I was given a prescription from my doctor for a drug that needed to be compounded because I take it at a very low dose Since CVS is my designated pharmacy through my insurance plan, I called their specialty pharmacy on 3/24/to find out if they could compound my particular drugThe representative said they could I asked her to make sure because it wasn't a common drug or dose, she put me on hold to find out She then assured me they could I checked with her one more time and she said yes, they could do it, I only needed to fax my prescription to them, and she gave me the fax number I asked if it could be emailed, she said no, it must be faxed So I faxed it to them the following day On April 3rd I received a phone call from CVS and was told they could not fill the prescription but they could send it to a compounding pharmacy for me, and I gave them the fax number of The Medicine Shoppe, a compounding pharmacy that assured me that they compound my drug within hours B

CVS caremark is the insurance carrier my company has for prescription medication For years I have been taking *** for extreme acid reflux Starting about years ago CVS started questioning my Dr.s prescription and wanted a "prior authorization"This practice is ridiculous because my authorization is my prescription my doctor wrote So we would have to go through about a week's red tape before CVS would honor the scriptThe process included numerous calls and visits to my doctor that ballooned my medical bills far beyond what they were when my doctor wrote the original prescription Fast forward to 2015, *** came out with a 'genertic' drug, which CVS Caremark immediately switched me toI did not mind, the generic worked fine In January my doctor wrote a script for day supply with refills to send to CVS caremark to cover me the entire period The script was mailed and CVS sent me the 1st script of day supply of generic ***I was to have refills

My physicians office placed an order for my prescription and I was told CVS Caremark would have to fill the prescription and they would call to schedule delivery This was the first week of April 2016/ My appointment was for the 15thI never rec'd a call so I ended up calling the 12th to ensure my prescription would be delivered on time for my dr apptWhen speaking with the rep they told me the delivery date would be the 14th so I would make my Friday (15th) appointmentCome Friday the prescription never arrived I called and was placed on hold at least times for over ten minutes each time and the reps did not come back on the lineFinally a rep did not put me on hold and told me that there were not any notes as to why they did not ship the medication it just simply didn't shipAlso, that it was noted to ship that morning and I would have SaturdaySo I completely missed my appointment and there was no reason as to whyI took off the morning for this specifically and had bee

CVS took an unauthorized $off my debit cardI did not authorize or approve that paymentI had just returned to work on Sept 6th, I had been on LOA since April 5th They shorted my check some hours and I'm currently in the process of getting another check cut to for the hours I was shortedI went to make my power payment this morning, it's due to be disconnected/interrupted on TuesdayBut I couldn't make that payment, they sucked all but $off my cardAnd for another thing, I don't owe them $I filed a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection BureauThis is exactly why people don't want to do business like thisAnd for another reason, they're telling me I can't get one of my prescriptions refilled until Sept 29th, when the local CVS Pharmacy has the same prescription filled but wants to charge me times the price of the mail order

Yesterday I was at the doctor's office and was prescribed a medication that I normally get locally By mistake they set the prescription electronically to CVS Caremark They immediately sent CVS Caremark a cancelation and then transmitted the to the local pharmacy I picked up that prescription and paid $ Six hours later I received an email stating that CVS Caremark was processing the prescription and the cost was going to be $ I called CVS Caremark and told them that they were not supposed to process that prescription because it was cancelled by the doctor I stated that I had already gotten my prescription locally They stated that they didn't see the cancelation and now there is no way to stop the processingI am surprised they were able to process a duplicate prescription on the same day but they can clearly see that I had gotten it in my prescription history They are sticking it to me and I clearly have a problem every time I have to get a prescription from th

I made the mistake of registering my credit card information with CVS *** for mail order prescriptions; I've had issues with them auto-charging me for 30-day prescriptions from my doctor I did not order in the past When this has occurred (two or three times), I laid down and paid it without complaint

April 28, Thank you for the opportunity to address Ms***’ concerns as expressed in Complaint ID ***. Upon review of MrMs***’ concern we verified that the medication in question was received via electronic prescription from the prescribing physician's office. This prescription request was not initiated by CVS/caremark mail order and was fulfilled in good faith. Additionally there were no notes on Ms***’ profile at the time of this order asking that our pharmacy not fill prescriptions unless directly approved by her. Our filling pharmacy does not accept and does not return to stock unused portions of prescriptions that are returned by our members because we would no longer have any assurance of the strength, quality, purity or identity of the medication. For this particular situation, CVS/caremark return policy does not allow for the return of medication for credit. If the recipient refuses the shipment or returns the medication outside of acceptable reasons for a return under our policy, the recipient is still responsible for the full copayment Although there is no evidence indicating an error on the part of CVS/caremark, on March 20, Ms***’ was sent a mailer in which she returned the full quantity of the medication in question to receive a full credit as a one-time courtesyOur records reflect that we received the order back on April 30, and also credited her credit card the full amount of $the same day. CVS Caremark ships me automatic refills for prescriptions that I do not have enrolled in automatic refills I turned off auto-refill for prescriptions on 11/6/ I received an email on 11/22/telling me that these prescriptions, including that my doctor took me off because it was affecting my potassium levels, were being shipped and charged to my credit card I immediately called CVS Caremark upon receipt of the email to cancel the shipment The representative said it was too late to cancel the shipment She said that auto-refills are started days prior to shipping, so I told her I cancelled my auto-refills days ago She then changed her story, saying that I had cancelled my auto-refills three hours after the refills had been started I asked for a refund for the prescriptions, and she said I would have to ship them back I spent half an hour speaking to this representative, and now I'm expected to go to the post office to return items I never ordered Th

CVS has been charging my *** support program thousands of dollars in which they are not owed, as I have *** *** *** *** insMy out of pocket was exhausted by June/ however CVS charged my support program dollars in July which CVS shouldn't have and again in November they charged both of these were paid by my ins company at percentThis is only of the many fraudulent charges they have made against my support programWe have found they have done the same thing with my husbands *** support program

I filed to have a Rx filled at my local pharmacy and CVS had this RX cancelled and did not contact me to state they were not allowing my pharmacy to fill it and that CVS had to do it
My Pharmacy advised me of the situation and advised me that I had to contact CVS directlyI called the *** number and spoke with *** She told me that I had to have my pharmacy transfer the Rx over and that as long as it was done today (31Dec2015), it would be processed today and billed for before the 1st of the year
