carpet (DIFFERENT COLORS) in our living room, smashed metal transition strips, bubbled and lifted seams, damaged vinyl from dropping a refrigerator on it, and left the job with areas of our home in a disgusting state without cleaning up after themselves We communicated the situation to the salesman, Mike G, offered a chance to remedy it and Bob's was given a chance to repair these items on

Carpet we purchased is not holding up to the standards we were promisedWe were told if we purchased this higher quality carpet by the saleman at the time and his name was Brent that it would stand up to traffic of my husband and I going to our bedroom and to our master bathroomThis carpet was installed November 15, we only come down and stay months out of the year, so that averages out to be months of traffic in yearsI would like to think a carpet would last longer than monthsI have been talking to Randy and getting excuses, and now after a month of calling everyday they tell me I have to wait until the people from the mill see what they are going to doI didn't purchase the carpet from the mill I purchased it from Bob's Carpet MartThe pictures I sent were taken from my phone and the lighting from my bedroom is not very good so the pictures had a lot of shadows in themRandy told me that the mill might want me to get the carpet professionally cleaned

BOB'S Carpet Mart, added verbiage to their copy of the contract, which has not been approved by myself
My copy has a b lank areaThis is fraud
I am writing you today, hopefully to press chargers against BOB'S Carpet Mart We signed a contract at store # located in South Sarasota, to install carpets in two of our condo bedroomsGeorge, the salesman asked if our condo was on the first floor, I replied, no it's on the second floor George, told us that because it was above the first floor, that their will be a charge of $I told him that there was an elevatorHe then said with a small laugh, the carpets will not fit in the elevator As the installation progressed, I noticed that the installers cut the two carpets to size in the parking lot, and folded each of the carpets small enough to fit in the elevatorAs they carried the carpets to the stairs, I stopped them and told them about the elevator, but they elected to use the stairs anywayI called the merchant, George

It has been a month since ordering a hard wood floor installed and as of today it is not complete and the company wants more moneyWe paid in full

They convinced, persuaded us not to cancel. It is now Nov and floors are not complete and Bob's Carpet Mart is insisting on more money to complete the jobThey did not have adequate materials to complete the work to include : Adhesive
Door Thresholds
Threshold for Sliding Glass Door
I have and 2/boxes of wood sitting on my floor uninstalleds and a manager who refuses to be reasonableI asked that the work be completed immediately...to no avail

We are very disgusted & frustrated by the service we were provided by Bob's Carpet Mart
We visited the store in *** comparing prices to *** with the intent of only putting carpet in our bedrooms living/dining roomWe spoke with Mike, told him our situation that we just bought a new house and wanted to price carpet for itHe offered to come out and measure and give us a quoteGreat! Well it all went down hill from hereMike did come & measure but informed us that he would be doing us a disservice if he put carpet in, it would cost way too much and our house really needed tileGreat! Quote us for both and we will decideUpon talking it over we decided he was right and we would carpet the bedrooms and tile throughout the restI informed him I had not closed on my house yet, and it was only in my name because my fiance had a ** * years ago and we were trying to rebuild his creditSo we wanted the credit to be in his name only if possibleGreat! So he

I was told there is a year warranty on floorsIt has been months and there are serious defects with installation that need to be fixed
The floors installed in my home are bubbling up from the floorI've had a contractor come out and tell me that there are also issues throughout the house where the locking mechanism last are broken so the individual planks don't meet up evenlyI've called several times and spoken to the sales associate Ronnie G*** who will try to talk around the issue but eventually says he will call someone to come outWe were told in two separate occasions that someone would come out to take a lookWe took off work to be here both times and no one showed or called These floors were only installed months agoInvoice number ***Paid in full date April ***

three weeks, three installers for hardwood flooringdefective planks, baseboards beat up, not enough material orderednow been three months
We contracted with Bob's Carpet on to install sqftof Mohawk engineered hardwoodInstallation began on August Two installers arrivedThe head installer left and another installer arrived later that morningWithin the first hour there was heavy damage to our baseboardsBoth installers used planks straight from the box instead of mixing from several boxes and had to relayOn the second day one worker returnedDuring the day we noticed he was installing defective planks and was asked to quit doing soWe also noticed glue spots and black boot marksWe reported this to the head man who we had not seen since day oneWe also told him only one room was finished (out of four) on what was supposed to be a three day jobThe head man said he would speak with our installer, who returned for two more days, finishing two more roomsHe co

BC installed carpet and paddingOne day after installation, our dog urinated on what we were told was a pet resistant carpet and padI tried to clean it, but the spot turned redThe more I rubbed it, the bigger the red spot gotI had to have professional cleaners in TWICE to get rid of the markI notified Bob's Carpet ImmediatelyI was told there was nothing they could do, but they would turn it over to their insurance companyAfter several weeks of waiting with no word, we were told our claim was approvedNo one ever came to our house, and we were not allowed to have contact with the insurance companyThe claim being approved meant they would replace the carpet ONLYInstallation and pad were not includedThe pad was pink which could have everything to do with the problemMichele with Bob's Carpet's response was she never had the problem happen before, so therefore, it couldn't be happenin

Poor workmenship and double billed/overcharged
The main complaint is the double billing, charging me for labor I didn't receive and the gift cards sent can't be used

Vinyl flooring ripped when appliances were installedThey will not cover the damage
We had flooring installedThe next morning the entire floor was covered in bubbles They came back out and rolled the floor which helped quite a bitWe then installed new cabinets and appliancesThe fridge was moved into the middle of the kitchen We then installed the water line When the fridge was pushed back to the wall, it had ripped large holes on the vinylWe used a step stool to make a repair on the ceiling and a puckered spot appeared on the floor under one of the legsveral other puckers on the floor They looked like a bubble had expanded and then popped or deflated The fine print says rips and gouges will only be covered if the consumer causes the problem I am a *** ** year old woman and I quit moving appliances after my *** surgeryThey are claiming I am the consumer and I didn't do the work so they won't cover it Now I have new cabinets and new appliances and gouge

We are in our 80's and feel that we have been taken advantage of

Bob's Carpet Mart installed laminate flooring in JanuaryIt is now the middle of JuneThe floor creaked from day one and we told the salesman about it immediatelySince then we have had several conversations with the office managerHe keeps promising to get this fixed and asks for another day or twoRight now, their warranty means nothing
Besides the creaking floor, we had several other issues with the installersThe salesman said they would remove and put the toilet backDid not happen; had to pay extra for a plumber to comeThe 1/round was so-soCigarette butts all over our yard
We went with Bob's instead of Lowe's or Home Depot because we felt professionals would do a better job

Refusing to repair their awful work & honor the warranty I was told existed at the time of purchase
We first purchased the carpet in February of During this purchase we were told that it came with a lifetime warranty in regards to stains and any unraveling This was definitely one of the selling points during our purchase We purchased carpet for rooms, the bedroom and our office
Both rooms were gutted and there were no base boards, making it easy for installation As they put the carpet in the bedroom, they had issues on where they wanted/how to place the seam and had to call another installer that came from another location The seam was actually placed approximately feet just inside the entry way to the roomI was told by the installer that they might need to come back out and tighten the carpet after we place the furniture in the room A few months later, I did have them come back out due to the carpet having ripples from not being tight enough I was told

I would not recommend anyone buy from this company due to cheap products and HORRIBLE customer service We had a client who wanted to take advantage of a Memorial Day sale which is why we went ahead and bought from Bob's Carpet Mart We purchased a Mohawk product, thinking it would be good quality The hardwood laminate flooring was cheap and difficult to work with (we are experienced with laying laminate flooring) The cardboard backing that is supposed to snap together breaks off easily and it just really did not go together well in several places
Even before that, we had problems with this company as we placed the order on May 18th and I was told it would arrive in - days and we would be contacted yet I had to call the store after June 1st since no one had called We picked up the order on June 4thWe were told it would be ready to load when we got there but the men who were in the store said their loaders didn't work on Saturday so no one could load it They were rude to us as well, but managed to get off their duffs long enough to get a lift truck and pick our flooring from the back of the warehouse and load it onto our truck...then they had the audacity to ask us to bring the pallet back
The really aggravating part though was discovering over this past holiday weekend while finishing up the project that we were given the wrong transition strips We requested T-molding but received pieces of square nose molding instead which would cause a tripping hazard for our client We tried using what we had in one place to make it work, but what is typically a metal holding strip with all other transitions was made of plastic which bent easily and didn't hold down the transition piece Ultimately, we had to go to Lowes and purchase transition strips there to finish the project, figuring we could return the product since it was their mistake Instead, the store manager informed me that their installers simply cut off the stair nose part and install it all the time I can just imagine how wonderful and professional that looks! I was also told that it was over days, however today is 7/and the product was picked up on June 4th - most companies would cut a customer some slack for that That was just a line though because the salesperson informed me that the company does not take back special orders What a rip off to our client!
If you value your time and your money, I would highly recommend going elsewhere to purchase your flooring This company does not care about your satisfaction and there are many other choices that do! No future customer of ours will EVER shop at Bob's Carpet Mart

Workers who installed vinyl in home not prepared, very unprofessional and rude
General manager of store was not willing to handle my complaint(s)
The salesperson RON came to my home and gave me an estimate on installing vinyl in kitchen and laundry roomI had seen an ad that was 50% off installation of all installed materialsI was never given a PAPER estimate by Bob's carpet mart, Ron called me later with the price(1087.00)Two men showed up on Wednesday to install the vinyl and as soon as they walked in said that everything was supposed to be removed from the counters/fridge doors, etc and they would have to reschedule, which they did for the following Wednesday
The same contractors came the following Wednesday, we had everything off the counters and were preparedAfter arriving at my home (not until 9:30AM) on May 25th, these two guys worked for maybe an hour, then said they were leaving to go get floor stripperBOTH guys left, and my husband was on the floor stripping

Repeated attempts over 10months to rectify initial installation issue No sealer was placed before laying tile
Placed our order with Bob's Carpet Mart in March at the Hillsborough location (Order #XXXXXX) Purchased Pecan - Fired Hickory tile for 1,sq ft including grout/installation for a total purchase price of $8,
Installation occurred on or around 3/28/by Diversified - sub contractor of Bob's Carpet Mart Beginning around 6-8mos after installation, we began to see signs of what appeared to be a white powder developing in parts of the grout Our tile is dark along with the grout so the white material stands out significantly After several attempts to clean, it would re-appear We began initial communication with Bob's starting in June I currently have separate correspondences with Bob's employees beginning with Robert *** (starting on 7/3/15), Mark *** (starting on 7/6/15), Harvey *** (8/19/15) and Ricardo *** (starting 8/

I purchased carpeting from Bob's carpet mart (US HWY 19N, Clearwater).and had it installed on 1/15/Within weeks the carpet had developed dark areasIt looked like the carpet was loose in certain areasPeople told me it was traffic patterns but I rejected that possibility as the carpet was only weeks oldI called the carpet company but since I was leaving in March there was not enough time to have someone come out to the condoI returned in November and had the carpet re-stretched on 11/19/The dark streaks remainedAgain I was told it was traffic patternI was not convinced as it escapes me how new carpeting can develop "traffic patterns" after a few weeks on the floor and with only one person walking on it.During this time I was in contact with Bob's carpet regarding the condition of the carpetI left to go back North again and returned in JanuaryThere were numerous calls to the carpet store from January through AprilRob, the store manager, came to my home one time,
