Very pleased with work done by Empire Today. The installers, Anabal and Hugo, did an amazing job of laying vinyl tile throughout my entire 1800 sq. ft. house. They were always courteous and agreeable to help with any requests, working long hours without a break. When I changed the original order, there were no complaints - they only wanted to keep the customer happy, which they did!

I was extremely happy with the sales and installation of my carpet from Empire Today. I received an excellent product for a price that no one ([redacted]) could beat for a superior product (half off everything sale).

The overall experience was a great one- from the sales representative to the installation crew- they were very positive and professional. I would highly recommend using Empire Today.

I had purchased a new house this year in April. I had Empire come out to my house for a quote. I started with the upstairs, Carpet in 3 of the 5 bedrooms and stairs. Laminate in Hallway and other 2 bedrooms. After negotiating of the price we came to an agreement of $6500. Then a day later I decided to do my remaining floors downstairs, Wood throughout Kitchen, Hall and family room, which was another $6000. Everything was fine with the upstairs install, but the downstairs install was horrible. First the installers had a hard time removing the tile from the kitchen, which took the entire day for them to remove. They did not get done until 10pm. I really felt sorry for them. After they removed the tile, they said that the floor is not leveled and needs an underlayment. Now before this, my sales rep asked the upstairs installer if they thought that the floors was leveled. The installer looked at the connected family room floor which was carpeted and said no your floor will be fine, you will have any extra costs. So of course I asked the installers that will be installing the hardwood, if there will be extra costs. He said he was not sure, but he will call me first thing in the morning so we can finish the floors. So the next morning, no phone call. They finally showed up around 11am. With no underlayment and picking up there equipment to go to another job. I was furious as I was having a graduation party the following weekend and my entire floor was pulled up. I also have a 1 year old that could have gotten hurt or something else. Of course I was not ok with what was going on so I told the installer that they need to finish the job today. He said that he told his manager he was not done and he wanted to finish this job first, his manager told him there was another job they needed to be at, but if I pay another $800, (underlayment does not cost $800) they will come back next week to finish. I was like WTF, I just paid over $12,000 and now they want another $800 after another installer inspected the floors and said the floors were leveled enough. On top of the installers manager not even giving a crap that our floors were all pulled up. So what was my options, they already tore the floors up and there were nails and crap everywhere. I was able to negotiate down to $400, even though I didn't think I should have paid for this especially how the install manager handled the situation making us wait another 4 days for torn up flooring. So between my sister and I, we bhed and bhed until we were able to keep the installer and finish the work. (I really didn't have much choice). The poor installers had to go back to the warehouse to grab the underlayment and then come back to complete the job, which of course they did not get done until 11pm because they had a late start. So now after all the work was complete, I called to speak to the sales manager (Dave), which took about 2 weeks to get in touch. After another 2 weeks or so, he finally called me to let me know that he will issue a $400 credit back to my account. I was very appreciative and surprised. Well.....That never happened and 5 months later I called to ask where my credit was and they said that the managers never authorized that credit. I was like this is a joke, this company will take every single penny you have then [redacted] on afterwards. I am now waiting for Dave to call me back and I am going to challenge him and ask him to pull our recording and I want him to honor what was told to me. I need more work done, but I will never do business with this lying company again...BEWARE!

My experience with Empire from start to finish was excellent!! the salesman was anything but as he was more like a facilitator and the installers left not only a neatly finished job but a clean worksite. My total Empire experience was less painful and just as competitively priced as the [redacted] stores and completed in a more timely manner.

Lousy experience all the way through. First they cancel the day of installation. Empire doesn't do the work themselves so if enough independent contractors don't show up they can't complete all of their appointments. What great way to do business...

So we had to reschedule. When they show up they don't bring enough material to lay the floor I had asked. They tell me they can reschedule or they can put it in the opposite way. My wife's due in a few weeks so I can't reschedule again. So they put it in wrong.

Nevery again.

We had a great experience with Empire. From the ease of setting the appointment to working with our sales guy to installation. It was awesome. We are very happy with what we feel is a very fair price for above expectation performance.

Extremely satisfying experience. The sales rep was thorough and answered all my questions, the installers were fast and did a great job. Customer service kept me updated of my appointment status every step of the way. And the price was definitely right.

Very efficient for scheduling the install, pleasant salesman, and very speedy installation. Small issue with carpet by the railing, but expect company will handle it. Plan to have more flooring completed with this company.

Getting new flooring from Empire today was a great experience from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend them.

I purchased my carpet in 2013 and paid the extra cost for the carpet upgrade for a high traffic area with the pet carpet pad. I have had the carpet professionally cleaned twice and I use my home cleaner frequently. I am very unhappy with the way the carpet has worn. I am also unhappy with two large spots in my living room that I cannot get to completely disappear. I have been in contact with Empire since December exchanging emails and phone calls. I provided the requested documentation with no response. They do not return phone calls or emails. I am very displeased with the Customer Service Department.

I was very pleased with Empires service. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. I was never up sold. They didn't sell my information. I haven't been flooded with requests for more business. All prices were more than fair and up front. No surprises.

Carpet purchased 11/9/15. Install was supposed to be 11/13/15; rescheduled for 11/16/15, rescheduled for 11/23/15, still no carpet. Promised calls from management but no calls. Just keep getting the run around.

Empire Today just completed installing hardwood floors throughout our home. We can't say enough about the team of installers that completed the project. They were professional, on time and most importantly their craftsmanship was exceptional. Our only complaint was the scheduling. Empire Today was unable to come on the scheduled date because the materials had not come in yet. The project was delayed a week, but this had nothing to do with the installers. They were excellent!

What a joke. The salesman was such a knuclehead. My house is very large, so people just assume I'm loaded. Fact is I just try to do the best with what I get, so after shopping around I had a pretty good idea of where I wanted to be when buying new carpet. He gave me a quote that was over $1500 more than [redacted] When I showed him that, he said he would need to call his manager to see if I was eligable for any aditional savings. With me sitting 4 feet away, he speaks to someone and throws out the "yea, they are stage 2 comfortable"... code I'm assuming means I have money. Who does that? How dumb are the people you deal with? Then he says his mnager has a secret lock box of savings i'm eligable for, but he can't get into it from his computer. I sat there stunned on how dumb this guy was. I just started drinking wine and showed him the door. Never deal with them again.

Here is a company that likes to waste your time. I am in the Dayton Ohio area but there is NOT a Revdex.com page for them so I will vent my frustration here. This morning I had an appointment between 9am-11am to have someone come out and quote cost of replacing carpet with laminate at a commercial property. The premises is still empty and I had to organize time with the property manager. So, annoying enough that I have such a large window to sit in an empty office waiting in vain for someone to show up. 10am rolls around.... no one. So I call the 1-800 number. The person I spoke to said that the salesman would call me immediately and let me know an ETA. 10:30 nothing... phone battery now starting to run on low so had to put down to reserve battery. 11:00 no phone call, no show. So I left, walking back to my other business (I am the sole owner of 3 business and this was an expansion... I really do not have time to sit around waiting in vain) phoning the 1-800 number 8 times before I got someone on the phone again. Placed on hold and the person came back and told me that she could not reach the sales manager because he was in a meeting. As a business owner I HOPE THAT WHOEVER OWNS THIS BUSINESS gets a sense of how their business is being managed.

We appreciate the customer contacting us regarding their concerns.
The flooring was replaced under warranty...

with a new vinyl flooring on January 27th. We thank the customer for their feedback.

The salesman who met with us was very knowledgeable on every aspect of the carpet and the procedures that would follow. The installers worked quickly and efficiently and were very respectful. I was very pleased.

Stay away from this company at all costs. They are a complete waste of time and a fraud!! They came to my house and promised me next day delivery after I picked a product. The next day, they called and said that the product was not available and were not sure when it would be. Then, they tried to switch me to another carpet, which I refused. Then, I tried to cancel the contract, which was near impossible to do. A total of 3 calls - (1) call 1: after I told them I wanted to cancel, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and eventually hung up; (2) call 2: I told them about call 1 and then the line was disconnected; (3) call 3 - finally reached someone "who tried to keep my business" but couldn't even give me anything official that he had cancelled my order. I asked for an email confirmation, but no can-do. All he can do is give a confirmation # (what good is that if there was a dispute in court). It seems like this is a routine part of Empire's strategy, to make promises that they can't delivery on. I turned to [redacted] and saw many had the exact same experience. This company lied to get business and should be sanctioned.

We used Empire Today in Denville, NJ to install carpet and laminate flooring. I can't say enough good things about them. Needless to say, we are EXTREMELY satisfied. From the ease of scheduling the consultation appointment - Rafael was great, very personable and knowledgeable. We had to change our installation appointment a couple of times which was completely hassle free. We fully anticipated the installation taking two days (a Friday and Saturday) but the installers were awesome - they finished the job in one day. They worked non-stop the entire day, removing old carpet, moving furniture, installing, etc. And they did it all without so much as a mark on our freshly painted walls! The product looks great too, we feel like we are in a new home or on vacation!
