Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: First off, when one seeks service, one expects to be provided such service without complicationsThat is not necessarily the case most of the time; however, if complications arise, one should be notified and made aware of all formalities regarding such complicationswith that being said, I requested repairs performed on my watchThe repairs asked: we're the button on the side of my watch to be replaced and a new crystal that was scratch-free replaced on the face of my watchThe business sent me a quote with parts that were to be replacedI agreed to the quote that was givenThe list of parts given were in a form that only a person who repairs watches for a living could comprehendThe business owner purposely does this to unbeknowing customers to receive extra paymentWhy not state only half the work could be done? Why not clarify the terms givenAs you can see from previous complaints this gentleman has a common business practice of deceitMrC [redacted] also gives no date of completion with his services and customers have to inquire about workOnce they inquire about the work he doesn't respondI have proof of emails and correspondence pertains to this serviceI understand that I am liable for agreeing to the terms, but he is also liable about not divulging the specifics of the repairsBy not saying something, he is also accountableHe states he would agree to do additional repairs, but how can he do so without having such bias after this complaintThe customer deserves quality work--not partial workThis consumes time on my behalf and that also has a valueUltimately, I would like to see some type of compensation for this misuse of time and unwillingness to meet my service expectationsEven if I do not receive compensation, the satisfaction that someone else may see this complaint and think twice before doing business with WatchRepairsUSA is satisfaction enough.In addition, where in the world does a button for the side of a watch cost This isn't a Hermes or Hublot watchThis is inflation at its highest In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Watch was not opened and not touchedIt has an unrepairable [redacted] movement inside which is not designed for repair, but only replacementThis is why we did not even open the watch upWe cannot be held responsible for a watch which was not even touched by us

While it is very rare that watches go missing while in transit to us, we always request proof of valuesA picture of you wearing the watch is not a substitute for watch valueSecondly, the watch was registered under multiple repair numbers with varying watch values that don't match the costs associated with similar watchesThirdly, we confirmed with the manufacturer that the watch you claimed to have was never produced by the factory, during the time frame or at the value statedWe have been in direct contact with you during this process and have made multiple attempts to resolve this issueIn all correspondence we have requested specific information and you have not produced what is needed to help on your behalf

We have confirmed with Cartier that your watch is with them and that it is under repairUnfortunately your repair is taking longer than expected, as can be the case with service centersYou approved your watch to be sent to the service center and the repairs to be performedWe have approved those repairs with Cartier and we will have your watch back to you as soon as those repair are completedWe can assure you that your watch is not stolenWe have no intention of keeping your watchIn fact your watch is not at our facility since March when your service center request was approvedTo note, watch repairs can take longer than expectedThe time frame we give you is an estimate based on standard repair times though some repairs can take longer, and sometimes quite a bit longer when parts are not available or discontinuedWe appreciate your patience while your watch is being repaired by Cartier

Customer sent us a [redacted] label and the watch will ship back to him this weekHe did not approve our FREE quote, and he is free to seek a second opinion

Hello [redacted] , Upon receipt of your first complaint to the Revdex.com, we contacted the Junkers factory that we forwarded your watch to with your permissionWe informed them that you no longer wished to wait for an estimate and asked that they please return the watch to you without repairIn order to further expedite that process, we covered the return shipping charges and asked the factory to ship the watch directly to you, rather than sending it back to our facility where it would have had to be re-processed and shipped out againAs per *** (document attached) you received the watch yesterday and signed for it as wellI would hope that the return of your watch free of charge would have resolved this matter

The customer received a free quote from us, this is the work we feel is necessaryIf he does not like the quote there is nothing stopping him from getting a second opinion

Again there is simply no way the customer can possibly be sure we "destroyed" their lightLights burn out

The insurance amount was provided by the customer, the shipping cost is based on a calculation of the insurance valueIf the customer wanted to change the insurance amount, they could have simply contact us by phone, email, or live chat and we would have been happy to make the adjustmentNothing can be done now, since we have already paid [redacted] to insure the package for 15k en route to the customer and the package is deliveredThe customer should probably stop calling attention to the fact that they have possession of illegal merchandise

The customer is now over-stepping their boundsWe agree to return the watch in the same condition it was (supposedly) sent to usI use the word supposedly because we have no way to prove or disprove what they are sayingAre processes are such that they would prevent a situation like thisWe are being gracious and offering to return the watch in the same condition at no cost, with no argument
