I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Summit's response is disingenuous but unsurprising. The assertion that the service company tried to contact me is false (there was no missed call on my caller ID nor any message left). Note that there is no denial that I have had to repeatedly call Summit in order to try and get this resolved. On the fourth day, a woman named Ramona did give me the office number to the service company. The technician that has the requisite skill to fix the refrigerator was out of town last week (of course). I spoke with the woman at the office and she told me that I would be contacted early this week. It should come as no surprise that I have not received a phone call. I will call them tomorrow and see if I can get the technician to come out. So let's review. A problem arises with the refrigerator. Summit hires a serviceman who fixes the first issue and then breaks my ice maker in the process. I call Summit, who hires the same technician to do the work. That technician does not call me and I am forced to call Summit four times to get progress. In sum, it is on the sutomer to beg Summit to honor its warranty, and then Summit leaves the customer to the mercy of unresponsive and incompetent service companies. I don't expect anything to be resolved by this; my hope is that my experience is available for review by the public. I think that my only recourse is probably to sue Summit for breach of warranty. Although getting a judgment in my state and recording it in NY/NJ will be a pain and expensive, it will at least give me some satisfaction.

The company that was scheduled to go out unfortunately cancelled without notifying us. We have the customer scheduled with Leawood Appliance Repair for this Thursday 11/**/16 between the hours of 9am - 12noon. They will be calling the customer directly. They can also be reached at ###-###-####.
