Review: They call every few minutes to my job even after I asked them not to due to me being written up for personal calls. I have never been 30 days late. I have been a few days late on my payment. They keep changing the amount that is due, They call all my family every day harassing them , They start calling my phone at 730am and dont stop untill 9pm. They have harassed me to the point I want them to pick up my car. I understand they have a right to call to remind you that a payment is due. But I do not believe it is right that call every few minutes everyday from the time the payment is due in a few days till whenever you make your payment. If I am ok with getting a late fee why should they care.Desired Settlement: I want them to not be able to call my friends or family or me . They should only be able to call me if I am 30 Days late. Not 5 days before payment is due. They need to change how they deal with their customers. They have alot of complaints

Review: I made an online payment for my daughter's vehicle which was deducted from my account twice. I submitted a dispute to my bank and the extra payment was refunded. I made another payment the next month which they rejected because I had disputed the charge the month before. They said their system would not allow them to accept online payments from my account because a payment had been rejected. I explained that I only disputed the second charge that wasn't authorized but they said it didn't matter. Now they show that 2 payments were returned which is not the case. They won't even accept a check through my online banking. I asked to speak to a supervisor but she refused to speak to me because I wasn't my daughter. Their customer service is terrible and their system makes no sense. They are rude and threatening which is unnecessary. I am trying to make my payments but because of their system they won't accept them. Now I am concerned that my daughter's credit report is going to show 2 returned payments when that is not the case.Desired Settlement: I want California Auto Finance to clear the incorrect information in their system. I want them to accept responsibility for the problem and work to correct the situation. I also want my daughter's credit report to be cleared. The rude and threatening phone calls also need to stop. The collection department calling everyone on the application is wrong.

your bank you are cancelling any on-line payment from California Auto Finance.

Since there is NOT a check number to reference the cancelled payment your bank

will reject all on-line California Auto Finance payments. In order for us

bank stating there is NO cancelled payment in effect for California Auto

Finance. Please be assured that your daughters credit NOT been affected

by this and remains in good standing.

Review: Complaint regarding customer service. Unprofessional service, account manager yelled and was very rude to customer about account regarding a vehicle payment. Account manager deliberately argued with customer being very unprofessional, no communication skills. Account manager was very aggressive and customer could not get a word in from account manager yelling and refusing to help customer with the account issue. Customer was very distressed and afraid because account manager made customer feel unsafe with talking and asking important questions regarding account. Refused to give employee Id number, refused to let customer speak to supervisor. Customer made several attempts to call for a manager or supervisor to address the issue. Company refused to answer any questions and return calls. Customer made several attempts for two months to ask about missing payments towards account for vehicle. Company refuses to return calls and address the issue. Customer husband called and left several messages to speak with the person in charge of company, no respond was made from company. Customer needs these issues caressed or change of finance company because the customer is very unsatisfied with customer service and it's very important the matter is addressed because of credit issues.Desired Settlement: Business is responsible for caring for the customer as advertised on website. Business is responsible for correcting mistakes regarding account issues. Business is responsible for returning calls and making sure the customer is safe with company and professional in there field of work.

Review: I'm in total shock, I mailed in my payment of $295 on time (02/15/16), I check my balance on the account on 3/6/16 and states past due balance is 0 pay off balance is $108, the loan amount is $295 per month. So I try calling in on the 7th to verify this balance owed of $108 and I'm on hold for over an hour, I wasted my whole lunch break trying to get threw, so when I get off work around 9pm there office is already closed. I try to do the right thing and make another payment online this time on 03/07/16 at 930pm mt for $308 plus their is $5 processing fee for a tolal of $313. That way I clear the whole balance and I buy down my March payment due on the 15th. Then! around 12 Am on the 7th of March my car is gone, My fiancé calls crying stating my car has been stolen so we called the police and was informed it's been repossessed!!! California auto finance how is this legal where's my money going, I'm lost for words. No one can get a hold of you guys!!!Desired Settlement: I want my car back and the account satisfied

of these allegation are invalid. We strongly feel we have followed proper

company policy and procedure. We never received the payment you said you

sent on February 16, 2016. We attempted to contact you numerous times as

of February 23, 2016 at the contact numbers you provided. You never

returned any of our calls. You left us no choice than to recover our

collateral. We put your vehicle out for repossession on March 7, 2016 at

this time you were 22 day past due on a first payment default.

Unfortunately, as you stated on your complaint you made a payment for $308 at

9:30 pm. Clearly this was after hours. On March 8, 2016 you called

our office 6 times starting at 8:34 am. I’m glad you were able to get

ahold of us to clear and inform us you had made payment. I don’t know why

the website would say you owe $108 yet you sent $308. All monies paid by

you have been posted to your account and I will be more than happy to provide a

payment ledger for your review.

Review: I have been making my monthly car payment however due to some strange reason California auto finance website has stop taking my payment, it take out the $5.00 processing payment but not my full loan amount of 330.00 I have contacted [redacted] which they have done an investigation and concluded that they did not stop payment rejected and during the time of debit amount to be removed from my account the funds were available. [redacted] also sent 2 letter stating that they were not the cause of this unfortunate event. California auto had told two different stories first they stated that I have stop payment on my loan then they have stated that the funds were not available... I have a protection on my bank account which allow a payment to be process even if the funds were not available which that was not the case.. In addition California auto finance refuse to check into the reason of why this is happening not they are willing to accept any future payment online which now I have to pay extra western union fee.. also I have a negative report on my credit file because of this issue and I have never been late with this companyDesired Settlement: the outcome of this I would like to have reimbursement of all fee that occur because of this matter, which includes late fee, western unions and processing fees. I would like also an investigation done to see what occur and a letter of apology, also an update note on credit report

stop payment you placed on your account back in April 2015. Our on-line

payment processor, [redacted], has record of this stop

payment on file and the transaction (payment) was NOT submitted to your

bank. You were charged the $5 processing fee that you agree to pay to

process a payment regardless if your payment is submitted or NOT. In

order to be able to process payments on-line we need written documentation from

your bank that the stop payment from California Auto Finance is no longer in

payment request was processed and charged by our payment processor.

Review: Every month the same lady named [redacted] calls me, very rude and disrespectful.. I understand my payment may be late. But that does not give her the right to speak to me the way she does. She has called my wife, my mother, my grandmother and also my job. She is very very very rude when she calls. I asked her several times not to speak to me the way she does. She continues to do so and hangs up in my face... When I called to speak with her manager or supervisor, another account manager gets on the line and tells me no supervisor is available... I work in a call center, been doing customer service a long time.. I know for a fact its a supervisor available. This company is by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Review: This company is rude and out to mess over the customers. The customer service is horrible they talk over you and never let you get a word in. They try to scare you when you are not even 20 days let let alone 30 days late. I explain to the customer service rep that I would like an extension he stated flat out NO. I asked why and he states that I called in and which I hadn't and made arrangements. I told the rep that I spoke to on that first day that I wouldn't be able to make the payment on time that I would be late but not 30 days late. He stated that he couldn't wait that long and I stated I might can pay it on the 25th but I couldn't promise that. I told him I most likely couldn't pay it on that day and he tried to make me confirm and I wouldn't. So today I called and I wanted to get extension and that was flat out NO. He even stated that I have always made my payments on time and I have been in good standing and I stated right so I don't understand why you guys won't work with me. I stated I know i'm late but not 30 days late and the rep told me to get that out of my head that they could take my vehicle after being 1 day late but they don't do that they would be bad business if they did. I told him I can't pay until the 10th of May and I always do it via western union and pay the late fees. The rep loud and mad stated that he would take the next step. I asked him since I can't pay today and i'm not 30 days late what is the next step he told me he couldn't tell me that because I would try to hide the car. I calmly i'm not able to pay at this time like I told the guy before you guys were not willing trying to work with me so I guess you have to do what you have to do. the rep stated to me you put me on hold and I told him i'm at work and he states you shouldn't be calling me while your at work and stated well the last time I spoke with your company you guys called me at work so i'm not understanding your statement.Desired Settlement: I would like to speak with someone who is professional and not rude. I would like a company to work with the customers. I'm in good standing and in a bind trying to pay my bills. A little good customer service would be great. Review: On numerous occasions we have had harassing phone calls from this company in regards to our vehicle leased with this company. Within 5 days of our payment not being in their office they are constantly calling and harassing not only us, but are contacting people who we had used as a reference to obtain this vehicle. Two of these people we no longer talk to and they have no way of getting ahold of us. When we discuss payment issues with the company and let them know that the payment was mailed by our bank, they get nasty on the phone and demand that we make the payment through Western Union and pay the extra fee. They send us to "collections" if they don't receive our payment on the due date. No Grace Period and they are rude as ever when you discuss anything with them. They have even gone so far as to leave threatening messages on our voice mails for a payment that was 6 days late.Desired Settlement: Any contact by this company is to be done by mail only. Whenever we try to talk to their representatives, they are rude and threatening. They are to stop all contact with anyone else regarding our vehicle. They are to discuss the account only with us and no one else. Two of the contacts that we listed we no longer have contact with and don't know how to contact them. Nor do we wish to. All contact by phone is to stop. No more harassment

Western Union just in case payment is lost in the mail and to ensure we receive

department. As per the sales contract there is a 10 day grace period

which we honor. However, we do make courtesy calls as a reminder that we

have not received payment on their account. Please be assured that all

your numbers have been removed along with all references. We will contact you

professionally, abiding by the FDCPA. Despite our position in this case, we

have addressed this complaint with every employee who has reviewed this

Review: I was financed a vehicle through them.,I was late nine days on a payment and a finace lady [redacted] started calling and calling my cellphone. Since I didnt answer my cell she started calling me at work.She then started calling ny brot in law. I finally talked to her and she started to tell me she wanted the vehicle she then said she was going to report the car stolen if I did not give it up. She started calling my work again this asking for my hours and schedule. She also had my payday wrong and how late I was.

Horrible company can't believe after a year of paying my car note on time its all gone to intrest only! And I'm talking about $400 monthly! I'll never go through this company again. On top of that costumer service totally sucks can so tell they don't know their product!

I have been dealing with these people for over 3.5 years they are very rude and threaten to repo car after discussing issues of being late less then 30 days on a payment I will never accept any finance from them again

Review: this company has debited from my company account for the past 4 months and when I called to ask why, the representative (I assume they only have 1 working because she kept answering other calls while she was speaking with me) told me she didn't know. I only noticed it on my company's bank statement now and there is no phone or account number. After the representative left me on hold for more than 30 minutes, she just hung up on me. This is a very shady company as none of my company's cars are financed through this company and they are not willing to give me an explanation.Desired Settlement: A full refund, apology, and the business to close.

It turns out that the business was insuring my company cars but the representatives had no idea and neither does the business. I tried calling them several times and they would just put me on hold or no one would answer. When I was on hold, they would just hang up on me. Terrible customer service so I switched to another company.

Review: First I would like to start with they reposed my vehicle with it not even being more than 30 day late. I received no last notice to pay or anything, normally if my payment was late I would receive something in mail. I then contacted them immediately they instructed me in order to get my vehicle back I would have to pay/western union the amount of 1,047 witch covered January witch was late February witch was next months payment Towing fee $325 Police fee $15 Storage fee $30.I then contacted them back to let them know I had western union them the amount of 1,047 they had me calling all over for my vehicle nobody knew where it was. Finally a couple days later I was able to get my vehicle back. I then decided after this horrible experience to pay off my vehicle since I only had 7 payments of 339.72. On March 24,2014 I then Western union those 7 payments in one large sum the amount of $2398,18. I have waited over 90 days for my pink slip to arrive and have not receive nothing. So I give California Auto Finance a call see what's going on I talked to [redacted] " so they say there is a balance of $38.00" so then I mailed that in. Still haven't received a pink slip I call again and now there saying I have to pay another towing fee of $325 because she said it was towed twice. It was never towed twice and when I told her that,it took her over 2 hours to try to explain what I was being charged for and still she couldn't figure it out all I got you have to pay the $ 325 again to get the pink slip. witch to me is not far or justifiable. Every month I have a new problem with them. Online payment is a joke. Month one took them three weeks to process payment. Month two payment never goes through, I recieved an email with receipt of payment but the money never left account. Month three my payment due date has changed? Late fees for all!!! Month four online account info says no balance due, last payment made in 1967?!?! Month five payment goes three weeks without being processed had to call and have rude lady tell me I must have entered wrong account number. I copy and paste from a file the same way each month. Month six money is taken from my account two days before I go online to make payment. They tell me I set up auto pay. I have never and would never do auto pay. Not my thing. Had to go through my bank to stop payment. Month seven they take the five dollar fee for transfer from my account but not the car payment. I called to ask about it and the rude man tells me it's because my bank stopped payment. Sorry but that was last month buddy not this month. I asked for his manager and he said he was account manager and there is nothing anyone can do.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are all rude and so disrespectful. This company can care less about their customers. My payment is TWO days late and they call me every 30 minutes leaving threatening voice mails about coming to take my car! I'm TWO days late!!!! They said there is no grace period and they charge a $20.00 a day late fee! I have never been late on my payment before and they are unwilling to work with you. They are robbing the poor people who got stuck with them as their finance company. This company needs to get shut down for cheating hard working customers out of their money.

Review: For the month of October 2014, I had agreed with [redacted], a representative in regards to payment arrangements. We had agreed to split the payment of October in 2, in order to bring account current for the month of November. The initial call took place on October 15, 2014. I received a call from a restricted number and it was [redacted], a second representative. I had told her about my previous arrangements and she specifically told me that she didn't see any action on the account and will not authorize such arrangements. [redacted] then continued to tell me that she suggested I recycle cans, [redacted] my items, and/or borrow money. All in which I found extremely offensive. I then told her to check all her sources. She stated she would not. I asked if calls were recorded, she stated all calls were recorded but they did not notify the j coming callers of such action. I asked her to check on recorded calls, she stated she will not. I asked her to speak to [redacted], she stated that she will not. She then stated, "if no payment is made in full I will turn off your car and have it picked up." Then hung up. I called back, since my problem was not solved. I was transferred to [redacted] and she stated, "I refuse to speak with you until you have made a payment on your account." Then hung up. I called back a 3rd time and was refused the opportunity to speak with a supervisor, until finally I was transferred to a general voicemail.Desired Settlement: I would love for my previous arrangement to be honored, for calls to be checked and for an extension to a supervisor to be available. I would also appreciate an apology from [redacted] for being rude and inconsiderate.

Review: I tried calling him several times telling them that the vehicle I purchased was no good they do not care about the car breaking down on me they did not care that I had to pay $500 to get the car fixed the lady was being very rude and I told her you know what I don't want to do anything with this car I took the car back to the dealer and she told me she was going to do whatever she was going to do to me being very disrespectful to me on the phone all I asked for them was legal documentation stating what happened about the car situation they said I in voluntary recall did I told him I don't care I just want the legal documentation papers instead of a verbal agreement I was told I had a 90 day warranty on the car the transmission blew out in less than two weeks at me even having the car there was no warranty naked making appointments that they cannot keep there was just a total nightmare for me all I need to get out of this nightmare is a simple black and white piece of paper stating that they repo my car are that they close out the deal something these people are not cooperating with me at all I am tired of calling them I should not have to get belligerent with anybody to get answers and to get what I need I have told him I will be filing a complaint plenty of time they keep telling me its in things in the mail I've been getting everything in the mail but that I really need this before Friday I have another car salesmen willing to work with me and my credit issues but he needs to know if the car is repoed or if I get the car back because he needs to know that I'm not lying about not having the car anymore I tried to be understanding with these people but these people were not understanding with me I have a6 then I cannot throw money everywhere I am on a fixed income even though I do work I still have a low income so I told him I can try and make a little arrangement or something after the car broke down why would I pay $300 for a car that is sitting in the parking lot

6/2/2015. We are no longer the holder of

this contract. The original creditor who

sold this vehicle decided to take the contract back. Attached you will find a copy of the notice

of intent to sell for your records.

Review: My Husband [redacted] had bought a vehicle here in stockton, Ca last year at one of the car dealerships. I am the co-sign of the vehicle. Payments had been up to date. Until [redacted] lost his job and employment ran out. The last payment was in May which I could only make half the payment. This month June no payment. We had kept in contact with California Auto Finance. Last week we spoken to them about our troubles and sent emails. They had a nerve to Harass [redacted] ex-wife after we had spoken to them. They had spoken to Mr. Williams ex-wifes husband on Friday the 19th of June about the account which she has no involvement in. Then turn around and called my mother to harass her today about the account. My mother is in not in good health. I have no idea how the company got the numbers to Bernards ex-wifes husband and my mother. We had never used them as reference. I am a disabled person on disabilty. I do not do well under stress and I am under a heart doctors care. We will pay the whole balance off when my Quiet Title case is over and in the mean time we are trying to come up with some money by selling things that we have.Desired Settlement: Stop harrassment & stop Digging up phone number of friends, relatives and acquaintances who have No Involvement!

Review: Constantly harassing for car payment when I sent a check from my bank which the funds were in and [redacted] called today to say he sent the check back and didn't even bother taking it to the bank. Just because there was an issue once he assumes that theres no funds. Why don't this company accept payments over the phone with an atm or credit cards the payment would be there every time. He always calls and harasses making me pay and additional 20 dollars to send it through western union. I'm so fed up with these businesses taking advantage of and threatening me to reposes my car when I've never been 30 days late. They are so unprofessional and rude especially the females who work there. You can tell there from the Los Angeles region uneducated and disrespectful to paying customers. They know I'm young and take advantage of that with their threats I'm tired of their poor customer service. They need to all take etiquette classes when it come to dealing with customers. I get paid bi-weekly as I stated when I purchased this car. The never sent me a letter saying my check bounced or that they wouldn't except checks for my car payment. Very poor service and I'm very disappointed. I want my refund for all those western unions and for this business to educate there employees. Seems like this company is owned by the cartel all sound like crooks and low lives on the phone. I should have never qualified for this car the dealer Three Amigos and California Auto Finance are in screwing people over they lied about income my mother was working for a temp. agency and I only making 400 a month and somehow that qualified us for car? Look into this matter how many people were screwed over like us? Is this company own and ran by cartel members? I wanted to return the car after I drove it off the lot I didn't pick the car up until 09/14/12 and looking at the cancellation deadline it says 9/10/12 hmmm thats fishy? review of this account, we determined that we followed proper company

procedure. Two of the checks that you

paid to us were returned by your bank marked non-sufficient funds or not

authorized by customer. It is our

company policy to not accept personal checks either by mail or on-line when we

have received 2 returned checks.

Unfortunately, we do not accept checks over the phone. However, we do accept other forms of payment

Review: This financial company is the most unethical and, unprofessional and the worst. I was financed by this particular company. I have had full coverage and have had all payments in a timely manner. Every month I get harassed constantly up to 4 or 5 times a week asking for prove of insurance and my insurance agent has to fax & email as well as myself up to three to four times a week, two to three times a day. I have been threatened to have my vehicle taken away when they have already received my payment. I have prove I have full coverage and the money order receipts as well but every month is the same harassment. I have received calls in my working hours and I have notified them that I am working and what my days at work and schedule are. They harass my fiance when he is at work as well. I am very responsible about my payments and having full coverage yet I get harassed every other month. This finance company a tries to over charge me for "not having insurance" when I always fax and email them along with my agent the insurance information.Desired Settlement: I would like to stop being harassed when I am always paying on time. I have shown prove of full coverage insurance and I would like for the to discontinue the harassment over my insurance when I resend them the prove that I am fully insured.
