I should not have to do that, I have stated that YOU should be taking care this and removing from any and ALL promotions. You are the company who has been running my credit, you should be taking care of this not me.
As a customer of 5 years, I am no longer going to be using my Capital One Venture card. This is frustrating because I have perfect payment history and good credit. Here is why I have deactivated my account. I requested a credit limit increase so that I can move all of my monthly auto-pay accounts over to Capital One and utilize the rewards points, and the response came back "Declined due to low average monthly payment" This made no sense to me since I have had a zero balance for a majority of the time the account has been open, and now that I actually want to use the account and utilize the rewards points, why am I turned away? I spoke with a customer support supervisor and she says all the decisions are made by a computer system which needs some more time to calculate the numbers. You can't have a human being take a better look at consumer accounts to evaluate the situation? I'm sorry, that is ridiculous, and as a result, I will take my business elsewhere.

I do not accept the offer made by the business because [redacted] did not specify whether or not the account is still opened as of today or the account has been closed. Another thing, if the balance is eliminated from the account?

the disputed charge in the amount of $89.95, along with all the fees and Interest Charges that took place. You will see these adjustments on your June 2015 billing statement. On June 9, 2015, we sent a request to the Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs), to remove the past due history reporting for February 2015 through May 2015. For your reference, the control number for this update is [redacted]. Please allow these agencies up to 60 days to update their records. Below is a timeline of what took place on your account with the merchant ([redacted]). ? The merchant billed your account on October 23, 2014, in the amount of $89.95. ? On October 24, 2014, we submitted a Merchant Block Request (copy enclosed). ? On February 5, 2015, you contacted us to advise that you are still receiving products from the merchant, after you cancelled with them on June 13, 2014. We processed the dispute with the merchant and issued a provisional credit. You will see this adjustment on your February 2015 billing statement. ? On March 24, 2015, the merchant has provided a rebuttal to your dispute claim, we rebilled the provisional credit issued and sent you a letter (copy enclosed) requesting for additional information. ? Dear Mr. [redacted], Your complaint filed with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) was forwarded to my attention in the Executive Office of...
Kohl’s for resolution. While Kohl’s has an established partnership with Capital One N.A., we provide the in-house servicing for your Kohl’s Charge account. As it is my intent to provide our valued customers with quality service, I appreciate the opportunity to review and resolve your concerns. In your complaint, you state that Kohl’s failed to credit you for a returned Kohls.com order. You are requesting that Kohl’s process the full credit for this order, as well as reimburse you for any assessed late fees and interest. Upon review of your account, our records show that on April 30, 2015, you placed Kohls.com order #[redacted]. Regrettably, when placing the order you input the incorrect shipping address. You contacted our Kohls.com customer service on May 2, 2015, and requested we change the shipping information. We followed up with you on the same day and informed you that we were unable to change the shipping information once the items have been sent, but that we would credit your account when we received the merchandise back to our warehouse. Due to a system error, on June 3, 2015, a partial credit was processed to your account for $46.01, rather than the full amount of the order, $110.60. On July 27, 2015, the remaining $64.59 was credited back to your account. As a courtesy, we have credited the $25.00 late fee that was assessed to your account on July 16, 2015, and the $4.91 in interest fees that were in relation to this charge and were assessed to your account on July 21, 2015. As of the date of this letter, your account has a remaining balance of $49.40 stemming from a previous balance. I have enclosed your recent statements for your review. We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused. Mr. [redacted], I trust the information provided resolves your concerns. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at [redacted]. Sincerely, [redacted] Sr. Executive Correspondence Advisor Office of the President Kohl’s Department Stores

This isn't a final on the response and I do appreciate the help that was given so far. I best felt it would be better to have this in writing vs over the phone so you can see and compare it to your own records for my account. I found the information as far as why my credit score has degraded so much and it does lead back to Capital One. Provided are the details of this. It appears that nothing has been reported to the credit companies since Feb 25, 2016. It's just holding my last balance of 287 which is dragging it down, despite the fact that the account is now closed. This needs to be reported as my balance is paid off and that the account is closed. After talking with both [redacted] and [redacted] about this, they both agree that once it's reported, my credit will rise again, although the damage done to it is unknown until accounts are settled.

Capital one claims that I sent my response after their required response date (false) this was postmarked within their unreasonable deadline given to me. They also claim my response was incomplete, I provided the merchants own policy for returns and warranty highlighting the exact policies that they did not honor, I also provided dates of phone call and email showing that I made multiple attempts to contact the merchant by email and by phone.

than 5-7 business days and yet I have no check in hand. Tracking information would be helpful if it indeed has been sent out. There has to be some way to verify it has been issued and should be sent in a more timely manner. At this point is has been beyond a reasonable time frame.

Dear [redacted]
I’m reaching out to you as a follow up to our phone conversation on January 3, 2017, you’re your submission to the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) about credit inquiries that you advised were on your credit report....
In order to research your claim, we need specific dates that the inquiries appear. There are 2 types of credit inquiries. Here’s why they may be placed on a credit profile: - Hard inquiries do affect a person’s credit score. They result from an application for credit, and they’re visible to lenders who pull the credit report. - Soft inquiries don’t affect a person’s credit score. Examples of soft inquiries include prescreening inquiries and, in many instances, requests for credit limit increases. Unlike hard inquiries, they don’t show up on the credit report that a lender pulls when reviewing an application for credit. Only the consumer and the creditor who made the soft inquiry can see it on the reports from the consumer reporting agencies (CRAs). Prescreening inquiries allow us to identify potential customers and to tailor our products to meet their needs. If you’d like to be removed from the prescreened lists provided to us by the CRAs, please call the prescreen opt-out line at 1-888-5-OPT-OUT. You also requested that we remove you from receiving offers that you may be receiving from Capital One. I did confirm there were no previous opt out requests on file. I removed your name and this address as it appears above, from our mailing list. Keep in mind, if you were selected for any offers before we received your request, you may still receive them over the next several weeks. If you’re getting mail from us with any variations in the spelling of your name or your address, a separate request may need to be submitted. Variations could include, but are not limited to, the following examples: x Prior or former names x Apartment or unit listed on a separate line from the street address, rather than on the same line © 2017 Capital One. Capital One is a federally registered service mark. All rights reserved.x Initials rather than the full spelling of the name This request will automatically expire after three years. If you wish to renew it, you’ll need to submit a new request at that time. Please note that this will not prevent our partners such as [redacted] and [redacted] from sending offers through the mail. Hopefully this information is helpful to you. If you have any other questions or concerns, please give me a call at 800-955-1455, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET. When contacting me, please use [redacted] as the 6-digit PIN when prompted. My 7-digit extension is [redacted]. I’m glad to help any way I can.
