I have so many problems with this company, it would take to long explain all the issues. First, they charge misc fees that aren't explained to you. I booked a trip last February online, but never received confirmation so I called the company the next morning to book. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the trip due to moving across country. The representative never told me I had 2 of the same trips booked, and just canceled one. Then 1 day before the canceled trip I received an email with a trip reminder!!! I called the company to inquire and yes you have a trip booked!!??? So I was out several thousand dollars at this time. Never got the money back for the flights or 2 nights at the hotel which was about $350 per night. Unbelievable, I am now trying to redeem some flight credit and having trouble with that.

My experience was overall good. I made my reservation and didn't have to make any significant changes. I received a good price for a flight and hotel to visit Vegas.

Worst online and customer service experience I have ever had. I tried to book a hotel in Arizona. The website charged my card not once but twice in the booking process. Then I called to try and have the transaction reversed. I was told that I had to talk to my bank and that bookit.com did not receive a confirmation. My bank informed me that the funds were already accepted by the site and that there was nothing they could do to reverse the charge.
I then called back bookit.com's customer service and the representative assured me that there wasn't a reservation under my name and that the charges would be reversed the next day. I desperately needed a hotel so I thought, "Ok. The process can not possibly get messed up over the phone." I gave the representative all of my information and payment. I was disconnected half way through and still charged. So three times all together with no reservation in sight. I admit I was a little foolish for being so naive and thinking it work the third time. I hope that this site goes out of business and no one uses them for hotel or travel accommodations.

The reviews they give for their hotels are incorrect. They don't give all details of their hotels, like there might be a train that is directly behind the hotel. Once you try to cancel they will still charge you even though it is because of information they failed to put on the hotel site. If you use bookit.com make sure you check other sites reviews first.

Misleading prices. Selected checked in luggage, assumed it was included in price. Nope. They don't reserve seat selections on the flights, so that's another charge you have to pay, and you have to go to the airlines page to select seats. I can't imagine the number of people who show up at the airport and can't sit together because they never paid extra for seats. Never seen that before in an online agency. Every single trip we looked at to our particular hotel included the daily activity fee. Not Bookit!!! Smacking myself over the head for using this site. Could have done the trip MUCH cheaper. And wait until you see how "friendly" their customer service is . . . hahahaha.

I used Bookit.com for first time and it was an horrible experience booking through Bookit.com.... They charge you extra money if you make a call to report an error!!!!!!! They say that fee will be waived and still charge you money... The worst website to book any travel or hotels... I have been using expedia, orbitz, priceline etc for long time and never had any problem... this was the only time I used bookit and will never use it again!!!!!

I tried to make an Orlando reservation & the first time the transaction was pending on my credit card but according to Bookit.com my transaction was declined. I called my credit card company which confirmed my transaction was approved. It took 3 days for my transaction to fall off my credit card account. I then tried my reservation a second time, same thing happens, and I am told to wait a couple of days that there was a problem with website and to next time to call in my reservation. Third time, now I call to make reservation and same thing happens, I now give 2 different credit cards and on BOTH my transaction is pending and I am being told my bank declined my transactions. I was transferred to customer service which was suppose to fix the problem. Spoke to Cody and his manager Fay was on the background telling him what to tell me, but basically their answer was to say that MY BANK does not send them the $. This company advertises rates that they do not have or can offer therefore they decline to book your reservation. Very unprofessional staff, rude and disrespectful. I was even told that there was no record that I had tried to make the reservation 2 times prior. After my last conversation with them, the rate for the hotel I was trying to book, disappeared as an option from Trivago.com surprisingly after I told them their reservations are FRADULENT.

I just wanted to say that, even tho this site seems to offer the best deals out of most other places for their vacation packages, however, I have had some issues with some of their reps. being misleading and not all being on the same page as each other!! I had a booking I made this morning for a vacation package, but then decided I needed to cancel it for FULL REFUND due to other deals and a different airline company with better times for me! I spoke to this one rep. this morning named, Barrett and I was completely turned off by him for the fact that he said that if I canceled my reservation, I would'nt be receiving a refund at all, and that we already hit penalty was his wording too, even tho I had only booked this like a few hours prior and wanting to double check to make sure my booking was canceled cause it still isn't showing up on my end yet that it has been per my request!! I don't know if this guy I spoke too, is new and doesn't know the real 24 cancellation policy for full refund, so I had to call again to verify that I'm entitled to my refund I paid for, for this booking and the lady Venessa apologized when I told her about my other experience with Barrett and says I should be getting the full credit back now I hope!! I've had some other issues with this company before with some reps not being that great and theirs been times I've gotten pretty nice and knowledgeable reps too, but it doesn't seem to happen as often as it should!! I been a bookit.com customer for 3 years now and I'm sort of on the fence of going thru someone else at this point when planning a trip, the one who seems to care for their valued customers and the ones who will actually provide us with what we need more too!! I mean if the bad experiences keep up, they'll sure loose my business for good!! Thanks or your understanding!
