I changed one of my medications to GENERIC After informing the company that I could no longer afford "name brand" medication, they purposely filled my next refill with name brand medication, charging my credit card $ After I contacted them, they said they would issue a credit but they couldn't accept the medication back Instead of issuing a credit, they sent the generic medicationThen I had two day supplies of medication Today, I received an email that they have sent me a new order of the same medication, so that's three day prescriptions in less than days, and they have charged my credit card for another $ I am retired with very limited funds and they are just stealing my money The generic refills were suppose to be free for the year

I am a type diabeticCVS Caremark has a program called Diabetic bundling or pricing planThis allows the customer to pay for the first insulin prescription and all other corresponding prescriptions (needles, test strips, other insulin types) to be included in the order for $This runs the customer $per order

They will not fix the first two orders at allThe 3rd order, they did refund $222.62, however, that still leaves me paying $and it should only be $On this order, they did ship in two orders, but they were both sent and processed on the same day (2/12) so it still should be only $
I have contacted them repeatedlyThey will not assist nor call me back

I went to see my DR for my asthmaThe DR renewed my prescriptions electronically with CaremarkI advised the DR that I didn't need any prescriptions at this time, as I still have inhalersHe advised that "he is just renewing them and they shouldn’t be sent in theory." A week later I receive a box that is NOT marked "Caremark"I think it is something we ordered from ***I open it up and I see inhalers that I DID NOT order and a bill for stating that my credit card declined the purchase, so here is the billI called Caremark and they said sorry, that is our policy and you have to pay for the medication that you did not orderI even asked to speak to a manager and who said more of the sameI think this practice of Caremark is criminal and needs to be investigated

I would give them a Unfortunately, It is not an optionRecently there was a drug recall for ***I was on the medication that was recalledI made several calls to CVS regarding the recalled medicationI asked them why didn't they message everyone via email and let them know about the recallIn my case, I missed the news that week because I had personal problemsCVS Caremark said they don't reach out to their customers that way regarding recalled drugsThey wait for their customers to reach out to them I was shocked because I was on this drug from one of the pharmacies & I was taking a recalled medication every day They went on to say they could not help me with a substitute that was not recalled They asked me to reach out to my local drugstoreMy local pharmacy tried to help me and they did not have a substitute medication for meI called CVS back a couple times and I felt like I was talking to high school kids that had no idea what was going on with this recallIt was very confusing and many holds and answers that kept changingI finally got a new medication from my doctor nd was able to refill it at CVS at a *** nearbyI must say *** pharmacy was 100% better than the CVS Caremark mail order service I was supposed to get a mailer to send back the recalled medicationThat also never happenedMy local pharmacy Is *** Drug*** Drug is actually the one that notified me about the recall They called me because I was previously their customer until BLUE CROSS forced me to use CVS CaremarkSo another pharmacy actually contacted me via phone call and asked me if I was still on that medicationThey took the time to advise me to call my doctor and find another medicationI can not say enough good things about *** DrugI was forced by *** *** to get my medications from CVS Caremark earlier this yearCVS Caremark is a nightmareI will actually find another health insurance so I don't have to deal with month supplies of drugs I may never use & Customer Service that doesn't existThis is my life and my health I don't trust CVS Caremark with this responsibility We need choices and CVS Caremark should not be the only choiceIts unfair and they are not doing a good job

CVS/CAREMARK is a greedy companyOnce you have a prescription filled with auto refill and no longer need that medication they still send it and bill youI have called multiple times, replied to their text reminders and phone calls telling them not send that medicine and still keeping getting the medication and bills for it Do not ever have them auto payOnce you receive the medicine you are stuck with itNo wonder there is a problem people getting addicted to drugs

I was charged for prescriptions total $after my out of pocket maximum was met I have been trying to get a refund since October 17, I have called repeatedly and I am always told someone will call me back but they never do I have confirmation from my medical insurance company that the out of pocket max was met in July but Caremark continued to charge for scripts through October I have had my medical company *** *** *** *** *** contact caremark directly but Caremark still refuses to resolve the issue

A few weeks ago I sent a paper check, check no***, not an electronic check by mail to CVS Caremark Mail Order Pharmacy for $ for a year's supply of medicineOrdinarily, if a check takes two weeks or more to clear my bank the reason would be that the check was slow in reaching the merchantEither the postal service was late in delivering my check or the companies mail room was backloggedWhen the check finally reached the merchant, the merchant would cash the check that very day and the check would clear my bank the day after In the case of CVS Caremark, according to their own customer service, the check reached the company on February 24, CVS Caremark DID receive the funds and applied them to the year's supply of medicine The only problem was, the check never cleared my bankI contacted *** *** *** ***, my bank, to conduct a search to see if the check ever entered their bank After a thorough search, *** *** stated they had no evidence that

Upon review of this concern we verified the medication in question was originally ordered on December 14, We were not able to fulfill the order request until January 2, because the method of payment on file was declined. We attempted to contact Mr*** via phone on December 14, and December 15, in an effort to obtain a different method of payment but we were not successful in reaching him. Mr*** contacted us on December 23, and a new order was created and once again, the method of payment on file was declinedAdditional attempts were made to contact Mr*** via phone on December 23, and December 24, with no response. This is in response to your inquiry dated September 6, regarding the member’s mail order prescription
The member contacted the Customer Care Unit on August 29, requesting to have the prescription cancelledThe prescription was in the final stages of processing; therefore, the prescription could not be canceled or alteredThere are no requests on file from the physician’s office to cancel the orderThe Customer Care Representative advised the member of this informationThe Customer Care Representative also advised the prescription was filled in good faith and the member would be responsible for the $copayment as it is our policy returned medication is not accepted, and credits are not issued, unless there was an error on our partBy law, Caremark cannot restock and/or resend medication after it has left our facility and all returned medication is destroyedThe member became verbally abusive with the Customer Care Representative

Prescription sent to cvs mail order to address informed by customer service and cvs does not acknowledge receiving itCalled customer service and after a min call was told as email would be sent by the supervisor to the mail order service to track the order and I would receive a call back withe status wihhin a daydays later no contact or information was receivedCalled again and received the same answer today.the prescription in case is for a month supply of an expensive controlled medicationHad to request another prescription to the doctor and pick it up in person in the doctors officeWorst of all was to be made feel stupid for not mailing using a tracking numberAs if the usps was unreliable!
