My experience was great! I got paid what I was quoted in a very timely manner. Will definitely use again.

This was the second time I used BuyBackTronics. The speed is incredible, the trade in values are higher than the competitors and they are close to me in Orlando so the whole process is super efficient. Great company!!!

Was skeptical at first as with any iPhone buyback company but this company stood behind its word and offered me exactly what was quoted on their website. Just awaiting the payment check in the mail. Everything appears to have went seamless in this transaction. Would recommend to anyone looking to get rid of their old electronic device.

I sent in a Samsung Galaxy S7 and I got what price that they told me in the condition. Tried another company first but they gave me a lower price then what you offer me. I am very happy with the company. Will use you again.

I feel I was cheated out of IPhone X and iPhone XR because they were sold to me from spectrum mobile they were still iPhones $1000 iPhone $750 thanks for buying the phones but $600 for both phones. I never heard of a infinity phone but apple made the iPhone

It only took two weeks from the time I mailed my phone (with a pre-paid label) to the day I received my check. The process was fast, simple, and I received a fair price for my trade-in.

This is a company quoted $175 for my cell phone and once recieving the phone, reduced the quote down to $45. Nothing was wrong with it when I sent it
I purchases a new phone. I had a ***+, which worked fine with no problems. I accepted a quote of $175 for the phone from this company and mailed the phone. Once receiving the phone, the quote dropped to $45 stating there was screen burn in. There was nothing wrong with the phone when I sent it. I feel this is a rip off, why don't they state that when they give you the quote. I don't have any means to prove them wrong since they now have my phone.

Desired Outcome

Honor the original quote for the phone of $175. These phones are being sold on *** and *** for $229.

Unfortunately, screen burn in is a common issue with Samsung devices and is something that we ask customers to watch out for when selecting the condition of their device. You selected your device to be in "Good" condition and under the guidelines provided for this condition one of the conditions we state is that the "screen be free of any imperfections such as dead pixels/white spots/screen burn in, chips or cracks".

Screen burn in is something that takes place over a prolonged period of time and not something that can happen in transit or while in our brief possession.

Although screen burn in does not affect functionality in any way, it is considered an imperfection that significantly diminishes the resale value of your device. We have responded to your email by including an image and a video of the screen burn-in that we see on your device.

We can understand if you are unhappy with our assessment of your device. Our process is a no obligation process and we would be happy to return your device back to you at no additional cost.

Excellent service paid the agreed price for my phone.

I sent them a flawless, 2 year old iPad Pro that had always been kept in a case. I received an email that they were lowering their offer price after inspection due to two significant issues: scratches on the frame and a white spot burned into the screen. I am a detail-oriented person with a degree in Computer Science and I know that I did not miss such noticeable issues. They sent me photos. I told them either this was damaged in shipping, was not my device, or it had been damaged in their facility. There were several emails back and forth. They claimed there was no damage to the shipping box, but offered to open a shipping claim with the carrier. They claimed they reviewed surveillance footage and that mine was the only device of that type that was inspected that day. I still do not know what happened, but either they damaged my device, mixed it up with another, or just lied to lower the offer. I learned the hard way that I should have taken video of my flawless device as I was placing it into the shipping box and sealing it so that I would have had photographic proof. Since they had photos of what they claimed to be my device and I did not, I accepted their lower offer rather than have them return a now-damaged device to me.

While we understand your concern, we want to reassure you that we take the appropriate handling of our customers property very seriously. We have robust processes in place to ensure that devices are neither damaged nor mixed up while our possession. Our staff are adequately trained to ensure that they process one device at a time, with everything being labeled and documented at each stage of the process.

With regards to your trade-in, as advised and demonstrated with the photos provided, while the device was submitted to be in flawless condition, we determined it not to be damaged but rather having signs of wear that correspond with sustained use, such as a LCD white spot and wear markings.

Upon examining the shipping packaging used, we did not find any signs of damage that may have occurred in transit. Furthermore, LCD white spots occur as a symptom of excess pressure being exerted on a device over an extended period and can neither occur in transit nor while in the brief possession of someone else. Additionally, the wear on the device bezel is wear that is typical of sustained usage and not something that can occur either in transit or by accident.
Furthermore, we checked our surveillance footage for the day to determine if any such mix up/accident occurred with regards to the handling of your device and could not find anything to suggested that it did. In fact, as previously stated, no other similar device was processed that day to perhaps suggest a possible mix up.

We ensured that we did our due diligence to determine if any mix up or damage occurred to your device while in our possession and requested for you to provide your device serial number so we could do a final search in our system to determine if at all such a mix up may have occurred, however we did not hear back from you with the serial number and instead you moved to accept the amended value for your device.

Unlike a similar company that promised "more for your phone" Buybacktronics did not play the "offer and adjust" game. They gave me a bid and stuck by their bid after receiving and evaluating my phone. Communication and turnaround were excellent and efficient. I would do business with this company again.

When it comes to selling my used phones online I have always been very apprehensive. You have to trust that the company will not scam you or keep your device without paying you. I have had issues with other sites in the past. Buybacktronics is trust worthy, kind, fast, and helpful. This process was so easy from start to finish. Switch and bait. Offer a high purchase price then amend the offer to a low ball offer. Damaged my iPad buy cracking the screen.
I filled out the offer form and received and offer of $116. Upon receipt of my iPad I received an amend offer of $30 due to not meeting the offer (attached) standards. First prior to sending my iPad to BBT,LLC I had it inspected at an *** store and it was found to have no cracks and in perfect operating condition. I was told that there was a crack by the home button and that the iPad was not 3 G-wf as indicated in the offer attached. The offer indicated "iPad Air 2nd Gen, ATT 16 G none" there is no mention of 3 G wif. The iPad was sent in the original box, the iPad was secured in the original wrapping and secured in a shipping box and secured by styrofoam packing. When the iPad was returned there was indeed a substantial crack by the home button that was not there when I sent to BBT,LLC.

Desired Outcome

I'm requesting this business pay the offer of $116 or replace the screen on my iPad.

Mr. submitted his iPad as being an iPad Air (2nd Gen)/16GB/***/No Wear which we quoted at $116 for.

Upon receiving Mr. ipad, we inspected it and determined it to be an Ipad Air (2nd Gen)/16GB/Wifi/Cracked and offered him $30 for the device due to the costs for parts and labor associated with replacing the screen for the device, at which time Mr. promptly called and asked for his device to be returned, which it was.

At the time of his call, Mr. did not bring up any objections to the device not being cracked at the time of shipment. We agree that Mr. device may have been in perfect condition at the time of shipping, however, it arrived to us cracked, and since Mr. did not object to the condition his device was received in, rather he objected to the quote and asked for the device to be returned, which we promptly did so. Had Mr. objected to the condition that his device was received in, we would have retained the packaging for his device and proceeded to file an insurance claim with the carrier. Being that Mr. did not object and the original packaging no longer being in our possession, we are unable to file a claim with the original carrier as much as we would like to.

Mr. claims that he did not select 3G+Wifi on the quote, but his selection of *** means that his device is both Wifi & Cellular (3G) enabled, which it was not, as it was found to be a Wifi only device. MGL12LL/A was the model number for his device and an internet search will confirm that his device was indeed Wifi only.

Subsequently, it may be pertinent to mention that Mr. wife, Beth *** also traded in her iPad as iPad Air(2nd Gen)/16GB/***/No Wear which was quoted at $116 and which we assessed as being an iPad Air(2nd Gen)/16GB/Wifi/Broken and amended the quote offering $25 instead due to the device screen having having a very obvious "dark tint to it. This may be due to a non functional back light LCD/ or a bad replacement screen". A return was also requested on this device.

At this stage, we would venture to say that both devices and trade-in were willfully were misrepresented to us.
