Review: Received several calls from this particular supposed business from several different locations but did not answer phone till 7/**/13. Was told that they were aware of my account with [redacted] bank and the high interest rates I was paying and that they could assist with bringing down the rate to 6% BUT with a fee of $893. Unfortunately, I bought it initially but after 1.5 hrs on the phone with them and after providing them with my personal info I began to realize it was all a BIG mistake. I told them that I did not want to continue with the process, they become very confrontational and threatened me with submitting my debt to them to a collection agency with an additional fee of $399. I proceeded to hang up and immediately called my credit cards to have them close out and issue new #'s. I also filled an alert with the credit bureaus. After I did all this I proceeded to call back some of the number on my phone to see who would answer...no one answered any of the phones. Some of the numbers were disconnected, out of service, only music played, answered but did not identify themselves only asked to leave you name and phone #. Very, very suspicious. I believe this company is a MAJOR SCAM.Desired Settlement: Find them and put them out of business!!! Name of some of the people I spoke with: [redacted] claimed to be the Manager of the company, [redacted], stated he was a Financial Counselor and [redacted] who was the money collector.

Review: In June I was phoned by a company that at the time was called [redacted]. I spoke with a women who stated that she could get my interest on my [redacted] card down to 6.6% for life as long as paid my bill on time. She stated she would act as my representative during this process. I was told that in order for her to do this, I needed to pay $798.00 that would be divided into three payments of $266. The first would come out July [redacted]. She phoned & spoke with someone who stated they were from [redacted]. While I was still one the phone, I could hear her speaking with a man stating he was with [redacted]. & arranged for my interest rate to be changed to 6.6%. However, I have since discovered that I was duped because nothing ever changed with this card. Next she told me I could get 0% interest on 2 other credit cards but I had to claim hardship to do it. She basically asked me to lie to these companies.. These people are smooth talkers & led me to believe they were legit. I gave them my bank account no. for the payments. First payment came out in July as planned. The second payment due in August did not come out at the scheduled time. I became suspicious that the company was scamming me. I could not call them because they never gave me their phone no. I was phoned almost 2 weeks later & was told there was a problem. This time I was given a phone no. to call. When called I was told that the company ran into some problems & had changed their name to [redacted]. They wanted payment & stated that my bank would not release the money. Same woman that I had spoken with before told me that I needed to tell bank to release the money & proceeded to get who I thought was my bank on the line. I was asked to wait while this woman contacted the bank. I waited & unlike the other times a third party was called I could not hear anything. I finally hung up & called the bank myself. The bank claimed no one called them. I realized for sure I was being scammed & withdrew all my money from the bank, plus closed the account. When I closed the account I found out that the company name changed again to Educare Center. I tried to look up on line both company names & found nothing even close to a credit card service. Since I have closed my account these people are harassing me. They want their money & are threatening to take me to collections & ruin my credit. They are now also referring to themselves as Credit Card Services. My husband has talked to them without success. He did manage to get their address & their phone no.. It is [redacted]. Phone no. !-###-###-####.

.Desired Settlement: These people need to be stopped from these misrepresentations and fraudulent claims. The argumentative nature of the phone person and the lack of an invoice or the service completed or the name even remaining the same

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Care Net regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They did not do what they said they would do. They have since changed their name, address & also their phone number. As of today they now have started harassing me by phone for payments I cancelled within the time frame they requested. [Your Answer Here]

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: This company called me in January 2014 about Credit card consolidation. I am retired disabled 66 yr. old veteran. They never explained plainly what they were going to do and misrepresented themselves. They transferred my credit card balance onto my wife's credit card, putting it over its balance and did not tell me about any charges for it because the phone call conversation was abruptly ended by them. They never called back did not explain that they were just transferring my balance and putting it on my wife's own credit card. This was not authorized by me or my wife as she was at work. This company called me on 4/**/14 and stated that they were to take $1,040.00 out of my bank account for their services which was never authorized to be done in the first place. If I had wanted to transfer the balance all I had to do was talk to my wife and do it myself. They have all ready taken $520 out of my bank account and called threatening to ruin my credit report. This company needs to be investigated and prosecuted for a crime.Desired Settlement: Refund my money that was fraudulently taken from my bank account, $520.00, do not ever contact me again and do not report any negativity on my credit report

Review: Basically I was advised that interest rate could be lowered on a credit card and the savings would offset the service fee charge of $740. Representative was not able to lower the interest rate on the specific card in question and continued to advise that they would look at all credit cards and ultimately be able to accomplish this. Very aggressive tactics in getting you to release your personal information by insinuating that you have already confirmed payment of the fee so you should let them do their job. In the end, this representative applied for a Discover credit card in my name with a lower interest rate. However, I was not interested in another credit card and could have done that myself without her help. Their goal is to do a transfer balance from a higher interest rate card to a lower interest card thereby justifying that they have provided you with what they promised. Since I was not interested in having them look at anything other than the original credit card they called on, they did not meet this objective but they did charge my credit card for their services. This has been disputed with my credit card company and I have also canceled/not accepted the Discover credit card and reported to them how the card was applied for. Of course, any efforts to call back and actually speak with anyone is difficult. They are never available.Desired Settlement: Refund to credit card and no future collection attempts for the "service" fee.

Sincerely,

Review: [redacted] lead me to believe they were part of [redacted] and would lower my interest rate and would only charge me $10 per month up to $990. They charged me all of the $990 on 1/**/14 .I called on 1/** to cancel this service after realizing they were not part of [redacted] and could only speak to an operator who would not transfer me to a manager. I left my name and number for a manger [redacted] to return my call but no return call has been made. I want to cancel their so called service and would like a credit to my account. I did not realize they were not part of [redacted] of [redacted] until it was to late . They had alot of my personal information about me which made me think they were [redacted]. Pleas help.Desired Settlement: Credit my credit card Account $990

Review: I was contacted by Care Net on July [redacted]. The caller stated their company could help me lower my interest rate on credit cards. I was connected with ** and after communicating with him he informed me that there was a government funded program that President Obama put in place. He advised me to not pay my bills for 10 days as that is the number of days to qualify for the program. He said it is a fact that I would qualify for the program and receive a 0% interest rate. I chose to miss payments on two cards under the advice of **. We set a call back appointment date for August [redacted]. I contacted Care Net on that date and I did not speak with **. I was forwarded to another associate from Care Net. The associate was to represent me on the call to my creditor. However, she did NOT mention the government program, she asked me to be dishonest. Nonetheless, my creditor was not willing to work with me. Later, that same day I called back and spoke to ** and he consistently stated I would get the 0% interest rate through the Balance Liquidation Program that he mentioned on our initial call. ** contacted my creditor via conference calling. We were connected to H. H informed us that by law I could not have 3rd party representation. I proceeded with the call and ** continuously cut in asking me to say my income has been impacted by my job, NOT TRUE, and my hours had been cut, NOT TRUE. I was experiencing hardships NOT TRUE. ** wanted me to be dishonest with my creditor. I was NOT dishonest with my creditor. I stressed to them that I needed a manageable monthly payment. It was a very stressful call! Once the call was completed I informed [redacted] that I did not appreciate having to be told to be dishonest when I was informed the government program and 0% interest rate was definite. I informed ** that I did not see why I should pay him $840 for work I did myself. I would never have paid my bills late if I would have known that the government program did not exist AND that I would have to be dishonest!Desired Settlement: I would like for CareNet to refund my $840 back to my credit card and an invoice and information from the company stating their services and expected outcomes.

Review: On 8.*.13, I received a phne call form a man with a middle Eastern accent. He had my PNC Visa account number, he knew the exp. date, balance, interest rate. So I thought I was speaking to PNC. he offered to get me a better interest rate. He then wanted to put a charge on my account, he said it was to negotiate the better interest rate. I agreed and there was a recording of a 3 way call with him and with PNC. PNC indicated their lowest rate was 9.5% and offered me 14.5%. Because this was not a lower interest rate, I said was not interested and did not want to be charged and wanted to terminate the transaction. I was told they could not reverse the charge because it was authorized, but they could take an application. I said no. I was transferred to a supervisor who told me he could not terminate the transaction because it was authorized but could take an application. I then proceeded to complete the application. I was transferred to a woman, [redacted] NEP who said she could not give me a confirmation number, it was blocked. I asked if I had applied for a new credit card and she said yes, a GM Capital One Card. On 8.**.13 I went to see my local branch manager of PNC who advised me to file complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Equifax, which I did. Later, I received a call from Capital One who indicated the call had not been initiated by their company and she would be responding to the CFPB accordingly. On 8.**.13 I received a GM Capital One card and an introductory letter. I put them both in the shredder. On 8.**.13 I received a call from [redacted] from a representative who said they couldn't get the $840.00 payment I had previously authorized, and asked me to please take care of that. I replied that I did not want the credit card and had asked the transaction not to be placed and would not take care of it. I was told the matter would be sent to collections. The business also called form [redacted]. Another name used was [redacted] from [redacted]. And another name is [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like the company not to send this to collections, and not to report anything to the three credit reporting agencies. I would like them to confirm in writing that the transaction was terminated and no further contact or action will be taken in regards to this matter.

Review: I am suggesting that a report be created for this business because the employees lie to obtain the results needed to close a sell. When I tried to call back to speak with the original person that I spoke with he seems to be always assisting others or not in the office. I was also unable to speak with the Office Manager to obtain my refund becuase I was dissatisfied with there service that they guaranteed.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that my credit card be refunded.

Review: Extremely high pressure sales, very pushy, confusing and intimidating sales tactics! I thought that this was to lower your interest rate on credit cards, however the one card that they tried to lower the interest rate was also suspended for a year. I explained to the representative that I was in the process of refinancing my house and paying off all of my credit cards, so that their services more than likely would not be necessary/needed, but I was persuaded that this service would be of great help to me. They charged $990 to my credit card, and had me recorded saying that I authorized this charge. However, I kept trying to make the point that if my refinance went through that I did not need their services, but of course they would not record that statement. At this point under great frustration & duress I just hung up.

I am sure that this does not show up on their recording, but I literally argued with them. Suspending one credit card does merit a $990 charge. This company's practice really does not seem legit to me and I regret answering my phone. They were all foreigners, so I had a hard time understanding them and I must add that I feel very stupid for not fighting harder. $990 is a lot of money to just give away especially when you are unemployed and all they did was lower one credit card interest rate & have my card suspended (that's not worth $990)! I feel ripped off and taken advantage of.Desired Settlement: If I can't get a refund on this service that was not worth $990, I would like for this complaint to be noted to others (customers) who might fall prey to their underhandedness and extreme pressure that they put on their customers. I don't feel that this company is legit, who does not offer refunds ? - especially when you are not satisfied with the service that they performed or lack of.

* One credit card interest rate lowered is all that they did, charge me $100 for the 3 minutes it took to do this service, but don't charge me $990 for this one card.

Review: Previously filed a complaint against Logic Works regarding unethical representation and fraudulent practice. Represented themselves as part of Chase Credit Card Company, to which Chase denies any connection with. I am now being harassed via phone by this company. On several occasions I have received as many as 6 to 10 repeated phone calls (back to back) in a threatening manner demanding payment for services to the point that I had to turn off my phone to stop the calls. This company also has sent applications to both Discover, and Capital One for credit cards that I did NOT authorize. Both have been notified that this was fraudulent. I closed my checking account before they could withdraw any funds. I fear that since they have my information that they will attempt to get money from another resource in my name under fraudulent circumstances.Desired Settlement: Stop harassing phone calls, stop attempting to get payment for unethical representation and services, not to attempt to pursue payment, not to file collections or attempt collection, and not to file with credit bureau.

Sincerely,

Review: I received a call today (Logic Works as they use that name too), saying that I qualified to lower my interest to 6.9% for my Wells Fargo Visa Card since I have not missed a payment in the last six months. At first I just assumed they were with my bank but they were not....they did not tell me at first that their was a fee, but told me that 798.00 would be made in three payments....I thought this was part of my regular payments but after some time, I asked and then found out it was their fee. I wanted to cancel and they threaten to take me to collections...since they were providing a service. They called my bank to lower my interest well payments really, they wanted me to lie to the bank and claim hardship and that my hours were reduced to part-time. I told them that I did not like the idea of lie....but forced me to lie or they would send me to collections and would not allow me to cancel.....I told them that I did not want their service, since I was the one that negotiated the deal with the bank....they were rude, unprofessional and use treats to force a person into their service. They did not give you the option to cancel or deny service. They are abusive and should not be in business....they also tell you that they are accredited with the Revdex.com, which is a lie since they have an F grade. I should not have to pay them any money and trying to get out of it....they claim that their fee is for life but they change their stories....they have on issues lying and they justify it by the fact that Wells Fargo made over $4million in fees but that they are doing me a favor. This business needs to be shut down and not allowed to practice business using threats and just being rude to customers and scaring them is not right.Desired Settlement: To not be charged with any fees and that they get fined for scamming and mus-treating, miss-leading customers badly.

Review: I was contacted by what they called "Credit Card Services" to help with my debt situation. They were to secure financing with lower interest rates for me through various credit card companies. Discover Card was the first application to be processed. When Discover contacted me to verify information they informed me they could not process an application submitted by a third party so I was declined the financing. I had been assured by [redacted] (phone ####-###-####) that I would not be charged any money until I received funds from Discover Card to alleviate my debt. I was declined those funds, as mentioned before, but was charged anyway. Now on the phone I am told that there is nothing they can do about canceling the charge. The reason I decided to absolutely not follow through with any help from this Credit Card Services/Logic Works/Care Net business is because when initially handling the cancellation of the application from Discover, the employee at Logic Works informed me I shouldn't have told them what I told them and that I should have just said I filed the application. I was not trying to be deceitful or anything, only answering the questions of the creditor. I could not follow through "financial advising" that advised me to lie to the credit card company.Desired Settlement: To receive a refund of the charge of $298, not be obligated to the second payment of $298, and to be able to cancel my affiliation with Logic Works/Credit Card Services/Care Net or whatever they decide to call themselves on whatever given day.

Review: I was contacted by this company claiming that they were working with [redacted] and offering to reduce the APR on my credit card to 0%. They had all of my personal information (including but not limited to my SSN) so I thought they were associated with my bank. This company is NOT affiliated with [redacted] or any other bank for that matter. I do not know how they obtained my personal information however, they have done NOTHING for me and now are trying to get me to provide them with my bank account number so they can collect an $847 fee! After harassing me for the past 2 months, I agreed to pay them the $847 either by cashier's check, money order or wire transfer if they would just stop harassing me but, they said the only form of payment was a direct debit from my bank account and told me that if I did not give them my bank information, they would send it to collections and it would negatively affect my credit report. After much investigation, I have no intention of providing them with any information or paying any fee. I have cancelled the [redacted] credit card with the number they had. They should be closed down, arrested and prosecuted for fraud!Desired Settlement: I want to make sure that my credit is not negatively affected by this scam! This company has done absolutely nothing for me.

Review: Received phone call asking if I would like to lower my interest on my Target credit card. I said I would listen. After I had determined that this call was not from Target and was something that I would not be interest in, I said that I was not interested. I was informed that I could not cancel, I was already obligated to pay over $700.00 to this company for their services. At this point, I had not received any services. With threats from the person that they would come after me and ruin my credit, I told hm that I was agreeing under protest. This company is using unethical means, misrepresenting themselves and using threats.Desired Settlement: I beleive that this company should be forced to stop conducting business this way in the United States.

Review: I was called by Logic Works while at work. They told me they could lower my interest rate on my Sears card to 0% to help me reduce my debt. They told me the charge was $798, to be taken out of my bank account in 3 payments of $266. We were on the phone for an hour and a half. The interest rate on my card was lowered, but not to 0%. So, they told me to not pay my bill so the company would think I was a hardship. Once I missed a payment, they got me on the phone again. In order to get the 0% interest, they asked me to lie about my job situation, the income coming into the house, and that I had depleted my savings trying to keep up with my bills. I did not like it, but I went ahead that day and acknowledged the lies. After 2 hours, I still did not get the 0% interest on my Sears card and I was in tears because of the lies. I then started to get phone calls from the Sears company because I was late on my payment and now I had to pay a late charge. When I called customer service to tell them that I wanted to cancel the service because not only were they unable to help me, but I considered their practices unethical. If they would have told me what I would have had to do in order to get the 0% interest, I would have never agreed to the contract. They ended up reducing the money I owed them by $200, which I was not happy with, but was willing to do because I wanted to get out from under. I told them that I was going to report them to the Revdex.com as they were unable to deliver the promised services. During the process the sales person I was with was privy to my bank account information. Thankfully, by bank gave me another card as they suspected that I was at risk for fraud.Desired Settlement: I would like someone to investigate the Logic Works company and either warn others like me or get them shut down. I know that I should have never agreed to the contract and I want to make sure others are not taken in by a chance to save themselves thousands of dollars. Of course, if I could get any of the money back that I gave them, that would be great also.

Review: I recieved a phone call from this company Care net (actually uses several different names as in Logic Works, Credit Card Services) claiming to be a bank. They had all of my credit card information including the credit card numbers and balances and claimed that they could lower my interest rates on all of my visa accounts to 6.99%. They then transferred me to a man named [redacted] who conned me into talking to these credit card companies. When he talked to these companies they were not willing to lower my interest rates to 6.99% but he then settled with them to lower one to 12.99 percent. When I told him I wasn't interested, he told me there was a $798 fee and that because they already spent time with me on the phone that I HAD to pay the fees. After looking into this business, it seems to be a scam. There is no business under any of these names they use on the internet and there are many warnings about them. I even used google maps to locate the address and it showed a vacant lot. My husband called them to cancel the money transaction and they said that there was nothing they could do and were very rude to him. They threatened to send my information to a collection agency if I did not pay. They supposedly have a 100% satisfaction guaranteed and I was not happy with their service but they absolutely will not listen to your complaint or are they willing to cancel the fee whatsoever. They do not do what they say they are going to do but end up conning many people out of their money. I spent all day closing my checking account and credit cards so that they cannot get access to anything. I do not want this to happen to anyone else. The address that we were given is [redacted] and the phone number to contact them is ###-###-#### and ###-###-####Desired Settlement: I would like to first of all know if this is a legit company and if they are I would like for them to clear me of all charges they say I owe and never contact me again.

Review: On April [redacted]I was contacted via my cell phone by an individual wanting to help lower my credit card rate. I listened as best I could(they were hard to understand due to their accent). He said that he worked with Discover. I asked the gentleman if he was with Discover (my credit card company). He said that he was. He stated that he could lower my rates due to my good credit history to 6.9% for a one time fee of $798.00 to be taken out in 3 installments of $266.00. He asked for my checking account number which unfortunately I gave. He said he needed our checking account number to withdraw the installments. He then informed me that he needed to put me through to someone else for a confirmation number. This lady came on the line and repeated what was said and said that it was being recorded. She then said that she would have to put me through to Discover. It was then I first started getting concerned about the whole deal. I just hung up the phone. I called my Discover credit card company later that evening and closed that particular card number. My Discover representative told me that they probably were a financial management business but that they did not work with Discover. They called several times which I didn't answer. They called a final time Monday, April ** which I did answer. The man who called himself [redacted], told me that He didn't want me to be billed for nothing. I told him that I didn't want to do this. I told him that the first guy I talked to said He worked for Discover. I told him that I called Discover and that they had no idea what I was talking about or with whom I was talking of. He then stated that I misunderstood the first guy and it was because I talked with customer service and that I needed to talk with the interest rate department. I again said that I didn't want this. He said that I would need to talk with his [redacted] who was the only one who could un authorize this. He then transferred me to a man who said his name was [redacted] and He was a smooth talker for sure. I kept telling him that I would do nothing without talking with my wife. He said he needed to give me a confirmation number. He transferred me to this lady who stated that I had authorized the transaction and I would be turned over to a collection agency if I didn't pay. I did initially agree with the lady but when I got suspicious I hung up. [redacted] said that he didn't want me to be charged unnecessarily. I told him I didn't want to do this that I planned on going to our local bank to pay off said credit card. He then said that he didn't want me to be charged with payments unnecessarily so he would need to know for sure that it was [redacted] that he was talking with. He asked for the confirmation of the last four digits of my social security number. I gave him the last four digits he then wanted the other five. I asked why he needed it, he said that he needed to make sure that it was [redacted] he was talking to. Wanting to be done with the whole affair I again made the mistake of giving him my whole social security number. He tried again to say he could save us money. He said he could get us a rate of 0.6% for a year and if I didn't miss any payments that he could extend it. I told him no that I didn't want to do this. He said he needed to patch me through to a different person who would help. This woman came on the line saying that the first payment would be taken out on May[redacted]. I, at that point, got concerned and said no that I needed to talk with my wife about it. She informed me that I had authorized this transaction and that I needed to set up a payment schedule. I again told her that I wasn't committing to anything without consulting my wife. She said that the reason [redacted] had transferred me to her was to set up the payment. I said put me back through to [redacted], she said ok with a sigh in her voice. I stayed on the line for approximately two minutes with no answer then I hung up. She called and left a message saying that if I didn't pay that I would be turned over to a collection agency.

Too late I realized that this was a scam or rather I should say a barely legal business. It was upon this note when I realized that I was duped again so we talked again with our Discover card company representative who stated that they did not work with Discover. That they just charged an outrageous sum to do something that the credit card holder could do themselves if they knew or thought about it. She also stated that the Discover would never contact the their clients in this way and that we already had the lowest rate allowed in the Discover percentage rating. Needless to say I was very foolish giving out my personal information believing that they worked and were affiliated with Discover but on the flip side they were misrepresenting (lying) about who they worked for and the percentage rates they could get. I have and will post with the credit bureaus of my identity possibly being stolen. How did he know I was using Discover? I realize that this is an electronic age and nothing is totally safe, but how did he know my credit score? How did he get my cell phone number when it is listed on the do not call list. I really thought they were with Discover do to these factors or I would never have given out that information.Desired Settlement: I changed my credit card number and closed my checking account. I don't think they can charge my new card but I don't want to pay for something that I was misrepresented to me in the beginning. I have since done some research and found that there are many people in the same situation that I'm in with this so-called company.

Review: I was called by Care Net or as they called themselves at the time [redacted] Services from ###-###-#### on Saturday, October **, 2013. [redacted] was the representative. He told me he was calling and reducing the interest on my 4 credit cards for a fee of $798. I initially agreed to this because he said I would save money on interest over the next year to more than cover this fee. As I spoke to him on the phone he called the credit cards for Chase [redacted], Master Card Juniper [redacted], and Credit one Visa [redacted]. He told me that he had gotten Chase to reduce the interest to 2% and that he had gotten American Express to reduce the interest to 0%. This conversation went on for more than one hour. I couldn’t stay on the phone longer and made an appointment for him to call me back on the following Monday October **, 2013 at 10:** Pacific Time. He said he would call back and we would finish calling to reduce the two other cards. On Monday October 7, [redacted] never called. I called the company three times asking for him and leaving messages. I called the next day and asked to speak to him and left another message for him to return my call. He never called. I called back again and was given another representative whom I could not understand. This person told me that only one card had been settled and that was Chase [redacted]. I told him that [redacted] had told me that American Express had been settled. He disputed this rudely. I told him I would call back. I called back and requested [redacted] and was told he was not there and asked to have him call me upon his return. He did not call. I tried calling back and was put on hold. I then decided either [redacted] was lying or the other person was lying either way this was not good. I went to my bank and told them what had happened. We looked up [redacted] on the internet and found the many complaints about this being a scam. The bank helped me cancel the check numbers that I had given this company. I then called the credit cards that [redacted] had said he had gotten reduced and found that this was not true and that he had never spoken to Chase or American Express. Later I got a letter from Chase that the account was closed as [redacted] called using my husband's name and requested the account interest be reduced due to a hardship which he did not discuss with me. But letter says a hardship was reason why they reduced the interest but were closing the account. [redacted] said they agree to reduce interest because I had been making payments on time and was a good customer. He went off line when talking to them and I could not hear what he was saying. He gained my trust then lied to Chase and to me on how this was done. This company had pulled copy of my credit report, which I did not give them permission to do so. They had me give them my SS# and my husbands SS# to verify accounts they were working on - then he told me he had a copy of my credit report without gaining permission to get this. I have had credit cards which he had worked on changed already and my bank account changed. But what recourse do I have if they charge me with the fee for services not rendered and make a bad credit report or send me to a credit collection agency?Desired Settlement: Leave credit alone, don't charge for services misrepresented.

Review: This company robo called me to my cell phone and used very strong sales tactics to convince me to use them to get my credit card interest rate down. I spoke to 4 people from this company. They charged $740 for their service. My biggest concern with this company is the fact they had personal information about my credit cards including the numbers the cards ended in and the balance on the cards. The company also listened in on conversations with my bank. I have had to change all my cards and accounts as I have nothing in writing or was verbally told if my information would be kept private. The company did reduce my rate however the advice that was given was not good. I was advised by bank to change a transfer amount that this company recommended to added to my account. Also the bank offer that this company recommend I use was going to be offered to me by the my bank anyway - Bank of America, so I basically paid for a service my bank was already going to offer to me expect for 3% transfer fees which cost much less then $740 charged by this company. The company implied that they work closely with my bank to help reduce this rate. I feel very uncomfortabe with what happened to me. This company actually added to my credit card debit.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back. I feel very pressured and cheated by this company.

Review: Carenet had reached out to me in September of 2013 informing me they can reduce my credit card rate to 0% APR for the rest of my life while consolidating my other 2 cards as well. They told me as soon as they do this, a minimal charge will be charged to my card for services rendered. about 2 weeks later I received a new capital one credit card in the mail with a 0%APR which when I called, I was informed was only available for the first year until interest started accruing. [redacted] informed me that no one by the name of Carenet reached out to them to consolidate anything. They informed me that this card was applied for by "my person" and not a third party helping me to consolidate. They suggested I reach out to my credit card that the charge was made to. [redacted] was the credit card affected by this transaction and I informed them of what had happened. they directed me to file a dispute and so I did. I faxed over all necessary documents for them at the time of their request. Just last week, [redacted] contacted me and informed me that time has lapsed and that they didnt get one of my documents so they have to take this dispute off. I was very angry because I was not informed they didnt receive one of my faxes. Carenet did not provide any services rendered. All they did was get me a credit card that I learned I was already pre-approved for. I tried calling this company back as soon as I got the card and there was no answer for 2 weeks. As I finally got in touch with them they are saying that I should have called as soon as I got the card so they could do whatever lies they said they were going to and I informed them I did but they keep telling me I didnt. they are extremely rude and are not taking back the charge as I have verbally requested.Desired Settlement: Carenet charged my credit card $740.00 and I would like this to be refunded to me. this is the only transaction left on this card as I have finally paid the entire balance off from college.
