We do not have a listing for this individual nor the business name on our site.  We spoke to the individual and confirmed between us.  On the initial request back in April, we removed their information from our site.

When a business owner registers a business with a government agency, the information he/she uses for that registration becomes public information and available for sites to publish. We do not randomly pull out information from the internet. The information in Buzzfile is obtained from another entity...

which collects public date. The customer provided this data and made it public. We have no record of ever receiving a prior e-mail from this complainant asking for his information to be removed. Nonetheless, upon receiving the complaint notice from Revdex.com, immediate action was taken. Although we have the legal right to publish this information, anytime the business owner informs us that they don't want their information on our site we remove it promptly. The Customer's profile has been removed from our site as of January **, 2015. To prevent similar problems in the future, Buzzfile is going to allow its customers to claim/edit/update/delete their listings directly on our site as of March 2015.

Business has never been registered with any government agency because it does not exist and I could not notify them because the "contact us" on their website did not work. This individual never contacted us to request this be removed.  Upon receiving this note from your organization. We have removed the listing and we have sent a response to the individual to advise him of this being done. Thanks.

Note, the complaint says our organization was contacted. This did not happen. Upon receiving the documentation/request from D&B (see issue above), the listing has been removed. We reached out to...

I contacted Buzzfile because they were listing my personal phone number as the number for a business, Houston Plumbing in Mt. Shasta, CA. From the look of their description of that business, it looks like bits of information they scraped up from here and there--the website they give for the business is actually a site for locating plumbers in Houston, TX!
I received a reply minutes later saying that they get their information from Dun & Bradstreet and that if I want to change my company info I should contact D&B. Hello! Not my company! So Buzzfile doesn't even employ people who can read--not a good sign.

The idea that a company has the nerve to make money from publishing information without taking the smallest steps to verify it--obviously anyone who goes to Buzzfile for information is making a mistake.

I closed my business Azure Orchids Floral & Decor in 2014 and this year, Buzzfile started [removed] about my old business. I started to have stalkers on the phone and in public. It asked me to pay to be able to edit and it has to be a one year payment up to $1000. Trying to be an online thief. Are you made in China or USA NY?

Please take my info down people will attack me with that fake income that Buzzfile listed up online.

Trying to list down my business income, creating their own questions and answers to make people think that I put it down for my own business.

I closed my business in 2014 and this year, Buzzfile started [removed] about my old business. I started to have stalkers on the phone and in public. It asked me to pay to be able to edit and it has to be a one year payment up to $1000. Trying to be an online thief. Are you made in China or USA NY?

I have already hired an attorney! This company has listed my personal address, phone number and inaccurate information on my small business WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I have had to beef up my alarm system and have 2 of my brothers to move in because I'm afraid of being robbed. This person /company has broken several laws. And I was also told to contact the attorney general which I did. I want my info DELETED, and I'm still dying them, as I have had several strangers knock at my door at home asking 5o fill out an application. I have a 9 year old son that's terrified. So I have taken action against buzzfile and associates!

I am writing to let everyone know that Buzzfile says they get every bit of information from public records. A. I have never given Dunn & Bradstreet any information. The annual income they say my school has in out of someone's imagination. B. I asked to be removed and I got back a reply that I could go on to the site and remove the information; however, you have to give them personal information to do it. Not going to happen. C. It says I have been operating for 7 years. Totally inaccurate. D. Says I employ 2 persons. I do not employ anyone. I am the only person. E. It uses a website that was another company website address. I want it totally DOWN. NOW.

Review: This company has published my home address and telephone number on internet without my consent. Upon my request, [redacted] removed my home address from public view, since I also work from home and am hiding from a [redacted] whom I currently have a permanent restraining order against. I emailed Buzzfile Media LLC over thirty times requesting removal of my business profile however all attempts to get through were ignored. As a result of this inconvenience I may have to move once again with my two small children. This company and whom ever runs it is heartless and unethical, I suspect they already know this.Desired Settlement: Delete my company profile from this shameless company's website.

She sent the same email 10 times over in the same day. Did the same thing again a few days later. Our spam filter flagged them as being spam and dumped everything into a spam folder.

Just for the record per our agreement with [redacted] we only get their "Marketable" database. We don't get any records that are missing an address or phone number.

Regardless we will remove her profile from our site this weekend.

Review: There has never been a relationship with this company. This company has posted personal indentifying information (PII) which consent. On january * 2016 I spoke to a "Tonya" marketing manager and advised her that the information that they published could cause harm. When I asked to speak to someone above her she hung up the phone. I called back and was told that she was the only person who could take calls of this nature.Desired Settlement: Removal of my information and this site is dismantled.
