Watch repairs is not telling the true. I have only send the watch to you for the battery to be change. I have proof of the same watch been sent to another company and it was in perfect condition. Watch USA search of my watch and I have all emails send to me. Why will they do a research if you know it was not the watch. I am faxing the emails to you a copy of the other company that service the same by Monday. Thanks

The insurance amount was provided by the customer, the shipping cost is based on a calculation of the insurance value. If the customer wanted to change the insurance amount, they could have simply contact us by phone, email, or live chat and we would have been happy to make the adjustment. Nothing can be done now, since we have already paid [redacted] to insure the package for 15k en route to the customer and the package is delivered. The customer should probably stop calling attention to the fact that they have possession of illegal merchandise.

Hello [redacted] thank you for your feedback. As Stephanie explained to you earlier today by phone, we can return your watch to you by [redacted] ground service for $7.50 without insurance. As you have placed the value of your watch at $15.00, adding insurance would only increase your costs. She would have...

been able to assist you with that process however you disconnected the call after some final parting words and therefore she never got the chance. Please feel free to contact us again by phone or E-mail at any time and we can arrange for your watch to be returned to you via postal service; rather than [redacted]. As you have expressed that it is possible for your watch to be shipped to CA from NY as a 2 day priority box for $5.00, please feel free to purchase the label yourself at that rate and send us a scanned copy; as a courtesy we would be happy to use that for return shipping purposes as well. As [redacted].com does not produce a flat rate box that ships for $5.00 we are unable to obtain one. Their website as I have stated above starts at $7.50 as the minimum cost for return postage from our facility to your home.

Customer requested this service, but was not quoted for this service nor did they pay for the service. Ultimately it is the customers responsibility actually read the quote we provide to make sure they are paying for exactly what they want are wanting.  Given the customers dissatisfaction...

I offered to pay for the shipping both ways in order to provide a quote for the additional work.

Dear [redacted], our system runs through our website as instructed by our team. In order to decline your estimate you needed to do so online. Your watch has shipped back to you and you can check that tracking information online.

The customer received a free quote from us, this is the work we feel is necessary. If he does not like the quote there is nothing stopping him from getting a second opinion.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

You call that fair--free shipping. You offer free shipping either way. You aren't doing anything else besides what you would normally provide. Did you read the documentation that I provided at all since as a business owner that's one of your obligations. Why is it that I did not get the crystal replaced on my watch? You provide no answers, but talk about statutes. This is once again proof of abnormal, shady business practices. It isn't as if you said there was a mistake on your behalf. You only blame me as the consumer for accepting your quote. Sir, at least take ownership of your mistake. You simply did not provide the service that was asked for.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

First off, when one seeks service, one expects to be provided such service without complications. That is not necessarily the case most of the time; however, if complications arise, one should be notified and made aware of all formalities regarding such complications. with that being said, I requested repairs performed on my watch. The repairs asked: we're the button on the side of my watch to be replaced and a new crystal that was scratch-free replaced on the face of my watch. The business sent me a quote with parts that were to be replaced. I agreed to the quote that was given. The list of parts given were in a form that only a person who repairs watches for a living could comprehend. The business owner purposely does this to unbeknowing customers to receive extra payment. Why not state only half the work could be done? Why not clarify the terms given. As you can see from previous complaints this gentleman has a common business practice of deceit. Mr. C[redacted] also gives no date of completion with his services and customers have to inquire about work. Once they inquire about the work he doesn't respond. I have proof of emails and correspondence pertains to this service. I understand that I am liable for agreeing to the terms, but he is also liable about not divulging the specifics of the repairs. By not saying something, he is also accountable. He states he would agree to do additional repairs, but how can he do so without having such bias after this complaint. The customer deserves quality work--not partial work. This consumes time on my behalf and that also has a value. Ultimately, I would like to see some type of compensation for this misuse of time and unwillingness to meet my service expectations. Even if I do not receive compensation, the satisfaction that someone else may see this complaint and think twice before doing business with WatchRepairsUSA is satisfaction enough. In addition, where in the world does a button for the side of a watch cost 174.14. This isn't a Hermes or Hublot watch. This is inflation at its highest.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I had the business state in writing that, in my view, they will correct their mistakes and send the watch back to me at no cost. I had to protect myself from such companies that say one thing and do another. I expected the business to fulfill the agreed action within a reasonable amount of time.
Sincerely,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here] this response is not accurate.   I have requested the return of the watch in my email communications and also in phone conversation with their customer representatives,  and indicated I would pay for return shipping.     I have NOT abandoned the watch.    Despite assurances from this company they have made NO effort to return the watch as I have requested.   I will pay for the return shipping, as I have now told them several times.   What do I have to do to initiate the return?  I will gladly pay for the shipping.  [redacted] would be my preference.  Please advise.

Watch was not opened and not touched. It has an unrepairable [redacted] movement inside which is not designed for repair, but only replacement. This is why we did not even open the watch up. We cannot be held responsible for a watch which was not even touched by us.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business...

in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

my watch was placed inside a well-padded shipping box, so I don't agree that the watch was damaged during transit. In addition, even though the company pays for shipping inbound, I will have to pay shipping again to have the watch sent back to me. Had they performed quality check on my watch before sending out, I would not have to file a case. My initial desired resolution still stands, or if I get written agreement from the company that they will repair and put my watch in working order, at no cost to me, then I will accept the action. This has been a very time-consuming and frustrating experience for me.

Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Oh 12/*/2015, I wrote to [redacted] requesting the return of my watch.  No estimate had been received at that point. His response was to put me off further regarding the status of an estimate.   I wrote to him again on 12/**/2015 requesting the return of my grandfather's pocket watch (my watch). His response was to inquire if I was sure I wanted my watch returned.  I responded within five minutes informing [redacted] that I was positive and I desired my watch be returned as soon as possible.  His next response agreed to return my watch and promised to send me a bill of shipping within the next few days.  I have never received such a bill or shipping statement.  When an estimate finally arrived, I regarded it as irrelevant since I was now positive I wanted the watch returned to me.  I have lost all trust in this company.  The watch may be of significant value because of its age and the company which made it.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The part requested for this repair took an extended period of time to receive from the manufacturer. This is not uncommon for the watch industry in which parts and repairs take a long time. Upon receiving the part, WR USA replaced the band and sent the watch back to the customer immediately.

The customer states his only proof is his "word" that we somehow caused all this damage, even though we only evaluated the watch for the estimate. The likelihood of this being logically true is zero. I really do not know how else to respond to this complaint, considering the customer has offered zero in the way of any technical explanation for his claims.

Our obligation is to find all problems with the watch. The circuit board has a very high voltage consumption and needs servicing. We provided a no-obligation, no sales pressure quote for the correct work which this watch requires. In order to obtain parts from the factory we have to follow factory guidelines. This is the same procedure the factory uses.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed...

the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Once again, the representative for the company, Adam, seems to only be able to address one issue at a time.  My complaint addressed multiple issues:  the deceitful practice of baiting customers by offering "free" estimates for repair that are not truly free estimates ($14.95 for return shipping REQUIRED), the cheap quality of the bracelet they sold me, and the poor customer service offered by Adam after I complained and requested a refund, which was not granted to me.  Adam only addressed the "free" estimate complaint I had.  In his response to my complaint throught the Revdex.com, Adam says that they would be 'happy' to use another shipping method (of my choice) to save me money.  Well, Adam never offered this to me, so how was I supposed to know?  Once again, poor customer service and communication.  In his response, Adam failed to respond to my complaints of cheap quality and workmanship, and rejecting my request for a refund.  I consider this complaint to be UNRESOLVED until he does 2 things:  address these other 2 issues in my complaint, and give me a full refund, including shipping.  If he does those 2 things, I will consider this complaint closed and I will also send them back their cheap bracelet they sold me.  I'll even pay for my own shipping.
