My wife purchased a shell from Buy the Sea on 01/21/2020 and used her debit card for the payment of $39.00. The money was taken out of her account on 01/22/2020 at 0401. The order number she was given is 22641. we have emailed buytheseaonline.com on three different occasions requesting the delivery status - to date there has been no response. In addition, we have called the companies telephone number (715-701-0707) five occasions - got a message to leave a voice mail from "***" - on each occasion we left a message requesting the status or a refund. Again, to date, there has been no response.

This is the 1st and only response we received from BUYTHESEA. The company has not sent any other e-mailsor responded to our telephone calls (voice messages). We did notice yesterday that the $39.00 in question was refunded to our account without explanation. Based on this refund our concerns with the company are complete. However, the failure to respond to our previous attempts to contact them and the tone of this responsepretty well defines the attitude of the owners. It is also obvious they have complete disdain for the Revdex.com.That is – I don’t care about customers ordering from my shop, as long as they pay me upfront and don’t create waves.

I ordered shells for my hermit crabs and never received them, nor have I gotten a refund or even a response. Don't waste your money.

I ordered sea shells from Buy the Sea totaling $70.24 on Feb, 26, 2019. Order was confirmed same day. Next day I was told they sold out the week before. I inquired about the status of my order on 3/12/19. No response. I inquired again 3/26. On 3/27 BTSea replied they expect inventory. I telephoned 4/27. No response. I emailed inquiry 4/27. On 5/1 BTSea said never got the message. On 7/10 BTSea wrote that they expected inventory to arrive the next week. Shells never sent to me. I inquired again 7/28. No response from BTSea. I inquired again 8/30. No response from BTSea. I requested a refund 9/4. No response.
On 9/29 BTSea told me that a refund had been issued. But there was no refund posted to my account. I inquired why no refund had been posted. BTSea replied 10/12 (same day!) and told me about the heart attack. I agreed to wait until his recovery for my refund. Then I read on BTSea website that he had recovered. I wrote 11/4 asking for my refund. No response and no refund. I have been very patient --original order was in February--with this business but they have a history of ignoring my inquiries and requests for refund. My patience has come to an end.

This customer is one of the most rude disrespectful children we have come across told her that order was refused and refunded her she said she would file a complaint to Revdex.com just to harass us this was refunded and customer knows it just a pain but after having open heart surgery 6 weeks ago I just don’t have time for people that have nothing better to do with their timeThank you if you need proof of refund I will shoot you a copy

Please ask her for the actual hard copy proof that a refund has been issued, as per her offer. If she issued a refund to someone, it was not to me. By investigating her own hard copy, she might actually discover her own error.

I can likewise send you hard copies of my PayPal statements to prove that no refund has been posted from the seller. I spent 35 minutes on the phone with PayPal just now (12/8/2019) to make sure that they double check their PayPal records. I spoke to a woman named, "***." She assured me that no refund was ever made.

I made a purchase on this website Buytheseaonline.com on September 29th, 2019, it's been almost 2 months and I haven't received my products! I tried to email and call them but no response from their side!! They've already charged me!

I placed an order on September 30, 2019. It is now October 30, 2019 and I haven't received it. I've sent 4 emails and left 2 voicemails and have not had any response. My order has been "updated" twice, to "shipped" finally on October 22nd. The business is in Wisconsin and I'm in Virginia,and I've received orders from China faster. Furthermore, my last email requested either a tracking number or a refund. No response.

However, I just would like to add that I find it very hard to believe that you were unaware of my dissatisfaction. Made purchase online on April 1 for a total of 4 items. Received order confirmation and payment of $55.80 was made from my bank account on April 2. April 10 first contact to business via their Contact Us Form inquiring about my order/shipment. Was told via email (same day) that there had been a personal issue and that she would be sure it went out.

April 20, still had not received order. Sent reply email thanking for the update of April 10, also indicated I had still not received yet. April 24 checked order status online - 'awaiting shipment'.

May 22 - attempted to call business, voicemail indicated OK to send text to this number. Did so again asking about order status. Received response "Will check". May 31 - still no receipt of order, no more updates, sent another text requesting update or a refund. No response.

June 6 - called and left a very detailed message regarding my complaint/concern. No response.

June 19 - checked status online - still indicates 'awaiting shipment' dated April 10. No other updates. Left poor review on website and then filed this complaint.

While I can empathize with the situation that occurred and feel sorry that it happened, it is discouraging that 1) that is the same thing they indicated upon my first contact in April in which they said they would send the items ordered and didn't follow through, but 2) could not respond to my other inquiries.

That being said, the 2 reasons I am not accepting the response made by the business is as follows:

- They reference an order of a seafan as being the item that I ordered. This is not the case. Did not order a seafan; I ordered 4 different types of sea glass.

- They indicated that a refund has been given. I have checked my on-line banking and nothing has occurred with a credit.

I placed an order on April 7, 2019 and I still have not received my order by May 15, 2019. I’ve contacted the company and asked for a tracking number and was told I would be sent one as soon as their systems are back online. That was two weeks ago.
I had to contact the company twice before I received any sort of response and when I did get a response, it wasn’t helpful. I shouldn’t have to wait over a month for my items to arrive and it seems like no one can tell me where exactly my package is.

Early July, I purchased a conch from naturesowndesigns.com because I'm having a Moana birthday party for my daughter and I wanted it for decoration. They shipped it in an envelope and when it arrived it was broken. I emailed them with pictures and they said it was their mistake, it should have been packaged in a box with the appropriate protection. They assured me they were going to send me another one. I waited a couple weeks and didn't receive anything. I emailed them again and they didn't reply. I waited another couple of days and asked them if they were ignoring me. They finally replied and said they were going to send it but I never got it and then they said they refunded my money but they didn't. I tried calling and it goes straight to voice mail. I've emailed them asking for a customer service number and they ignored me. If they would have packaged my conch correctly in the first place, I wouldn't have to be going through this. I don't think it's okay that they messed up and didn't replace it or gave me my money back. One of the times they replied they said "we will lose money if we send you another" well maybe they should package things correctly. I am just very frustrated because they keep lying to me and ignoring me. I have never felt like my business doesn't matter to anyone before. The amount of times they have lied and ignored me is beyond me. I hope they don't do this to anyone else. Please make it known.
