We appreciate the additional information you’ve provided; however, after further review, I can confirm that our decision will not be reversed. We sent letter a letter for your account ending in [redacted] on September 1, 2016, and a letter on September 7, 2016, for the account ending in [redacted] (copies enclosed). We also understand you would like us to report your accounts with a positive status. Our records show that your accounts are reporting as pays account as agreed and closed by credit grantor. On the account ending in [redacted], the account is reporting a 30-day past due payment for October 2016. We confirmed that we’re reporting accurate information, and are for this reason respectfully declining your request to change the information we are reporting. Minimum payments are due on all accounts that have a balance. Our records show the following actions took place on your account ending in [redacted]: • An AutoPay payment of $[redacted] posted to your account on August 24, 2016 • An additional payment of $[redacted] was made through our mobile app on August 25, 2016 • We sent your monthly statement (which had a credit balance due to the payments on August 24th and August 25th) on August 27, 2016 • Your $[redacted] payment returned on August 30, 2016, which caused your account to have a balance and become past due • We sent your monthly statement on September 27, 2016, which showed a new balance of $[redacted] with a minimum payment of $[redacted] due by October 24, 2016. • Your account became 30 days past due when your October payment was not received © 2016 Capital One. Capital One is a federally registered service mark. All rights reserved. Generally, once an account is closed and the balance is paid to $*, the security deposit is refunded and a check is mailed. We mailed a refund check of $[redacted] on December 27, 2016. Please allow up to 10 days to receive the refund check. We were unable to find any calls where you were provided the information you stated in your complaint. As of the date of this letter, the balance for your account ending in [redacted] is $[redacted]. Capital One isn't showing were a payment extension was offered in their system which is my biggest complaint. Lack of documentation. I have attempt to retrieve my old home phone history but I'm unable to get a set of those records as well. I have contacted my attorney regarding this matter and waiting on him to retrieve my old records from my phone. He will be in contact with this organization also. I do agree with capital one in reporting accurate information but as of this moment I feel as if they are reporting inaccurate data on my reports.

I recently applied for a Capital One secured credit card and was approved on 8/15 requiring a deposit. The deposit was made the same day and I was informed it would take 2-3 weeks to receive the card. My account was opened on 8/23. Based on standard banking practices the card would have been ordered shortly after opening account. I called on 8/29 and I was informed to allow 14 days from date of opening to received card. What I don't understand is why it would take 14 days to received the card (excluding any mail delays). The card had been ordered on 8/23 however had not been shipped. This either represent the need to streamlined the process and/or serious inefficiency with the process. What makes it worst is the Customer service specialist don't seem to be adequately trained to explain the delays/processing times.

[redacted]’s for resolution. While [redacted]’s has an established partnership with Capital One N.A., we provide the in-house servicing for your [redacted]’s Charge account. As it is my intent to provide our valued customers with quality service, I appreciate the opportunity to review and resolve your concerns. In your complaint, you state you never authorized your enrollment in the [redacted]’s Account Ease (KAE) plan. You ask for a full refund of all KAE fees previously assessed. KAE is an optional debt cancellation product that may pay the balance on your account in the event of an eligible loss. KAE can be offered as an optional product when a customer applies for a [redacted]’s Charge account or when using our automated phone system. You stated that you cancelled your KAE enrollment in April 2012. Regrettably, we do not have a record of this request. Your KAE enrollment has now been cancelled effective June 8, 2015, and on June 11, 2015, a refund of $21.22 was applied to your account. This refund covers all KAE product fees and associated interest charges that have billed to your account, and resulted in a credit balance of $17.83. You can apply this credit balance to your next transaction, request a refund check, or it will be automatically sent to you in the form of a credit balance refund check after 90 days of no activity. We appreciate your feedback on how to highlight KAE enrollment on our monthly billing statements and our website. Your feedback has been forwarded to the appropriate areas. Mr. [redacted], I trust the information provided resolves your concerns. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at [redacted]. Sincerely, [redacted] Sr. Executive Correspondence Advisor Office of the President [redacted]’s Department Stores
My name is Amy S[redacted] and I live in [redacted]. Capital One was here for me when I tried to rebuild my credit by purchasing a secured credit card with a account balance of $200. Their customer service department went above and beyond their duties. They were always very friendly and courteous to me. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is rebuilding their credit.

complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have attempted to get them to stop sending me offers many times now. I used their opt-out hotline starting in October of 2014, and in January I finally called them directly and spoke to two different agents who assured me they would escalate my problem and all communications would cease. They have not ceased still. I am still getting letters from Capital One. I do not understand why this company cannot just erase all of my information from their system which, to my way of thinking, would eradicate any future offers from being sent out. Really, I have dealt with receiving junk mail in the past and one phone call was enough to stop the solicitation. That is not the case with Capital One however, and I am not the only person they are harassing by mail. I do consider this to be harassment at this point as I have repeatedly tried to get them to end the unwanted solicitations. I am a woman on disability - just what do I need with a credit card? I can barely make ends meet as it is. I am going to enclose what they offered me, which really was nothing at all. As I said, I have been dealing with this company since last year and I am still to this day getting unwanted offers from them even after filing this complaint. How hard can it possibly be to stop sending someone unwanted offers? Why, after fighting with them for months now, are they continuing to send me unwanted offers and claiming they cannot expedite the process when the agent that I last spoke with assured me it would be expedited and stopped? I am obviously being lied to here.

Dear [redacted] I’m reaching out to you regarding your concern to the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) about the closing of your account. 11px;">After conducting a review of your account, we made the decision to close your account on December 22, 2016. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to reopen your account due to the returned check history on your account. On December 22, 2016, we mailed you a letter notifying you of the closing of your account. In case it’s helpful, I have enclosed the letter for your review. Please be assured that the decision to close your account was based on business concerns that did not relate to your credit worthiness. We apologize for any frustration this action may cause. If you have any questions regarding our account closing authority, please refer to your Customer Agreement, a copy of which is also enclosed. Capital One complies with all applicable state and federal regulations You also expressed a concern in your complaint regarding the hold on your payment of $[redacted] made on December 16, 2016, and information you advised you were provided when attempting to cancel your payment. I understand it can be frustrating to make a payment and then not have the payment funds immediately made available to you. Sometimes Capital One will place a hold on a payment to allow enough time to pass for your bank to process your payment. In some instances, we are able to contact your bank and verify if the payment cleared. If cleared, we could release the appropriate funds to your available credit. Our records show that we made conference calls with you and your bank on December 17, 2016, and verified with a representative at [redacted], that the payment did not clear at that time. The payment was ultimately returned on December 20, 2016, for insufficient funds. Further, we were unable to find any calls where you were provided the information you stated in your complaint regarding Capital One cancelling your payment of $[redacted]. During your call on December 17, 2016, you asked the Capital One agent if he can cancel this payment. The agent advised that you would need to cancel the payment directly through your bank. © 2017 Capital One. Capital One is a federally registered service mark. All rights reserved. I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
1. Just because they claim not to be able to find the offer, does not mean it was not offered. Capital I did not keep their initial promise to the upgrade. Instead, they kept me on a service that charges an annual fee without advising otherwise.
2. Now they've created a new complaint, Capital I [redacted] did not provide a definitive answer when asked, how long will capital I retain my personal info on a closed account?' The answer provided was not just unacceptable, but a direct violation of my constitutional rights and my consumer protection rights.
It seems Cap I is not providing proper training to their staff regarding regulations & consumer protection.

I had a large garage bill pending in the amount of $[redacted]. I wanted to pay the bill using my Capital One credit card and I wanted to be sure the balance on my credit card would cover it so I attempted, by telephone, to clear any transactions already on the card ($[redacted]) and make an advanced payment in the amount of $[redacted]. It seemed to me that these deposits were accepted by the representatives until a few days later the deposits were returned with no explanation as to why. I was accused of fraud by Capital One and with the aid of my Broker and his Secretary we thought we had the fraud issue cleared.
On the Dec. 27,2016 statement I received a note stating that my account had been closed and that it was reported to the Credit Bureau. Also in a phone conversation with a Cap One representative I was told that I had forfeited my balance of $[redacted] awards that I had accumulated.
An amount of [redacted] was deducted from my [redacted] and paid to Cap One on Dec. 02 2016.
My intentions were truthful and honest and with the exception of ignorance on my part I still believe that I was wrongly mistreated by Capital One.
Sincerely,

I am writing in regards to my complaint ID [redacted]. I am not satisfied with the outcome. I have already paid Capital One Financial Corporation the amount of $285.43 in by check on 5/6/2015. I cut up my credit cards because they said my account was deactivated. They are trying to reactivate my account and take the charges off and not return me my $285.43. I am not willing to reopen my account. I would like for them to mail me a check for the amount I had to pay in. Thank you.

,The issue isn't that you have never reported me, the issue is that you have reported me since Oct 2014. That was confirmed by [redacted]. They have stated that the creditor which is you, Capital One needs to contact them to correct the problem.I re-ran my credit report and it still has not been fixed. I can not coordinate your business dealing with [redacted], I have been told by Capital One several times that you report each month. However, [redacted] is stating that is not being done. Someone needs to physically make a phone call to [redacted] and get this problem fixed. Its unfair that how far this has to go to get resolved.
