I purchased Flylow Men's Baker Waterproof Ski Bib's (Black) from Camp Saver on Amazon.com on Feb 11, for $with shippingThe order documentation very clearly shows this and is attached Instead of sending me the ski pants, Camp Saver.com sent me a t-shirtUpon following up w/ Camp Saver, they claim that that due to human error they can’t guarantee all item descriptions, images, detailed specifications, pricing that are publishedThey claim they have this disclaimer on their web site, which covers this… However, there is no way to see this disclaimer from the information or links provided on Amazon.comI believe that their current position of not shipping me the ski pants for $is advertising and a major fair business violation

CampSaver advertises out-of-stock products for sale that it can never get in stock againI placed an order at CampSaver for a previous model year jacket that had since been discontinued by the manufactererCampSaver had discounted the jacket on clearanceWhen I placed the order, they listed left on the siteAfter I placed the order, the estimated shipping window came and went with no deliveryI contacted them and they told me to simply waitmore weeks went by and I contacted them again, at which point they admitted that they would never have the jacket in stock again and could issue me a refundThey held my money for over a month and without me contacting them and notifying them that the jacket was discontinued by the manufacturer and that they could never get it stock again, they would have simply kept my money and never ship the jacket
At the time of this complaint, they are STILL listing the item for sale on Google and their own website

Incompetent company or scammers in every aspect dealing with the customerI ordered a product from their site which indicated free shippingA few weeks after I placed the order I was contacted by their customer support with the line "As you noticed in the product page this product does not have free shipping" then they attempted to collect shipping to complete the orderWho does this? but it got betterNot only did they attempt to collect shipping they also wanted to charge more for the orderAfter another email exchange they decided to honor the original price of the item but they still wanted to collect shipping, as if honoring the original sale price was doing a favor for meAfter a few more email exchanges of me refusing to pay for shipping they tell me, that even if I do pay shipping the item is back ordered and will not ship until 1-months from now
Incompetent or complete scammers

Found out days before my trip to south america, that the Marmot Tungsten UL Tent I ordered from CampSaver was never shippedI called in having been expecting the tent for the last days to find out even though my order went through on paypal it was not approved by CampSaverI received no follow up and now am scrambling to find a tent before my trip

Pretty terrible website...I purchased two items that were shown as "in stock" on the website and paid for expedited deliveryI received an e-mail both times stating that the item was not in stock and would ship in 2-weeksI was refunded both timesTerrible online retail experienceClearly there e-commerce game is not on pointGo elsewhere

I had placed my order on www.campsaver.com on 12th,june.and order number is #***,and I bought three clotheses,and placed my order successfully and paid it.but the campsaver refused sent my order,I hope you can give me some helps,thank you

Where do I start -
1) advertising
2) Bait-and-switch
3) "captured"/charged card full amount before it ship....and still have/had not received product
4) lying about backorder dates
I ordered a winter coat on CYBER MON (11/26/18) from campsaver as it was 10% less than other online stores They said they had problems with the card, so I had to give another on which the charged the full amount immediately Then I never heard anything again When I did not receive an email that it had shipped (NOTHING on website indicated it was on backorder) I call and get a customer service supervisor that gave me a song-and-dance about how it might not make it for Xmas and did I want a different color? I said no, I want what I ordered Then they gave me another 10% off for my "trouble" (further sucking me in to wait, no doubt, rather than try and find it elsewhere)...and said maybe 2-weeks When I would look on their website, it still appeared as if one ordered it now one would STILL get it right away NO updated website that it was backordered I call again after Christmas and same stuff....not sure when coming, did I want yet another different color....they would talk to the buyers who would talk with the company and see what the problem was...would call back No call back I call again...."we spoke to the buyers and the company and you will have to either cancel your order or wait until SEPTEMBER 2019" It is January!!! Half the winter has passed by while I wait for the coat and they have my money....AND have kept me one the hook so I could not take advantage of buying it elsewhere at favorable prices on Cyber Monday or the Post Christmas sales (if they were to have told me that it was backordered....)NOW (January) their website merely mentions that it may take 19-day to ship!!! 19-days when they told me, and repeated as of today (1/18/19), that I would NOT have it until SEPTEMBER So they are lying - either lying on their website about the expected delivery dates (being only weeks), or to me (delivery date reaffirmed as September) Perhaps they are trying to get me to cancel as the price I have been quoted is much below what is out there now
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM...NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE PRICE SEEMS BIG DISCOUNT OFF "NOTHING" IS NOTHING AND WORTH NOTHING If I were to cost my time at minimum wage for the time spent on this (not to mention the aggravation) I would have ended up spending twice what the discount was 30% on nothing = nothing!

Unfortunately this was a stock issue on our websiteWe do not stock this item and will not be getting more in stock.We are willing to send an alternate option if the customer wishes

I would buying from discourage others from buying from CampsaverI have had problems with them in the past but a recent problem prompted me to report themThey advertised a price on a tent and then called me to say that they wouldn't honor that priceThey said I would have to pay moreIt's not my fault they advertised the wrong priceOwn up to it and take the hit!! It's the ethical thing to doI contacted other online retailers that are their competeitors and they all agreeNot just because they are competitorsBEWARE!!!!

I entered an order on 11/
The confirmation said t could take up to a month to ship
I waited a month and did not receive a shipping e-mail
I since then e-mailed campsaver twice and have not received a response
I essentially lost $

I purchased a Thule complete rack system from CampSaver They sent out a used rack that was missing so many parts that the rack was unusable CampSaver blamed Thule for sending them used equipment The Thule box they shipped it in was nearly destroyed I do not believe that UPS caused such damage to the box I believe that the rack had been shipped to a prior customer and returned and CampSaver merely shipped out the returned and used equipment to me Three trips through UPS was clearly more that the box could handle I patched together the box and shipped the unusable equipment back to CampSaver within hours and now they tell me it will take 7-days for them to process my refund So essentially CampSaver will have my money for nearly days and I have nothing Customer service is abhorrent as is the shipping department They don't care and they employ terrible business practices They should NEVER have shipped out the use equipment If I don't receive my refund soon, I will file a complaint, but I feel this negative review is warranted to protect other unwitting consumers

Overpriced and they don't list when items are back orderedI found out after the item wasn't going to ship for days! How can a site even stay in business doing that Customer service was rude and unwilling to work with their customers after falsely advertising what was in stock

It is rare that I feel impassioned enough to write a negative review for a company, but in this case I cannot contain my disappointment and frustration with this companyI have had slow order delivery in the past and especially around Christmas you expect thisHowever, when you place an order for over $dollars, and on the 6th day after ordering it still hasn't processed, you know there is a problemI come to find out my entire order was being held because a clearance item that was less than $was on back order - until sometime close to a month after my orderThey would have actually held my order for another 2-weeks until that item came inMadnessTo make it worse, I am still waiting days later for UPS to get my packageI won't get my package in time for my hike and I ordered within the business days but Campsaver failedNeedless to say, Campsaver has lost another customer

Purchased an item off the internet, had my transaction processed and then was informed my purchase was refunded and could purchase the item at a higher price or be offered an undisclosed “reasonable offer”
after going online I found they repeat this process with many other individuals and have faced no repurcussions

This customer originally ordered a used demo item for $Unfortunately, we couldn't ship out that item, but offered a substitute item for up to $value (20% more than the original price he paid) for the inconvenienceThe customer chose a $backpack as their substitute. We
gave them a discount and so the difference between the $(what they paid plus credit) and the new item was$They refused to pay the balance because they felt they should have received the new item at the price of the used item they originally purchasedWe have not cancelled this order yet since the customer did not give us a decision on how they wanted to proceed with the order

This is one of the worst companies I have EVER dealt with I would never recommend anyone consider them as an optionI purchased an item and was immediately charged for the purchaseI am then told that they no longer have the item and that they cannot get one from the manufacturerThe item still listed on their website (over weeks later) but I am still being told they cannot provide me the item Something doesn't seem rightI would avoid using this companyThis company is shady and falsely advertises products and then tries to lie in order to avoid honoring the price

Purchased Optimus Svea camping stove from CampsaverItem was delivered and upon inspection discovered corrosion on fuel tank and burner assemblyRepacked stove, completed return authorization form, and included a color picture of defectCampsaver received defective stove and authorized a partial reimbursement claiming fuel was in the tankAt no time was fuel added to the tank and/or burner assembly ignitionTransportion of hazardous materials without declaration is a crime and I am aware of thisIt is my opinion, Campsaver sold me a used stove and is trying to recover their operating costs

Customer service ignored my email request for expedited shipping for an order placed over the weekend that didn't get shipped on Monday, despite the claim on their website, which is the main reason I purchased from them Then I was laughed at, told to have a nice day, then hung up on when calling today inquiring about expediting my shipping, even offering to pay the difference Worst first experience with an online retailer in an otherwise consumer friendly industry Ruined my day
