Customer called in with his key Cylinder not turning WE asked the customer did he have a tow company he said noWe gave him the phone number to First state who we have used in the past The jeep was towed in was received with a broken shifter the tow truck driver stated that is how he pick this vehicle up ! We repaired the cylinder under warranty and also covered the tow bill Customer was informed the shifter was broken an told him to call First state WE did not break the shifter this is between the customer and First State Towing ! The shifter will cost $to replace

On 5/6/133,miles customer requested oil change , tire rotation and check a/c not blowing cold .Finding where a/c was low on Freon we topped it off and added detector dye to the system and said when the a/c starts blowing warm again return and we will look for the tracer dye On 7/5/miles customer returned with fluid leak brown in color and a/c blowing warm Findings where thermostat was sticking causing the coolant to back up into over flow tank and overheating engine, also seen tracer dye leaking from a/c condenser replaced thermostat and flushed coolant customer was advised due to the age and mileage there could be damage from running hot to other component's to the coolant system also a/c repairs where Declined On 7/7/135,miles customer returned with a coolant leak, we found water pump and radiator leaking explained to customer that this what happens when an older vehicle overheats Rep/laced water pump and radiator and Discounted the repairs for the amount of the thermostat and flushOn 8/9/137,customer returned with engine running hot and misfiring Found cylinder head gasket blown from overheating , We offered to pull the head off the vehicle at COST , customer declined repair and towed vehicle out At no point by adding Freon to the a/c caused any of the coolant issues

They original noise was fixed by adding fluid to electric power steering pump reservoir and that noise is gonethe noise that we hear now is for that particular model of Jeep with the electric power steering pumpthe pump comes on when turning the steering wheelthis is not a safety issue but a sound that the pump will make under certain conditions

[redacted] did indeed purchase a Ram Pickup from us and she asked us to install the bedliner and step rails for herWe told [redacted] that it would be a drop in bedliner and not a spray in liner to which she replied that is fine that is good enough for himWe also told her that it would be a $charge to install the items and she said okay please put it in my finance package with the bank [redacted] then signed all the papers and left the truck with us to have the items installed [redacted] came back the next day to pick up the truck after everything was installed and said everything was perfectThe next day her husband came in on his usual UPS route as he is our UPS delivery driver screaming and yelling at the sales manager that we screwed him and we owe him $and he wants a check for that amountHe stated we charged him $and the cost of the items is only $to which the sales manager said [redacted] we paid $for the items to be installed and we are entitled to make a profit that is why we are in business and that is our markupMr [redacted] then told him we are not entitled to a profit and wanted to scream some more to which we told him to please leave or we would call UPS and request another driverNow this is all after we sold [redacted] another truck days before that she signed all of the papers and drove the truck home only to come back the next day and say I don't like this truck it doesn't wow meSo even though we didn't have to we took that truck back and let her pick this truck outWe have accommodated them with the return of one truck but we cannot just eat the parts that were installed on the truck for them especially since that is exactly what [redacted] who is the person that individually bought the truck asked for, agreed to and inspected and took delivery of after the items were already installed Sincerely, [redacted] Brandywine Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

Mrs [redacted] was in our dealer 10/12/We did look at her Blue tooth issue we paired different phones to her car and all work to factory specs While Mrs [redacted] s was talking to my service writer she had a portable blue tooth in her ear that she was having trouble with Mrs [redacted] s then told us she needed tires and my service write looked at all four tire they were fine Mrs [redacted] called here on Monday and I agreed to meet her at the South Smyrna Wawa at 6pm I looked at all four tires and measured them All four tires are 9/across the width of the tire no abwearNote : These tires new start at 10/, so the vehicle has 15,miles on and only wore 1/off the tires is perfect Mrs [redacted] s is telling me the tires are worn on the side wall, I explained the side wall does not make contact with the ground.Mrs [redacted] showed me a report that Carl King tires looked at her vehicle and stated that the center of the tire was worn which is not the case due to the measurements I have provided I also stated that if you bring the vehicle up to our dealer I will do a courtesy alignment for free She said I am not driving up there The vehicle was certified and under Chrysler Certification the tires must be greater then 5/and they are

I refuse to get in to a he said she said issue with *** ***As stated before we took one truck back already and put on the parts that we told her we were putting on and furthermore she did not take delivery of the truck until after the parts were installed at which point she was fine with everythingTo say a bedliner will promote rust on a truck bed that is painted is absolutely ridiculousThere is nothing more we can do for her

The warranty company we use was disclosed to Mr*** times on different contracts along with the price of the warranty that he himself signed When he returned on Monday, we offered to refund the $to the finance company or leave it on This warranty comes with a cost that
again was disclosed and included in the payments he agreed to If Mr*** would like us to exchange it for a similar Chrysler Service Contract or refund the $1800, we would be more than happy to, but we cannot do both Neither are free and he was never led to believe so This protection is offered to every purchaser at a cost that is always disclosed and signed for more than once

*** *** ***In response to Mr***'s complaint he did indeed buy a Saturn Vue from us in March of Mr *** came back in March for a check engine light so we gave him a Chrysler to drive and sent his car to Porter Chevrolet to repair and they replaced the
throttle positioning sensor as well as the knock sensorWe paid Porter in full for the repair and returned the car to Mr*** at no charge to himMr*** then returned on 4/20/and stated that his radio shut off intermittently and there was a noise when taking his foot off the gasWe again gave Mr*** a Chrysler to drive and sent his car to Porter unfortunately the car came back from Porter when they could not duplicate the problemMr*** called the next week with the same problem with the radio so we had him come in and drive the car with our used car manager we then gave Mr*** the to drive and took the car to Porter and demonstrated what Mr*** showed usPorter diagnosed the problem and replaced the Body Control Module for which we paid them in full and returned the car to Mr*** at no charge to himOn 5/18/Mr*** said his oil light came on when making a right turn and the car was making a ticking noise when slowing down from highway speedsHe also said there was a sloshing sound under the hoodWe again gave Mr*** the to use and sent the car to Porter it turns out the car now has over more miles on it from when it was purchased and it is quart low on oil so Porter does an oil and filter change to rectify the oil light and ticking noise and purges the cooling system to rectify the sloshing noiseWe again pay Porter in full for the repairs and return the car to Mr*** at no charge even though the oil and filter is his responsibility for general maintenanceThat brings us to June 1st when Mr*** states that the radio is acting up again and that sometimes the car wont turn over when turning the key so we again put him in the to use and send the car to PorterAs of today 6/23/Porter tells us the car is fixed and is coming back this afternoon and that they found an electrical short in the negative battery cable where it attaches to the main groundWe paid for the repair in full at no charge to Mr***In my opinion we have been more than fair to Mr*** as we have provided him with a newer and more expensive car to drive every time he has had a problem and we have paid 100% for all the repairs with no charge to himWe offered to trade him out of the car for a new Jeep Patriot and give him exactly what he paid for the car but he refused because the payment is higherWe explained that he paid $for the Saturn and the new car is over $so the payment has to be higher since you are financing moreWe tried in vain to get a similar priced used car financed for him but the bank declined the loan due to credit issuesWe have addressed every problem he has had at no charge to him and even gave him the loaner car at no charge and then we had the State Police come in looking for him when he was driving the loaner car because he was driving at such at high rate of speed on Iweaving in and out of traffic they could not safely pursue him but got the license plate numberLast week he returned our loaner car with a blown out sidewall on the tire to which we replaced at no cost to him and put him in another carIn closing we have offered him options to trade the car which he refused and we have addressed all the repairs at no cost to himI feel we have gone above and beyond for Mr***Respectfully,

I have reviewed the complaint by Mr*** and would like to clarify that he bought the vehicle on 6/15/and the miles on the car were 78,
The vehicle came with a month or mile warranty that expired on 9/15/or miles from purchase
whichever came firstThe vehicle currently has 82,miles on it so he is out of warranty by time and milesI have attached both the original buyers order and warranty form
Although I am sorry he has had this occur he is out of warranty and to say we knew of this problem and added an additive to cover it up is simply not trueWe ran that car through a full vehicle inspection and reconditioning program in our service department before we put it on the lot for sale and put a warranty on itWe would never offer a warranty on a used car if we were aware of problems because we would have to fix the car under warranty, instead we would dispose of the car through the wholesale Auto Auction if it had problems and not offer it for retail saleHowever in an effort of goodwill we will offer Mr*** a discounted rate of repair for his vehicleOur shop rate is $an hour if he decides to fix the vehicle we will do the repairs at a rate of $per hourWe will also offer a discount of 25% off of partsShould you have any questions please contact our Service Manager *** *** ** ***

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I took the car in for repairs and I was told nothing was wrong with the tires and I didn't need a wheel alignment so they are lying check my complaints when I came in for repairs and it will show nothing was repaired also the Bluetooth issue they are lying the uconnect in the vehicle has not been updated since February of fact you can type in my vin number and check also my navigation system has not been updated since the same date; so they never deleted the people who had the vehicle before me, how is it certified? pre owned? I have a bluetooth for when I am not in the car so that is irrelevant to the vehicle I would like my car repaired but not at that dealership, because they never did the repairs I requested when I went in the first time I complained about things wrong with the vehicleHow can they say they will give the car a wheel alignment now that I contacted Revdex.com, but did not do anything the first time I brought the car into the dealership for repairs, if nothing is wrong with the car like they stated then what are they repairing? I took my car to two separately independent certified tire shops who stated the car is out of alignment that's why the tires are worn on the inside and pulling I have the receipts if needed
