I have purchased several items from C2C for me and one of my boys, my wife even snuck in a new shirt for our Maui trip and I felt great in their clothing, yes they are expensive but unique and I really like the additions to my wardrobe... They had a sale once about a month back and I should have jumped on it as we have loved everything we have in our C2C collection... Will be buying many more items from them in the future!

In my opinion their catalog presentations reveal much higher quality materials, colors, etc than what they actually sell. I ordered a long sleave shirt on sale for $44 from $89. The
actual shirt when it arrived was far inferior in appearance, texture and quality than the presentation in the catalog. Honestly, I don't think they are presenting the actual product's picture in the catalog.

This company is horrible. My revie is too long to write again. Go to the bird eye review on this same google page to read about them. They are a sad little incompetent company.

I so wanted to believe the other Carbon2Cobalt reviews were wrong... surely the beautiful merchandise in the catalog could not be THAT far from the reality. Sadly, I learned that I should have listened to the reviews. Fabrics and colors literally NOTHING like the catalog photos... my compliments to the photographer, I guess! Incredibly long shipping and return times. So disappointed. I have an actual photo of the shirt I got for my husband next to the catalog photo... I wish I could somehow upload it! What looked like a very thick shirt of ivory and indigo turned out to be a nearly transparent shirt of blazing white and powder blue. Buyer beware!

I placed a $700 order on 12/6 to have the items here in plenty of time for Christmas. I received an email with tracking information on 12/6 indicating that the package had shipped out via Fed Ex. Today is 12/17 and still no package. I called Carbon 2 Cobalt and they insisted that on "the back end" they can see that the package is on its way and will be delivered by 12/19. I then called Fed Ex. Fed Ex advised that they never received the package, that only a shipping label was created by Carbon 2 Cobalt. Fed Ex recommended calling Carbon 2 Cobalt back to initiate an investigation and provide additional details like whether the package was dropped off at Fed Ex or was picked up at the Carbon 2 Cobalt facility. I called Carbon 2 Cobalt back and spoke with a supervisor...who continued to insist that the package would be arriving on 12/19! I reiterated that Fed Ex DOESN'T HAVE THE PACKAGE and they can't deliver something they don't have. I asked her to call Fed Ex with me on the line and she refused to do so. I asked her to place a new order for my things and ship it out priority while they track down the missing package and she refused to do so. She said that she would have to refer my request to corporate and they would get back to me within 24-48 hours. Unbelievably poor service. This was my first time ordering from Carbon 2 Cobalt and it will be the last.

Carbon2cobalt - Ordered women’s denim jacket, which was actually really lovely and seemed well made. I ordered an XL - I generally wear an L or XL - and could not even put it on, it was so tiny! By regular standards, I would say at best it was a size Medium. So back it goes with a $7.95 shipping charge. Shipping was $13.95 to my home, so $22 wasted on postage for a mos-sized garment. Won’t order again from company.

I was disappointed with material from carbon2cobalt. read it in catalog as being 'HEAVY, suitable for those colder days'. I was wanting a shirt that I could use as a jackshirt. not close to heavy enough. I knew I was in trouble when the size of the shipping package was as small as it was. and then the shirt shrunk bigtime when washed the first time. and NO POCKET? will not be reordering.

Note: what you get may not be what you see! Ordered shirts and jewelry. Shirt fabric that appears vivid blue online & in the catalog was aqua when received. Other shirt material is v. thin. Overpriced in general. Will not buy from them again.

Carbon to Cobalt is NOT a company that I will do business with again. If you decide to order a shirt for example, measure one you have that fits well in the neck. Then ask Cto C what the neck measurement is from button to buttonhole. The shirts I received were 18 inches on a large.,approx. 2 and 1/2 inches larger than I wear. Never have I had this lousy of quality and I have been around for 70 years. BEWARE> Jim T

My opinion is that the Carbon2Cobolt products have extremely poor quality products. I ordered a $100 shirt that looked like very impressive in their online catalog. When I received the shirt I realized the quality was really poor. The shirt was paper thin. On top of the disappointment in quality, C2C puts all of the shipping burden on the buyer. They enclose a shipping label for you to return items, acting like they are doing you a big one if you don’t like the product, but when you read the fine print, they are going to deduct return shipping cost from your refund. There are much better companies out there that care about customers. C2C does not care, the risk is all the customers.
I will never ever, buy anything from this company again.

Let the buyer beware -- I recently received my first order from C2C and am EXTREMELY disappointed. I spent $580 on clothes and expected the clothing to be top quality, extremely well-made and luxurious, as per the sumptuous descriptions C2C provides online and in their catalogs. What I got is just regular, everyday clothing of the same quality I could get at JC Penney -- nothing special about it at all -- and every article made in China. Which is fine I guess -- if that's what you're advertising that you're selling-- but not with the false descriptions and obnoxious price points that C2C is charging. And is it a coincidence that there is no opportunity to post reviews of the merchandise on their website? Very poor experience, will never buy here again.

I purchased a shirt and pair of pants from C2C. The pants, so far, are alright and meet expectation, but the shirt is of very poor quality material. On receipt, I was surprised at how "thin" the material felt, but the tailoring appeared good. However, after only three washings, holes have developed in one of the sleeves. For a shirt at this price, one would expect something approaching a little better durability. Lesson learned, don't but shirts from this catalog.

I have purchased a few items from C2C and when the items were received they did not look like the catalog photos and the material was terrible. LOW QUALITY and paying the very high amount for these shirts I thought the material would have been much better The last shirt I returned did not have a tag on the shirt and smelled like cigarette smoke. Lets see how they handle my return.

With C2C, be *very* selective and you won't be disappointed. Avoid the more mundane offerings as those can be had at Eddie Bauer or REI for much less with similar, or even better, quality. Thin, dual fabric shirts require careful ironing on the reverse side to look their best. Quality has been getting better as of late generally, but I have had to return a few items due to shoddy QC. Alternatives with the same look and feel would be JL Powell (True Measure) or The Field Outfitters. Cheers.

Review: I previously purchased two shirts from Carbob2Cobalt and was thrilled with the quality and fit. My most recent purchases, however, were at least a full size smaller than advertised (though the catalog purported them to be the same size as my previous purchases) - and the quality of the shirts was vastly inferior. While this would normally just be a mild inconvenience (and indicate shoddy quality management on their part), Carbon2Cobalt is charging me $7.95 to return shirts that they mis-sized. Adding insult to injury, they will not reimburse the $15 they charged for "shipping and handling" to send me these items in the first place (two shirts, weighing only a few ounces each - and which were priced at nearly $100 each). All tolled, I will now be out $22.95 because their products are wrongly sized. While Carbon2Cobalt should be ashamed of this kind of duplicitous practice, it is obvious they are now sending inferior, erroneously sized items - with the hope that a percentage of people will simply fail to return their purchases. Shame on them.In an age where free shipping has become the standard, and given the obvious inherent sizing concerns about shopping for clothing online, this disreputable practice really needs to be brought to light.Desired Settlement: I expect a FULL refund (item costs, plus shipping, handling, and return), and Carbon2Cobalt should at least change their policy so that consumers are not left to pay for their errors and/or product misstatements. If they want to charge for shipping and returns under "normal" circumstances, that is certainly their prerogative (poor business practice as it may be for an online clothing retailer), but when they create the circumstance that necessitates the return, they should not profit from it.

Dear Sir,

[redacted] contacted us via email about his complaint, and he did not wait for a response before filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. The conversation back to ** is attached and clearly states that Carbon2Cobalt will not only reimburse his original shipping charges but waive the fee for the provided return/exchange label as well. We take our customer service very seriously, and we go above and beyond to help any of our customers. Thank you for your time.

Review: Mistake made over christmas order (four misttakes in total with this order), and they still currently owe me a credit for one item totally $167.00 They apologized and promised a refund in 5-7 days - 5 weeks ago! Again today apologized and promised a refund. This was a CHRISTMAS order - I am still not credited in APRIL. I believe that they are stealing from me and are crooks hoping that I would not notice the mistake on my VISA card. This company needs to be investigated for fraud. No one makes this many errors.Desired Settlement: They still owe me credit for a cashmere sweater that I did not order, along with tax and shipping associated with the order.

Response:

I spoke with [redacted] on 4/7/15, and we were unaware that she didn't receive the cashmere sweater in question so that's why we hadn't issued a refund. This has since been refunded to her and her refunds are complete. Thank you.

When I first saw a catalog, I thought of my son for Christmas. I gave him a gift certificate. The certificate arrived w/catalog at a great time for Christmas - as promised- and I think he will be buying more products! I also bought for my husband and he about wears them out - will be buying more for summer. Great products.

I received a magazine from C2C and was impressed with the styles they offered. After finding a jacket I liked, I (reluctantly) spent the $170 they priced it as because it looked like a very derable, respectable fabric. When I opened the package I was literally laughing at how poor the quality of fabric was. And the jacket seriously looks so awkward. Horrible craftsmanship. So overpriced. Anyways I'm just saying the pictures in their magazines are so misleading.

I love their clothes but am not in love with their shipping costs. I was going to place an order today but decided not when I realized the shipping cost would be almost $20.00. The more you order the higher the shipping costs. So let me get this, the more profit they make from my order the more they charge me for shipping. I do a lot of shopping on line and many online companies offer free shipping when orders exceed a certain amount. When you begin to add 10-15 bucks per item on items that already have a fairly high price point, I am discouraged from purchasing. Sorry, I love your product but no purchasing from me today.

I have purchased from Carbon 2 Cobalt on three occasions and had a question/issue needing customer support twice. On both occasions they responded quickly and even helped with a UPS issue that occurred once the package was out of their hands. I appreciated the attention to service on each occasion.

The products have always been satisfactory. The designs are very unique and fashionable but don't expect heavy or dense fabrics; these clothes are meant to fit and drape a certain way and therefore use lighter fabrics. That said, when treated well my garments have lasted a few seasons already.
