I was not going to do a review because I assumed that at some point The Sugar Bay Resort would fix the issue, and I obviously assumed wrong! I have always used travel agent and in the past I had never had an issue, until I booked my honeymoonWe were married November 8th and left for Sugar Bay Resort November 10th thinking we would have a fabulous time, I was wrongWhen booking, the description of the resort says it is newly renovated and when we arrived it was far from even being close to being half way renovatedThe first room we check into had a gorgeous view but the water in all the sinks had a brown tent, when we confronted the front desk they asked if we would like bottled water, we said not and for them to change our room after we had already spoken to other guest and they had no issue with brown waterthe next room also had brown water and our view was a wall, therefore we told them we would stay in the first room until the next day after check outOur third room had a some what ok view but by this point we had already packed our luggage up three times to move roomsThe water was still brown in the sinks so we used bottle water for a whole weekThe next morning we were surprisingly woken up by the sounds of construction going on right out side our patio doorThe sounds of wet saws and glass tiles being thrown from the 2nd floor of the resort into the bed of a truckThis happened every morning for the rest of our stayThey only had of the restaurant available to eat at because the others were under construction, I understand that the resort is mainly all inclusive but the service was for the most part was not very friendly, the best service we had was the bar tenders and the guys driving the truck to and from the resort to the poolOn day of our trip I thought that the housekeeper should change our sheets because I could tell they had not been cleaned since our stay, I took all the sheets and pillow cases off the bed balled them into a ball and through them on the floorAt this point our stay had not been that great so I thought I should mark the sheet in some way which I did with a eye liner stickWhen returning to our room that night our room looked nice and clean and when I pulled back my side of the bed there was the eyeliner markThe house keep had taken the dirty sheets balled up on the floor and put them back on our bedThis was suppose to be a great trip for a newly married couple and instead we spent most of our time complaining, not to mention when they did clean our room they never left wash cloths we had to call down every night for wash clothsI have contacted agency for some type of reimbursement taking it that they have advertisement on this resort but have yet to hear back from them since I told them I would not be taking the offer the hotel offered which was three nights at their resortI hope this review is a little helpful and if you stay at the Sugar Bay I hope your stay is a better then ours."

On Monday 3/21/at 8:PM EST, I was on the Bookit.com website and reserved an all-inclusive stay, including airfare, for two at a Cancun Mexico resort Upon clicking the "Book It" button to finalize the reservation, it took me to an error page, which included an error ID number, a toll-free number for guest services, and a brief description of the error (my airline portion of the reservation was booked, but there was an issue with the hotel) Confused by this error, I immediately called the toll free number and was on hold for exactly one full hour before a representative came on the phone I described the issue I experienced with the website to the rep, who placed me on hold about three times that totaled to approximately minutes on hold The rep assured me that the reservation that I booked through the website didn't come through, although the error message stated that my flight portion was booked I requested for an e-mail confirmation from Bookit.com to state that no reservations were booked under my name through the website to ensure that my credit card wasn't and won't be charged in the near future This request was denied I then requested for a reference number to support the phone conversation that we had, as an alternative confirmation This request was also denied After being on the phone for over an hour (mostly due to being on hold), I hung up and called the airlines that the reservation was set for to ensure that there were no reservations placed or on hold under my name I have never experienced this type of inconvenience with an online travel website before Although I have been assured that my credit card has not been charged, I am still concerned that this company has my credit card information and home address I do not recommend this website to anyone looking to book travel reservations based on this experience

I called bookit.com to completely close my accountAfter several attempts to unsubscribe from emails I continued to receive them which indicates to me a lack of customer careI was told that 'once you are a member of bookit.com there is no way to EVER delete your account.' I asked the woman to please forward me to a manager since I know there is in fact a way to remove that informationShe paused for several seconds and then continued to say there is no way to delete the account until she actually said "there is no manage here."
I then asked her to tell me the information she still has on my account- which included everything except credit card informationNo where when signing up was I prompted to consent to held information without my consent

I book a condo Panama City on the phone and they told me $a nite plus a cleaning fee of $40, damage fee $40, and registration $And they told me you get the $damage fee back at check outI said cool I like that, so I told all my friends to book for bike week, now they told all of us they keep all your money the $damage feeSo I told them to cancel my reservation and they want to charge me $So don't waste your time with BOOKIT.COM

My husband, daughter and I reserved a stay @ the *** (Jamaica-Montego Bay) December 3, through BookIt.comUpon our arrival to the resort we were welcomed to NO Power, the next day NO WATER and continued power outages going into our 3rd dayOur stay was supposed to be for nightsWe left a day early because of the untruthful staff and the lack of resolution on the bookit.com staff representative on staff to address out concerns in some urgencyWe ended up leaving a night early to return because nothing worked and the vacation at that point was a disasterNeedless to say, we never even received a refund for the night we didn't stayAlthough there was a bookit.com representative on the property claiming to be on the line with Bookit.com preparing to have full refunds or partial refunds given to people who endured most of there stay without the necessities, water/power nothing has changedI received email in weeks which was generic telling us that someone would be contacting us soon and that they are waiting on the hotel to send THEM (Bookit.com) an email saying please refund the unhappy customersBookit.com took ZERO responsibility although they have a representative on the property claiming to address the needs of their customers ASAPI have called, emailed and left feedback to both the resort and bookit.com explaining and re-explaining the entire ISSUE NOTHING.Bookit.com claim is that they wait for the resort to OK a reimbursement although they are the vendor and we paid THEMThey seem to intend to not respond and hope that customers will forget and take the lossThis site is simply unacceptableMy family and I travel often and tend to use all of the other websites and have never incurred an issue such as thisThey have NO regard for their customers and should not be able to continue doing business online or otherwise

I booked a night get away online on January 20, for Feb 9-On the Saturday before, I decided to call the hotel and ask a specific questions about the room I requestedGood thing, because there was no reservation for me anywhere! I called Book it who said all the right information according to their system, but I said it was not conveyed to the hotelThe first person I talk to wanted me to call back on MondayThe day I was supposes to be checking in! I said no, has to be fixed nowIt took from 8pm Sat until 1:30pm Sun to get it resolvedAnd the phone call came not from Book it, it came from the generous and amazing hotel supervisor!! Who argued for 30minutes with themI got the total run around, had to force them to let me speak to a supervisor, who told me she had to look into it because she wasn't up to speed on the situation, although I was told the supervisors were working on it and it was pendingBook it kept telling me they sent the information and the hold up was with the hotelI kept calling the hotel who said they had been waiting for a fax or email from book it and nothing ever comes thruFortunately, I went through pay pal credit and had a record of payment and would have been able to dispute and ask for a refund, but that would have done nothing for the planned vacation time I requested off from workTotal run around from this company who reads a script and doesn't get results unless forced too! Will never use them again and hope no body else will eitherJust because something is resolved does not mean they should have a good standing with the Revdex.comSame complaints over the years, that should speak volumes for a companyI had to push to get what they offered and I paid forThat's not the way business should work and not a reason to maintain a 'B' grade

I booked a 2br villa at the Barefoot Suites in Kissimmee Florida for nights through Bookit.comWe were on our way an hour into our hour drive and luckily I called the hotel to let them know we were going to check in late but they saw no reservations for us and that they were fully booked the past two days and for that nightI was so upset and called Bookit.com and they didn't know apparently and when I wanted them to look for something else for us all they had in comparison was an extra dollars, I asked for them to talk to there supervisor to give it to us for the same price as the other hotel but of course they couldn'tI don't understand how a company can do thisThey're so quick it take your money as soon as you press submit, but they don't bother refunding you until 7-days laterWe had kids and we're going to Disney but everything was booked up because of the holidaySo we had to head back homeThanks alot Bookit.com you couldn't give us a dollar discount when it was clearly your faultNever will I use them again, And you shouldn't either based on the reviews and complaints I see here now

I booked my Las Vegas trip through bookit and it was a breezeThey even helped me to find the best deal in my time frameI also added round trip transfer to my hotel
Flight was good then problems startedI had to go three different shuttle services to find out which one is going to honor my bar coded slipthen I went to Hotel, I was tired and slept
Next day I went to concierge to book my complimentary show ticketThey said I should have done it yesterday since there was a clause in small print show must be booked hours earlier and I was latethey gave me another deal and I took it
Then I wanted to use restaurant.com coupon they were saying they were going to email me a code and they didn'tI called in they gave me my coupon code on the phone said I should use it at website(bookit.restaurant.com) there is no such a websiteSo I registered to restaurant.com, punch it my code and voila I had my coupons
For the return trip shuttle service wanted hrs in advance for pick up arrangementsI did it before hrsI slept got the wake up call at 2:AM, went to wait shuttle service at 2:AM another shuttle service came picked up their customers and not accepted usI called in they said no arrangements has been done to pick up at this hotel at that timeSo I asked what will happen and they suggested I take a taxi and go to airportI asked for a refund and they got my E mail for itI am still waiting and this review is written after hrs of completing trip

Bookit.com offered free transfers to/from hotel and airport but they outsource these transfers to Fantasy TravelFantasy Travel didn't have us in the system at all and when I complain about it, bookit.com doesn't accepts any responsibility for itThey don't want to refund our taxi expenses

I placed an order on book it.com for an hotel stay at Dunes Village Resort at Myrtle Beach for a one night stays along with two tickets for the Ripley Aquarium The total of the booking was I processed this through my Bill Me Later account which goes through immediatelyWhen the order finished processing, I received an error message that stated that one of the voucher was not processed correctly and that an error had occurred and to contact Customer Service to receive this voucher I called there so called customer service and was put on hold three times in increments of minutes each until they closed and the phone disconnected The customer service rep had to speak to her supervisor separate times and each one resulted me being on hold for minutes She told me that she could not pull up my order and she was showing a different charge amount nor could she make a mock orderThen she suggested that I contact bill me later to see what details they hadReally? Why would you have to create a mock orderShouldn't the order information be listed in the systemThe prices on bookit.com constantly are changing but if I'm in the process of placing an order, there system should not be allowed to charge more than the agreed upon amount I should receive my second voucher which apparently they are not trying to give me, which is why she hung up the phone on me or waited and placed me on hold until close to closing time I want the voucher that I paid for and I need it by tomorrow because that's where I'm going on my trip Otherwise I will have paid for something that I did not receive After looking on Revdex.com it appears that there system often overcharges people and they use it to their advantage If you agree to one price, then that is what you should be charged and recieve the products that you purchased This company should be investigated for fraud not giving what they offer and over charging peopleIf there is a glitch in your system and you know about it then you need to be a moral company and give the customer what they paid for and fix that glitch in your system

We've used Bookit.com to book vacation packages twice and both times their service after the sale has been terribleThe first time we used them they never sent the transportation vouchers for travel from the airport to the resort and we had to hire a taxi for around $each wayNot the end of the world but a hassle and an unnecessary expense
Although reluctant to do so we used them again knowing we would have to stay on top of thingsThis time we booked a Couples Resort package to Jamaica with the stipulation that we would be notified which of the four Couples Resorts we would be staying at days (Supposedly, there is a discount in letting them choose which resort) in advance of travel
We are now two days away from our travel date, have not received the confirmation as promisedI've made several phone calls, spent hours on the phone, was never able to speak to a supervisor, was placed on hold for extended periods of time (30min.+), told to call back at another time, repeatedly had to explain to the customer service reps which package we purchased as they clearly did not understandEventually I was told that its not possible for them to send us the notification and we will have to contact the resort directlyThe same BS we went through the first time we used them

I SPOKE WITH CHANOYIA ON 6/3/AND SHE WAS WONDERFUL! SHE WAS PATIENT AND HELPED ME THROUGH MANY QUESTIONS AND EVEN HELPED ME TRANSFER FUNDS FROM A PREVIOUS VACATION BOOKINGI SAVED MONEY AND GOT A BETTER LOCATION! THIS WAS AN very aTYPICAL customer service experienceShe should be promoted to supervisor to train others how to really provide great customer service!

I have used Bookit.com previously and did not have any issues, the deals are great and the promo codes they send you always workI had a relatively small issue that I felt needed to be brought to someone's attention so I called the number and was given the run around at first so I asked to speak with a supervisor or managersomeone in charge basicallyI was transferred to another agent who could not comprehend my issue and once again I informed her I had asked to speak with someone in chargeI was put on hold for about minutes, she came back on the line and said she had spoken to her manager and that nothing could be done for meONCE AGAIN I asked to then be transferred to them and I was placed on holdAnother minutes go by and then I hear her take me off hold and not say a word and then place me back on holdThis happened times! REALLY? Why would you treat a customer like that? Every time I would say hello I would hear her pause and then place me back on hold and the music would start againI didn't call to make a big scene or be dramatic I just had an issue with different terms being listed in different areas based on the hotel you selectedNow I'm furiousI finally just hung up because clearly she never planned on transferring meOne small issue has now become a huge one and that is not how anyone should run a companyThey have lost a very loyal customer who PRAISED THEIR WEBSITE TO EVERYONEGood job BookitGood job

BookIt.com is running a "Bait and Switch" game Buyer bewareOn June 26, I booked and Paid for a package deal to travel on August to Hawaii for nights stay in Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort with airfare On July 8th I received an email from some Operations Support Analyst saying "Due to the Property overbooking your party will be relocated to, "Hilton Waikiki Prince Kuhio at no additional cost" I called the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort to find rooms were still available on my travel days I found BookIt.com advertising package deals for my travel dates at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort I tried calling this Support Analyst but I was unable to reach her I want to stay in the hotel that I booked I will post the final outcome

After booking a reservation in the amount of $1,I never received a booking confirmation but was charged the $1,I called their customer support team and was on hold for over an hour waiting to speak with someone about not receiving a confirmationI then deiced to call the sales team and they pick up right away and said that they could not find my bookingI then had to call my creed card company and cancel the $charge on my card to get my money back because bookit.com did not complete my bookingI stupidly decided to try and give this company a second chance and book the trip againWhen going to book the trip there was a $increase in my total priceI felt that I should not have to pay in increased price due to it not being my mistakeWhen trying to speak with sales to see of I could get the original price back I was told NO by a very rude sales rep named Domonique who refused to help me get in touch with a sales supervisorI then waited on hold again for an hr before hanging upIt seems that this company is not about helping its customers and does not believe in customer service and working in the best interest of the customerThey are quick to take your money, but when it comes time to assist you there is no way to receive help

I have used the service through Bookit.com recently on vacation trip to ArubaI booked a The Mills Resort Hotel room with capacity for adults, me, my husband and my son who is years old, from Dec to Jan
The Hotel didn't have a room with capacity for adults only a adults and gave me the option to sleep the three people in one queen bedI asked for price adjustment since I decided to have my son staying with my relatives in other hotelDuring this time the hotel didn't have the telecommunication infrastructure to call bookit and fix the problem and offered me to pay for international call or wi fii if I need to reach the agent BookitBefore leaving the send an apologies letter saying the internet system had some problemsCalling today, Jan to Bookit was even worst, the experience, The lady explained to me that I need to assume all these because I should have call then just right away when I was thereShe maybe right ..however with no option on communication service available ( as I need to pay for international calls from the hotel or if wi fii) so she suggested me to have had international roaming activate to call then if I need to, seriously??Then, She said that the resort confirmed her a different information on my roomI asked her to refer the case to her manager and even do an inspection on this hotel and check the room 224AThis is the worst experience I have had using this serviceIn the past, it was a good experience, but from this last experience I can say that the quality of information of services offered in their pages is not goodInformation is not real and the customer service want you to be accountable for their mistakes or hotels mistake

I had used Book it for the first time for booking an upcoming trip in December The initial processing was positive and payment options spread over several months I recently had my credit card compromised and was issued a new card Unfortunately, this caused a credit card rejection on an automatic payment request from Book-it I happened to look at my account, thinking a payment was upcoming, and noted a card rejection fee of $ Upon inquiring with the customer service representative, I learned that this fee cannot be waived My feeling is that I would of appreciated a payment notice for an upcoming payment that was due and would of appreciated a notification that my credit card payment did not process I could of remedied the matter easily I feel Boin this instance provided poor customer service practices in automatically assessing fees without reaching out to their customer first with a simple email etc

Summary: Bookit charged my Credit card for $5874.xx for a vacation, but when I didn't get an email confirmation the next day, and called them, they did not have ANY record of my vacation and when they offered to re-book me, they tried to sell me the same exact vacation for $8000+Not Good Service!
Specific Details: On November 30th, (Cyber Monday), I followed a promotional email to Bookit.com to look for good deals on all inclusive Caribbean vacationsI went through the search process, and found a vacation I was interested in, but there was no way to guaranty that we would have adjoining rooms, and we have a month old, so we really need an adjoining roomI called the Bookit Support #, and spoke with 'Theodessa'I gave her my search # and she pulled up my search, and read out the dates, departures and arrivals for our flights, the room level etc and even the priceShe explained that they couldn't guaranty, but they could put in the request, and she offered to call the Malia hotel for me to see if they could offer a guarantyUnfortunately when she put me on hold it disconnectedSo after minutes without a call back, I called Bookit againThis time another woman helped me, I believe her name was Alana(?)She basically said the same thing, and so I ended up calling Malia directly, and when they also refused to guaranty the adjoining rooms, I decided to go ahead with Bookit since it had the flights I wanted too and was a little bit less expensive than buying flights and hotel separately
I proceeded through the check out process, filled out all the required info, and got to the payment option and decided to try paypal credit (because of the months 0% financing offer)I agreed to get transferred to PayPal (which I have done a million times before), and completed the rest of the payment infoWhen I clicked submit on PayPal I got a processing signal, and then complete, but it didn't take me back to the bookit pageSo I pressed the refresh button and I got a notice that I couldn't refresh the pageSo I went to my email to see if I had gotten a confirmationI had received a confirmation from PayPal for the $5874.xx transaction, but I didn't receive a confirmation email from BookitIt was late, so I went to bed thinking that Bookit may be busy with Cyber Monday, and have delayed emails
When I got up the next morning and still didn't have an email, I called Bookit at 8:am (but they don't open until 9am), So I called again around 3:30pm and ended up spending + minutes on the phone because Bookit had absolutely NO record of any of my previous calls, or even any of my details regarding the vacation I had attempted to book the day beforeThe Bookit Customer Service Rep called PayPal, and PayPal confirmed that I had been charged $5874.xx on the previous night from BookitThe BookIt Rep ask PayPal to cancel my transaction, and then asked me if I wanted to rebookI wasn't sure, but ended up saying to "go ahead", because I was not able to get the same price to come up when I was searchingAfter the Rep got all of my details about flight times, hotel, passengers, etc, she then informed me that the price for the package was over $
I understand that travel prices change, but I am very frustrated that I spent hours and hours selecting and booking my vacation, was charged for it, and then Bookit did not bother to save ANY of my information, and would not stand by the price that they had already charged my PayPal Account
Recommended Improvements:
Keep track of your customer service calls (All of them)
Keep record of your customers that attempt to check out (honestly this is best practices for marketing to abandoned carts!!!)
Stand by the prices you charge on peoples credit cards, especially when one of your payment partners confirms that the amount was charged on the customers account
